대학 간 통합 웹기반 중환자간호실습 콘텐츠 개발 및 적용 (Development of Web-based Multimedia Contents for the Critical Care Practice of Nursing Students through Inter-College Collaboration)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop Web-based multimedia contents for supporting student nurses' clinical practice on critical care, and to evaluate learners' responses. Methods: Based on the steps of Assessment, Design, Development, Implementation, & Evaluation(ADDIE) model, a total of 13 self-directed learning modules including live lectures and real video clips were developed through faculty collaboration of nine nursing colleges in Gwangju and Chonnam province. The finally developed multimedia contents were published on the Web of the learning management system at a local e-learning center. Results: The Web contents were evaluated after self-learning by 81 junior college nursing students who were encouraged to study it at their own pace during their two-week clinical practice at a medical or surgical intensive care unit of a university hospital and two hospitals. The knowledge (t = -27.66, p < .001) and self-evaluated clinical performance level(t = 7.54, p < .001) were significantly increased after learning of the Web contents and clinical practice, and satisfaction level that measured post-test only was 4.0 out of 5 point. Conclusion: The use of Web contents for critical care need to be extended as a complimentary material in a class room lecture or clinical practice of students to increase their self-learning ability and understandings of clinical knowledge and situation.

간호대학생의 자기표출과 임상수행능력간의 관계 (The Relationship Between Self-Disclosure and Clinical Competency in Nursing Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the level of self-disclosure and clinical competency and the relationships between self-disclosure and clinical competency in nursing students. The subjects were consisted of 662 nursing students from six universities and five junior colleges. The data were collected conveniently by self reporting questionnaires given to the students from September 13 to October 23, 1999. The instruments for this study were JSDQ and clinical competency measurement tool. The data were analyzed by SAS/PC program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient. The results of this study are as follows : 1. The mean score for the level of self- disclosure was 3.29$\pm$0.98. 2. The mean score for the level of clinical competency was 3.93$\pm$1.00. The mean score for the dimension of skills, professional attitudes, teaching and coordinating, nursing process, interpersonal relationships were 4.09$\pm$0.77, 4.08$\pm$0.82, 3.97$\pm$ 0.90, 3.77$\pm$0.76 and 3.37$\pm$0.75 respectively. 3. The statistically significant difference in the score of the self-disclosure according to the educational background (F=9.42, p<.01), grade (F=5.59, p<.01), religion (F=2.68, p<.05), satisfaction of nursing major (F=14.20, p<.0001), and satisfaction of nursing practice (F=5.42, p<.01) was obtained. 4. The statistically significant difference in the score of the clinical competency according to the grade (F=32.44, p<.0001), achieved performance records (F=3.52, p<.05), satisfaction of nursing major (F=12.06, p<.0001), satisfaction of nursing practice (F=27.35, p<.0001) was obtained. 5. The data shows the positive correlations between self-disclosure and skill (r=.3231, p<.0001), between self- disclosure and teaching/coordinating (r=.1912, p<.0001), between self-disclosure and interpersonal relationship (r=.3064, p<.0001), between self-disclosure and professional attitude (r=.2789, p<.0001), between self-disclosure and nursing process (r=.2766, p<.0001).

한방간호 실습교육 개발을 위한 간호학생의 임상실습 실태 분석 (An Analysis on Nursing Students' Clinical Situation for Development of Oriental Nursing Practice Education)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop clinical education of Oriental Nursing. Methods: The subjects were one hundred and ninety-three students who have completed clinical practice. The questionnaires were composed of experience type and Oriental Nursing practices(25 items), level of satisfaction(20 items), difficulty level of practices(6 items), and preparation level of practice instructor(5 items). The reliability were Chronbach's $\alpha$=.84, .86, .74, and .93 respectively. Frequencies, percentage, t-test, and Pearson's Correlation was used in data analysis using SPSS PC+ 11.0. Results: Nursing students recognized that they had difficulties caused by a lack of knowledge of Oriental medicine, of learning the uniqueness of the nurse's role and lack of nurse's enthusiasm in teaching students. However, they were confident in preparing acupuncture and implementing Moxibustion, large Moxibustion, Bu-Hang therapy, aroma therapy and on administration of medicines and control of temperature of the medicines, exercise and rehabilitation. Therefore, instructors should train nursing students by developing a unique Oriental Nursing practice and reinforcement of nurses' independent and cooperative roles through the acquisition of Oriental Medical knowledge and terminology. It is necessary that they develop an educational program based on Oriental Nursing practice, perform consistently within the program and train its teaching faculty and instructors.

