Technological Readiness and Innovation as Drivers for Logistics 4.0

  • The research purpose of this paper is to empirically examine the effects of technological readiness and innovation on logistics performance. To build up and maintain an important role in global supply chains, nowadays it is obvious that countries and logistics providers need to achieve competitive advantage in terms of digitalization. However, there is a lack of empirical studies about the impacts of information technologies and innovation potential on the logistics efficiency of countries. Hence, the study analyzes whether the corresponding pillars of the Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) matter for the Logistics Performance Index (LPI) and its dimensions. For determining the effects, the pooled regression approach is applied. The results show that technological readiness and innovation are positively and statistically significantly correlated with logistics performance: competence and quality of logistics services, efficiency of customs clearance processes, ability to track and trace consignments, frequency with which shipments reach consignee within scheduled or expected time, and ease of arranging competitively priced shipments. The findings of this study suggest that investments in innovations and technology progress improve countries' logistics efficiency, which is an important prerequisite for enabling Logistics 4.0 and thus, Industry 4.0 and the digital transformation of the economy and society.

어머니의 일상적 스트레스와 아동의 인지조절 및 정서조절이 아동의 학교준비도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Mother's Daily Hassles, Cognitive Regulation and Emotive Regulation on School Readiness)

  • 본 연구는 어머니의 일상적 스트레스, 아동의 인지조절과 정서조절이 아동의 학교준비도에 미치는 직접적인 영향 뿐 아니라 어머니의 일상적 스트레스가 아동의 인지조절과 정서조절을 통해 아동의 학교준비도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였고, 아동의 성별에 따른 매개효과의 차이를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울시 송파구, 경기도 용인시 및 분당구의 유치원과 어린이집 4곳에 재원 중인 만5세반 취학전 아동 273명과 그들의 어머니 273명이었다. 본 연구에서 수집된 자료는 SPSS 24.0과 Mplus 6.0($Muth{\acute{e}}n$ & $Muth{\acute{e}}n$, 2010)을 사용해 Pearson의 적률상관분석 및 적합도 지수를 통해 가설의 적합성을 확인하였고, 매개효과를 검증하기 위해서 구조방정식 모형(Structural Equation Modeling: SEM)을 사용하였다. 또한 아동의 성별에 따른 경로의 통계적 유의성 차이를 살펴보기 위해 다중집단분석(multi group analysis)을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 일상적 스트레스는 아동의 인지조절 및 정서조절에 직접적으로 부적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아동의 인지조절은 아동의 학교준비도의 하위요인 중 단체생활을 위한 기본자세 및 학습활동을 위한 능력에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 아동의 정서조절은 아동의 학교준비도의 하위요인 중 사회정서적 유능성에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니의 일상적 스트레스는 아동의 인지조절을 매개로 아동의 학교준비도의 하위요인 중 단체생활을 위한 기본자세 및 학습활동을 위한 능력에 영향을 주었으며, 아동의 정서조절을 매개로 아동의 학교준비도의 하위요인 중 사회적 유능성에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 남아의 경우에는 어머니의 일상적 스트레스가 아동의 인지조절에 미치는 영향이 여아의 경우보다 적은 반면에, 인지조절이 아동의 학교준비도의 하위요인 중 단체생활을 위한 기본자세에 미치는 영향은 여아보다 큰 것으로 나타났다.

