A survey has conducted on two hundred high school students of the first and second grade by way of questionnaine in Seoul. The purpose of this study on the information from the survey is to cstimate the level of awareness and probe how they feel and what they wish on sex. X2 inspection is designed to assess general aspects of responded contents by way of percentage and examine degree of satisfaction on previously experienced sex education and demand for sex education. The result is as follows. 1. As a result of the examination of degree of awareness on sex of respondents, 62% delines sex as human relationship including moral values for harmony between men and women. 64% of the men and 70% of the women say that sex is a natural thing. It comes to the conclusion that most of the respondent sgenerally consider sex positive. On chastity, 68.5% of the respondent answer that it means physical chastity, 12.5% that chastity before marriage should be kept, and 43% that it should be kept as far as possible. Most of them pespond that it should be kept. 2. As a result of the examination on the contents of sex, they answer they know well in the order of masturbation(72%), pregnancy(76%), and sex(63%). Contraception, abortion and ejection are contents they poorly informed of. 3. As a result of the examination on experienede of sex education, 83% of men and 100% of women have experienced sex, education, but their degreeof satisfaction to it is very low. And 49% of the whole is dissatisfactory to it. There is some difference between male and female students.(p=0.000) That result translates that female studeuts are educated on sex tjhrough more systematic subjects than male ones. In addition, it turns out that teenagers get most information on sex through friends, seniors, and mass media such as videos, TV and radios. Correct and systematic sex education is need because wrong information on sex culd be taught and bring them to misbehave. 4. 87.5% of the respondents answer that sex education is necessary, so that degree of necessity for sex education, turns out to be very high. Also the main subject that should perform sex education is in the order of school(50%), Society(24.5), home(18.5%). They respond that most appropriated period for the beginning of sex education is about elementary school age(43%), and 34% believes it to be put ahcad of elementary school age. Anurse teacher accounts for 54% for the main subject that addresses sex education, to male students visit teachers are most favored for 50%. As a result of those, it could be concluded that most high school students want sex education from responsible persons who have systematic and professional knowledge on sex. 5. In order to perform proper sex education by the above results, better educational effects are obtained when characteristics and natures of teenagers are known and most wanted knowledge by them is taught in priority in times of planning sex education. Besides, the contents of sex education suitable for each school should be planned before elementary school age and sex education should be performed in accordance with students' demand. In addition, sex education should be attentively performed by home, all organizations of society as well as school. Therefore, sex education will play a great role in making teenagers reestablish their conception on sex when the traditional and moral value systems of our country and the new value systems which are being formed under the influence of the western culture are in harmony.
Objectives: This study was conducted to analyze the general properties of beauticians and to analyze correlation between their experiences of indigestion and relevant factors and thus to provide basic data to prevent obstacles to beautician's health. Methods: A self-administered survey on 257 female beauticians in Daegu from March 15 to May 30, 2005 was conducted. Cross-link analysis was used to examine indigestion in relation to the general properties of beauticians, and correlation analysis was used to determine the level of relationship between indigestion and relevant factors, and multiple regression analysis was used to determine the degree of effects of relevant factors on indigestion. Results: The results can be summarized as follows: 1. As for indigestion by general properties and beauty-related properties, there were significant differences in gender(p<0.01), age(p<0.05) and marriage status(p<0.05) among general properties and there were significant differences in the number of holiday(p<0.05), beauty culture career(p<0.01), and the degree of satisfaction on duty(p<0.001) among beauty-related properties. As for indigestion by eating habit and health-related properties, there were significant differences in the degrees of regular eating(p<0.001) and regular living habit(p<0.001), and eating speed(p<0.01). 2. Factors relevant to the eating habit showing significant correlation with indigestion were regular eating habit, taking well-balanced nutrition, and taking salty food. Among them, the regular eating habit was shown to be the most relevant with the correlation coefficient of -0.253(p<0.01). The general and beauty-related factors showing significant correlation with indigestion were beauty culture career, number of holiday, and regular living habit. And regular living habit was shown to be the most relevant with the correlation coefficient of -0.260(p<0.001). 3. Results from the regression analysis showed that relevant factors having significant effects on indigestion were gender, beauty culture career, satisfaction on duty, eating speed, regular eating habit and regular living habit. And satisfaction on duty was found to have the greatest effect on indigestion. Conclusions: The findings of this study could be effectively used to develop a practical management strategy to prevent $beauticia{\acute{n}}s$ indigestion, and to promote $beauticia{\acute{n}}s$ health, and ultimately to improve the $beauticia{\acute{n}}s$ quality of life.