간호대학생의 임상실습스트레스, 의사소통능력 및 소진과의 관계 (The Relationship between Clinical Practice Stress, Communication Competence and Burnout in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 임상실습스트레스, 의사소통능력 및 소진과의 관계를 규명하여, 간호대학생의 소진을 감소시키기 위한 프로그램 개발 마련의 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도하였다. M시 소재한 1개 대학교 임상실습 경험이 있는 3·4학년 간호대학생 대상으로 2020년 9월 17일부터 9월 30일까지 자료수집 하였다. 간호대학생의 임상실습스트레스는 3.08점, 의사소통능력 3.38점, 소진 2.94점으로 5점 만점에 보통 이상으로 나타났다. 간호대학생의 일반적 특성에 따른 임상실습스트레스 차이는 실습만족도(F=7.058 p=.001)에 유의한 차이를 보였고, 소진은 연령(F=5.159 p=.007), 입학동기(F=3.034 p=.019), 실습만족도(F=7.718 p=.001)에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 임상실습스트레스와 의사소통능력은 유의한 음의 상관관계(r=-.223, p<.001), 임상실습스트레스와 소진은 유의한 양의 상관관계(r=.194 p<.001)를 나타냈으며, 의사소통능력과 소진은 유의한 음의 상관관계r=-.155, p=.032)를 나타났다. 따라서 간호대학생의 소진을 감소시킬 수 있는 교육 방안을 모색하고, 의사소통능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 프로그램 개발이 요구된다.

물리치료과 학생들의 임상실습에 대한 태도조사 (A Survey on Attitude Related to Physical Therapy Students's Clinical Practice)

