  • dth-order power analysis can safely be defended by dth-order masking method. However, as the degree of applied masking method increases, it can significantly decrease effectiveness of cryptosystem. The existing statistical analysis on high-order power analysis contains only analysis on second power analysis. However, this means absent of safety standards when crypto engineers apply 3rd or more order masking. this absent of standards can lead to insignificant usage of masking method which can significantly decrease effectiveness of cryptosystem. In this dissertation, we have generalize statistical values on high-order power analysis to establish these standards. In other words, we have generalized the value of a correlation coefficient when calculation of high-order power analysis methods are performed. That is to say, it can greatly be used to indicate a degrees that can be applied on further usage of masking method.

  • Quantitative strucrure-activity relationships between the toxicity (LD$\_$50/) and molecular properties of amine and nitro compounds were tested. The all 19 compounds showed low correlations below 0.500 to their LD$\_$50/ values. When amine or nitro compounds were taken separately, the correlation between the calculated chemphysico parameters and LD$\_$50/ were also poor (r$^2$=0.4911, 3967 repectively). The overall relationships among the QSAR parameters were investigated. Molecular weight shows a high correlation with total surface area (r$^2$=0.9287); 0.9090 for zero-order connectivity and second-order connectivity : 0.8784 for bioconcentration factor and second-order connectivity. When amine compounds were taken to perform the statistical treatment, the relationships between parameters were as follows: 0.8436 for volume-negentropy; 0.8925 for volume-bioconcentration factor; 0.9929 for zero-order connectivity-Kow; zero-order connectivity-bioconcentration factor; 0.9141 for zero-order connectivity-solubility; 0.9718 for solubility-bioconcentration factor; 0.9894 for solubility-bioconcentration factor and 0.9319 for Kow-bioconcentration factor. On the other hand, nitro compounds showed different relationships as follows: 0.8952 for volume-I/O character; 0.9520 for volume-total surface area: 0.9351 for volume-molecular weight; 0.9351 for volume-MW; 0.9961 for Kow-Koc; 0.8455 for Kow-bioconcentration factor; 0.8879 for Koc-bioconcentration factor; 0.9987 for MW-total surface area respectively.

  • In order to improve the efficiency of optimizing compilers, integration of register allocation and instruction scheduling has been extensively studied. One of the promising integration techniques is register allocation based on register-reuse chains. However, the generation of register-reuse chains in the previous approach was not completely systematic and consequently it creates unnecessarily dependencies that restrict instruction scheduling. This paper proposes a new register allocation technique based on a systematic generation of register-reuse chains. The first phase of the proposed technique is to generate register-reuse chains that are optimal in the sense that no additional dependencies are created. Thus, register allocation can be done without restricting instruction scheduling. For the case when the optimal register-reuse chains require more than available registers, the second phase reduces the number of required registers by merging the register-reuse chains. Chain merging always generates additional dependencies and consequently enforces the execution order of instructions. A heuristic is developed for the second phase in order to reduce additional dependencies created by merging chains. For matrix multiplication program, the number of registers resulting from the first phase is small enough to fit into available registers for most basic blocks. In addition, it is shown that the restriction to instruction scheduling is reduced by the proposed merging heuristic of the second phase.

  • Logistics industry is being an important industry in Vietnam with the contribution from 8-10% of GDP recently. This industry employs about 15 millions people. Increasing the employees' job satisfaction is become one of the most concerns of managers in logistics companies to strengthen the employee engagement and improve their business performance. The aim of this study is to investigate how employees' perceptions of job satisfaction are influenced by factors such as job stress, leadership capability, work-life balance, and demographics. 426 workers in the logistics sector in Vietnam were surveyed online. The acquired data was analyzed using a structural equation model. In total 16 hypotheses were established, 13 of which were deemed to be significant. The results demonstrate how the literature-informed second-order constructs can potentially explain the overall job stress, leadership capability, and work-life balance of employees in the Vietnamese logistics industry. These variables account for 54.8% of job satisfaction. This study makes a theoretical contribution to the extant literature by showing how researching second-order constructs can improve the theory's capacity to predict employees' job satisfaction. The paper concludes with a set of recommendations for the management of logistics firms in Vietnam.

