  • As the demand for AI education increases, AI education is actively conducted in the educational field, but it is difficult to internalize AI education due to securing time, difficulty in organizing class contents, and lack of curriculum. As a way to solve this problem, there is a school autonomous course. The school autonomous course allows schools to have autonomy and discretion throughout the curriculum, such as adjusting the number of hours in the subject group and restructuring the use of achievement standards. In this study, in order to enhance AI education, the effect was analyzed by developing and applying an AI education immersion course using a school autonomous curriculum. In the AI education immersion course, students continuously experience AI education in a dense manner within a limited time, so substantial AI education can be achieved. After the AI curriculum, it was found that students' overall AI literacy and self-determination learning motivation improved. It is expected that this study will be able to present a direction to internalize AI education using school autonomous curriculum.

  • In this paper, the necessity of independent operation of information curriculum was suggested by analyzing the changes and problems of elementary school information curriculum. Also, a plan was suggested to organize autonomous subjects for autonomous activities so that information education can be independently operated in elementary schools. Autonomous activity is an extension of the concept of creative experience activities, and refers to an educational activity time in which autonomous courses or various educational activities can be freely operated by reflecting the needs of students and parents or the characteristics of the school. It means a subject that you choose to run or do not have to choose. In the case of running an independent curriculum using the discretionary time of the principal, such as voluntary activities, the "safe life" of the 1st and 2nd graders in the 2015 elementary school curriculum and the 7th junior high school curriculum operate elective courses in subject discretionary activities. One can be found. Therefore, if information education in elementary schools can be organized and operated as autonomous subjects, at least students who want to learn artificial intelligence, coding, and big data will have an opportunity to learn in public education.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore tasks based on the current status of autonomous schools currently in operation. The research method used the method of literature research. In addition, the research contents were divided into the significance and development of autonomous schools, the types of autonomous schools, the current status of autonomous schools, and the areas of tasks. In the significance and development of autonomous schools, as alienation from standardized and standardized education occurred, autonomous schools with special cases for school and curriculum operation were systematically guaranteed for the improvement and development of the education system, including the school education system. Next, the types of autonomous schools were divided into general autonomous schools and Jeju autonomous schools. The general type is based on the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, and the Jeju type is operated under the Jeju Special Act, and the contents are also different, so their characteristic aspects were examined. Finally, the current status and tasks of autonomous schools were discussed. The characteristic aspects of the general and Jeju types, which differ in legal basis and content, were examined, and tasks were presented accordingly. The tasks were presented as the large number of autonomous schools, the concentration by region and type, the use of special cases mainly on institutional aspects such as principal qualifications and school management committees, and the smoothness of manpower support in Jeju. As a result of these discussions, it was requested to operate a substantial autonomous school, not a formal autonomous school operation.

  • The purpose of this study was to figure out adoption of curriculum autonomy policy by a middle school. To achieve the purpose, official documents accepted or produced by the school were examined regarding how much curriculum autonomy was given to the school. As well as, minutes on curriculum organization and implementation and interviews with significant figures in the school were analyzed to reveal how the school exerted its curriculum autonomy. The results indicated that superior educational administrative institution that had made decision on curriculum autonomy policy and promoted it constantly sent to the school official documents that required it to report what had been done. Such practices prevented the school from autonomous organization and implementation of curriculum. In addition, as most decisions on curriculum organization and implementation at school level was made by administrator and teachers with special position, most teachers remained at passive status to accept what had decided by them. Parents'committee did not exercise their rights by lack of expertise and passive attitude.

  • This study looked into the procedures of and the status on the implementation of the new 7th national curriculum at the elementary school level, especially focused on the subjects of schools and the teachers for the actual curriculum implementation. More specifically the study examined, 1) the degree to which the particular innovation(i.e., student-centered, flexible and autonomous school-based curriculum, etc.) is be-ing implemented as planned; and 2) how it is being implemented. It conducted a situation-oriented analysis in cooperation with three local boards of education. Classroom observations, teacher interviews, questionnaires for teachers and supervisors were utilized and the three major criteria of interpreting the result were the three core concepts of the 7th national curriculum, that is, the degree of "(1)reorganization, (2)student-centeredness, and (3)diversification/specialization" of the curriculum. Detailed documentation on the processes of the local bureaus of education and on the classroom practices are made in order to provide schools and policy makers with relevant and practical suggestions for further improvement of curriculum implementation.

  • As the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) evolves, studies on autonomous ships have been conducting in the shipping industry. Currently, two or three degrees of autonomous ships is in operation, and a shore remote control of icer (SRCO) monitors vessel operations and intervenes remotely where necessary in the service. However, as the curriculum for an SRCO has not been established internationally, the risk of an accident by an unqualified SRCO is increasing. In this study, specifies the curriculum required for SRCO that consists of suitable existing training and new training under remote control circumstances. This includes Non-technical skill training to enhance the effectiveness of an SRCO. This curriculum can be used for a new SRCO to evaluate training and competency specific safety standards, and to enable existing seafarers to become SRCOs through the necessary training.

Ultimately, The greater the awareness of the intention of the new curriculum on the part of both the staff at the local school boards and teachers, the greater the degree of implementation. And the higher the quality of planning to meet problems, the greater the degree of implementation. Continuous efforts are needed to involve teachers in the process of curriculum implementation. The greater the active support of the teachers, the greater the degree of implementation.

  • Chonnam National University Medical School has designed and implemented two career planning programs: a three-phase curriculum-based program and a longitudinal non-curricular program over the course of 6 academic years. The three phases of the curriculum-based career planning program are self-assessment, career exploration, and field experience. The non-curricular career counseling program operates through a faculty advisor system, with each faculty member guiding a group of students from each academic year, and students in each year forming a mentor-mentee relationship. The non-curricular career exploration program consists of a student research support program, an international practice program in basic and clinical medicine, and a specialty exploration fair. A survey conducted among 38 graduates (54.3%) working as interns at Chonnam National University Hospital revealed that graduates preferred autonomous elective subjects within the curriculum-based program. They also responded positively to the faculty advisor system, through which they maintained close relationships. A focus group interview with three interns indicated that subjects providing direct experience in fields of interest and courses that students could choose freely were helpful in career decisions. Through follow-up research, it is necessary to design and operate a systematic career planning program based on an analysis of the needs of graduates taking part in a residency training program after selecting a medical specialty.