창업활성화와 중소기업의 안정적인 성장을 유도하기 위해 다양한 지원 정책이 추진되고 있다. 정부에서는 조세 금융의 직접적인 방법과 지원 사업을 통한 간접적인 방법으로 효과적인 지원을 위해 노력하고 있다. 그러나 정부의 창업정책에 대한 견해는 여전히 팽팽하다. 지원의 필요성에 대해서는 공감하고 있으나, 지원 방식과 지원사업의 실효성에 대해 논의가 이어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 정부 창업지원 사업의 실효성을 확인하기 위해 창업지원 사업에 대한 중요도와 만족도를 평가하고자 한다. 이를 위해 정부창업지원 사업을 경험한 ICT 창업 기업을 대상으로 설문을 수행하였으며, 이 중 128개를 대상으로 GAP 분석 및 ISA 분석을 진행하였다. 정부 창업지원 사업에 대한 GAP 분석 결과, 중요도(5.221)에 비해 만족도(4.408)가 낮게 측정되었으며, 이를 통해 창업지원 사업에 대한 수혜자의 평가는 부정적임을 확인하였다. 중요도-만족도 분석 결과 유지 영역에는 'R&D', '사업화'가 위치하고 있으며, 집중 영역에는 '정책자금', '판로 마케팅 해외진출' 지원 사업이 포함되어 있다. 저순위 영역에는 '창업행사 네트워크' 항목이 포함되어 있으며, 마지막으로 과잉 영역에는 '시설 공간', '멘토링 컨설팅', '창업 교육'이 위치하고 있다. 각각의 창업지원 사업이 전반적인 중요도에 미치는 영향력을 분석하고자 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 'R&D', '창업교육', '정책자금'의 순서대로 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 ICT창업기업에 대한 지원 정책 수립과 제도 개선을 통해 정부 창업지원사업의 질적 수준을 개선하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
The aim of this study is having the status, knowledge and attitude of the high school attendees toward smoking be analyzed, helping to make effective health education methods to diminish adolescent smoking habits. The field self-questionnaire investigation has been performed from Oct 10th through 23rd in 1999. The whole 427 cases were distributed to 1st and 2nd grade students of randomly selected men's high school in Seoul. And 414 cases (97%) were finally selected for analysis after exclusion of cases with insufficient information. The main contents of questionnaire are composed of several sectors; the general characteristics of the interviewees, the relationship with parents, the life style and the peer relationship in school. And smoking-related characteristics are taken into consideration, too. The major findings of the study are as follows: The smoking/non-smoking related factors are, in socio-demographical terms, the grade, average spending per month of the interviewees. And the degree of satisfactory relationship with parents is significant on smoking behavior. The higher, the degree of satisfaction on school life and relationship with designated teacher, the more chances of non-smoking habit. Poor academic grades and peer group dependability of interviewees cause higher smoking habit rate in other way. The self-interviewees grade and cohabitation with parents are also significant on both the attitude toward smoking habit and the knowledge on smoking statistically. The academic history and vocations of the parents and the academic grades of interviewees are also effective variables, but don't make any gap between groups knowledge on smoking. Smoking groups used to have positive attitude toward smoking habit. Both the attitude and knowledge on smoking by the consideration of Quit-smoking have statistically significance. The groups which have negative attitude and high knowledge on smoking quit-smoking into consideration. And the primary cause of quit-smoking is on health by smoking. Depression, stress, adult smoking in the house, peer group pressure, cigarettes advertisements on papers and magazines and smoking scenes on TV have positive correlation on forming smoking habit (p〈0.001) But the knowledge on diseases triggered by smoking has negative correlation on forming smoking habit. (p〈0.05, p〈0.001). Social factors as monthly spending, relationship and communication with parents, the degree of satisfaction in school life, academic grades and student-teacher relationship have crucial negative correlation on smoking habit. That is to say, the higher, the monthly spending is, the worse, the relationship with parents and teachers is, the lower, the academic grades of the student is, the percentage of the interviewees who have smoking habit seems to get higher.
