The objective of this study was to analyze the evaluation of the rural resident's on their community at view of community life satisfaction. The specific purposes of this study were to identify the degrees of community life satisfaction, consciousness of rural community according to the individual variables. The data were gathered from 1,870 rural residents by the structured interview in the 187 communities sampled by multi-staged cluster stratified sampling method in November, 2003. The major findings of this study were as follows; first, the degree of the rural residents'community life satisfaction was generally low, especially the rural residents were dissatisfied with the opportunities of leisure and education environment in their communities, and by half were satisfied with housing environment. Second, as consciousness of rural community, the degree of rural resident's joining at community meeting was high, and openness to the outside residents' was high. third, the most important factor for consciousness of rural community were community organization, good neighbor. As result of this study, the following conclusion and recommend can be drawn. First, the level of rural resident's community life satisfaction is overall low. Especially it is needed policy efforts and priority investment for advancing satisfaction on leisure and education environment in rural community. Second, to foster rural resident's community consciousness, community orgaruzatlon Is first of all supported and activated. Through viability of these community organization, rural resident's participation in community welfare will be enhanced
This study examined the awareness, satisfaction, and usage patterns of 257 elementary school teachers for food labeling in Busan. The survey was conducted from April 15 to June 20, 2020, by questionnaires. The perception degree of food labeling was higher in female teachers than in male teachers and did not differ significantly among age groups. The score of the understanding degree was highest in their 20s and lowest in their 30s. The degree demand in their 50s was higher than in their 30s and 40s. The reliability degree in their 20s was higher than that of those in their 40s and 50s. The verification degree and satisfaction degree did not differ significantly with age or gender. The primary reason to check food labeling was 'to confirm harmful additives (31.9%)'. Among those in their 20s and 30s, the major reason for reviewing nutrition labeling was 'nutrient', while it was 'health improvement' was most important in those in their 40s and 50s. Of the subjects, 31.1% reported that the reason for the difficulty in understanding the label was 'various forms and the small letters'. The demand for the content was highest in trans fats. Apporximately 32.3% of the teachers were educated for food labeling; 42.4% of them taught food labeling, and 62.7% of them recognized the necessity of food labeling teaching. A correlation was observed between the demand for food labeling and understanding (r=0.586). Therefore, preparing education programs for teachers according to gender and age group and developing food additives-related programs will be necessary for strengthening the teachers' ability to manage their dietary life and educate students.
The purpose of this study was to estimate the quality if New Town housing environment, and to present the direction of design policy to elevate it. For this study questionnaires were administrated to 272 homemakers living in apartment in Bundang. From 1st of May to 31st of May in 1995. Used statistical method was Frequency. Percentage. Mean, Factor Analysis, Correlation, Multiple Regression. The major finding is as follows : 1) Housing values were classified into five types : convenience, beauty, sociality, education, and economy, Resident ranked first economy among housing values the second is convenience, the third beauty, the forth education, while the most unimportant value is sociality. 2) House satisfaction was classified into four types : house size and plane structure, environment and facilities, interior decoration materials and facilities and building design. Residents were found to show the middle degree satisfaction on their house. 3) Housing complex satisfaction was ciassified four types : community facilities, management stage, neighborhood connection and complex facilities. Resident showed dissatisfaction on their apartment complex relatively. 4) Residents showed dissatisfaction on the interior decoration materials and facilities, local facilities and management attitude relatively.
This study examines the university students majoring in culinary arts to survey the recognition levels of culinary arts education for the purpose of searching for a development plan for culinary education. A survey was conducted to 407 students in a cooking and food service program. To achieve the purpose of this study, SPSS 17.0, a statistics program, was used for a descriptive analysis, a frequency analysis, and a factor analysis. In this study, we have developed a device to measure educational service quality which can be applied to the place of higher education, and factors that determine educational service quality are dragged through this device. In addition, this research identifies which statistically significant factors play a part in overall satisfaction and interprets 26 quality attributes using importance-satisfaction transformed index. The interest and necessity of culinary arts education was very high while the performance degree was considered insufficient. In conclusion, if chances are given to display achievement of desire self-directly through increasing practical training, development and application of various programs, operation of open practice classes and curriculum organization reflecting social changes in the education courses, the culinary arts education will be considered to be more vitalized.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to ascertain the degree of students' educational satisfaction according to their Problem-based learning strategy. Method: The subjects were 277 nursing students in C College. A questionnaire modified by researchers was used and analyzed by the SPSS WIN 12.0 program. Result: This study showed that there's a positive relationship between the level of students' educational satisfaction and their learning strategies, including collaborative, self-directed, self-expression and time management strategies. Those who were in the second year and those who have considered temporary absence from school and/or change of academic courses used the least learning strategies and showed the lowest level of educational satisfaction. The top three learning strategies influencing educational satisfaction were time management, collaborative strategies and self-directed strategies respectively. Self-expression strategy was not statistically significant as an influencing factor on educational satisfaction. Conclusion: The more learning strategies that are used, the higher the level of educational satisfaction as a whole. Further studies on how to increase student's educational satisfaction and a way to advance in learning strategies are recommended.
