중년여성의 건강추구행위의 장애요인 (Barriers to Health-Seeking Behavior in Midlife Women)

  • Health behavior constitutes the single most important factor in an individual's health maintenance program. Pender's health promotion model emphasizes the positive aspects of health-seeking behavior hut omits some negative ones. Although Pender's work does include the concept of barriers, the main focus is upon health habits rather than upon the interaction between the consumer and the health care system. Therefore, since individuals actually do face many barriers in their health-seeking behavior, the present study deals with negative concepts-the barriers to health and healthy behavior. For this reason the expression health-seeking behavior was chosen over health promotion. In conclusion, the results show that barriers to health-seeking behavior are causal factors that could explain and predict the health-seeking behavior of middle life women. Midlife women shows that they have barriers to health-seeking behavior especially in inconvenience, cost, healthcenter site-related problem, relationship, fear. These findings suggest the need to develop a nursing strategy to improve the empowerment of self-determination in middle-aged women. Consequently, a goal of nursing care for middle-aged women should be to help them pursue health care with a greater degree of self-sufficiency.

식생활 라이프스타일이 중학생의 탄산음료 소비 형태에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Food-Related Lifestyle on Carbonated Beverage Consumption Behavior of the Middle School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze middle students' carbonated beverages selection and consumption behaviors depending on their food-related lifestyle. Data was collected from 307 middle students in Incheon region through a self-administered questionnaire. According to the results of the factor analysis, food-related lifestyle showed that the average is more than 3.0, 0.800 in Cronbach alpha coefficient. There were significant differences in carbonated beverages preference according to health seeking, easy seeking, popularity seeking, and safety seeking type (p<0.05). Also easy seeking and popularity seeking type lifestyle showed significant differences in the reason to drink carbonated drinks (p<0.05), especially school canteen amenities tended to pursue the highest fashion. A significant significance positive result of the consumption of carbonated beverages (p<0.01) was shown for the easy seeking type. A significant positive result of the consumption of carbonated beverages (p<0.01) was shown for the taste seeking and safety seeking type. Analysis of the relationship between carbonated beverage consumption, and form factor showed a high correlation coefficient of 0.617 and with brand design, while the taste and the price were (p<0.05) 0.446, and 0.437 in order to design and calories, respectively.

주부들의 식생활 라이프스타일에 따른 고추장 소비 행태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Consumption Behaviors Regarding Red Pepper Paste according to the Food-related Lifestyles of Housewives)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate consumption behaviors regarding red pepper paste according to the food-related lifestyles of housewives. Data were collected from 210 housewives living in the Gyeongnam region of Korea through a self-administered questionnaire on November, 2008. Frequencies, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, cluster analysis, one-way analysis of variance, and chi-square tests were conducted using SPSS v. 14.0. Food-related lifestyles were categorized into one of five factors: popularity-seeking type, health-seeking type, convenience-seeking type, safety-seeking type, and taste-seeking type. In addition, the respondents were divided into four groups by cluster analysis: safety-seeking group, convenience-seeking group, popularity-seeking group, and taste-seeking group. The chi-square tests revealed that there were significant differences in awareness regarding how to prepare red pepper paste, the reason for buying it at the market, where to buy it, where to obtain information regarding it, the most important factor considered when buying it, and the reason for dissatisfaction with it at the market.

대학생의 식생활 라이프스타일에 따른 음료 섭취 실태 분석 (Intake Behavior Regarding Beverages according to Dietary Lifestyles of University Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to categorize dietary lifestyles and analyze intake behavior regarding beverages according to lifestyles of 276 university students in Yeungnam region. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, reliability analysis, one-way analysis of variance, and ${\chi}^2$ tests were conducted using SPSS V.21.0. In the factor analysis, dietary lifestyles were categorized into one of five factors: health-seeking type, popularity-seeking type, safety-seeking type, economy-seeking type and convenience-seeking type. According to cluster analysis, respondents were divided into four groups: convenience-seeking group, wellbeing-seeking group, popularity-seeking group, and indifference group. Chi-square tests showed that there were significant differences in gender, grade, dwelling status, and monthly allowance according to the four dietary lifestyle groups. The level of dietary habits and percentage of correct answers related to beverages of the wellbeing-seeking group were highest among the four groups. The frequency of beverage intake was significantly different for carbonated drinks, milk and dairy products, and sport drinks according to dietary lifestyle groups. In addition, for beverage preference, there were significant differences in carbonated drinks, sport drinks, tea and functional drinks according to dietary lifestyle groups.

임신부의 정보추구 경험 - 정보추구의 구조와 과정 - (Pregnant Women's Information Seeking Experience : Structure and Process of Information Seeking)

  • 본 연구는 근거이론을 적용하여 임신부들의 정보추구경험과 관련된 제 개념 및 이들 개념들 간의 관계 규명을 통하여 임신부의 정보추구에 관한 구조와 과정을 밝힌 연구이다. 이론적 표집에 의해 16명의 임신부들을 대상으로 심층적인 면담을 수행하였고. 면담데이타는 근거이론의 지속적인 비교분석에 의해 분석되었다. 본 연구에서 임신부의 정보추구의 발생원인은 임신의 수용으로 나타났다. 임신부들은 지각된 불안과 궁금증의 맥락에서 임신의 정상상태 유지현상을 해결하기 위해 산전 진단데이타 추구하기. 표준지식 추구하기, 경험담 추구하기와 정서적 지지 추구하기의 작용/상호작용적 정보추구 전략을 취하였으며, 비교하기, 맥락화 하기, 확인하기의 정보추구의 과정들을 거쳐 갔다. 이때, 정보 획득방법 인지, 임신 출산의 선행지식, 자아조절, 정보접근환경이 중재조건으로 작용하였다. 그 결과 충족과 불충족을 경험하였다. 또한 임신부들은 임신의 과정동안 정보요구의 변화 발전에 따라, 수용국면, 적응국면, 구체국면, 전환국면을 통과하였다. 후속연구에서는 본 연구에서 밝혀진 정보추구의 구조와 과정을 통합하여 임신부의 정보추구행위를 총체적으로 설명하는 실체이론을 개발해야 할 것이다.