The purposes of this study were to identify the actual utilization condition of combi-steam ovens and to evaluate the importance and the satisfaction of dietitians and cooks who used the oven in school foodservice. A survey of 300 schools, 1 dietitian and 1 cook from each school respectively; total 600, was conducted and 202 completed questionnaires were available for the purpose of the statistical evaluation. The main results of this study were summarized as follows: Among the schools, 70.5% set up the oven during 2007~2009, the most commonly used cooking method was 'Baking (87.0%)' and the way of acquiring recipes for the oven was 'from oven manufacturing company (50.0%)'. The advantage of using the oven was 'the convenient use of the oven (63.3%)' and the disadvantage was 'Difficulty of cooking foods evenly (59.8%)'. The degree of importance and satisfaction on twenty six attributes were measured according to type of school, location of school, number of meal service per day, and number of total serving per day. Among quality attributes of importance of the oven utilization, 19/18 characteristics were assessed over 4 point (important) out of 5 scale by dietitians/cooks respectively and in satisfaction 16/18 were over 4 points (satisfied) by dietitians/cooks respectively. When it comes to the most satisfied factor of combi-steam oven, 'Improvement of cooking baked foods' was highest for dietitians (4.60 point) and 'Checking temperature of cooked foods' was for cooks (4.49 point). In overall satisfaction of the oven use, the average score was 4.10 point for dietitians, 3.98 point for cooks out of a 5 point scale. Using the survey results as a base, school foodservices are required to use the combi-steam oven efficiently to serve high quality of meals for students.
This study was carried out to investigate the activities and job satisfaction of public health doctors in charge of community health programmes. Subjects were 138 public health doctors charged with community health project, registered in the roll of public health doctors, made out by Central Supporting Team for the District Health Work in 2002. Data was obtained from Ninety-six public health doctors. The response rate was 70%. The survey was conducted from March to April in 2003 bye-mail. The items of the questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of participants, understanding of their activities, support system, job satisfaction, and suggestions to improve the system. Collected data was analyzed using PC-SPSS 10.1. Descriptive analysis, t-test, and ANOVA test were used. The results are as follows: Most of the respondents showed a low participation rate in community health services, but they agreed to the importance of their activities and the necessity to modify and improve the system. 70% of the respondents were dissatisfied with their jobs. The participation in health planning and programmes of health center, and the degree of acceptance of their opinion from health center workers were significantly related to their job satisfaction. The participation rate of the public health doctors having specialty, in community health services is higher than that of the others. In terms of the supports for system operation, the reflection of one's intention in job arrangement process, education and public relation of this system, and the administrative and financial supports made significant differences in the job satisfaction and the accomplishment of their duty. The respondents hoped that the administrative and financial supports for public health doctors in charge of community health programmes should be reinforced to motivate them. They also wanted that they could keep from being overloaded with clinical services. They favored to conduct home visit, community diagnosis, health planning, and health promotion programs as their appropriate activities. From these results, we suggest some strategies to motivate and empower the public health doctors in charge of community health programmes.
