무빙 포스터 디자인을 구성하는 요소 연구 (A Study on the Elements of Moving Poster Design)

  • This study analyzed the factors consisting moving poster design. In order to analyze the elements of moving poster, the researcher reorganized the elements of moving posters by referring to the previous studies on printed posters, motion graphics and works of moving posters. In this study, moving poster components were classified into 'communication', 'visual and form', and 'sound'. In 'communication' section, moving posters had narrative elements, including scenes, because of the time and movement added by the poster's original function. The 'visual and form' section was classified into graphics, layouts, movement, and time. Graphics refered to various graphic objects constituting the screen such as photo, illustration, typography, color, diagram. Layout means screen layout, size, and orientation of the screen. Movement section was divided into 'subject of movement' and 'attributes of movement'. Time was classified physical time such as playing time and subjective time felt by the audience. Also, the researcher categorized 'sound' as an additional section, since most moving posters did not include sound.

칼라 CRT 모니터의 misconvergence에 따른 분해능 평가 (Effect of misconvergence on resolution of color CRT monitor)

  • 칼라 CTR(cathode ray tube) 모니터의 빔 전류와 화면위치를 변화시키면서 misconvergence, 스폿 크기, 디스플레이 휘도, 색도 좌표를 측정하였다. 일차원 CCD(charge coupled device)를 사용하여 misconvergence를 측정하였으며, 시감효과를 고려하는 SQRI(square-root integrals)를 도입하여 분해능을 나타내었다. 모니터의 miscovergence는 빔 전류에 영향을 받지 않고 화면의 위치에 따라 변하였으며, 화면 주변부에서의 misconvergence는 분해능을 저하시켰다.

사용자 만족도를 고려한 터치 버튼 사이즈에 대한 연구 (A User Satisfaction Based Touch Button Design)

  • This study has been conducted on touch screen interface design for mobile devices. It was intended to measure user’s satisfaction on one-handed thumb input mobile devices. Recent studies proposed the optimal touch button size, but it is inappropriate for mobile devices. Therefore, this study was focused on four touch key factors-width, height, the horizontal and vertical distance between touch keys-as independent variables. The ANOVA results showed that the user satisfaction of four touch key factors was significantly affected by the thumb input. It also apparent that the interactions between four factors were significant. As a result, the horizontal and vertical distance as well as the width and height affected the satisfaction of users. In addition, this study suggested satisfaction models which represent the top 30%, 50%, 70% of user satisfaction measurement. The results of this study could be used to design touch keys that are able to enhance the usability on touch screen based mobile devices.

  • 비정상방법을 사용하여 스테인레스강과 황동으로 만들어진 여러가지의 집강형 축열재의 대류열전달에 대한 실험결과를 구하였다. 열전달계수에 대한 재질, 메시의 크기, 및 강의 영향은 찾아 볼 수 없었다. 레이놀즈수가 60에서 1000까지의 범위에서 집강형 축열재로부터의 대류열전달을 나타내는 무차원의 보험식을 구하였다.

Breast Screening and Breast Cancer Survival in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women of Australia

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people comprise about 2.5% of the Australian population. Cancer registry data indicate that their breast cancer survivals are lower than for other women but the completeness and accuracy of Indigenous descriptors on registries are uncertain. We followed women receiving mammography screening in BreastScreen to determine differences in screening experiences and survivals from breast cancer by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status, as recorded by BreastScreen. This status is self-reported and used in BreastScreen accreditation, and is considered to be more accurate. The study included breast cancers diagnosed during the period of screening and after leaving the screening program. Design: Least square regression models were used to compare screening experiences and outcomes adjusted for age, geographic remoteness, socio-economic disadvantage, screening period and round during 1996-2005. Survival of breast cancer patients from all causes and from breast cancer specifically was compared for the 1991-2006 diagnostic period using linked cancer-registry data. Cox proportional hazards regression was used to adjust for socio-demographic differences, screening period, and where available, tumour size, nodal status and proximity of diagnosis to time of screen. Results: After adjustment for socio-demographic differences and screening period, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women participated less frequently than other women in screening and re-screening although this difference appeared to be diminishing; were less likely to attend post-screening assessment within the recommended 28 days if recalled for assessment; had an elevated ductal carcinoma in situ but not invasive cancer detection rate; had larger breast cancers; and were more likely than other women to be treated by mastectomy than complete local excision. Linked cancer registry data indicated that five-year year survivals of breast cancer cases from all causes of death were 81% for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, compared with 90% for other women, and that the former had larger breast cancers that were more likely to have nodal spread at diagnosis. After adjusting for socio-demographic factors, tumour size, nodal spread and time from last screen to diagnosis, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women had approximately twice the risk of death from breast cancer as other women. Conclusions: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have less favourable screening experiences and those diagnosed with breast cancer (either during the screening period or after leaving the screening program) have lower survivals that persist after adjustment for socio-demographic differences, tumour size and nodal status.

