  • BY the Transformers and reactors, the input electrical energy is converted into magnetic energy. At the end through the magnetic energy was passed at the output parameter. Specially At the flyback transformer or a reactor airgap were designed to contain more magnetic energy. But that work is very difficult for the optimal design. It is that Contradictions are between the length of the Air-gap, Winding inductance, DC bias. As to e Several conflicting conditions in order to determine the optimum Air-gap has a lot of experience and trial & error is necessary. The approach proposed in this paper, the auxiliary winding on the core attached to part of primary core, that by applying a DC voltage has a dramatic effect like Core with designed Air-gap. This inventiveness and advantage is to regulate arbitrarily the Saturation Flux Quantity by the input signal to secondary winding. Accordingly obtained the biggest effect is that increasing limits of the saturation current destined by the material and shape of the conventional core. In other words, that can decreas the size of the transformer and reactor, While maintaining the current saturation capacity. A study on Left turn Capacity by Bay Length (Bay길이에 따른 좌회전 용량산정에 관한 연구)

  • The primary objective of this study is to develop a reliable method for estimating the left turn capacity at the signalized intersection. This study is performed during periods of congestion. Multi left turn lane(bay lane and exclusive lane) approaches are examined. When more than one left turn lane exists, traffic volumes are not distributed equally over each lane. The fundamental approach taken in this study is measuring headways on left turn lanes with altering the bay length from 20m to 120m. Left turn lane is divided into 3 sub-sections in this study. These are SLP section(start-up lost time Period), SFP section(saturation flow period), LSP section(lane selection period). Saturation flow rates are evaluated for each sub section periods. As a results of analysis, it has been confirmed that the left turn capacity can be estimated by left turn bay length and effective green time for left turn. The left turn bay length adjustment factor is suggested in this study.

A Study on the Small Isolator Characteristics and Design of Mobile Phones (이동통신 단말기용 소형 아이솔레이터 특성 및 설계에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, it is analyzed lumped element isolators analytically by the analysis program using scattering matrixes including ferrite saturation magnetization, external direct current magnetic field and strip line length and width, designed and experimented the small isolator of mobile phone. The simulation results show that the characteristics of the isolator are affected by external R, C, length and width of strip line and ferrite width and saturation magnetization sensitivity. We proposed the isolator specification applied cellular and PCS mobile phones, experimented the isolator for cellular mobile phones. From the experimented result, isolation and return loss are measured below 20 dB, insertion loss is below 0.7 dB, bandwidth is about 44 MHz at center frequency 836.5 KHz. The implemented isolator has better performances than the conventional one.

  • The NMOSFET with gate length of 0.1$\mu$m is fabricated by mix-and-match method. In this device, the electron beam lithography is used to form the gate layer, while other layers are formed by the stepper. The gate oxide is 7nm thick, and the device structure is normal LDD structure. The saturation Gm for gate length of 0.1$\mu$m is 246mS/mm. The subthreshold slope is 180mV/decade for 0.1$\mu$m gate length, but the slope is 80mV/decade for 0.3$\mu$m gate length.

Performance analysis and saturation bound research of cyclic-quorum multichannel MAC protocol based on Markov chain model

  • In high diversity node situation, single-channel MAC protocols suffer from many collisions. To solve this problem, the research of multichannel MAC protocol has become a hotspot. And the cyclic quorum-based multichannel (CQM) MAC protocol outperformed others owing to its high frequency utilization. In addition, it can avoid the bottleneck that others suffered from and can be easily realized with only one transceiver. To obtain the accurate performance of CQM MAC protocol, a Markov chain model, which combines the channel hopping strategy of CQM protocol and IEEE 802.11 distributed coordination function (DCF), is proposed. The metrics (throughput and average packet transmission delay) are calculated in performance analysis, with respect to node number, packet rate, channel slot length and channel number. The results of numerical analysis show that the optimal performance of CQM protocol can be obtained in saturation bound situation. And then we obtain the saturation bound of CQM system by bird swarm algorithm (BSA). Finally, the Markov chain model and saturation bound are verified by Qualnet platform. And the simulation results show that the analytic and simulation results match very well.

  • In this paper, we analyzed characteristic of window type current transformer and we performed the optimal design consider to the loss; in order to design the current transformer figured signal of overcurrent warning circuit. The core size of window type current transformer was determined by the secondary coil turns. We analyzed current waveform, which is appeared by the number of coil turns on the core, we made sure the relation of secondary coil turns and load resistance in order to improve the non-sinusoidal wave by the flux saturation of the current transformer core. Additionally, we did improvement of the accuracy and optimal design through the transformation of the inner diameter and the stack length when the outer diameter of core is sustaining.

  • By using a coupled circuit, time-stepping, two-dimensional finite element method (2-D FEM), the performance of a stand-alone permanent-magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) with inset rotor can be computed without involving the classical two-axis model. The effects of interpolar air gap length and armature resistance on the load characteristics are investigated. It is shown that the interpolar flux density, and hence the amount of voltage compensation, is affected by magnetic saturation. Validity of the coupled circuit and field analysis is confirmed by experiments on a prototype generator. The machine exhibits an approximately level load characteristic when it is supplying an isolated unity-power-factor load.

  • Saturation routing algorithm is known to be an effective routing mechanism for tactical application and packet radio networks, since it minimizes the call set-up time and does not have to maintain routing tables. But, it is known that it has significant drawbacks with respect to the network efficiency, the overhead on the control messages [1]. We consider a tactical circuit-switched grid network with a maximum of tour links and two priority classes of voice traffic. Using the minimum first-derivative length (MFDL) path, we improve the blocking probability performance of a circuit-switched network without increasing the call set-up time and processor loading of the algorithm.

  • Applying the magnetically levitated transportation system, which is noncontact bearing system, to solve the problems such as transformation of original form or flaw of iron plate caused by transportation of thin iron plate which required high quality as body of motor vehicle, materials of electronic devices etc.. Magnetic saturation phenomena caused by thickness of iron plate and gap size between magnets. In case of iron plate, the vibration mode will be considered since vibration occurs during transportation. In order to solve the problems caused by vibration, choose the levitation system method using numbers of magnet, magnetic saturation for thickness and length of iron plate with parameters in location and gap of magnet. In this paper, we will suggest the whole design technique of magnetically levitated transportation system, namely method of magnetic attraction and transportation system

  • Preparation of hexagonal strontium-ferrite by modified spray co-roasting(MSC:H) which is expected to shorkn the length of the process and to elevate the magnetic properties of hard ferrite was studied. We prapared $Fe_2O_3/SrCO_3$ mixture powders by MSCR after stirring ionized $FeCI_2$ in distilled water with solid state $SrCO_3$. And then calcined the mixture powders up to $1150^{\circ}C$ for Sr-ferrite powders It is possible to prepare hexaferrite powders with high saturation magnetization (Ms > 69 emu/g) , coercivity (Hc > 4000 Oe) The nlagnetic values of saturation magnetization iire higher than those achieved by the conventional technique.
