객체에 근거한 예약 스케줄링 기법 (The techniques of object-based reservation scheduling)

  • 복합 스케줄링 문제는 컴퓨터의 기획(planning), 스케줄링(scheduling), 제약만족문제(Constraint Satisfaction Problem, CSP), 객체지향개념(object-oriented concept), 에이전트 시스템(agent system) 등의 여러 분야와 관련이 있다. 사용자의 선호도를 고려한 기법은 제약만족문제와 객체지향개념을 스케줄링에 적용하여 복합 스케줄링 문제를 해결하고자 하였다. 본 논문은 사용자의 선호도를 고려한 기법을 예약 문제에 적용하여 예약 시에 일어날 수 있는 문제점들을 해결하고자 하였다 특히 고객들의 만족도를 놀이기 위해서 고객들의 선호도를 고려하여 스케줄링을 한다. 객체에 근거한 예약 스케줄링 기법은 객체 지향 개념을 기반으로 하여 라 객체들이 사건들을 가지고 있으며, 이 사건들을 주어진 제약들에 만족하도록 목표인 보드에 배정하는 기법이다 각 객체들은 전체적인 만족 도를 고려하면서 그 객체들의 우선순위에 따라서 자원을 배정하고, 자원에 대한 객체의 선호도 차이를 가질 수 있게 하였다. 예약 스케줄링을 할 때 제약은 전역 제약과 지 역 제약으로 구성된다. 보드에 대한 정의와 모든 사건들에 대한 정보를 전역 제약으로 사용하고, 각 객체가 가지는 보드의 슬롯들에 대한 선호도를 지역 제약으로 사용한다. 사건의 배정을 실패하지 않고 백크래킹을 최소화하도록 알을 보는(look-ahead) 백크래킹 기법을 사용하여 전체 객체들의 만족 도를 높였다.

  • The purpose of this thesis is to develop a micro-computer application for GT/MRP (group technology/material requirement planning) integrated system for efficient management of production scheduling. GT and MRP system have been found to have several drawbacks in practice. By GT and MRP system, however, it should be able to construct a GT/MRP integrated system that possesses the advantages of both concepts while alleviating their individual limitations.

  • The objective of this paper is to provide an alternative framework for the integration of process planning and scheduling in cellular manufacturing. The concept of an integrated cellular manufacturing system is defined and the system architecture is presented. In an integrated cellular manufacturing system, there are three modules : the process planning module, the manufacturing-cell design module, and the cell-scheduling module. For each module, the tasks and their activities are explained.

  • In competitive electricity markets, the System Operator (SO) coordinates the overall maintenance schedules when the collective maintenance schedule reported to 50 by Gencos not satisfy the specified operating criteria, such as system reliability or supply adequacy. This paper presented a method that divides generator maintenance scheduling of the 50 into a master-problem and a sub-problem. Master-problem is schedule coordination and sub-problem is DC-optimal power flow. If sub-problem is infeasible, we use the algorithm of modifying operating criteria of master-problem. And, the 50 should use the open information only, because the information such as cost function of a generator and bidding Price is highly crucial for the strategies of profit maximization.

  • In this research, we propose packet scheduling algorithm considering different QoS characteristics of real-time traffic and non-real-time traffic in the next generation wireless communication system serving the multimedia traffic and a new efficient framing method cooperated with this packet scheduler. When the selected traffic classes of the selected users are transmitted, our proposed framing method can increase the number of serviced traffic classes by mixing the many different traffic classes within one frame considering data rate decided by the allocated AMC (Adaptive Modulation and Coding) option. Using this proposed method, the fairness among the traffic classes can be achieved and the system performance for total throughput and delay can be enhanced. Simulations are performed to analyze the performance of the proposed framing method. Our proposed packet scheduler and framing method will be applied to the next generation multimedia wireless communication system serving many traffic classes.

  • This paper introduces a production scheduling system for the block assembly shop in a shipbuilding company. We are to make a schedule for the assembly shop and related subassembly production shop. The objectives of the scheduling system are balancing of the workload of the subassembly shops as well as the assembly shop. There are a number of technological and resource constraints including assembly space restriction which is most important and critical resource in the shop. It is very hard and time consuming to consider the two problems, the workload balancing and the spatial allocation problem, simultaneously, and hence, we analyze the two problems independently. The first problem has already been introduced(고시근, 1996), and the overall appearance of the system and the spatial allocation algorithm are presented in this paper.

  • Recently, SCM(Supply Chain Management) embraces the dynamic environmental changes of the participatory bodies in supply chain. Under this dynamic SCM environment, the selection of supplier and outsourcing company is very important. In their selection, the productivity and expertise of suppliers and outsourcing companies are, of course, to be considered as important factors, but whether or nottheycanmeettheduedateisacritical factor. In particular, this is true because an order-based manufacture ought to have CTP(Capable To Promise). For this purpose, by capitalizing onthevirtualmanufactureundertheSCM, this paper has tried to suggest a new agent system for the selection of supplier and outsourcing company. While performing virtual manufacture based on the integration scheduling, this system acquires the production environment and scheduling information of both suppliers and outsourcing companies on a real-timebasis,thusmakingintegrationschedulingpossible. Also, in order to provetheviabilityofthisstudy,thispaper has selected a specific domain and applied it.

  • Nowadays, control systems consist of smart sensors, smart actuators, and controllers connected via fieldbus. Some devices such as motors in plant environments generate high degrees of EMI or noise. This noise may cause communication errors and make the successful transmission of data longer. Therefore, the noise condition has to be considered at the design of a reliable control system based on a network. This paper presents a scheduling method of task and message to guarantee the given end-to-end constraints under noise environments. A noise model with multi-sources of noise is used, and the analysis method of message's response time is presented when the noise model is applied to CAN (Controller Area Network). Two kinds of noise models are applied to an example system, and the effect to each control loop s end-to-end response time is analyzed. We believe that the proposed method help system designers design the control system guaranteeing its requirements under noise environment.

  • 유비쿼터스 환경에서 멀티 에이전트 시스템은 지능화 서비스를 제공하는데 유용하다. 본 논문에서는 멀티 에이전트 시스템에서의 통신 성능을 향상시키기 위한 새로운 스케줄링 서비스 모델을 제안한다. 이 모델은 에이전트 간에 교환되는 메시지의 수와 형식화된 ACL 메시지를 기반으로 가중치를 적용하여 우선순위를 할당한다. 제안된 방식은 JADE 플랫폼과 비교하여 메시지 당 처리시간과 총 소요시간을 적게 하는 것을 실험을 통해 보여준다. 더욱이 제안된 방식은 확장성 있는 메시지 처리 시스템을 만들 수 있게 한다.
