한국판 신체태도 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구 (Study on the Validation of the Korean Version of Grindler Body Attitude Scale)

  • 본 연구에서는 Grindler(1991)가 개발한 신체태도 척도(Grindler Body Attitude Sale)을 한국어로 번안하여 한국판 신체태도 척도를 구성하고 이 척도의 신뢰도 및 타당도를 검증하기 위한 연구를 진행하였다. 551명의 대학생을 대상으로 문항의 내용분석과 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 공인 타당도 검증을 실시하였다. 문항 분석과 탐색적 요인분석의 결과 한국판 신체태도 척도는 총 3요인 모형과 35문항 구조가 가장 적합한 것으로 나타났으며, 각 요인은 신체에 대한 인식태도, 신체에 대한 평가태도 신체에 대한 관리 태도로 명명하였다. 확인적 요인분석 결과 3요인 모델의 적합도가 양호한 것으로 나타났으며 척도의 공인 타당도 및 변별 타당도를 검증하기 위해 관련 척도와의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 스트레스 반응과는 부적상관, 신체 존중감, 주관적 안녕감, 신체 만족도와는 정적인 상관을 보였다. 마지막으로 연구의 제한점과 향후 연구를 위한 제안을 하였다.

한국판 헬리콥터 부모역할 지각 척도(Helicopter Parenting Scale) 타당화: 30대 초반까지의 청년을 대상으로 (Validation of the Korean version of the Helicopter Parenting Scale for an expanded age range of young adults)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability and validity of the Korean version of the Helicopter Parenting Scale (HPS) using a sample of Korean young adults aged 19-34. This study is to expand the previous validation studies that exclusively focused on college students. Method: The survey data came from 1,140 young adults (398 19-24 year olds, 376 25-29 year olds, and 366 30-34 year olds) who had never been married and had at least one living parent. The young adults' perceived helicopter parenting was assessed by 10 items of the HPS for the mother and the father separately. All of the analyses including exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were conducted for three age groups (19-24, 25-29, and 30-34 years) and for the mother and the father separately. Results: We found that three items were problematic for all age groups and for both the fathers' and mothers' helicopter parenting. After removing these three items, confirmatory factor analyses showed that the one-factor model fit our data well and the estimated factor loadings were suitable. The results were consistent throughout the age groups and the parent's gender. We also confirmed criterion-related validity using correlations between paternal and maternal helicopter parenting and three dimensions of parental career expectations indicated a reliable. Conclusion: The Korean version of HPS with seven items was found to be a reliable and valid measure for Korean young adults aged 19-34 years old.

한국형 보육교사 직무만족척도개발을 위한 타당화 예비연구 (Preliminary Study for Validation of Development of Korean Childcare Teacher's Job Satisfaction Scale)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a "Korean Childcare Teacher's Job Satisfaction Scale"(KCTJSS) and to evaluate its reliability and validity. KCTJSS was 72 items and 6 point Likert scale. Participants consisted of 211 childcare teachers by purposive sampling. Results were as follows: First, Exploratory factor analysis resulted in 40 items composed of 6 factors : The principal's childcare center operation system, working environments and welfare, social recognition, amount of work and time management, relationships with co-workers, relationships with parents. Second, the confirmatory factor analysis supported a 6 factor structure. Third, Criterion-related validity was confirmed by significant correlations of the present scale with Early Childhood Job Satisfaction Survey(Jorde-Bloom, 1989). Fourth, the reliability of factors using Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ appeared high, ranging from .83 to .93.

  • Daylighting is a powerful vehicle of architectural expression and provides buildings a living quality due to constantly changing properties in intensity and color. As an environmental system, daylighting should be subjected to the same level of rigorous analysis and review that any environmental system receives. For example, increasing cooling loads and causing visual displeasure are easily occurred owing to the excessive sunlight through windows. Therefore, daylighting performance attributes and physical characteristics must be described qualitatively and quantitatively in early design process. In various architectural daylighting performance evaluation methods, the scale model experiment can be applied due to it's simplicity and usefulness. So, this study aims to evaluate the validation of scale model experiments in architectural daylighting performance. For the purpose, two scale model experiments under clear sky are conducted. And, the validation of the experiments are evaluated by computer simulations.

유아기 부모의 수학적 상호작용 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구 (The Development and Validation of a Scale to Measure the Mathematical Interaction of Young Children's Parents)

  • This study aimed to develop and validate a scale which could be used to evaluate mathematical interactions of parents with their young children. The subjects comprised 408 mothers of 4-6-year-old children. Means, standard deviation, $x^2$, Cramer's V, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, Pearson correlations, and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ were calculated. First, 49 items were developed through a review of relevant research, parent interviews, confirmation of item adequacy and content validity. These items were then edited down to a final list of 24 items representing 4 factors identified by exploratory factor analysis. Second, this 24-item. 4-factor scale was shown to have adequate construct validity, norm validity, and reliability by confirmatory factor analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. In conclusion, the final mathematical interaction scale for young children's parents was composed of 24 items with 4 factors: "interaction regarding numbers and operations, measurements, and patterns", "interaction regarding data collection and result presentation", "interaction with picture books", and "interaction regarding shapes and figures"

