셀프리더십이 진로결정 자기효능감 및 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향 - 조리전공 대학생을 중심으로 - (The Effects of Self-Leadership on Career Decision-making Self-efficacy and Career Preparation Behavior - Focused on Culinary Major Students -)

  • 본 연구는 조리전공 대학생들의 셀프리더십이 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로준비행동과의 영향관계를 분석하기 위해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 data는 SPSS 16.0 Version 통계 패키지 프로그램을 활용하여, 빈도분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였고, 다양한 결과들을 도출하였다. 첫째, 모든 셀프리더십의 하위요인(행동준비전략, 자연보상 및 건설적 사고전략)은 진로결정 자기효능감의 하위요인(직업정보, 목표설정, 계획수립, 문제해결, 자기평가)에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 모든 셀프리더십 하위요인은 진로준비행동 하위요인(진로탐색활동, 목표달성활동)에 정(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로, 조리전공 대학생들의 셀프리더십의 강화는 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로준비행동으로 발전에 매우 중요하다는 것을 확인하였다.

치위생학과 학생의 사회 진출을 모색하기 위한 특성화 교육프로그램의 평가 (Evaluation of the Specialized Elective Course for Dental Hygiene Student's Career to Pursue Provided by Yonsei University in Korea)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 치위생학과 학생들에게 다양한 사회경험의 기회를 제공함으로써 사회 진출의 방향을 모색하여 자신의 적성에 맞는 진로를 선택하도록 돕기 위해 시행된 특성화 선택과정을 평가하는 것이다. 특성화 선택과정은 졸업을 앞둔 치위생학과의 고학년 학생이 학과에서 선정한 외부의 대상 기관 가운데 한 곳을 스스로 선택하여, 해당 기관에서 2주 동안 머물며 체험하는 과정이다. 이러한 특성화 선택과정에 참여한 연세대학교 치위생학과 졸업생 중 103명을 대상으로 자기기입법 설문조사를 시행하였다. 그 중 회신된 70부만이 본 연구를 위한 분석으로 활용하였다. 설문은 특성화 선택과 정에 대한 만족도, 특성화 선택과정이 자신의 진로를 계획하는데 도움이 되었는지 여부, 특성화 선택과정을 통해 자신의 진로 선택에 어떠한 태도 변화가 있었는지 등의 내용을 중심으로 구성되었다. 대부분의 졸업생들은 특성화 선택과정에 만족하고 있었으며(매우 만족 21.4%, 만족 47.1%, 보통 24.3%) 기관의 종류에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 많은 졸업생들은 특성화 선택과정이 자신들의 진로를 결정하는데 영향을 주었다고 응답하였으며(87.1%) 특성화 선택과정으로 인해 진로와 관련해서 어떠한 태도변화가 있었는지에 대해서는 63%의 졸업생이 자신의 진로에 대해 심각하게 고민하기 시작했다고 응답하였다. 본 연구를 통해 연세대학교 치위생학과에서 시행되고 있는 특성화 선택과정 실습에 대부분의 학생들이 만족하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었으며 사회의 다른 분야를 미리 경험해 봄으로써 진로 모색을 구체화 할 수 있는 기회가 될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

국내 간호대학생의 전공만족도 관련변인에 대한 체계적 고찰과 메타분석 (A Meta-analysis of the Variables related to the Major Satisfaction of Nursing students.)

  • Purpose: Factors related to the major satisfaction of nursing students were systematically searched and quantitatively synthesized. Methods: Meta-analysis was conducted upon 47 articles in Korean master and doctorate degree dissertations and academic journals. Meta-analysis of major satisfaction-related variables was conducted using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) 2.0 program. The effect size of the related variables was analyzed by converting the statistic r value to Fisher's Z. Results: The overall average effect size of major satisfaction was the largest effect size (ES=.49), followed by cognitive factors (ES=.58), affective factors (ES=.45), and psychomotor factors (ES=.31). The cognitive factors were in the order nursing professionalism(ES=.70), nurse's image (ES=.65), and critical thinking disposition (ES=.36). The affective factors were self-esteem (ES=.59), emotional intelligence (ES=.55), career identity (ES=.49), self-efficacy (ES=.48), college adjustment (ES=.45), practice satisfaction (ES=.45), resilience (ES=.42), (ES=.40), grit (ES=.34), and stress (ES=.26). The psychomotor factors were clinical performance ability (ES=.38) and career search behavior (ES=.31). Conclusion: The results of this study are valuable when giving consideration to the variables related to nursing students' major satisfaction, for developing a strategic model to enhance the satisfaction of nursing students.

