AlN 버퍼층위에 증착된 다결정 3C-SiC 박막의 라만 산란 특성 (Raman Scattering Characteristics of Polycrystalline 3C-SiC Thin Films deposited on AlN Buffer Layer)

  • This Paper describes the Raman scattering characteristics of polycrystalline (Poly) 3C-SiC thin films, in which they were deposited on AlN buffer layer by APCVD using hexamethyldisilane (MHDS) and carrier gases (Ar+$H_2$). When the Raman spectra of SiC films deposited on the AlN layer of before and after annealing were worked according to growth temperature, D and G bands of graphite were measured. It can be explained that poly 3C-SiC films admixe with nanoparticle graphite and its C/Si rate is higher than ($C/Si\;{\approx}\;3$) that of the conventional SiC, which has no D and G bands related to graphite. From the Raman shifts of 3C-SiC films deposited at $1180^{\circ}C$ on the AlN layer of after annealing, the biaxial stress of poly 3C-SiC films was obtained as 896 MPa.

전선 매연 생성 특성 연구를 위한 광산란법-광소멸법의 비교 (Comparison between a Light-Scattering and a Light-Extinction Methods for the Study on Soot Yielding Characteristics of an Electric Cable Fire)

  • Significant portion of the fire accident is caused by some troubles in electric circuits. To prevent the fire induced by those electric trouble, some indications of electric fire need to be suitably detected at the first stage of the fire development. With this background, the characteristics of soot yielding of electric cables have been investigated using a light extinction method. In this study, a light scattering method was compared with the light extinction method. A slot-type premixed-flame combustor was traversed to bum three types of electric cables by compulsion, then the mass decrease rate and the soot densities were measured. According to the experimental results, the light scattering method is preferred to the light extinction method when the soot yield ratio is relatively small. Thus the former method is more suitable to detect the occurrence of an electric fire in a power distributer box.

새만금 내 동계 사료작물 재배에 따른 미세먼지 농도 변화 모니터링 (Monitoring of Particulate Matter Concentration for Forage Crop Cultivation during Winter Season in Saemangeum)

  • 새만금은 염분과 미사질 토양으로 인해 지표면이 건조하고 함수율이 낮아 다른 지역에 비해 식생피복이 낮다. 식생 피복도가 낮은 지역에서는 바람에 의한 침식으로 인해 먼지가 비산될 가능성이 높습니다. 새만금 간척지에서 견딜 수 있는 작물을 재배하여 식생 피복도를 높이면 바닥의 유속을 줄여 비산먼지를 줄일 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 새만금 간척지에 겨울철 동계 밭작물을 재배하여 미세먼지 및 비산먼지 발생을 억제하는 효과를 분석하는 것이다. 새만금 간척지에서 보리 0.5ha, 라이밀 0.5ha를 재배하는 동안 농작업 및 생육단계에 따라 미세먼지 농도를 모니터링하였다. PM-10, PM-2.5 및 PM-1.0 농도의 변화는 풍하측, 풍상측, 경작지 내부를 중심으로 모니터링하였다. 모니터링 결과 PM-1.0은 작물 재배에 거의 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, PM-10과 PM-2.5의 농도는 경운과 수확에 따라 증가하였고 수확에 비해 경운 시 PM-10과 PM-2.5의 농도 증가가 더 높았다. 작물의 생육단계에 따라 비산먼지 억제효과를 보였으며, 유묘기보다 출수기에서 비산먼지 억제효과가 높게 나타났다. 따라서 토지피복효과 이외에 캐노피에 따른 비산먼지 억제효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 작물재배에 따른 비산먼지 발생 및 억제 효과에 대해 알 수 있었다.

  • 물체와 X선의 상호작용로 발생하는 산란선으로 야기되는 공간 산란선량은 대부분이 저에너지 영역의 전자기파로 인체에 비교적 쉽게 흡수되어 방사선 피폭정도가 증가하게 된다. 이러한 공간 산란 선량은 방사선작업 종사자 및 환자의 방사선 피폭 정도 지표로도 사용되고 있으며 간접적으로 발생하는 공간 산란 선량을 줄여 피폭을 저감화하기 위한 방안의 필요성이 마련될 필요성이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공간산란 선량을 저감화 방안으로 무납 방사선 차폐 시트를 제시하였고 가슴 X선 촬영검사를 기준으로 몬테카를로(MC; Monte Carlo) 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 거리 변화에 따른 갑상샘과 생식선 위치에서 흡수되는 산란선의 흡수선량을 산출하였고 실측치와 차폐율을 비교 평가하였다.

도시가스시설에서 안전밸브의 분출성능에 관한 평가 연구 (Evaluation of Popping Performance of Safety Valves in City Gas Facilities)

  • In order to evaluate the performances of safety valves for low pressure, the popping pressure and flow rate of the natural gas have been investigated. The measured results of the popping pressure show that there is a big scattering depending on the manufacture year of a safety valve. And sample A showed the ideal popping pressure mode compared to other B and C samples. The popping flow rate of the safety valve is proportional to the seat size as the inlet pressure increases. These results may be used as a guideline for a design and diagnosis of the safety valve.

$M{\ddot{o}}ssbauer$ 선원용 콜리메이터 설계 및 제작 (Collimator Design and Manufacture for $M{\ddot{o}}ssbauer$ Source)

  • 컴프턴 산란 실험을 수행하기 위해 $M{\ddot{o}}ssbauer$ 선원용 콜리메이터를 제작하였다. 콜리메이터 제작에 앞서 방사선량 평가를 위해 조사선량을 계산하였고, 동일 위치에서 GM 계측기를 이용해 측정을 수행하였다. 계산 및 실험결과는 잘 일치하였다. 10 cm에서의 조사선량률이 2 mR/h 정도이므로 SUS303을 사용하여 콜리메이터를 제작하였다. 콜리메이터의 35 mm, 65 mm Hole에서 방출되는 방사선을 4' 감마카메라를 사용해 측정하여 감마카메라 위치에서 2차원 방사선 영상을 얻을 수 있었다. 감마카메라 위치에서 콜리메이터의 집속 크기는 각각 8.0 mm, 5.8 mm로 측정되었다.