  • 물리치료과 학생들의 임상실습에 대한 태도를 조사하기 위해 1993년 1월 11일부터 3월 22일까지 10주 동안 대구보건전문대학 물리치료과 3학년 66명과 안동전문대학 3학년 35명의 총 101명을 대상으로 분석하였으며 그 내용은 다음과 같다. A. 각 영역별 빈도수 1. 임상실습에 대한 선입견 및 불안감 중 '지식부족'이 $83.2\%$로 가장 높았다. 2. 임상실습에 대한 기대감 중 '환자를 직접 대할 수 있는 기회'가 $94.1\%$로 가장 높았다. 3. 임상실습 경험 후 불안감 중 '지식부족'이 $82.2\%$로 가장 높았다. 4. 임상실습 경험 후 만족감 중 '졸업후 물리치료사 생활유지'가 $71.3\%$로 가장 높았다. 8. 각 영역별 변수와 일반적 특성과의 관련성이 유의하게 나온 변수 1. 성별과 임상실습 경험 후 실습에 대한 불안감 중 '지식부족'은 여학생의 $86.7\%$가 남학생의 $61.1\%$보다 높았다(P<0.01). 2. 종교유무와 임상실습에 대한 기대감 중 '인류에의 실천기회'는 종교를 가진 학생의 $65.1\%$가 종교를 가지지 않은 학생의 $44.8\%$보다 높았다(P<0.05). 3. 종교유무와 임상실습 경험 후 실습에 대한 불안감중 '환자와 대화미숙'은 종교를 가진 학생의 $65.1\%$가 그렇지 않다고 응답하여 종교를 가지지 않은 학생의 $56.9\%$보다 높게 나와 종교를 가지지 않은 학생의 불안감이 놓았다(P<0.05). 4. 종교유무와 임상실습 경험 후 실습에 대한 만족감 중 '전공선택의 궁지'는 종교인 학생의 $81.4\%$가 비종교인 학생의 $68.3\%$보다 높았다(P<0.01). 5. 가족중 입원치료 경험유무와 임상실습에 대한 기대감 중 '이론지식의 활용기회'는 유경험 학생의 $79.7\%$는 무경험 학생의 $62.2\%$ 보다 높았다(P<0.05). 6. 본인의 입원치료 경험유무와 임상실습 경험 후 실습에 대한 만족감 증 '불안감의 해소'는 유경험 학생의 $68.4\%$가 무경험 학생의 $45.1\%$보다 높았다(P<0.05). 7. 물리치료과 선택등기와 임상실습에 대한 기대감 중 '치료참여의 기쁨'은 자의로 선택한 학생의 성적 $80.5\%$는 타의로 선택한 학생의 $66.7\%$ 보다 높았다(P<0.01). 8. 물리치료과 선택동기별 임상실습 경험 후 실습에 대한 불안감 중 '졸업 후 물리치료사로 직장생활을 하고 싶지 않다'에서 그렇지 않다고 응답한 자의의 학생이 $74.0\%$ 타의의 학생 $58.3\%$보다 높았다(P<0.05). 9. 물리치료과 선택동기별 임상실습 경험 후 실습에 대한 만족감 중 '물리치료학을 전공하는데에 대한 후회가 된다'에서 그렇지 않다고 응답한 경우 자의로 선택한 학생의 $75.3\%$가 타의로 선택한 학생의 $58.3\%$보다 높았다(P<0.05). 이상의 본 조사성적 결과에 의하면 실습 후 불안감은 여학생이 남학생보다 높고, 물리치료과를 타의로 선택한 학생이 자의로 선택한 학생보다 만족감이 낮고 불안감이 높아 이를 고려한 실습교육계획과 실시가 뒤따라야 할 것으로 생각된다.

The effectiveness of gamification on nursing practice for undergraduate students: A systematic review

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of gamification in nursing practice for undergraduate students, as well as to explore the use of gamification in nursing education. This study is a systematic review of RCTs evaluating the effectiveness of gamification in nursing practice for undergraduate students. A total of 7 articles were identified in a search of PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Embase, and the additional databases were CINAHL (in English) and RISS (in Korean) between September 28, 2022 to October 5, 2022. Themes related to the environment and personal behaviors between 2002 and 2021 were extracted. The intervention themes were blood transfusion, postoperative pediatric nursing, postoperative hemorrhage and brain trauma nursing, basic and advanced life support, disaster nursing, and neonatal resuscitation. The primary outcomes were knowledge in five studies, satisfaction in one study, and competency in one study. The secondary outcomes were satisfaction in three studies, confidence in two studies, performance in two studies, skills in two studies, and self-efficacy, motivation, professional attitude, cognition, gameful experience, and affective response in one study each. Therefore, gamification interventions can be utilized in nursing practice education instead of traditional teaching methods such as lectures and face-to-face clinical practice.

간호대학생의 임상실습시 경험하는 폭력, 폭력경험 후 반응, 회복탄력성이 학업소진에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Clinical Violence Experience, Response to Violence Experience, Resilience on Academic Burnout among Undergraduate Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습시 경험하는 폭력, 폭력경험 후 반응, 회복탄력성 및 학업소진을 확인하고, 학업소진에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 B광역시와 G도에 소재한 4개 대학교의 간호학과 4학년에 재학중인 간호대학생 318명에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS Windows 24.0프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계, 독립표본t검정, 일원배치분산분석, 쉐페 사후검정, 피어슨상관계수, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과, 학업소진은 4점만점에 2.58점이었고, 학업소진은 폭력경험후 반응(r=-.393, p<.001), 회복탄력성(r=.176, p<.001)과 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 회귀모형은 적합하였으며(F=130.045, p<.001) 학업소진에 영향을 미치는 요인은 임상실습만족도(β=-.393, p<.001), 전공만족도(β=-.188, p<.001), 폭력경험후 반응(β=.176, p<.001), 주관적 건강상태(β=-.156, p<.001), 가해자(β=.135, p=.002), 회복탄력성(β=-.118, p=.016)순이었으며, 학업소진을 45.9%설명하였다. 결론적으로 학업소진에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인이 임상실습만족과 전공만족이므로 다양한 교육전략과 폭력경험 후 부정적인 반응을 감소시키고 회복탄력성 향상을 위한 학생상담프로그램을 개발해야할 것이다. 또한 간호대학생의 임상실습시 경험하는 폭력 및 폭력경험후 반응, 학업소진에 대한 질적연구가 필요하다.