부산 일부지역 학교 급식 조리원의 직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (A Study on the Factors Influencing Job Satisfactions of School Foodservice Employees in Busan Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic information to school foodservice employees so that they can meet their professional responsibilities by understanding the relationship of job burnout, job engagement, job stress and level of job satisfaction and analyze the influence between these factors according to the general characteristics of the employees. The subjects included employees at 426 school foodservices in Busan. The mean job engagement was significantly different in the reason that cooks chose this profession(p<0.05), and readiness to quit(p<0.001). The mean job stress was significantly different in different age groups(p<0.01), cooking certification(p<0.01), reason that cooks chose this profession(p<0.01), and readiness to quit(p<0.05). The mean job stress was significantly different in the reason cooks chose this profession(p<0.01), and readiness to quit(p<0.05). In terms of the level of satisfaction of coworkers, the subfactor of job burnout, 'self-confidence' and 'achievement' had positive influences (p<0.01) and for the level of satisfaction of the work, it had positive influences on 'achievement'(p<0.01) and negative influences on 'exhaustion' (p<0.01). In terms of the level of satisfaction of co-workers and work, the subfactor of job engagement, 'absorption' had positive influences(p<0.01). Among the level of job satisfaction, for the level of satisfaction of pay, the subfactor of job stress, 'unstable job' had negative influences(p<0.01) and 'role conflict' had positive influences(p<0.05). For the level of satisfaction of co-workers, the subfactor of job stress, 'role conflict' had negative influences(p<0.01), and for the level of satisfaction of work, 'inappropriate circumstance' and 'unstable job' had negative influences (p<0.01).

인공지능, 사물인터넷의 기술준비도가 의료인력 고용대체인지도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Technology Readiness Index of Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things on the Recognition of Substitute Employment of Medical Personnel)

  • Purpose: This study was to figure out relationships of perceived Technology Readiness Index(TRI), usefulness, acceptance intension, and the recognition of substitute employment of medical personnel on the artificial intelligence (AI) and internet of things (IoT) among main technologies. Methodology: To achieve the purpose, this study utilized structured survey tools to conduct a questionnaire survey of nursing, administrative and medical technology professionals at six university hospitals in Korea metropolitan area. A PLS(Partial Least Square) Path analysis was utilized To analyze the material. Findings: In the relation with the technology readiness and perceived usefulness, it had a positive influence to the perceived usefulness when the optimism and innovativeness were higher and the discomfort was lower. In the relation with the technology readiness and acceptance intension, it showed a positive influence when the innovativeness was higher and the discomfort was lower. In the relation with the perceived usefulness and acceptance intension, it had a positive influence to the acceptance intension when the perceived usefulness was higher. In the relation with the acceptance intension and the recognition of substitute employment, it showed a positive influence to the recognition of substitute employment when the acceptance intension was higher. Practical Implications: Judging based on the above study results and reference reviews, it confirmed that it is necessary to prepare in the level of hospital organization in the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution. They should increase the efficiency of human resources through the technological factors or changes of employment types for the additional demands of human resources to handle increasing medical demands or induce to secure necessary abilities which are changing at the right time by performing the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution related re-training continuously to develop the value of existing human resources.

초등 분야 과학논술대회 참가자들의 과학 글쓰기 능력 분석 (Analysis of the Elementary School Participants' Readiness to Write on Scientific Subjects in Science Writing Contest)

  • In order to investigate elementary school students' readiness to write on scientific subject, we analyzed the participants' draft in elementary student section [National Student Science Writing Contest] which is sponsored by a daily press. As a first step, we designed an assessment framework to analyze the students' writing. It is composed of three domains: scientific thinking, logical validity, creativeness. Each domain has three sub-domains. By using the framework, seven raters scored the students' inquiry reports. The findings reveal that the students needed the training for scientific writing. Especially they had great difficulty in the sub-domain of 'suggestion of rational alternative solution' in scientific thinking domain, the sub-domains of 'clearness' and 'coherence' in logical validity domain, and in the sub-domains of 'creative problem solving' and 'creative presentation' in creative domain.

Comparison perceptions of secondary mathematics teachers between Korea and Indonesia in covid-19 era

  • This study compared the perceptions of 548 Korean and Indonesian secondary school teachers in the COVID-19 era and examined factors affecting their intention to continue online learning. Based on survey data, the two countries were compared on seven factors (teaching readiness, challenges and issues, competencies that require training, sources of support, types of support, and endurance). Furthermore, we examined what factors influence the intention to continue online learning. As a result, Korean teachers perceived their teaching readiness for online learning to be less than that of Indonesian teachers. Indonesian teachers perceived that they did not receive sufficient support. Additionally, factors affecting the intention to continue online learning differed depending on the country. Based on these results, we suggested implications for integrating online learning into mathematics education.

