  • The hydro-elastic system consisting of a pre-stretched highly elastic plate, compressible Newtonian viscous fluid, and the rigid wall is considered and it is assumed that on the plate a lineal-located time-harmonic force acts. It is required to investigate the dynamic behavior of this system and determine how the problem parameters and especially the pre-straining of the plate acts on this behavior. The elasticity relations of the plate are described through the harmonic potential and linearized (with respect to perturbations caused by external time-harmonic force) form of these relations is used in the present investigation. The plane-strain state in the plate is considered and the motion of that is described within the scope of the three-dimensional linearized equations of elastic waves in elastic bodies with initial stresses. The motion of the fluid is described by the linearized Navier-Stokes equations and it is considered the plane-parallel flow of this fluid. The Fourier transform with respect to the space coordinate is applied for a solution to the corresponding boundary-value problem. Numerical results on the frequency response of the interface normal stress and normal velocity and the influence of the initial stretching of the plate on this response are presented and discussed. In particular, it is established that the initial stretching of the plate can decrease significantly the absolute values of the aforementioned quantities.

  • Recently, the art of the Latin America Culture is being actively introduced into our country. Many concepts in the fashion field contain Latin American culture and their influence is growing. This present study, based on a correct understanding of and research on Latin American culture, is an attempt to expand the expression of fashion design and explore the use of works of art in fashion. The case study is on Frida Kahlo (1907~1954), who was a Mexican woman painter who gives us some inspiration in contemporary fashion design. The scope of this case study investigates the Haute couture and the Pr$\hat{e}$t-$\grave{a}$-porter women's wear collections and photos from 1998 to 2009 which were greatly influenced by Frida Kahlo and analyzes through the formative elements of dress, color, form, pattern and material. Frida Kahlo was a painter whose composition of surrealism held the world of life and death, pain and pleasure, love and parting, thought and freedom, and tradition and modern, etc. As a design inspiration, her influence reaches into accessories, and hairstyles, as well as the Pr$\hat{e}$t-$\grave{a}$-porter. This current study for the correct understanding of the new culture and the introduction of art into the fashion design might be helpful in making fashion a work of art and in extending the expression of the fashion design concept which is based on commercial art.

  • This study investigates the potential components for academic research collaboration, and the factors that make it possible to achieve higher academic productivity. The components include collaboration factors and a collaboration model. We use two major collaboration factors to develop a framework for understanding the mechanisms that influence academic research collaborations: motivational factors and mediating factors. Motivational factors include self-motivation and trust whereas mediating factors are collaboration orientation and peer support. We analyze the effect for use of e-collaboration with research performance, reward, and satisfaction with e-research output. A survey of academicians was conducted, and by using the factor analysis and the structural equation model with SPSS 20 AMOS, we illustrate the possible influence of these factors on research performance and satisfaction. We discovered that both motivational and mediating factors play important roles on the success of academic research. This study offers several implications for academicians. We develop a parsimonious research model, which is related to e-collaboration in academic research. This unique model offers academicians to achieve good publication output from the research team. The motivational factor, self-motivation and trust, are important factors which has received positive impact of mediating factor collaboration orientation and peer support. Our research sheds light on the crucial factors for use of e-collaboration which offer the ultimate effect on performance and satisfaction with e-research output. Satisfaction motivates people to work more and more on the field of their interest, thereby influencing the performance of academicians. Rewards should be distributed according to performance of the individual, which will motivate the person to become more enthusiastic for his work of interest. Our evidence suggests that in understating the collaborative process, one must account for the context in which the collaboration occurs, the motivation of the collaborators, the scope and nature of the project, the roles and activities undertaken, and interpersonal processes such as trust. Researchers' motivations for engaging in collaboration were both instrumental and intrinsic.

  • With the continuous progress and development of the social economy, the importance of commodity packaging is increasingly manifested. It has become an important form of communication between businesses and consumers, and an important means of competition between businesses. The research scope of the thesis: First, through literature investigation, analyze the function of packaging design and consumers' buying attitude, and analyze the name, color, logo, illustration, etc. for general chocolate packaging and travel souvenir chocolate packaging. Research method: Through questionnaire survey, according to consumers' purchasing attitude and personal value of package design, we have in-depth understanding of consumers' purchasing power and package design's influence on purchasing conditions and research. According to the results of this study, first, from the perspective of general chocolate packaging and travel souvenir chocolate packaging to consumer consumption phenomena, general chocolate is more popular. Second, when consumers buy products, the taste of chocolate is more important than product packaging design. Third, in each product group, consumers value their own value when buying chocolate products. Fourth, due to the two important attributes of packaging design and taste, ordinary chocolate has a higher purchase intention than travel souvenir chocolate.

