해수이차전지는 해수를 양극으로 사용하는 차세대 이차전지이다, 해양 자원을 사용하여 가격 경쟁력과 높은 친환경성, 그리고 해양 애플리케이션에 적합한 구조를 가진다. 이러한 장점을 기반으로 지속적 연구개발을 통해 자연 해수 노출을 가정한 파우치 타입 및 각형 타입이 개발되어 왔다. 그러나 이차전지는 전기적 특성상 사용 환경에 따라 용량 및 내부 임피던스가 달라진다. 이러한 특성은 전지의 수명 예측에 활용될 뿐만 아니라 활용하고자 하는 상황에 맞는 용량과 출력에 직접적인 영향을 미친다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 해수이차전지의 사용 환경에 따른 용량 측정과 SoC-OCV 측정 방법을 통한 내부 저항을 분석하고자 한다.

This paper attempts to discuss the complex nature of social contexts regarding English language education in Korean middle school and to demonstrate the affective factors that should be considered to find appropriate approaches within the context. To do this, a questionnaire survey was conducted among 85 middle school students regarding learners' motivation, and attitudes toward EFL learning. Additionally, teachers in secondary school were asked about the general circumstances of English language education. Findings indicate that in spite of the participants' high instrumental motivation, they rather show a negative attitude toward English learning. This paper intends to raise practitioners' attention to the fact that the effect of learners' affective variables on EFL learning seems distinctive depending on the host country's EFL contexts.

In distillation column control, secondary measurements such as temperatures and flows are widely used in order to infer product composition. This paper addresses the design of static estimators using the secondary measurements for estimating the product compositions of the multicomponent distillation columns. Based on the unified framework for the estimator problems, the relationships among several typical static estimators are discussed including the effect of the measured inputs. Design guidelines for the composition estimator using PLS regression are also presented. The estimator based on the guidelines is robust to sensor noise and has a good predictive power.

It has been known that spray characteristics have an important effect on the mixture formation and directly influence the engine performances and the emissions. Up to now, the measurement of droplet size is well developed such as PDPA and PMAS though the behavior of small droplets during secondary atomization is not clear. Particle image velocimetry(PIV), a planar measuring technique, is a very efficient tool for studying complicated behavior and a fast and reliable method to track numerous droplets during injection. In this study, two-color scanning PIV is designed to obtain quasi-instantaneous two dimensional velocity data by using he-ion laser, rotating mirror and beam splitter. This PIV method which has high temporal and spatial resolution provides the information about the small complex droplet behavior.

The fine blanking is a process of pressworking which makes possible to produce thick sheet metal parts of finished sheared surface and close dimensional accuracy over whole material thickness in single blanki ng operation. Fine blanked parts in general are characterized by their cleanly sheared surface over the whole sock thickness and accurate size for the specific functions. The fine blanking technology is urgently needed to remove secondary operations which are necessary in conventional blanking operation and cost reduction. In this study, the effect of material texture and vee-ring on parts for automobile is investigated by experimental observation and analysis.

On the basis of theoretical studies on the effect of the cylinders attached to semi-infinite screens, the tangential sound power-transport parallel to the surface of the attached cylinder is minimized by means of a secondary sound field, which is generated from a part of the attached cylinder. The numerical study shows the possibility of deflecting the incident sound by minimizing the sound field of the upper sections. The acoustical shadow region was more pronounced in both near- and far-field compared to the passive case with rigid surface, i.e. without active control. For a relatively wide frequency range it was possible to enhance shielding effects only with few secondary sources and error microphones. In this paper effects of control parameters on the actively controlled sound field near the top edge of noise barriers are studied. Results of numerical study and model measurements are shown and discussed.

The MIDLOOP code has been developed for the evaluation of RES pressurization transients initiated from a loss-of-Residual Heat Removal System (RHRS) during mid-loop operation after reactor shutdown. It provides a fast running and realistic tool for studying parametrically the response of important plant parameters such as pressure, temperature, and level to various plant combinations of the primary side vent, makeup, and leakage procedures and the steam generator (SG) conditions. The code consists of ten nodes representing the primary and secondary sides of a nuclear power plant and can analyze the effect of air on the primary system pressurization and primary to secondary heat transfer. The analysis results of the MIDLOOP code are in good agreement with the ROSA-IV/LSTF experiment without opening in the RCS.

The gene coding for APG8a (At4g21980), a protein from Arabidopsis thaliana, is involved in the autophagy process. The protein is an interesting candidate for structure determination by NMR spectroscopy. Toward this end, APG8a has been produced recombinantly in Escherichia coli and typical NMR experiments such as $^{15}N-HSQC$, HNCA, HN(CO)CA, CBCA(CO)NH, HCCH-TOCSY, HNCO were performed. The backbone resonances, HN, N, CA, CB, and C' were sequence-specifically assigned, and the secondary structures including 3 $\alpha$ helices and $4\beta$ strands were deduced based on the assignments. Due to the intrinsic flexibility or the effect of the denaturant, the backbone resonances were not fully observed. Since the structure calculation by NMR data was not possible, the 3-dimensional model was built based on the sequence homology, and compared with the NMR results. The overall structure of the model could explain and complement the NMR derived secondary structures.

In distribution system about 5% of total outage is due to the lightning stroke. In order to reduce the rate of outage occurrence, distribution lightning protection equipments such as a secondary arrester, arching horn and various ground electrodes are developed and installed in the inside and outside of the county. Therefore it is needed to construct the test facilities to analyze the effect of these equipments. In this paper we describe the main content of the test facilities of lightning protection equipments. We have completed the field test of distribution lightning protection equipments for example lightning arrester, secondary arrester and arching horn etc.

This paper presents a position control system for a linear induction motor(LIM) with cage-type secondary using direct thrust control(DTC). The position controller, that combines the merits of integral-proportional(IP) speed control, is designed for the LIM. The actual position of the LIM is defected by the linear scale the resolution of 100. Thrust correction coefficient due to the end effect of the LIM is utilized in estimating actual thrust. As a result, responses of the position, speed, thrust, and flux are shown.