아시아계와 남미계 미국인 이민자 엄마의 언어 사용과 학령 전 아동의 학교준비도 사이의 관계 (The Associations between Early Maternal Language Use and School Readiness among Young Children of Asian and Hispanic Immigrant Mothers in the United States)

  • 본 연구는 아시아계와 남미계 미국인 이민자 엄마의 언어 사용과 학령 전 아동의 학교준비도 사이의 관계를 규명하려는 목적으로 수행되었다. 미국 교육부에서 구축한 전국적 대표성을 지니는 출생 코호트 자료에서 이민자 엄마의 자녀 약 1,500명을 대상으로 중다회귀분석 방법을 활용하여 분석을 수행한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아시아계와 남미계 집단 모두에게서 이민자 엄마가 모국어를 사용하는 경우보다 영어만 사용하거나 영어와 모국어를 함께 사용하는 경우에 자녀의 표현적 언어 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아시아계 이민자 엄마가 모국어를 사용하는 경우보다 영어만 사용하거나 영어와 모국어를 함께 사용하는 경우 자녀의 친사회적 행동에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 영어와 모국어를 함께 사용하는 이민자 엄마의 미국 내 거주기간이 길수록 자녀의 학습 접근과 행동 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 이민자 가정의 학령 전 아동의 발달을 도울 수 있는 개입 방안에 대해서 논의하였다.

  • 새로운 정보기술이 등장할 때마다 연구자와 실무자는 이 기술을 어떻게 보급할 것인가에 대해서 탐구하고 있다. e-커머스 분야에서 소셜 커머스는 최근에 나타나 현상으로, 소셜 커머스 현상을 이해하려는 많은 연구가 다양한 연구모형을 제시하고 있다. 이 연구는 기술준비도(TR), 기술수용모형(TAM), 계획된 행동 이론(TPB)를 통합한 연구모형을 제시하였다. PLS 경로모형분석을 통한 분석결과, TPB의 주관적 규범-의도 경로를 제외한 모든 가설적 경로가 유의한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 결과는 소셜 커머스 뿐만 아니라 새로운 정보기술의 수용을 이해하는데 통합모형이 유용하다는 사실을 말해준다. 마지막으로 이 연구는 미래 연구를 위한 함의와 제안을 제시하였다.

한의과대학 예과생의 진로관련 특성에 관한 연구 (Career-related characteristics of premedical students in Korean Medicine college)

  • Objectives : This study was aimed at exploring career-related characteristics of premedical students in Korean Medicine college and those relationships with career development readiness and vocational value. Methods : A total of 140 premedical students participated in the survey. The questionnaire consisted of demographic characteristics and career-related characteristics such as motive for career choice, specialty preference after college graduation, and school life adaptation. Also they responded in the web-survey of career development readiness inventory and vocational value inventory developed by Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training. Eight items of motive for career choice were collected from the pilot study from 70 premedical students. Results : 'Job stability' was the top motive for career choice(25.5%). The average college life adaptation score was relatively low(13.7) : higher in male(14.3) and the early career decision group(14.2) than female (12.9) and late decision group(12.9), which was statistically significant(p=0.019 and p=0.036, respectively) in the subgroup analyses. The result of career development readiness inventory showed that 'self-knowledge' (79.3) and 'confidence on career decision' (78.6) were the two highest, which is similar to the result of the vocational value inventory ('fulfilling abilities' and 'self-improvement'). More characteristics were also described. Conclusions : The results showed that Korean Medicine premedical students have high vocational identity. This study suggested that more specified studies for identifying career-related characteristics for Korean Medical students should be conducted in order to design systematic and professional medical education programs.