The Effect of Workforce Restructuring on Withdrawal Behavior: The Role of Job Insecurity, Career Plateau and Procedural Justice

  • This study examines the direct effect of workforce restructuring on the withdrawal behavior and mediating effect of perceived job insecurity. Empirically it also explores the moderating effect of career plateau and procedural justice on the above relationship. The study focuses on the mediating role of job insecurity and the moderating role of career plateau in relations to procedural justice, which will concentrate on the relationship between workforce restructuring and withdrawal behavior. For the empirical study, we collected and analyzed 442 survey data from employees of Korean companies. SPSS 24 is used for reliability, correlation and regression analysis. The results of the empirical analysis are as follows. First, perceived job insecurity mediated the relationship between workforce restructuring and withdrawal behavior. Second, content career plateau had a negative moderating effect on the relationship between workforce restructuring and job insecurity. Finally, the moderating effect of procedural justice was not supported. This research extend workforce restructuring and career plateau related studies; by exploring the mediating variable and moderating variable on the relationship between workforce restructuring and the pertaining outcomes. Based on the results, we provide theoretical and practical implications along with future research recommendations.

수업컨설팅을 통한 고경력 초등교사의 과학수업전문성 변화 (Science Teaching Professionalism Changes of High-Career Elementary School Teachers Through Instructional Consulting)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) elements and the changes in the science lesson planning and implementation difficulties experienced by high-career elementary school teachers with over 20 years of educational experience through the instructional consulting case of the Seoul City Office of Education Scholarship Support Group in order to find implications on effective instructional consulting support plan for improving the science teaching professionalism of high-career elementary school teachers. The result of this study is as follows : First, the pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) elements on the science lesson planning and implementation difficulties experienced by high-career elementary school teachers with over 20 years of educational experience were related to teaching strategy and they experienced difficulties in lesson content organization using lesson model and experiment facilitation and questioning, as well as in the area of interest and motive management that are definitional characteristic of learner in the learner element. Second, as for the changes in the PCK through science instructional consulting, they recognized the importance of the designing and experimenting process as students become the subject in the experiment facilitation in lesson, and they ended up attempting the postscript for promoting the thinking power of students. In addition, it was found that not only the cognitive characteristic but also the definitional characteristic of learner is important in science lesson and that students' motive is also an element that needs to be continuously managed. Third, as for effective instructional consulting plan for enhancing the science teaching professionalism of high-career elementary school teachers, it was revealed that it is necessary to first develop lesson expertise improvement consulting program that takes into account of teaching profession advancement phase of high-career teachers, and establish instructional consulting system and human resource pool of high-quality consultants based on the administrative and financial support from the Office of Education. The academic significance of this study is in the fact that it examined and searched for support plan on science teaching professionalism of high-career elementary school teacher, but a more extensive and in-depth study is needed since there is a limitation in this study on the object of study and the period.

초등학생들의 과학 학습과 관련된 인지적, 정의적, 행동적 특성과 과학기술 관련 직업에 대한 인식의 관계 (The Relationships among Elementary School Students' Cognitive, Affective, and Behavioral Characteristics Related to Science Learning and Their Perceptions toward Scientific and/or Technological Professions)

  • In this study, we investigated the elementary school students' perceptions toward scientific and/or technological professions in the views of accuracy, complexity, and diversity, and compared them by the students' grades and their science-related career aspiration levels. We also studied the relationships among the students' perceptions toward scientific and/or technological professions and their cognitive (science achievement), affective (enjoyment of science lessons, attitude to scientific inquiry, self-efficacy), and behavioral (participation in science-related activity) characteristics. The subjects were 369 students of 4th and 6th grades at three elementary schools in Seoul. The results revealed that the students were relatively well aware of what works and professions in science and/or technology were, but they did not have good understanding of them in the views of complexity and diversity. The 6th graders had better perceptions toward science and/or technological professions than 4th graders, although they showed the lower scores of attitude to scientific inquiry. Moreover, the higher science-related career aspirations were, the higher scores in all tests of the perceptions and the personal characteristics were. The students' perceptions toward scientific and/or technological professions were found to have relationships with their cognitive, affective, and behavioral characteristics. The multiple regression analysis of the personal characteristics on the perceptions toward scientific and/or technological professions indicated that science-related activity, science achievement, and self-efficacy were significant predictors. Educational implications are discussed.

