  • This study developed HanScript, which is an educational Hangul programming language, in order to make programs easily and conveniently and applied it to the school fields. To evaluate HanScript, additionally, the researcher divided the properties of educational programming languages into easiness to read, easiness to write and easiness to debug and, based on them, compared HanScript with Visual Basic. According to the result, HanScript was expressed in Korean language style, so was easier to read and debug than Visual Basic. But it was not different from Visual Basic in debugging. Due to fewer libraries compared to Visual Basic, however, it was difficult to implement complex functions using HanScript. In addition, HanScript did not include an editor to edit source codes. Thus, if HanScript is equipped with rich libraries, detailed debugging information and an editor for source code edition, it will be a useful educational programming language.

  • Web programming courses are often included in university Computer Science programs as introductory and foundational computer programming courses. However, amateur programmers often have difficulty learning how to integrate HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various preprocessors or libraries to create websites. Additionally, many web programming mistakes do not produce visible output in the browser. Therefore, in recent years, Front-End Code Playground (FECP) tools that incorporate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript into a single, online web-based application have become popular. These tools allow web coding to happen directly in the browser and provide immediate visual feedback to users. Such immediate visual feedback can be particularly beneficial for amateur coders to learn and practice with. Therefore, this study gathers data on various FECP tools, compares their differences, and provides an analysis of how such tools benefit students. This study concludes with an outline of the application of FECP to web programming courses to enhance the learning experience.

  • It is the latest fashion of interesting with software education in public school environment and also consider as high priority issue of curriculum for college freshman with programming 101 courses. The block-based programming tool is used widely for the beginner and provides several positive features compare than text-based programming language tools. To measure quality of programming code elaborately which is based script language, it is need to very tough manual process. As a result the previously research related with evaluation of block-based script code has been focused very simple methods in which normalize the number of blocks used which is related with programming concept. In such cases in this, it is difficult to measure structural vulnerability of script code and implicit programming concept which does not expose. In this research, the framework is proposed which enable to measure and evaluate quality of code script of block-based programming tools and also provides method to find of vulnerability of script code. In this framework, the quality metrics is constructed to structuralize implicit programming concept and then developed the quality measure and vulnerability model of script to improve level of programming. Consequently, the proposed methods enable to check of level of programming and predict the heuristic target level.

  • It has been important of a web programming education with the rapid development of the internet. The learning system for the web programming education needs that develops web programming and can check the results on the web. In this paper. I suggested the learning system that can confirm the editable script result on the web client-side languages as well as server-side languages. The reference scripts that refer the web elements to study the web language make a database with an hierarchical structure. The reference script database enhances the utility of the script as managing the database system. The reference scripts can verify the results with the editable state that the structure of the web documents is altered and the elements, attributes, attributes's values of web languages is changed. The reference script tests can ascertain the adaption of it with the frame test and the window test.

  • Recently, the internet of things (IoT) has become increasingly attractive in many areas to realize smart worlds. JavaScript has become prevalent for IoT programming because of its familiarity with web programmers. On the other hand, JavaScript does not allow the direct control of IoT hardware due to its language limitation. This paper proposes the IoT software platform for JavaScript programming to resolve the limitation. For proof of concept, the platform based on SpiderMonkey and Raspberry Pi was implemented.

  • Numerous digital image analysis techniques have been developed with regard to transmission electron microscopy (TEM) with the help of programming. DigitalMicrograph (DM, Gatan Inc., USA), which is installed on most TEMs as operational software, includes a script language to develop customized software for image analysis. Based on the DM script language, this work provides a script source listing for quantitative strain measurements based on a geometric phase analysis.

  • In this paper, we design and implement a web-based courseware where learners can do self-directed learning to study Web programming languages such as Html, CSS, JavaScript and Dhtml. Each section consists of text class, movie class, practice class, formative assessment, laboratory and bulletin board. And our courseware makes teachers to teach, assess and give scores to learners on Web. In our Web courseware, learners can play a movie class and practice Web programming codes in one screen simultaneously, and execute codes and confirm a results in the same screen also. Therefore, learners can understand Web programming languages efficiently, which are hard to understand immediately by text.

  • A programming model for ubiquitous sensor network (USN) applications based on Nano-Qplus is proposed. USN applications mean programs of nodes which are components of sensor network such as sensor, router, sink and actuator. Developers can automatically generate programs of USN applications by setting attributes values of nodes using a script after they model a sensor network. A script for setting attributes values of a node is proposed in this paper. The algorithm of automatic code generation is also described. Developers can easily implement USN applications even if they do not know details of low-level communication, data sharing, and collective operations because the applications are automatically generated from a script. They set only attributes values of nodes using the script. Efforts for USN applications development also are reduced because of automatic code generation. Furthermore, developers can correct errors of applications in the early stage of development through ear]y test based on rapid code generation.

  • Advances in the technology of computational design are giving architects and engineers the opportunity to analyze buildings with complex geometries. This study explores the optimization and automation process using the parametric design method, and uses digital tools to achieve surface representation and panelization for curved shaped office buildings. In this paper, we propose parametric algorithms of dimensional and geometric constraints using the Knowledge-ware scripts embedded in Gehry Technologies' Digital Project. The knowledge-based design methods proposed in this study can be used to systemize the knowledge possessed by experts in the form of data. Such knowledge is required to promote collaboration between designers and engineers in the process of CAD/CAE/CAM. The aim of this study is to integrate the process into design, which establishes an integrated process. This integration enables two-way feedback between design and construction data by combining the methods used in designing, engineering, and construction.

  • Recently, in the Game industries, they are increasing to use of game engines to reduce the development cost of 3D content and software. In particular, Unreal Engine provides a blueprint visual scripting function that enables software production without programming (coding). Although High-end video content can be produced, the problem is that content development is complicated and requires advanced manpower. To solve this problem, we propose an optimized VR game context process. This is because 1) a Blueprint visual script is used, 2) VR games with various interactions can be produced, 3) Non-majors in the software field (or groups) can develop advanced content. In various related industries such as defense, medical care, manufacturing, and construction, we may easily develop any game content without programming with our refined VR rhythm action game development process. We expect to reduce the development cost with the process advantages in the game industries.
