This study quantitatively measured the impact of blended learning with smart devices for learning satisfaction. It is targeted in specialized domestic company with IT Service which build smart learning systems and utilize for employee training. Specifically, it empirically analyzed that learning attitude(Self-efficacy, Self-innovativeness, Perceived usefulness, Perceived ease of use) with smart devices affect acceptance of smart learning and offline face-to-face learning satisfaction. As a result, the learning attitude of the smart learning gave a positive effect on the acceptance of the smart learning and then acceptance of the smart learning gave a positive effect on offline face-to-face learning satisfaction. Additionally learning the attitude of the smart learning even gave a positive impact, as well as the acceptance of smart learning experience in offline training. It imply that this variables of smart-learning attitude affect the self-directed learning and positive learning experience.
The purpose of this study is to create a hypothetical model that explains and predicts oral health promotion behavior of adolescents by reviewing preceding literature on Pender's Health Promotion Model, and to verify the model's validity and proposed hypothesis through PLS (partial least square) structural equation model analysis. This study was cross-sectional survey consisted of self-administration questionnaires. The subjects in this study were a total of 293 alternative high school students in Jeollabuk-do Province. They were selected by convenience sampling. In alternative high school students, perceived benefit, locus of control, self-efficacy, and self-esteem had an effect on their oral health promoting behavior. As a result of the indirect effects in black is subjectively good subjective oral health, oral health related behaviors well past the more oral health promotion behavior showed a high. The prediction model of oral health promotion for adolescences, which was made using Pender's Health Promotion Model, was considered to be useful in explaining and predicting alternative high school students oral health promotion behavior.
Purpose: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a leading cause of death with a prevalence rate of 12.4% in South Korea. Self-management is crucial for patients with DM, because many studies have reported that self-management intervention based on the Health Belief Model (HBM) is effective. The purpose of this study was to investigate the current state of HBM based intervention studies and the components and effects of the theories used in the study for diabetes patients. Methods: A systematic review was conducted using the Pubmed, Cochrane Library and Embase databases from January 2009 to May 2019. We reviewed characteristics of intervention based on the HBM in randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs), quasi-experimental study intervention. Results: Eight studies published in English between 2009 and 2019 were included in this review. The key components of the health behavior promotion program applied to the DM patients were perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits, perceived barriers and self-efficacy. The intervention based on these components has reported to significantly increase the health behavior change, likelihood of taking health action and improve physiological indicators (HbA1c, and fasting blood sugar etc.). Conclusion: This study highlighted the importance of intervention programs based on the HBM for DM patients.
Since the Korean retail industry was made accessible to the big conglomerates and foreign retail companies, local traditional markets have faced serious problems. To sustain the local traditional markets' survival, the Korean government established various remedial policies for addressing, and many scholars published articles to suggest how to find solutions to, the problem. Unfortunately, the results have not been satisfactory. The purpose of this study is to find another way to help the Korean traditional retail market, from the view point of the Green Growth Policy, an initiative designed to address environmentally balanced economic growth in Korea. In order to survive and to maintain sustainable growth, it is incumbent upon retailers in the traditional market to understand the concept of the Green Growth Policy. A survey was conducted as a means of testing the degree of awareness of the Green Growth Policy, as well as determining the relationship between the degree of awareness and the degree of organizational commitment by the retailers in the local traditional markets. Interestingly, we were able to detect some of the features (e.g., they were distinguished by the elderly and the young, as well as low level of education and high level of education) in the traditional market retailers' demographic characteristics. We utilized the analysis of variance (ANOVA) statistical method to simultaneously compare the differences in retailers' demographic characteristics; the results were as follows: Overall, the results showed that the awareness of the Green Growth Policy, the degree of trust in the government's policy, levels of self-efficacy, and levels of organizational commitment were higher with the older traditional market retailers than the younger traditional market retailers. Specifically, the degree of trust in government policies (F=9.964,p < .05), levels of self-efficacy (F=5.532,p < .05), and levels of organizational commitment (F=5.697,p < .05) were statistically significant. Moreover, in the portion of the study that addressed the difference between education levels, all the variables were averaged in the higher education category of the traditional market retailers. Specifically, awareness levels of the Green Growth Policy (F=8.564,p < .005) and levels of self-efficacy (F=6.754,p < .005) were statistically significant. These results revealed that the traditional market retailers' demographic characteristics should be considered important factors in order to realize their policy. The results of the study showed the following: 1) The degree of awareness of the government's Green Growth Policy was statistically significant as it related to traditional market retailers' organizational commitment. 2) The degree of trust of the government's policy was significantly moderated between the awareness of the government's Green Growth Policy and the traditional market retailers' organizational commitment. This result demonstrates that the traditional market retailers' awareness of the government's Green Growth Policy will show more organizational commitment with higher levels of trust of the government's policy. 3) It also revealed that traditional market retailers' self-efficacy was fully mediated between the awareness of the Green Growth Policy of the government and traditional market retailers' organizational commitment. The results suggest that the government should show an interest in showing traditional market retailers how to enhance their traditional markets. Implications and future research directions are also discussed.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in non-cognitive factors, specifically achievement goal orientation (AGO) and self-regulated learning (SRL), influencing the academic achievement (AC) of medical and nursing students. 186 students, including 110 medical students and 76 nursing students, completed a survey, which addressed the factors of AGO and SRL. There were significant differences in the factors that affected the academic achievement of medical and nursing students. Multiple regression revealed that the AC of medical students was significantly more affected by mastery-approach AGO (p<0.05), seeking information (p<0.001), and rehearsing/memorizing SRL (p<0.01), while the AC of nursing students was affected by performance-approach AGO, self-efficacy (p<0.001), and time-management SRL. Analysis of variance revealed that significant differences in the sub-factors of AGO and SRL between the medical and nursing students. Thus, it was found that the academic achievement of medical and nursing students was influenced by non-cognitive factors, but there were significant differences in the sub-factors by group. It is suggested that comparative studies with other student groups and a longitudinal study of medical and nursing students need to be conducted, and a personalized counseling and learning intervention focusing on non-cognitive factors should be provided to medical and nursing students.