한·중 고등학생들이 지각한 교실 목적구조와 학교 참여 간의 관계에서 도움 요청 행동의 매개효과 (The Mediating Role of Help-seeking Behavior on the Links between Classroom Goal Structure and School Engagement of High School Students in Korea and China)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국과 중국의 고등학생들을 대상으로 이들이 지각한 교실 목적구조(숙달, 수행접근, 수행회피), 도움 요청 행동(도움 요청, 도움 요청 회피) 및 학교 참여에 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 살펴보고, 이들이 지각한 교실 목적구조와 학교 참여 간의 관계에서 도움 요청 행동(도움 요청, 도움 요청 회피)이 매개하는지에 대해 탐색해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한국과 중국의 고등학생 총 584명을 최종 분석 대상으로 선정하였다. 본 연구 결과, 한국의 고등학생들에 비해 중국의 고등학생들이 지각한 교실 숙달 목적구조 및 교실 수행회피 목조구조 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났고, 도움 요청과 정서적 학교 참여 수준도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 반면에, 한국 고등학생들이 중국 고등학생들에 비해 행동적 학교 참여 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 한국 고등학생들이 지닌 도움 요청 및 도움 요청 회피는 교실 숙달 목적구조와 학교 참여 간의 관계를 유의하게 매개하며, 도움 요청 회피는 교실 수해회피 목적구조와 학교 참여 간의 관계를 유의하게 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 중국 고등학생들이 지닌 도움 요청 및 도움 요청 회피는 교실 수행회피 목적구조와 학교 참여 간의 관계를 유의하게 매개하며, 도움 요청 회피만 교실 숙달 목적구조와 학교 참여 간의 관계를 유의하게 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 본 연구 결과는 한국과 중국의 고등학생들의 학교 참여 수준 증진을 위한 방안을 개발하는 데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

여대생의 도움추구 행위, 자기개방성 및 자기은폐 간의 관계 (Relation between the Help Seeking Behaviors, Self-disclosure and Self-consealment in Female College Women)

  • The college students were faced with not just technical challenges that require skill acquisition but adaptive challenges that require transforming one's mindset to a more complex way of making meaning. The purpose of this study was confirmed the relations among the help-seeking behavior, self-disclosure and self-concealment of 343 female college students'. As a result of data analysis, positive help seeking attitude was higher when the level of self-concealment was lower and self-disclosure, but regarding help-seeking intention, consultation intention was shown to be higher in the case of lower self-disclosure and higher self-concealment. Therefore, female college students need to visit college consultation centers more often while attending college and it needs to provide those students with mediation so that they can use mental health consultation services easily.

대학생의 취업불안과 우울이 자살생각에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Suicidal Ideation on Job-Seeking Anxiety and Depression of University students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of study is to examine the relationships among job-seeking anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation of university students. The research design was a descriptive survey study, and 317 university students were selected through convenience sampling at two. Results: The higher criteria of job-seeking anxiety of arousing job-seeking anxiety and the average score of depression was 10.2. average of suicidal ideation was 22.4. Result from correlational analysis indicated that suicidal ideation was significantly with job-seeking anxiety and depression. Conclusion: The results of this study were useful to develop reducing job-seeking anxiety and depression programs for university students. We suggest more various to job-seeking anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation of university students in various. Implications of the findings, as well as directions for future research are discussed.

The Effect of Construal Level on Variety Seeking across Subcategories

  • The present study investigates how consumers' construal level affects their variety seeking behavior when choosing multiple items simultaneously. Especially the authors focus on the perceptual level at which variety seeking takes place and propose that variety seeking can take place not only at brand level but also at category or subcategory level. Categorical variety seeking refers to diversification of one's choices over multiple brands not within the same category but across multiple categories. Building on construal level theory, the authors expected that people engaging in higher-level construals tend to subcategorize the choice set and distribute their choices across more subcategories and designed four experiments to test the related hypotheses. The experimental results showed that consumers' construal level can affect the level at which variety seeking takes place and those with higher construal level tend to choose options seemingly more dissimilar to each other.

The Extension of the RISP Model with Behavioral Intention regarding Breast Cancer Screening

  • This study aims to analyze multiple predictors of information seeking behavior, including information seeking intention about breast cancer, using the risk information seeking and processing (RISP) model. Data from 680 female respondents shows that when individuals perceived the risk of breast cancer, they felt more negative emotions, such as anxiety and nervousness, which increased the need for more information about the risk and tendency to seek information. In addition, information subjective norms were positively related with information seeking intention. When individuals felt they lacked relevant information, their seeking intention increased. Lastly, seeking intention led to breast cancer screening intention.