간호사의 자아개념과 윤리적 개념인식과의 관계 (Relationship between nurses' self concept and ethical concept)

  • This descriptive study was designed to find out the relation between self concept and ethical concept of nurses. The data were collected from 224 staff nurses in a tertiary hospital located in Suwon city during February 24 to March 7, 2001. Self concept was measured with questionnaire developed by chung (1965) and ethical concept was measured with the questionnaire developed by the researcher. The 5 point Likert scale questionnaire had 95 items. The results were summarized as follows: 1) The mean score of self concept was 3.11. The ethical concept were measured in 4 areas and mean scores were : accountability, 3,93; collaboration, 3.70; caring, 3.63; an advocacy, 3.15. So accountability was the area with the highest score in ethical concept. 2) Nurses' self concept was significantly related to ethical concept (collaboration, r=.34, p<.001; advocacy, r=.32, p<.001; caring, r=.28, p<.001; and responsibility, r=.23, p<.001). 3) The self concept was significant in age(F=3.28, p=.000) and the ethical concept was significant in age(F=15.88, p=.000), education level(t=2.16, p=0.03), career(F=5.16, p=.001) In conclusion, there was a significant relationship between self concept and ethical concept of nurses. High score in accountability may be related to high level of legal responsibility of nurses. This finding suggests that it is the length of nursing career is significantly related to both self-concept and ethical concept. Thus, it is important to improve self concept in order to improve ethical concept of nurses from early the beginning of their career.

발명영재 교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 이공계 선호 및 진로의식에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of an Invention Program for Gifted Pupils on the Interest of Science-engineering Department and Career Maturity)

  • 이 연구는 발명영재 교육프로그램이 초등학생의 이공계 선호 및 진로의식 변화에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 목적으로 수원시 D초등학교, J초등학교 6학년 영재학급을 대상으로 12차시에 걸쳐 실험집단에게 발명영재 교육 프로그램을 적용하여 실험을 실시하였다. 본 연구 결과 발명영재 교육프로그램 적용에 따른 진로의식 성숙도의 차이는 실험집단이나 통제집단 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 이공계 선호 및 이공계 기피 현상에 대한 인식 변화는 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 이는 발명영재 교육프로그램이 초등학생의 진로의식을 높이는 것에는 적합하지 않지만 이공계 선호에 대한 인식 변화에 적합한 것으로 판단된다. 이를 토대로 발명영재 교육프로그램의 내용체계 속에 진로의식을 성숙시켜 줄 수 있는 부분이 포함되어 교육이 이루어져야지만 진정한 발명교육의 목표에 도달할 수 있음을 제언한다.

부모진로지지와 진로자기조절, 진로정체감의 관계 - 방사선과 학생 대상 - (Relationship between Parental Career Support, Career Self-Regulation, and Career Identity - with Student Dep. of Radiologic Technology -)

