  • These fields are integrated to visualize and finalize the proposed development, in simulation environment. SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) systems and distributed control systems (DCSs) are widely deployed in all over the world, which are designed to control the industrial infrastructures, in real ways. To supervise and control the various parts of designed systems; trends to require a deep knowledge to understand the overall functional needs of industries, which could be a big challenge. Industrial field devices (or network sensors) are usually distributed in many locations and are controlled from centralized site (or main control center); the communication provides various signs of security issues. To handle these issues, the research contribution will twofold: a method using cryptography is deployed in critical systems for security purposes and overall transmission is controlled from main controller site. At controller site, multimedia components are employed to control the overall transmission graphically, such as system communication, bytes flows, security embedded parameters and others, by the means of multimedia technology.

  • In 2012, Sonwanshi et al. suggested an efficient smar card based remote user authentication scheme using hash function. In this paper, we point out that their scheme is vulnerable to offline password guessing attack, sever impersonation attack, insider attack, and replay attack and it has weakness for session key vulnerability and privacy problem. Furthermore, we propose an improved scheme which resolves security flaws and show that the scheme is more secure and efficient than others.

  • In drone-assisted wireless sensor networks, drones collect data from sensors in an energy-efficient manner and quickly distribute urgent information to sensor nodes. This article introduces recent communication and security schemes for drone-assisted wireless sensor networks. For the communication schemes, we introduce data collection optimization schemes, drone position and movement optimization schemes, and drone flight path optimization schemes. For the security schemes, we introduce authentication and key management schemes, cluster formation schemes, and cluster head election schemes. Then, we present some enhancement methodologies for these communication and security schemes. As a conclusion, we present some interesting future work items.

  • Elderly welfare practitioners study on job performance systems and information security management though important information, including personal information, social services for the elderly extent of protection is insufficient. The elder welfare institution engaged in information security of whether the research was conducted to enhance information security capabilities against How does affect the information security acts as a parameter. The empirical research was conducted by latent mean analysis by gender of workers. As a result of the study, there were differences among the groups according to gender in relation to information security awareness, information security capacity enhancement, and information security behavior. There were gender differences in information security behavior. It has been found that the strengthening of information security has an important influence on information security behavior.

  • US 911 incidents have changed all aviation security system in the world. Especially the US changed all existing system into new one. One of the most fundamental changes is aviation security acts, regulation and several programmes. Based on the new aviation security act enacted in 2001, several code of federal regulations have been amended to strengthen US aviation security system. These regulation also enable new aviation security programmes including several airline and airport security related programmes, K-9 programme, BDO programme and air marshall programmed. All the programmes enables US aviation security improvements. Also the creating of TSA based on the aviation and transportation security act has provided the enhancement of aviation security in US. The purpose of this thesis is studying the change of aviation security system in the US especiatly in terms of aviation security legislation perfective and comparing the system with Korean aviation security legal system and provides possible solution to enhance Korean aviation security legislation and structure.

  • Wireless LANs are being used in many fields due to their ease of use. The biggest advantage of the WLAN can be said above all mobility. Domestic wired internet service has been saturated since 2006, but wireless internet users have been steadily increasing. However, WLAN has many advantages and characteristics of wireless service. It has a number of security vulnerabilities, and various security related technologies have been developed and applied to solve these problems. On the other hand, security awareness of WLAN users is still insufficient, and security accidents such as personal information leakage occur repeatedly every year. We will study the main weaknesses that can occur in WLAN and suggest security measures from the management level.

  • The commercialization of LTE/SAE technologies has begun a new era in which data can be transmitted at remarkably high rates. The security of the LTE/SAE network, however, remains problematic. The forward security in LTE/SAE X2 handover key management can be threatened by key compromise and de-synchronization attacks as base station in public spaces can be compromised. This study was conducted to address the lack of forward key security in X2 handover key management in scenarios in which an adversary controls a legal base station. We developed the proposed X2 handover key management by changing the parameter in the renewing step and adding a verification step. We compare the security and performance of our proposal with other similar schemes. Our enhancement scheme ensures forward separation security accompanied by favorable signal and computation load performance.

  • The purpose of this study is to profile actual conditions of personal information protection systems operated in overseas countries and examine major considerations of personal information that security service providers must know in the capacity of privacy information processor, so that it may contribute to preventing potential occurrence of any legal disputes in advance. Particularly, this study further seeks to describe fundamental idea and principle of said Personal Information Protection Act; enhancement of various safety measures (e.g. collection/use of privacy data, processing of sensitive information/personal ID information, and encryption of privacy information); restrictions on installation/operation of video data processing devices; and penal regulations as a means of countermeasure against leakage of personal information, while proposing possible solutions to cope with these matters. Using cases among foreign countries for this study.

  • The environment of the Internet provides an efficient communication of the things which are connected. While internet and online service provide us many valuable benefits, online services offered and accessed remotely through internet also exposes us to many different types of security threats. Most security threats were just related to information leakage and the loss of authentication on client-server environment. In 2016, Ahmed et al. proposed an efficient lightweight remote user authentication protocol. However, Kang et al. show that it's scheme still unstable and inefficient. It cannot resist offline identity guessing attack and cannot provide session key confirmation property. Moreover, there is some risk of biometric information's recognition error. In this paper, we propose an improved scheme to overcome these security weaknesses by storing secret data in device. In addition, our proposed scheme should provide not only security, but also efficiency since we only use hash function and XOR operation.

  • Organizations and other institutions have recently started using cloud service providers to store and share information in light of the Internet of Things (IoT). The major issues with this storage are preventing unauthorized access and data theft from outside parties. The Block chain based Security Sharing scheme with Data Access Control (BSSDAC) was implemented to improve access control and secure data transaction operations. The goal of this research is to strengthen Data Access Control (DAC) and security in IoT applications. To improve the security of personal data, cypher text-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (CP-ABE) can be developed. The Aquila Optimization Algorithm (AOA) generates keys in the CP-ABE. DAC based on a block chain can be created to maintain the owner's security. The block chain based CP-ABE was developed to maintain secures data storage to sharing. With block chain technology, the data owner is enhancing data security and access management. Finally, a block chain-based solution can be used to secure data and restrict who has access to it. Performance of the suggested method is evaluated after it has been implemented in MATLAB. To compare the proposed method with current practices, Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) are both used.
