  • The purpose of this study to investigate the impact of rewards on job satisfaction and whether economic trends moderate the relationship of job satisfaction and rewards or not. Furthermore, this study also investigates whether the relationship between job satisfaction and reward is linear or nonlinear and whether the relationship diminishes or improves with predictor inclusion. Data collection was done through online and self-administered questionnaires by adopting cluster sampling technique from higher education institutions of Pakistan. Results based on 2160 responses suggest that economic trends moderate the relationship of job satisfaction and reward while assuming the economic trends as perceived rewards. The logit model was adopted to probabilistic relationship between job satisfaction and reward in moderation with economics trends. The moderations magnify the impact of rewards on job satisfaction. The job satisfaction is more sensitive to extrinsic reward as compared to intrinsic reward. The relationship of job satisfaction and reward is nonlinear for both extrinsic and intrinsic reward suggesting the diminishing relationship of job satisfaction and rewards. This study has pivotal implication for the higher education sector as it helps the sector to align the rewards with economic and trends and can normalize the reward after assessing the nonlinear stricture of relationship.

  • In the fashion retail research, the role of fashion salesperson and their job satisfaction have been getting attentions. The purpose of this study was to investigate the elements affecting the job satisfaction of fashion salesperson. A hypothetical path model of job satisfaction of fashion salesperson was developed and tested. Empirical data were collected with a written survey instrument. Data were collected from 150 fashion salespersons during 2001 fall, and finally 101 responses were analyzed. As results of series of regression analysis, final job satisfaction model was identified. Job satisfaction of fashion salesperson was affected by subjective job aptitudity, salary, fashion product knowledge. fashion involvement, and work experience. Managerial implication and research limitation were discussed.

  • From the perspective of employees working for public service agencies, we analyzed the causal relationship between service quality, relationship quality, design quality, customer satisfaction, and trust in public services. We conduct statistical analyses on the quality attributes we derived from a critical incident technique(CIT) analysis and build a measurement model, which has a second-order hierarchical structure. Survey data was collected from social work, childcare, and healthcare services. Using a structural equation modeling method, we identify a causal model and simultaneously estimate factor loadings and path coefficients. We find that all the quality dimensions are antecedents to satisfaction and then satisfaction precedes trust. The results show that service quality and design quality mediate in parallel the effect of relationship quality on satisfaction and both relationship and design qualities have stronger effects on satisfaction rather than service quality.

  • Customer satisfaction is an ever-growing concern of management throughout the world. To find the way to increase customer satisfaction, we must understand customer requirements. Kano distinguishes between three types of product requirements(:must-be, one-dimensional, attractive requirements which influence customer satisfaction in different ways when met. Timko has developed customer satisfaction(CS) coefficient based on Kano model. The CS coefficient is indicative of how strongly a product feature may influence satisfaction. As there were a few limitations on the Kano's method and on the Timko's customer satisfaction index method. The objective of this study is to provide improved methodology based on the Kano's method. One case studies are solved by the proposed method.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze a path model that investigated the relations among leisure participation, leisure satisfaction and life satisfaction of the elderly. For the purpose conceptual framework based on previous studies was suggested. The sample in this study consisted of 489 elderly living in Seoul. Daejeon Jeonju and daegu. Statistics employed for the analysis were frequencies means one way anova multiple regression and path analysis. The results showed some evidence that supported the conceptual framework. In path model elderly's health status total asset family relationship self-esteem locus of control leisure participation and leisure satisfaction had direct effects on the life satisfaction. Also total asset, self-esteem and leisure participation had indirect effects through leisure satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the well-being attitude and use the expectation-disconfirmation model to assess consumer satisfaction with well-being products. The consumer expectations, performance and disconfirmation scales were composed of 7 items of 5-likert scales. Consumer satisfaction with well-being products was measured with one-item-measurement scale. The results of this study are as follows. 1. The well-being attitude consists of 4 factors. : consumption of the well-being products, pursuit of mental well-being, criticism of commercial fashion, and pursuit of harmony with natural life. 2. Well-being attitude influences the consumers' expectation, performance, and satisfaction with well-being products. 3. Consumer expectation for well-being products has no influence on satisfaction, but performance and disconfirmation have a high degree of influence on satisfaction.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify the influencing factors of adolescents' life satisfaction. Methods: The data of the 6th Korean Child-Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) was analyzed using the SPSS 24.0 and 24.0 AMOS program. Based on literature review, a hypothetical model consisted of six theoretical variables, twelve paths and seventeen measurable variables. Results: The modified model showed a goodness of fit to the empirical data(GFI=0.958, AGFI=0.940, NFI=0.945, RFI=0.931, TLI=0.904, RMSEA=0.055). Ten paths among twelve paths proved to statistically significant. Depression showed statistically significant effects on adolescents' life satisfaction directly. Personal characteristics, parenting behavior, peer attachment and self-esteem showed statistically significant effects on adolescents' life satisfaction directly and indirectly. Personal factors and external environmental factors affect adolescents' life satisfaction. Conclusions: Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop programs to improve adolescents' life satisfaction.

  • The primary objective of this paper is to examine of post acceptance behavior model in VCC services. Based on the relevant literature reviews, this study posits six characteristics, that is, expectation confirmation, perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment, satisfaction, and continuance intention as key variables to describe the post acceptance behavior model in VCC services. And then we constructed a research model and hypotheses about relationship between these variables. A total 286 usable survey responses of CCC service users have been employed in the analysis. The empirical results of this study are summarized as follows. Firstly, expectation confirmation has a positive effect on the perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment, and satisfaction. Secondly. perceived enjoyment has a positive effect on the satisfaction. Lastly, perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment, and satisfaction have a positive effect on the continuance intention. These results will be helpful for the UCC services sector to further develop a service delivery strategies for strengthening the ongoing relationship with customers. Finally, some possible limits of the present research and future directions for such research were discussed.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the negative factors affecting personnel u-Learning acceptance and to analyze the interrelation among the factors in this research model. The two independent variables avoidable convenience and reliant convenience, based on pilot test results, and learning performance and perceived interactivity, based on the relevant literature, are used to examine the research model. The research problem was tested with data collected from 577 respondents in 23 universities. This study developed and empirically analyzed a model representing the relationship by using the Structural Equation Model. The major findings of this study are, firstly, that the higher reliant convenience is negatively affecting the degree of system use and learner’s satisfaction, whereas avoidable convenience is only affecting the learner’s satisfaction. Secondly, the higher learning performance and stronger perceived interactivity affects the degree of system use as well as learner’s satisfaction. Finally, the degree of system use affects the learner’s satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this research is to identify causalities among service quality, service value, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. A Structural Equation Model is used to test the hypothesis of conceptual model. To test the model, we collect data by conducting a survey with 508 patients. Empirical result indicates that three factors such as tangibles, assurance, and empathy have direct impact on service value and customer satisfaction. Especially, customer loyalty is positively related not with service value but with customer satisfaction.