This study was conducted to identify the characteristics of social carrying capacity at mega-events, especially the 2000 Kwangju Biennale in Korea. In particular, this paper has proposed some management policies for mega events taking into account the relations between social carrying capacity, satisfaction and crowding. The research method was to look into the general characteristics and distributive forms of the location, and then to confirm the possibility of sampling the factors involved in satisfaction degree; last, A factor analysis for causal analysis of perceived crowding was performed. The study needed correlation analysis in order to compare expected crowding and perceived crowding, and performed regression to examine the causality of perceived crowding and satisfaction. The research results were as follows: the correlation of expected crowding, perceived crowding, and the total satisfaction was very low or meaningless. The relation between satisfaction and elements for factor analysis such as convenient facilities and value experience showed partial meaningfulness. The factors of convenient facilities, entrance fee, parking lot use, toilet convenience, and exhibit room use had meaningful results; on the other hand, the factors of value experience showed a meaningful result in the guide service of an event place. In conclusion when those holding an event make a basic project, they should consider management measures for convenience of facilities, proper education for guide service, and systematic guidance. Also, as a method for perceived crowding lower than expected crowding, the study has proposed that it is possible to lower expected crowding by providing appropriate information on the number of tourists expected on the weekends and weekdays. Future research should control variables such as personal characteristics, seasons proper for vacation and holidays, and carefully consider their investigation and design. Moreover, it is necessary to study variables involved in expected crowding of more various space-intensive sightseeing places (mesa-events).
Purpose: This study aimed to identify the effects of preparedness towards delegation, critical thinking disposition, and communicative competence on job satisfaction among comprehensive nursing care service ward nurses and general ward nurses. Methods: The participants in this study were 218 nurses from two university hospitals. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires and were analyzed using SPSS Statistics/WIN 21.0, including descriptive statistics, x2 test, Fisher's exact test, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffeé test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis. Results: For comprehensive nursing care service ward nurses, the significant influencing factors on job satisfaction were age (β=-.37, p=.041), marital status (β=.35, p=.001), critical thinking disposition (β=.29, p=.003), and communicative competence (β=.28, p=.002) with the explanatory power was 39.0% (F=12.00, p<.001). On the other hand, for general ward nurses, the significant influencing factors on job satisfaction were advanced degree (β=.29, p=.047), critical thinking disposition (β=.23, p=.040), and communicative competence (β=.42, p<.001) with the explanatory power was 33.0% (F=11.78, p<.001). Conclusion: The results of this study suggest the importance of developing and applying education programs to improve critical thinking disposition and communicative competence of nurses. This would enhance the comprehensive nursing service and increase overall nursing manpower resources. In addition, further studies are needed to improve nursing work environments and to develop strategies for enhancing preparedness towards delegation, which would increase the job satisfaction of nurses in the comprehensive nursing care service wards.
The purposes of this study were to examine the pattern of housewives’social activity participation and investigate the characteristics of this pattern. The data of this study were collected from 340 housewives living in Seoul area. Statistical methods used were frequency, percentage, oneway ANOVA, DMR-test, and cluster analysis. The results of this study were as follows; 1) 52.6% of respondents participated in social education, only 20.8% in volunteer work. And a large number of housewives(77.6% of respondents) wanted to get a job. 2) Housewives were classified into job-demand group, job-apathy group and social activity oriented group by the pattern of social activity participation. And these groups were differed by Age, income, degree of satisfaction as a housewife, time constraints, and money constraints.
This study investigated the relationship of children´s perceived competences and the home environment stimulation. The subjects of this study were 120 boys and girls enrolled in grade 3 and their mothers from three elementary schools. Instruments included the inventory of home stimulation(HOME) for elementary school children and the perceived competence scale for children. The main results obtained from this study were as follows; The degree of children´s perceived competence differed according to children´s sex, birth order, mother´s education, father´s education, mother´s employment satisfaction, income of the family, type of the family. And the children´s perceived competence and the home environment stimulation were a positive correlation.