한의학 진단전문가시스템을 활용한 임상실습 만족도 연구 (Study about Satisfaction of Clinical Practice by Using Diagnosis Expert System in Korean Medicine)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the direction of development of the expert diagnosis system by questioning student satisfaction after practicing Oriental Diagnosis System (ODS). A questionnaire survey was conducted for 73 students who attended Pusan National University Graduate School of Korean Medicine and conducted clinical practice from the second semester of 17 years to the first semester of 18 years. The questionnaire survey consisted of 6 questions about the satisfaction of current expert system and 5 questions about supplementation and addition. As a result of the questionnaire analysis, the question about the necessity of the expert diagnosis system and the benefit of clinical practice using the expert diagnosis system indicated high positive response rate. On the other hand, there is a difference in the results of the dialysis before and after using the expert diagnosis system. So, It seems that the reliability of the results of the expert diagnosis system is still low. The results of the questionnaire indicate that the need for expert diagnosis system is beneficial, but it is necessary to supplement the current system in order to improve clinical utility in the future.

간호대학생을 위한 시뮬레이션 기반의 아동간호 인수인계에 관한 동영상 실습교육과 시뮬레이션 실습교육의 효과 (Utilizing Video vs Simulation Practice for Handoff Education of Nursing Students in Pediatric Nursing)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a model for handoff education for nursing students based on simulation using video and to identify educational effects of a simulated situation in pediatric care units. Methods: Data were collected from May 1 to 30, 2016. Participants were 84 senior nursing students in Seoul (video group: 43, simulation group: 41). Both groups were given a lecture and pre-briefing on handoff education. The simulation group had nursing practice on resolving health issues for respiratory distress using a high-fidelity baby simulator. The video group watched a video recording of a scenario based simulation, and used a summarized handoff situation to practice patient handoff to another student. Results: There was no significant difference between the two groups for handoff self-confidence, problem solving ability, handoff competence (self-assessment of students), or learning satisfaction. Self-confidence increased significantly in both groups. Handoff competency evaluated by the instructor was higher in the video group compared to the simulation group (t=2.33, p=.022). Conclusion: Nursing student education for handoff practice utilizing a video in the pediatric unit was more cost effective. Therefore, it could be a useful educational method for students in learning patient handoff practices and helpful for related research.

The Influence of Online Basic Clinical Training on Critical Thinking Disposition, Self Determination Motivation and Learning Satisfaction for Nursing student

  • 본 연구의 목적은 COVID -19 상황에서 온라인 기초임상실습이 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 자기결정성 동기 및 실습만족도에 미치는 효과를 파악하고자 시행되었다. 본 연구는 단일군 사전·사후설계이다. 연구 대상자는 G시에 소재한 간호학과 3학년을 대상으로 온라인 설문지를 이용하여 수집하였고 41명이 최종 참여하였다. 연구결과 비판적 사고성향(t=-2.60, p=.013)과 자기결정성동기(t=-2.84, p=.007)는 통계적으로 유의하게 상승했다. 이 결과는 온라인 기초임상실습이 비판적사고성향, 자기결정성 동기 향상에 효과가 있음을 의미한다. 최근 COVID-19 의료현장에서의 직접간호수행이 어려운 만큼 다양한 온라인 콘텐츠를 활용한다면 온라인 임상실습의 한계를 극복할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