Purpose: This paper presents the development process and the final contents of the sellf- management education program integrated with exercise training (Healthy Aging Happy Aging, HAHA program) for community residing older adults with chronic diseases. Methods: The program evaluation methodology was applied which is an interactive program development process based on needs assessment, formative evaluation, process evaluation and outcome evaluation. The program was developed and revised while the program was implementing to 22 hypertension (HT) and 32 diabetic (DM) participants. Results: The final program has two sub-programs for HT and DM participants utilizing self-efficacy resources. They share four common components; 1) health screening of exercise risks, 2) weekly 1-hour group self-management education classes, 3) biweekly 1-hour group exercise training and 4) a mid-term individual counseling. Both sub-programs were 12-weeks long but have different education and exercise contents. Participants-rated mean satisfaction scores were 3.47/4 and 3.61/4 for HT and DM program respectively. Attendance rate were 83.1% ~ 92.3% for the classes. Conclusion: The HAHA program developed by multidisciplinary team which reflected participants needs was accepted well by participants evidenced by high attendance rate and perceived satisfaction level.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to verify the effectiveness of the Environmental Hazards Exposure Prevention Program for Mothers with Young Child (EHEPP-MYC) and to provide basic data for environmental health projects in the community. Methods: EHEPP-MYC was developed based on the protection motivation theory. A quasi-experimental design was applied to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. The number of study participants was 30 in the experimental group and 31 in the control group. The intervention applied to the experimental group consisted of lectures as the main method, current affairs programs, discussions, booklets, animations, and practical training. The program was held twice a week for a total of 4 sessions of 60 minutes each. The effect of applying the program was measured three times through surveys (before, immediately after, and two weeks after the intervention) and analyzed through repeated measures ANOVA. Results: The EHEPP-MYC had significant effects on preventive behavior, perceived severity, perceived vulnerability, self-efficacy, response efficacy, and response costs at three time points. Conclusion: EHEPP-MYC has been shown to be effective in promoting environmental hazards prevention behaviors among mothers of young child. EHEPP-MYC can be used as baseline data for projects developing programs to prevent exposure to environmental hazards and improve the environmental health of communities.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to build and test a theoretical model that could be used to explain and predict health promoting behavior in school children in Korea. Method: Participants for this study included a total of 423 students, all of whom were enrolled in either the 5th or 6th grade of one of 3 elementary schools in Seoul and Gyunggi Province, Korea. A questionnaire was used to collect the data and the collection period was from September 22 to 30, 2006. The data were analyzed using the SAS Program and Lisrel Windows Program. The instruments for this study were developed to include a health promotion behavior scale, self-esteem scale, self-efficacy scale, perceived benefit and barriers scale, social support scale, health status scale, academic stress scale, and previous health-related behavior scale. Results: The hypothetical model for this study consisted of 3 intrinsic and 6 extrinsic variables, and 27 pathways. As a result of hypotheses testing, as many as 11 pathways were found to be statistically significant. Conclusion: The development of health promotion programs based on the factors found in this study will be very effective in promoting the health of Korea's school children.
An emphasized analysis and reviews on the progress of pesticide managements for the past 10 years through the statistics in Korea are summarized in this continued studies in connection with the fundmental aspects and direction of advanced pesticide industry and improved plantprotection policies for 1980's. Remarkable development and changes are observed in the plant species and varieties, plantation practices and production techniques as well as pest infestations and controls in the last decade, but no normal achievement and operations are recognised on the pesticide management and marketing system especially. Realistic plant protection adminstration and pesticide regulations in accordance to the industrial modernization and pest management advancement must be adjusted in accordance with national economic progress and desirable agricultural structure for 1980's. Special considerations are stated on the strengthening of research and inspection program for the quality products and control with the efficacy and safety use of pesticides. More serious attentions are noted on the over production and flooded stocks under struggled market demands and sales competitions with lethal financial difficulties by producers. Through the status analyzed for the last decade, the integrated past management and cooperative basic control pattern under positive self-forecasting system by farmers are also urged for the effective and economic pest control measures. The problems and solutions discussed here ell the advanced pesticide management as well as the cooperation on the self-ordered quality control and market managing systems in 1980's as it is a desired projection for the further improvement. Most of outstanding and necessary statistics and data in the past decade are also summarized here for references in connection with the previous report.
Purpose: This review examined literature relevant to adolescent's health behavior in order to identify key behaviors and factors related to health behaviors for targeting health promotion interventions. Method: A critical review of 29 research articles was carried out using the guidelines suggested by Cooper. Result: The majority of the studies were descriptive and cross-sectional. Generally. the study includes sub-dimensions such as general hygiene and daily life habit, safety and accident prevention, nutrition and eating (tobacco, drinking), exercise, mental health and stress management, health duty (drug, health examination, disease prevention). Factors highly related to health behaviors were age, living areas, economic status, parent health behaviors, parent health concern, social support, friends influence, self-efficacy, self-esteem, locus of control, and the perceived health status. Sex, parent education and health knowledge were not related to health behaviors of adolescents. Conclusion: Several conceptual and methodological problems were identified in the studies review, such as restricted conceptualization of health behaviors and sampling issues which limit the generalizability of the study outcomes. Further research is needed to enhance the concept clarification and generalizablity of the study results.