메탈로센 선형 저밀도 폴티에틸렌의 결정화 거동 (Crystallization Characteristics of Metallocene Low Density Polyethylene)

  • 광산란 장치를 이용하여 메탈로센 촉매 하에 제조된 메탈로센 선형 저밀도 폴리에틸렌의 결정화거동을 Ziegler-Natta 촉매에 의하여 제조된 선형 저밀도 폴리에틸렌과 비교하여 보았다. 특히 branching수와 길이 그리고 공단량체의 함량이 결정화 거동에 미치는 영향을 중점적으로 살펴보았다. 같은 수의 branching 수를 가지고 있는 메탈로센 선형 저밀도 폴리에틸렌은 기존의 선형 저밀도 폴리에틸렌에 비하여 결정화를 시작하기 위한 induction time이 길어짐을 알 수 있으나 구정의 성장속도는 두 경우가 유사함을 확인하였다. 메탈로센 선형 저밀도 폴리에틸렌의 branching 수를 감소시킬 경우 induction time과 구정성장속도가 모두 빨라짐을 알 수 있었다. 또한 일반적으로 최대 구정의 크기는 branching 수에 관계없이 메탈로센 선형 저밀도 폴리에틸렌이 기존의 선형 저밀도 폴리에틸렌에 비하여 커짐을 알 수 있었다.

Artifical Groundwater Recharge Using Underground Piping Method

  • Recently, rapid industrialization, urbanization and higher living standards accelerate to increase groundwater consumption resulting in continuously dropping groundwater elevations. To maintain enough groundwater volume without dropping groundwater elevations, the proper groundwater rechatge is necessary. The groundwater rechatge can be classified into two categories which are natural rechatge and artiticial rechatge. Even though the natural rechatge through by dired infiltration from the rainfall is desirable, the artificial groundwater rechatge is necessaty when the increment of groundwater consumption exceeds natural recharge rate. Well method and scattering method are utilized as artificial rechatging method, a severe disadvantage, which is the reduction of the void of soil surface, is indicated in the well method. Recently, the underground piping method, which is a scattering method, is receiving increasing attention as a proper recharging method. The method is indirectly to supply water to the underground using an underground piping system. Therefore, the void of soil surface is not severely reduced and better infiltration rate can be achieved. In this paper, the artificial groundwater rechatge using underground piping method is investigated through experiments and numerical analysis. The influence of the groundwater by underground piping method is evaluated through comparing recharging heights. Good agreements between experiments and numerical analysis are obtained and the artificial groundwater recharge by underground piping method is well tested and verified.

X선촬영시(線撮影時) 연부조직(軟部組織) 두께에 따른 선량분포(線量分布)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Distribution of X-ray according to the Thickness of Soft Tissue in Radiography)

  • When X-rays were projected into a patient, there occured the phenomena such as penetration, absorption and scattering etc. The penetrating rays were recorded on films as X-ray image used for diagnosis but scattered rays caused the radiation hazard both to the patient, specialist and technicians. The soft tissue includes many organs which are sensitive to the radiation and in may occupy $40{\sim}50%$ of body weight. Therefore X-rays should be carefully projected to the patient and it is strongly recommended to analyse the distribution of X-rays, when ever the patient is exposed to X-rays. In this study, the distribution of X-ray according to the thickness, the radiation field and the tube voltages (kVp) in soft tissue, the following results were obtained: 1. Total transmitted rays which kept the step with X-ray tube voltage (kVp) increased in proportion to the increasing of X-ray tube voltage. 2. The scattered ray rate in the total transmitted ray was not significantly found with X-ray tube voltage. 3. The affecting factors of the scattered ray rate in total transmitted ray were shown through the radiation field and the thickness. 4. The dose of scattered ray by the angle was observed more in direction of primary ray ($0^{\circ}$) and back scattering ($160^{\circ}$) than in direction of $90^{\circ}$. 5. The more the distance from phantom to the patient should be less distribution of scattered ray.

  • When unattenuated x-ray radiation passes through the object it is transmitted and scattered from objectes and impinging on the film. During this process certain radiation is absorbed within the object and others transmitted in reduced scattering. The scattering radiation influence upon radiation image quality, confining x-ray beam which means scattering radiation produce increased fog on x-ray film image and as a consequence decrease contrast and less detail of the film there for the elimination of fog and for absorbing scattered radiation, the grid has been used between the object and the film in order to rid of scattering rays. Using grid is good method for the qualification of the better image as well as in using air gap technique. The grid is easy to manipulate and promote good efficiency which is defined by ICRU and JIS. It is the purpose to study for eliminating scattered radiation from the tissue equivalent acryl phantom using grid, we have studied and evaluated the grid permeability about the x-ray exposure, the selection of grid ratio according to phantom thickness, on x-ray exposure are performed as follows. 1. The penetrating ratio of primary x-ray is remarkably decreased by increasing of the grid ratio, but it is almost not influenced in KVP difference and phantom thickness. 2. The scattered radiation is proportionaly increased by thickness of the phantom, having nothing to do with grid ratios. 3. The relative between the penetration rate of primary and secondary x-ray is improved by increasing grid ratio, and decreased by phantom thickness, and slightly decreased by high tube voltage. 4. The grid of 5:1 and 10:1 ratio are adequate to the phantom of 10cm and 15cm thickness, respectively.