스마트기기를 통한 동영상 시청 환경에서 기기 이용 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Attitude to Use Devices in Watching Video through Smart Devices)

  • 스마트기기의 대중적인 보급은 사람들의 사회활동 전반에 많은 변화를 가져왔다. 특히, 사람들은 동영상 시청 등 여가 생활에 다양한 종류의 스마트기기를 활용하고 있지만, 이러한 기기 이용 태도에 영향을 미치는 외부 요인에 관한 연구는 부족한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기술수용모델에 기반하여 동영상 시청 환경 요인(예. 화면 크기 및 동영상 길이)과 개인적 성향 요인(예. 성별 및 엔터테인먼트 욕구)이 지각된 사용 용이성, 지각된 유용성, 이용 태도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 다른 스마트기기를 사용하는 660명의 이용자를 대상으로 분석한 결과, 스마트기기 화면이 커질수록 이용 태도가 긍정적으로 형성되었지만, 성별에 따라서는 그 차이점이 나타나지 않았다. 동영상의 길이 또한 이용 태도에 영향을 미치지 않았지만, 엔터테인먼트 욕구는 이용 태도에 긍정적으로 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 동영상 시청 환경 요인과 개인적 성향 요인을 고려하여 제품 개발과 영상 콘텐츠 제작을 통합한 최적화된 고객 마케팅 및 경영 전략에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

U-기반 단말기를 위한 지적전산파일의 설계 (A Design of Cadastral Electronic Files for Ubiquitous-based Teminal)

  • 유비쿼터스 기반 단말기에서 GIS 데이터 처리를 하기 위해서는 CPU 처리능력, 저장공간, 화면크기, 네트워크 등의 제약이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 기존의 연구결과를 개선하여 지적전산파일을 새롭게 디자인 하였다. 지적전산파일은 단순히 파일 형태로 구성되어 있어 화면에 출력하거나 지리정보 객체에 접근할 때 파일 전체를 읽어야 하는 불편함이 있다. 따라서 인덱스 파일을 추가하여 객체의 접근속도를 개선하고, 출력 속도를 증가시켰다. 결과적으로, 포맷 변환시 원본 데이터의 27.6%의 용량만을 가지며 기존 포맷보다 개선된 포맷을 얻을 수 있었다.

스크린 인쇄와 리버스 오프셋 인쇄를 혼합한 대면적 미세 전극용 인쇄공정 (A Printing Process Combining Screen Printing with Reverse Off-set for a Fine Patterning of Electrodes on Large Area Substrate)

  • In this paper a printing process for patterning electrodes on large area substrate was developed by combining screen printing with reverse off-set printing. Ag ink was uniformly coated by screen printing. And then etching resist (ER) was patterned in the Ag film by reverse off-set printing, and then the non-desired Ag film was etched off by etchant. Finally, the ER was stripped-off to obtain the final Ag patterns. We extracted the suitable conditions of reverse Using the process we successfully fabricated gate electrodes and scan bus lines of OTFT-backplane used for e-paper, in which the diagonal size was 6 inch, the resolution $320{\times}240$, the minimum line width 30 um, and sheet resistance 1 ${\Omega}/{\Box}$.

  • The main problem of image projection on a transmission type holographic screen is color sepa-ration. And it can be overcome by using a long narrow slit type diffuser as a source of the object beam when we record the screen. But that screen is not optimized and so needs changing several conditions. To set up the system many complicate things should be taken into accounted so it is very important to analyze the basic structure by simple concepts and calculations. We designed the system so that recording and projection axis coincide in one line and showed that the analysis of the system is very simple. We did it by a 1st order paraxial approximation calculation and it was good enough to describe the system. The photo-emulsion layer shrinks after processing of the hologram. It induced unsatisfactory color matching at the viewing zone. To overcome this effect, we pre-checked the shrinkage rate of an emulsion layer by experiments and modified the recording set up to compensate for the amount of shrinkage.

  • As the size of chip components and module decreases, new patteming method for fine line and geometry is needed. So far, in LTCC(Low Temperature Cofired Ceramic) process, screen printing method has been used generally. But screen printing method has some disadvantages as follows. First, the geometry including line, vias, etc. smaller than $100{\mu}m$ can't be evaluated easily. Second, the patterned dimension is different from designed value, which makes distortion in charactersitics of not only chip components but also modules. Thick film lithography has advantages of thick film screen printing process, low cost and thin film process, fine line feasibility. Using this method, the line with $30{\mu}m$ width and the geometry with expected dimension can be evaluated. In this study, the fine line with $35{\mu}m$ line/space is formed and the embedded capacitor with very small tolerance is developed using thick film lithography.