  • 방사선과 1, 2, 3학년 학생들의 부모진로지지(정보적, 정서적, 경제적, 경험적)의 영향으로 진로자기조절 관계(계획 및 점검, 긍정적사고, 진로피드백, 진로환경조성), 진로정체감 관계(진로결정, 우유부단, 진로미결정)을 알아보고자 설문을 중심으로 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 상관관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 부모진로지지 중에 정서적지지는 계획 및 점검(r=.25, p<.001), 진로피드백(r=.54, p<.001), 긍정적사고(r=.46, p<.001)는 높은 상관을 보였고, 정보적지지도 진로환경조성(r=.22, p<.001), 계획 및 점검(r=.20, p<.001), 진로피드백(r=.24, p<.001), 긍정적사고(r=.26, p<.001)도 모두 높은 상관을 보였다. 경제적지지는 진로피드백(r=.33, p<.001), 긍정적사고(r=.34, p<.001)은 다소 높은 상관을 보였다. 경험적지지는 진로환경조성(r=.18, p<.001), 계획 및 점검(r=.25, p<.001), 진로피드백(r=.37, p<.001), 긍정적사고(r=.30, p<.001) 모두 높은 상관을 보였다. 부모진로지지 중에 정서적지지는 진로결정(r=.27, p<.001), 경제적지지 역시 진로결정(r=.18, p<.001), 경험적지지도 진로결정(r=.23, p<.001)에서만 다소 높은 상관을 보였다. 부모진로지지에 따른 학년간의 차이는 정서적지지(F=8.52, p<.001), 경제적지지(F=8.97, p<.001), 경험적지지(F=5.36, p<.05)에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 진로자기조절에 따른 학년간의 차이는 진로피드백(F=8.48, p<.001), 긍정적사고(F=16.29, p<.001)에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 진로정체감에 따른 학년간의 차이는 진로미결정(F=4.01, p<.05), 진로결정(F=11.72, p<.001)에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 부모진로지지가 진로과업을 성장시키는 자녀나 청소년들에게 얼마나 많은 영향력을 발휘하는지에 대한 연구 결과가 나왔으며, 전문적인 후속 연구가 필요로 하며 부모님들이 자녀의 진로나 의사결정에 전적으로 참여하기보다는 지원하고 도울 수 있는 객관적인 입장으로 보살펴주는 부모의 역할이 매우 필요할 것으로 생각된다. 특히 방사선과 전체 학생들은 자신이 진로결정 시 가장 영향을 준 사람은 본인의 의사를 제외하면 부모님의 영향(30.1%)이 높은 결과가 나왔으며, 또한 전공 선택 시 가장 큰 동기는 취업전망이 좋을 것 같아서가 40%로 높은 결과가 나왔다. 이러한 결과들은 고등학교에서 대학 진학 진로결정시 자신의 흥미나 적성보다는 현실적인 문제인 취업전망이 좋은 부분에 많은 관심을 가지고 진로결정을 하였다는 결과로 보여 지고 있다. 또한 정보, 정서, 경제, 경험들의 부모진로지지가 자신의 진로목표 및 목표를 달성하기 위해 자신을 조절할 수 있게 영향을 주며 또한 진로결정에 많은 영향력을 주는 것을 알 수 있으나, 현재 방사선과 학생들의 진로선택은 흥미나 적성보다는 시대에 맞춘 취업 전망이 중요한 부분이고, 또한 대부분의 부모도 미래에 자녀가 안정된 직업을 얻었으면 하는 바람을 갖고 있다. 이러한 기대로 방사선과에 입학한 학생들이 비록 적성과 흥미가 맞지 않아서 대학생활이나 전공공부 하는데 어려움을 겪고 있는 학생들에게 잘 적응 할 수 있도록 부모진로지지 만큼이나 학생들의 학습지도나 정서지지가 필요하다고 생각한다.

진로체험 참여 고등학생의 간호사 이미지와 진로 정체감에 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing on Nurse's Image and Career Identity of High-school Students who Participated Job Experience)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted in order to examine the correlation between the image of nurse and career identity among high school students participating in a vocational experience program of a nursing department, to find influential factors, and ultimately, to improve the image of nurse and promote the establishment of career identity for the development of nursing career and to obtain strategic information for developing nursing departments' vocational experience programs. Methods: Data for this study were collected using a structured self-report questionnaire from 90 high school students participating in a vocational experience program executed at the Nursing Department of W University in G Province during the period from April 26 to July 19 in 2014. Results: According to the results of data analyses, factors influencing the image of nurse were career identity(${\beta}=0.339$, p=0.002) and satisfaction with the program(${\beta}=0.153$, p=0.043) in order of significance(F=9.51, p<0.001), and factors influencing career identity were the image of nurse(${\beta}=0.301$, p=0.002), satisfaction with the program(${\beta}=0.254$, p=0.010), and gender(${\beta}=0.231$, p=0.015) in order of significance(F=12.06, p<0.001). Conclusions: These results suggest that when high school students participating in a vocational experience program of a nursing department are satisfied with the program, the program is more effective in improving the image of nurse and promoting the establishment of career identity. Based on this study, further research is necessary to get strategic information for developing various vocational experience programs, to provide high school students with vocational experiences related to nursing through the programs, and to examine the effects of such programs.