  • Carboxylated multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs-COOH) have been used as efficient adsorbents for the removal of picric acid from aqueous solutions under stirring and ultrasound conditions. Batch experiments were conducted to study the influence of the different parameters such as pH, amount of adsorbents, contact time and concentration of picric acid on the adsorption process. The kinetic data were fitted with pseudo-first order, pseudo-second-order, Elovich and intra-particle diffusion models. The kinetic studies were well described by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model for both methods. In addition, the adsorption isotherms of picric acid from aqueous solutions on the MWCNTs were investigated using six two-parameter models (Langmuir, Freundlich, Tempkin, Halsey, Harkins-Jura, Fowler-Guggenheim), four three-parameter models (Redlich-Peterson, Khan, Radke-Prausnitz, and Toth), two four-parameter equations (Fritz-Schlunder and Baudu) and one five-parameter equation (Fritz-Schlunder). Three error analysis methods, correlation coefficient, chi-square test and average relative errors, were applied to determine the best fit isotherm. The error analysis showed that the models with more than two parameters better described the picric acid sorption data compared to the two-parameter models. In particular, the Baudu equation provided the best model for the picric acid sorption data for both methods.

  • The objective of this work is to develop the capability to analyze accurately the mixed-mode propagation of a crack in composite structures with elastic orthotropic material stiffness properties and anisotropic material strength characteristics. In order to develop the capability to fully analyze fracture growth and failure in anisotropic structures, we examined the fundamental problem of mixed mode fracture by carrying out the analysis on orthotropic materials with an inclined crack subject to biaxial loading. Our goal here is to include an additional term in the asymptotic expansion of the crack tip stress field and to show that the direction of crack initiation can be significantly affected by that term. We employ the normal stress ratio theory to predict the direction of crack extension. It is shown that the angle of crack extension can be altered by horizontal loads and the use of second order term in the series expansion is important f3r the accurate determination of crack growth direction.

  • The present work is concerned with heat and mass transfer of an electrically conducting second grade MHD fluid past a semi-infinite stretching sheet with convective surface heat flux. The analysis accounts for thermophoresis and thermal radiation. A similarity transformations is used to reduce the governing equations into a dimensionless form. The local similarity equations are derived and solved using Nachtsheim-Swigert shooting iteration technique together with Runge-Kutta sixth order integration scheme. Results for various flow characteristics are presented through graphs and tables delineating the effect of various parameters characterizing the flow. Our analysis explores that the rate of heat transfer enhances with increasing the values of the surface convection parameter. Also the fluid velocity and temperature in the boundary layer region rise significantly for increasing the values of thermal radiation parameter.

  • The thermodynamic second law analysis, which means available energy or exergy analysis, for the indicated performance of Otto cycle engine has been carried out. Each operating process of the engine is simplified and modeled into the thermodynamic cycle. The calculation of the lost work and exergy through each process has been done with the thermodynamic relations and experimental data. The experimental data were measured from the test of single cylinder Otto cycle engine which operated at 2500 rpm, WOT(Wide Open Throttle) and MBT(Minimum advanced spark timing for Best Torque) condition with different fuels: gasoline, methanol and mixture of butane-methanol called M90. Experimental data such as cylinder pressure, air and fuel flow rate, exhaust gas temperature, inlet gas temperature and etc. were used for the analysis. The proposed model and procedure of the analysis are verified through the comparison of the work done in the study with experimental results. The calculated results show that the greatest lost work is generated during combustion process. And the lost work during expansion, exhaust, compression and induction process follows in order.

  • This study examined the effects of platforms' attributes(economy, convenience, ease of use, and security) on perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment, trust, and the continuance intention to use. Data were collected through a survey conducted with 327 users of second-hand luxury goods trading platforms in their twenties and thirties; 300 were used for statistical analysis using SPSS26.0 for exploratory factor analysis and correlation analysis, and AMOS 26.0 for confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. For the attributes of second-hand luxury goods trading platforms, four factors were extracted: economy, convenience, ease of use and security. The results showed that only the security of second-hand luxury goods platforms had a positive effect on the perceived usefulness of the platform, but other attributes did not influence perceived usefulness. In contrast, all attributes of the platform showed positive effects on perceived enjoyment. Perceived enjoyment had a strong effect on trust; however, perceived usefulness did not affect trust. The continuance intention to use the platforms was most influenced by perceived usefulness, trust, and perceived enjoyment, in that order. The current findings can help marketers of second-hand luxury goods platforms optimize the platforms' attributes based on the marketing objectives and develop strategies to build perceived usefulness and enjoyment first, and in turn, trust and intention to use.

  • This paper presents the method of improving second order intermodulation distortion(IMD2) and dc-offset problems in down-conversion mixer. A simple analysis reveals the IMD2 and dc-offset can be eliminated by controlling the duty cycles of local oscillator(LO) inputs. A mixer with the proposed method has been simulated with a $0.13{\mu}m$ RF CMOS technology with 5% mismatch in the load resistance, the mixer shows 2.04dBm IIP2 and 22mnV input referred DC-offset. By controlling two duty cycles of LO inputs, IIP2 and DC-offset can be improved to 38.8dBm and $777{\mu}V$, respectively.