공학적 공감능력 검사도구 개발 및 타당화 연구 (Development and Validation of a Scale to Measure Engineering Empathy)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and validate an Engineering Empathy Instrument. Engineering empathy is defined as the ability that encompasses the following three qualities, a skill to interpret social issues and phenomenon that may occur in the process of interactions between human beings and engineering systems, a practical orientation that enables one to take stakeholders' perspectives to carry out an engineering project, and a professional way of being that acknowledges empathic skills and associated practice orientations. Based on this notion, we develop a scale to measure engineering empathy and have surveyed 429 engineering students. Evidence for the validity and reliability of the scale is presented. In conclusion, we find that engineering empathy can be measured and conceptualized as three domains: a Learnable Skill (ELS), a Practical Orientation (EPO), and a Professional Way (EPW). We also find that sophomores show the highest level of engineering empathy as compared with other graders. While students accumulate technical knowledge, their understanding about engineering in social and interpretational contexts gets weakened. This implies that engineering education necessarily emphasizes the impacts of engineering solutions in interpersonal, societal, technologies, and environmental contexts.

유아교사의 교육과정 운영 자율성 척도 개발 및 타당화: 2019 개정 누리과정을 중심으로 (Development and Validation of the Early Childhood Teacher's Autonomy Scale in the Implementation of Early Childhood Curriculum : Focusing on the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to develop an early childhood teacher's autonomy scale in the implementation of the Early Childhood Curriculum and to verify its validity and reliability. Methods: A literature review and a delphi survey were conducted in order to explore conceptual characteristics and develop a preliminary questionnaire. A main survey was conducted on 375 early childhood teacher to test their item quality, validity and reliability. Results: The final scale was composed of 24 items with four factors: 'support for child-centered play environment and interaction' (7 items), 'use of learning community' (4 items), 'cooperation and participation with family and local community' (6 items), and 'flexible daily management' (7 items). And the scale was verified as a stable and reliable tool. Conclusion/Implications: This is expected to contribute to the correct understanding of children's education and to actively realize the autonomy of early childhood teachers in the implementation of the Early Childhood Curriculum.

장애인에 대한 태도 측정도구(SADP and ATDP-O)의 타당도 검증 (Validation of the Scale of Attitudes towards Disabled Person(SADP and ATDP-O) in Korea)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 Antonak(1982)이 개발한 SADP and ATDP-O(Scale of Attitudes for Disabled Persons and Attitudes towards Disabled Persons Scale-Original)척도의 타당도를 검증하고 국내에서의 활용방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 공무원, 의료인, 교사, 언론인, 장애인복지시설 종사자로 구성된 표적집단과 일반집단으로 구분한 비장애인 500명을 표집하여 척도의 타당도 및 신뢰도를 검증하고, 표적집단과 일반집단 간의 장애인에 대한 태도 차이를 비교하였다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과, 원 척도는 '염세주의-고정관념', '낙관주의-인권', '손상된 성격' 세 가지 차원의 15개 문항으로 정리되었고, 확인적 요인분석 결과, 재구성한 척도의 적합성은 수용할만한 수준(good/reasonable fit)인 것으로 나타났다. 전체척도의 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ 값은 .8이 넘어 안정적인 신뢰도를 보였으며, DFS(Disability Factor Scale)와는 전반적으로 높은 수준에서 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계를 나타내 수렴타당도가 확보되었다. 또한 표적집단이 일반집단보다 장애인에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 지닌 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 타당도가 검증된 도구는 다양한 장애유형에 활용할 수 있도록 장애유형별 검증이 필요하며, 척도의 활용으로 장애인에 대한 태도를 개선하기 위한 임상적, 실천적 방안이 모색되어야 할 것이다.

Partial turbulence simulation and aerodynamic pressures validation for an open-jet testing facility

  • This paper describes partial turbulence simulation and validation of the aerodynamic pressures on building models for an open-jet small-scale 12-Fan Wall of Wind (WOW) facility against their counterparts in a boundary-layer wind tunnel. The wind characteristics pertained to the Atmospheric Boundary Layer (ABL) mean wind speed profile and turbulent fluctuations simulated in the facility. Both in the wind tunnel and the small-scale 12-Fan WOW these wind characteristics were produced by using spires and roughness elements. It is emphasized in the paper that proper spectral density parameterization is required to simulate turbulent fluctuations correctly. Partial turbulence considering only high frequency part of the turbulent fluctuations spectrum was simulated in the small-scale 12-Fan WOW. For the validation of aerodynamic pressures a series of tests were conducted in both wind tunnel and the small-scale 12-fan WOW facilities on low-rise buildings including two gable roof and two hip roof buildings with two different slopes. Testing was performed to investigate the mean and peak pressure coefficients at various locations on the roofs including near the corners, edges, ridge and hip lines. The pressure coefficients comparisons showed that open-jet testing facility flows with partial simulations of ABL spectrum are capable of inducing pressures on low-rise buildings that reasonably agree with their boundary-layer wind tunnel counterparts.
