Recently, the number of facilities and users of zipline which is the most popular among extreme leisure facilities has been increasing year by year. Zipline is a means of transporting durable wire between two timber or stay and moving the trolley connected to the passenger at high speed in the opposite direction. However, due to the nature of the zip line facility, the risk of accidents is always present and safety accidents are frequently occurring. Therefore, this study investigates the current state of safety management and extract the problem in terms of safety management through analyzing the installation state of zipline facilities in the case of accidents and reviewing of similar facility regulations. In order to solve this problem, we will contribute to establishment of comprehensive and systematic countermeasures and establishment of safety improvement system by suggesting measures to improve safety management through analyzing foreign regulations and safety management regulations for zipline and other extreme leisure facilities.

Background: This study seeks to examine the relationship and impact of occupational health and safety on employees' organizational commitment in Ghana's mining industry. The study explores occupational health and safety and the different dimensions of organizational commitment. Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used for this study. The respondents were selected based on simple random sampling. Out of 400 questionnaires administered, 370 were returned (77.3% male and 22.7% female) and used for the study. Correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to determine the relationship and impact between the variables. Results: The findings of this study revealed positive and significant relationship between occupational health and safety management, and affective, normative, and continuance commitment. Additionally, the results revealed the significant impact of occupational health and safety on affective, normative, and continuance commitment. Conclusion: Management within the mining sector of Ghana must recognize the fact that workers who feel healthy and safe in the performance of their duties, develop emotional attachment and have a sense of obligation to their organization and are most likely committed to the organization. Employees do not just become committed to the organization; rather, they expect management to first think about their health and safety needs by instituting good and sound policy measures. Thus, management should invest in the protection of employees' health and safety in organizations.

본 연구는 지적장애 특수학교 교사들의 안전사고 실태 및 예방교육에 관한 연구를 효과적인 안전교육 방안의 목적이다. 그 결과를 요약하면 지적장애 특수학교 교사의 안전교육활동, 안전교육환경, 안전교육인식, 안전교육지식, 안전자원 및 연수경험, 내 외부요인 간에는 통계적으로 유의미한 정(+)적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타나 상호 보완적인 관계에 있음을 알 수 있다. 전체적으로 교사의 안전사고 경험이 기대이상 높고 교실, 계단, 강당, 놀이기구 등 장소, 시간, 유형에 따라 다양하게 발생되고 있음을 알 수 있다, 이를 예방하기 위한 안전교육 실천도 또한 안전자료와 연수경험에 안전교육 지식과 인식도, 교육활동 순으로 나타내 특수학교 교사의 안전자원과 연수경험의 기회 제공이 보다 확충되어야 할 것을 시사해 주었다.

Construction sites have various risks, and safety managements are enforced based on the law such as Industrial Safety and Health Act, etc. Safety management by the law saves lives and preserves health of workers by removing and understanding risks in advance. When the emergency situation has come, poor response causes loss of lives and physical damages. This study suggests basic strategy that can mitigate the industrial disaster in all construction sites. A survey was conducted to identify the current safety consciousness and to evaluate first aid ability of coworkers. Finally, four measures were suggested: (1) designating muster points; (2) hiring occupational health managers; (3) increasing the first aid ability of coworkers; and (4) carrying safety brochure. The proposed suggestions can be helpful in mitigating the construction disaster, and in responding the major accident efficiently within a short time.

There are about 38,977 CNG cars and 247 natural gas vehicle charging stations in operation in order to improve the urban air environment. With the introduction of natural gas vehicles, the atmospheric environment, which was the main cause of air pollution in the metropolitan area, was remarkably improved. However, unlike these positive effects, CNG bus accidents, which occurred more than 10 times since 2005, have caused concern among the majority of citizens using public transportation. It is necessary to make a judgment on the feasibility and future direction of CNG pressure vessel safety management that can safeguard the safety of CNG pressure vessel at the time of starting. In this study, we investigates production and use of CNG vessel, the current status of safety management of CNG bus transportation companies & charging stations and then proposes measures to prevent accident recurrence and safety management based on the actual situation investigation and analysis.

The deaths caused by industrial accidents during the construction of the mortality rate is considerably higher than in other industries. To prevent such a disaster workers and to minimize unsafe behavior measures to be drawn, and construction companies recently to stimulate the emotions of the workers to participate in voluntary activities are safe. In this study, the construction workers can stimulate emotions and activities on the environment by examining the preferences of the workers on-site management will want to take advantage. This study revealed that the construction workers prefer the incentive most and then working environment.

In Japan, there are over the 100's fires in the social welfare organs every years. People are interested in fire protection who live in an institution for the aged or weak person's places and worried about it. I surveyed the social welfare organs were safety from fire to firewarden who worked at an institution for the aged in Tokyo. In the paper, I asked how do you think about the fire safety problems and condition of the facilities. And base on firewarden's view, I reviewed(examined) the fire prevention measures, each facility's problems and how to improve the fire protection.

CCTV image processing techniques have been developed for safety management in manufacturing sites. However, CCTV growth has become a social problem for video surveillance with regard to privacy. This study aims to manage the safety system efficiently and protect privacy simultaneously. In this study, the CCTV monitoring system is composed of five steps (accident monitoring, detection, notification, management, restoration). De-identified image is observed when we are in a normal situation. De-identified image changes to identified image when it detects an accident. As soon as it detects an accident, the accident information is sent to the safety administrator. Then the administrator could conduct safety measures. Afterward, accumulated accident data could be used for statistical data that could be utilized as analyzing expecting accident.

Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate patient safety regulations and guidelines in order to understand their current status, and to examine support measures to improve patient safety in Korean hospitals. Methods: The participants were the safety officers from hospitals with 200 or more beds and 112 hospitals responded to the online survey. The questions covered patient safety regulations, the performance level of patient safety activities, patient safety incident reporting systems, the dedicated professional, training, support mechanisms, and expectations of reporting systems. Results: Among preventative measures, fall prevention and hand hygiene were reported to be most widely practiced (92% and 91%, respectively). Time-out for invasive procedures showed a relatively low practice rate at 70%. Among patient care activities, transfusion, surgery and sedation, medication, and infection management were performed by 84, 74, 93 and 93% of the hospitals, respectively. Patient safety activities included patient safety committee, patient safety cooperation between decision-making bodies, patient safety workshops, seminars, lectures, and training for employees. Conclusion: Patient safety regulations and guidelines have not yet been sufficiently prepared, and a public institution such as a certification authority is of crucial importance to enforce these guidelines.

This study is to investigate the degree of field awareness of how each provision of the Serious Disaster Punishment Act will affect accident prevention. As a result of conducting a survey of construction site workers, it was analyzed that construction site workers had a low sense of safety and did not voluntarily engage in safety activities. And it can be seen that they are taking a very passive position that it is efficient to implement safety under the supervision of the supervisor. Workers who need voluntary construction site safety activities are most aware of the situation at the site, but the problem was pointed out as "lack of procedures for listening to opinions and preparing improvement measures" for these problems. Future research is needed to see if this is a problem for individual workers or for those in charge of safety and health who do not correct it even though active opinions have been submitted.