  • The analysis of the tourist industry in relation to the general industries is of high use as a means to measure an economic effectiveness as the interest in the policy of service industry increases. From the Input-Output Tables of both 2007 and 2008, Inverse Matrix Coefficients, Imports Requirement Coefficients, and Value Added Requirement Coefficients have been derived. As a result of analysis, the main indexes of the industry-related analysis have almost no differences as compared with those of the 1980s. In spite of the reduction in the scope of the tourist industry in this paper, it is estimated that the reason why the above-mentioned result has been derived is that the influence of today's tourist industry grows bigger than that of the past. In the future studies, the agreement on the classification of tourist industry is requested. In addition, all kinds of calculations have to be derived in general, and the general parts of the tourist industry have to be analyzed in details.

  • This study conducted a qualitative research based on interviews with school teachers and instructors operating external activities about how the management of one's own appearance influence the changes in subjective happiness and self-esteem by focusing on maladjusted students of two alternative schools and ordinary middle and high schools in Gyeongsangnam-do province. Happiness refers to a positive emotion that can be felt continuously throughout life such as life satisfaction, good experience, and positive way of thinking. The sense of happiness is the satisfaction that one feels by interpreting and evaluating his or her experience in a positive way and can be defined as the positive emotions that can be felt when one perceives and uses the strengths and resources that he or she has. Although the self-esteem is formed, changed, and developed throughout life, the self-awareness and self-evaluation develop more actively than other stages of development particularly in adolescence, and the adolescents with low self-esteem are faced with more serious behavioral, scholastic, and psychological issues. I hope the results of this study not only help current adolescents at risk to improve their self-esteem but also become a chance to see the issue of adolescents at risk as a part of social issue instead of limiting the issue as personal or domestic issue by expanding the application scope of the results to adolescents in middle schools and high schools who have the potential of going astray in order to approach the issue on the level of the entire society.

  • Purpose: This study aims to explore how consumers respond to the immoral actions of a CEO. More specifically, this research focuses on the moral reasoning processes used by consumers in order to maintain support for the CEO despite the immoral action. In addition, this research suggests that support for the CEO would improve product purchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology: To test the hypotheses presented, an online research company was hired and online survey was conducted with adult participants. Online research company sent an email to the potential subjects asking their participation in an online survey. Subjects were able to participate in the online survey by clicking a link to the survey. When the participants clicked the link, they were instructed to read a fictitious newspaper article on a CEO's immoral action. And then, they were asked to answer several questions online. Responses were obtained from 336 adults participants and data were analyzed using SPSS Hayes Macro for a moderation effect and AMOS for a structural equation model. Result: Moral reasoning processes were divided into moral decoupling and moral rationalization and analyzed to determine their influence on product purchase. Also in this study, we suggest the public self-consciousness of consumers as an antecedent of moral reasoning processes, and argue that consumers with high public self-consciousness are more likely to engage in moral decoupling than moral rationalization. Conclusions: Our results showed that moral decoupling and moral rationalization improved the consumer's perception of corporate ethicality, which increased product purchase intention. In addition, consumers with high public self-consciousness were more likely to engage in moral decoupling than in moral rationalization. In addition, this research suggested that severity of the scandal would moderate the impact of public self-consciousness on moral decoupling. However, this hypothesis was not supported statistically since most participants perceived the scandal to be a highly severe incident, that may lead to an insignificant interaction effect between severity of the scandal and public self-consciousness. This research expands the scope of available research on corporate ethics and consumer responses to negative information involving celebrities and provides practical implications for corporate crisis management.

  • This study tries to explain customer experience in retail stores from a holistic perspective including hedonic, economic, symbolic, and relational dimensions. We also attempt to empirically investigate the effect of each dimension of customer experience on the store attitude and store attachment and the differential influence of the store attitude and attachment on the commitment toward store. The major findings from empirical analysis are as follows. First, all four dimensions of customer experience positively impact on the store attitude. Second, symbolic and relational dimensions of customer experience have a positive effect on the store attachment while hedonic and economic dimensions don't. Third, the store attachment more positively influence the commitment toward store than the store attitude do. This paper extends the scope of the study on consumer experience in retail setting by broadening the dimensions of it and testing the differential effect of each dimensions empirically. The results of this research can provide useful implications for practitioners to build successful strategies on customer experience management in retail stores.