This research focused on the family stress, coping strategy, and job satisfaction in dual-earner couples. The subjects of this study were 150 dual-earner couples,300 people, in the Kyeongnam Area, Korea. The major findings from the study are as follows; 1) The degree of family stress of the husband and wife in dual-earner couples was 2.74 and 2.98, respectively, on a scale of 0-5.0. The most stressful event arose from their role as parents caring for their children. The significant variables were religion and the type of expended family in dual-earner couples' husband, and the age of the first child, job, economic level, conjugal period, and marital satisfaction in dual-earner couples' wife. 2) The coping strategy of family stress of the husband and wife in dual-earner couples was 3.41 and 3.45, respectively, on a scale of 0-5.0. Among the strategies, the 'cognitive restructuring' scored highest. The significant variables were religion, the degree of educational level, job, marital satisfaction, and self-esteem in dual-eamer couples' husband, and economic level, the type of expended family, marital satisfaction, and selfesteem in dual-earner couples' wife. 3) The degree of job satisfaction of the husband and wife in dual-earner couples was 3.72 and 3.89, respectively, on a scale of 0-5.0. The most effective variables of job satisfaction of the husband and wife in dual-earner couples was self-esteem and cognitive restructuring strategy, respectively.
This study was carried out to investigate effects of general characteristics of the Korean dietician on job satisfaction. The subjects were 2987 dieticians who responded to the questionnaire distributed at the annual education program of the Korean Dietetic Association in 1995. The results are followings: 1. The level of the job satisfaction of Korean dieticians was low for payment, work environment, and value achievement as a dietician, while it was relatively high for the relationship with colleagues. The other parts of job satisfaction, such as work load, work contents, supervision by senior, participation of policy decision and etc were above average. 2. Dieticians who were older and/or who had worked longer than others had significantly higher job satisfaction in all fields. 3. Dietician who received college education showed significantly lower job satisfaction in all fields than did dieticians with B.A. and M.A. degree. 4. Dieticians with low position at the work had significantly lower job satisfaction in all fields than had dieticians with higher position.
This research focused on the family stress and family strengths in double-income couples. The subjects of this study were 171 double-income couples, in the Kyeongnam Area, Korea. The major findings from the study are as follows. 1) The degree of family stress of the husband and wife in double-income couples was 2.90 and 2.97, respectively, on a scale of 0-5.0. The significant variables were economic level, self-esteem and marital satisfaction in double-income couples' husband, and having a housework-helper, job satisfaction, self-esteem and marital satisfaction in double-income couples' wife. 2) The degree of family strengths of the husband and wife in double-income couples was 3.84 and 3.82, respectively, on a scale of 0-5.0. The significant variables were job satisfaction, self-esteem and marital satisfaction in double-income couples' husband, and the educational level, job type, self-esteem and marital satisfaction in double-income couples' wife. 3) There was a close inverse correlation between the lamely stress and family strengths in the husband and wife of double-income couples.

The purpose of this study is to explain. It also examines and compares factors influencing life satisfaction among the middle-aged at various income levels. The data source for this study was the third additional wave and the fourth wave of the Korean Retirement and Income The study sample consisted of 1,723 middle-aged (age 50-64) individuals. The data analysis methods included the chi-square test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, there was a positive relationship between old age preparation and life satisfaction. Second, it was found that old age preparations (physical, emotional, social, financial) and life satisfaction show meaningful relationships among the income levels. Third, old age preparation was found to have different meaningful impacts on life satisfaction among the income levels. The results of this study verify the degree of the relationship between old age preparation and life satisfaction and the different impact factors relating to old age preparation for life satisfaction among the income levels.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlations between the school neighorhood environment and adolescents’behaviors. A questionnare was distributed to 221 high school students from June 27. 1997 t해 July 16. 1997 in chonju. In this study SAS package was used. The statistical methods such as frequency. mean. analysis of variance. correlation analysis. multiple regression analysis and T-Test were applied. The result of this study were as follows. 1) The school neighborhood environment of B high school included much more problematic places than A high school in 20 minutes distance on foot. So B high school students visited problematic places more frequently than A high school students(p<.05). 2) Both of A high school students and B high school students didn’t be satisfied about the school neighborhood environment. The degree of satisfaction for school environment of A high school student was higher than that of B. (p<.001) The number of benefit facilities. the degree of cleanness, and the safety from automobiles positively influenced the satisfaction for school neighbor environment. while the number and visiting of harm facilities negatively in satisfaction. 3)The problematic behaviors of B high school students was higher than A high school students(p<.05)
