Intelligent Automated Cognitive-Maturity Recognition System for Confidence Based E-Learning

  • As a consequence of sudden outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, educational institutes around the globe are forced to switch from traditional learning systems to e-learning systems. This has led to a variety of technology-driven pedagogies in e-teaching as well as e-learning. In order to take the best advantage, an appropriate understanding of the cognitive capability is of prime importance. This paper presents an intelligent cognitive maturity recognition system for confidence-based e-learning. We gather the data from actual test environment by involving a number of students and academicians to act as experts. Then a Genetic Programming based simulation and modeling is applied to generate a generalized classifier in the form of a mathematical expression. The simulation is derived towards an optimal space by carefully designed fitness function and assigning a range to each of the class labels. Experimental results validate that the proposed method yields comparative and superior results which makes it feasible to be used in real world scenarios.

  • The article is devoted to current problems of the concept leadership. The essence of the concept of "leadership" is considered and leadership theories. The authors of the article conducted a multifaceted analysis of leadership theories, analyzed the factors of their formation and identified their relationship. Also, the reasons for the difference and connection between leadership and leadership. Styles were presented leadership and their role in building effective leadership. To form the basis of effective leadership was compared to the main criteria inherent in this theories. The following research methods were used in the work: theoretical (analysis of regulatory documents and scientific literature on the problem under study, comparison, generalization, modeling), empirical (diagnostics of the level of formation of managerial competencies of students of the system, questioning, observation, peer review, comparative qualitative and quantitative analysis of diagnostic results the level of formation of managerial competencies).

  • 본 논문에서는 새로운 신뢰 망 운용에 가상화 기술을 적용하기 위하여 기존 가상화 기술 연구동향 및 문제점을 분석하고, 가장 적합한 가상화 기술을 제시하고자 한다. 가상화 기술을 통하여 자원의 활용률을 높이고 관리비용을 절감할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 한편 보안 측면에서는 가상화를 통한 보안의 장점도 있는 반면에, 가상화의 도입으로 인한 새로운 취약성이 발생하여 이 문제에 대한 분석 및 대책이 필요하다. 따라서 가상화 시스템의 보안 위협 요소들을 도출하고, 가상화 보안 정책에 대하여 분석하고 살펴본다.

  • 국방 M&S(Modeling & Simulation) 분야는 컴퓨터상에 모의 전장 환경 및 무기 모델을 구축하고 다양한 시나리오에 의해 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 무기체계의 효과도를 분석하는 현실적인 수단으로 이용되고 있다. 그러나, 무기체계의 구조 및 행위가 복잡해짐에 따라 이를 시뮬레이션 모델로 만드는 과정이 어려워지고 있다. 모델 재사용 저장소는 시뮬레이션 모델 구축에 필요한 비용을 절감하기 위해 기존에 개발 및 검증된 모델을 저장하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 재사용 저장소들은 특정 플랫폼 및 환경에서만 운용되어 사용자 층에 제한이 있으며, 보안 및 무중단 서비스를 위한 메커니즘이 미흡하여 무기체계 모델과 같은 보안 및 신뢰성이 필요한 모델을 저장하기에는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 무기체계 모델의 재사용을 장려하기 위한 클라우드 저장소인 W-Cloud (Weapon Cloud)를 구축하여 다양한 플랫폼 및 환경에서 활용될 수 있도록 하였다. 또한, 계층형 정보보호 및 기밀성 보장을 통해 무기 모델의 재사용 과정에서 생길 수 있는 보안상의 문제를 효과적으로 해결할 수 있도록 하였다.

정보보안 관련 스트레스와 개인조직 적합성이 정보보안 지식공유행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Information Security Related Stress and Person-Organization Fit on Knowledge Sharing Behavior)

  • 최근 조직들은 조직원에게 엄격한 정보보안 수준을 요구하고 있다. 엄격한 정보보안 정책 및 기술은 정보보안 관련 스트레스를 유발할 수 있다. 연구 목적은 지식공유행동 및 개인조직 적합성을 감소시키는 정보보안 기술 및 업무스트레스의 부정적 영향을 제시하는 것이다. 연구 대상은 정보보안 정책을 보유한 조직에서 근무하는 조직원이며, 연구가설은 309개의 표본을 활용하여 구조방정식모델링으로 검증한다. 연구 결과, 개인조직적합성이 지식공유행동에 긍정적 영향을 주었으나, 업무스트레스가 부정적 영향을 주었다. 또한, 기술스트레스가 개인조직 적합성에 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 추가적으로, 업무모호성이 개인조직 적합성과 지식공유행동사이에 조절효과를 가졌다. 연구 시사점은 조직원의 정보보안 기술 및 업무 스트레스의 부정적 영향을 확인하였으며, 내부자의 부정적 행동 최소화를 위한 방향을 제시한다.

전류 주입형 방식의 UPFC 모델을 이용한 과도 안정도 해석 (Modeling of Unified Power Flow Controllers Using a Current Injection Method for Transient Stability Analysis)

  • This paper presents a dynamic simulation of the unified power flow controller (UPFC) using a current injection method. Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) devices give more flexibility of control for security and economic operation of power systems. Diffculties of modeling UPFC in the conventional dynamic simulation programs arise from the fact that the injected voltage by the series inverter is superimposed on the shunt inverter side voltage. A solution can be a current injection method, in which a serial part of UPFC is converted to a parallel equivalent circuit using source transformation, and two current sources affect each other at every time step. To verify efficiency of this method, the proposed model is applied for the transient analysis of an example power system.

세션화 방식을 통한 퍼지기반 네트워크 침입탐지시스템 (A Fuzzy-based Network Intrusion Detection System Through sessionization)

  • 인터넷의 광범위한 보급에 따라 컴퓨터를 이용한 불법적인 범죄가 증가하고 있고, 이러한 범죄를 막기 위한 정보보호 기술자체가 국가의 경쟁력이 되어 가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지 논리를 네트워크 침입탐지시스템에 적용하여 보안 전문가와 유사한 결과를 얻을 수 있는 자동화된 퍼지 논리기반의 침입탐지시스템을 제안한다. 프로토콜의 유사성과 시간적인 연속성을 통한 세션화된 패킷분류방식을 통한 퍼지 규칙을 본 시스템에 적용함으로서 다양하고 다변적인 공격패턴으로부터 신속한 침입 판정을 내릴 수 있다. 또한, 대용량의 네트워크 트래픽을 처리해야하는 현재의 네트워크 환경에서, 퍼지추론을 통한 자동화된 트래픽의 프로토콜별/세션별 분석결과를 보여 줌으로써 보안전문가들의 분석 시간과 비용을 절감할 수 있는 장점을 제공한다.

A Study on the Factors Affecting the Establishment of Personal Information Management Systems (PIMS)

  • As the dependence on information is increasing, the protection of personal information (PI) becomes a critical issue for the organizations, causing not only financial loss but also negative impacts on corporate images and reputations. To date, academic research in this area is scarce. This study analyzes the factors affecting the establishment and/or implementation of Personal Information Management System (PIMS) and provides direction for the practice. In this study, we assume that PIMS is one of the new technology adopted by organizations, and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model is selected as a base model for the study. Using structural equation modeling technique, both measurement and structural models are validated, and hypotheses are tested. Major findings of the study include (1) the major driver of the organizations attempting to adopt PIMS seems to be the improvement of the business outcomes, (2) organizational capability and resource are important in the establishment of PIMS, and (3) the perceived difficulty of the establishment of PIMS is not affecting the intention to adopt PIMS. Since the importance of personal information security is high, establishment of PIMS is becoming one of the critical issues in the organizations. The establishment of PIMS should be encouraged to strengthen the competitiveness of businesses and to enhance the security level of the entire nation. It is expected that this study may contribute to developing plans and policies for establishment of PIMS in practice, and to providing a foundation for further research in this area.

Modeling and Control of Integrated STATCOM-SMES System to Improve Power System Oscillations Damping

  • Primary frequency control(PFC) has the ability to regulate short period random variations of frequency during normal operation conditions and also to respond rapidly to emergencies. However, during the past decade, numerous significant sized blackouts occurred worldwide that resulted in serious economic losses. Therefore, the conclusion has been reached that the ability of the current PFC to meet an emergency is poor, and security of power systems should be improved. An alternative to enhance the PFC and thus security is to store excessive amounts of energy during off-peak load periods in efficient energy storage systems for substituting the primary control reserve. In this sense, superconducting magnetic energy storage(SMES) in combination with a static synchronous compensator(STATCOM) is capable of supplying power systems with both active and reactive powers simultaneously and very rapidly, and thus is able to enhance the security dramatically. In this paper, a new concept of PFC based on incorporating a STATCOM-SMES is presented. A complete detailed model is proposed and a new control scheme is designed, comprising an enhanced frequency control scheme, and a fully decoupled current control strategy in d-q coordinates with a novel controller to prevent dc bus capacitors voltage drift/imbalance. The performance of the proposed control schemes is validated through digital simulation carried out using MATLAB/Simulink.
