도시공간정보 시각화 사례분석을 위한 지표 선정에 관한 연구 (The Development of Visualization Indicators for Case-study of Urban Geo-Spatial Information Visualization)

  • In Regarding urban geo-spatial information visualization in this study, visualization of physical attribute information is mostly related to the representation of spatial domain and physical objects, and visualization of non-physical attribute information has to do with visualizing citizens and their activity information in the physical environment. In particular, a citizen, one of the non-physical information attributes, is characterized by a constant mobility in the physical environment, and thus visualization of his/her activity information is vital in conveying information because this information may not be depicted with any given, fixed figures. In consideration of this difficulty, this study integrates interrelationship among urban space, human needs, social relations, and lifestyles into a 'high-tech' service where experience in time and space is possible. To analyze the web-service and visualization cases, the study has selected visualization indicators consisting of information representation objective, information representation means, and information representation result. The results of the case analysis through specific indicators set a range in information representation objective, means, and result, thereby forming a user-friendly environment in which representational results are readily available to users, and ultimately expanding the users' selection range coming with a variety of options. This study also assumes that a wide range of service provision is needed to reflect users' needs in developing urban geo-spatial service model, and the display of its results should visualize users' satisfaction to construct the best information needed to users.

무통분만 여부에 따른 초산부의 신체불편감과 분만만족 (Differences in Physical Discomfort and Childbirth Satisfaction between Primiparous Women with and without having taken Epidural Analgesia)

  • Purpose: To examine the difference of physical discomfort and childbirth satisfaction between postpartum women with and without having taken Epidural Analgesia. Method: The subjects were divided into one group of 128 primipara taken Epidural Analgesia and the other of the same 70 women who were not taken it. Data were collected by questionnaires of their own physical discomfort and birth satisfaction at postpartum 1 to 2 days in OBGY hospitals, and data were analyzed using SPSS Program. Result: Women having taken epidural analgesia appealed higher physical discomfort than those without it in the lower limbs exercise discomfort, difficult urination, urinary retention, nausea & vomiting, whereas appeared vice versa in breast pain. Among indicators for childbirth satisfaction, women having taken epidural analgesia preferred the same delivery method later again more than those without it. Conclusion: It is confirmed that the method of epidural analgesia is not an absolute way to control labor pain, rather stir physical discomfort after childbirth and does not fully increase the women's childbirth satisfaction. Therefore, it is proposed that nurses should provide the pregnant women the right knowledge and information, thereby enabling them to select the useful method of childbirth to their own course of childbirth and health-recovering after the delivery.

  • This study provides an understanding of the role of job satisfaction as a mediator of compensation and workplace environments for the organizational commitment of employees in the public sector. This study used a structural model using path analysis. The population and sample in this study were all employees at the Population and Civil Registry Office of one of the districts in Indonesia. The sampling technique used was total sampling, due to the considerably smaller amount of the sample size. This study found that compensation and workplace environment could explain job satisfaction variables with a 93.8% confidence level and simultaneously compensation, workplace environment, and job satisfaction that could explain organizational commitment with a variable of 97.4%. This findings also shows that the manifest bonus variable on the latent compensation variable is one of the main indicators that needs to improve to increase job satisfaction and organizational commitment. One of the important things which needs to be done is to increase compensation. The first thing which needs to be done is to increase the bonus. Furthermore, to improve the quality of the workplace environment, facilities, and infrastructure such as stable internet connections, computer specifications are the important criteria that must be met.

The impact of outdoor environment on residential noise level satisfaction: GIS-based Analysis

  • Urban residents in crowded complexes are making increasing civil complaints about noise and demanding pleasant and comfortable residential environments. Because noise is one of the most important factors related to urban residents' dissatisfaction with their living environments, the present study investigates the direct and indirect effects of noise-related outdoor environmental factors on residential level satisfaction, using noise level data from 29 noise-measuring stations in Seoul. From 62 multi-family apartment complexes near these stations, the authors collected GIS-based environmental attribute data, as well as survey data including the residents' personal characteristics and indicators designed to measure latent psychological characteristics: noise sensitivity and residential noise level satisfaction. This study then utilized structural equation models to analyze the direct variables influencing the latent variables of noise sensitivity and residential noise level satisfaction, as well as the complex relationships among all variables. The result showed that residents who are exposed to less noise, possibly due to living in apartments facing relatively quiet roads, protected by soundproof walls, or surrounded by densely planted trees, tend to be less noise sensitive, which makes them more satisfied with the ambient noise level. Therefore, critical outdoor environmental variables can be used to reduce noise sensitivity and improve residential noise level satisfaction.

항공객실서비스 품질 측정 모형 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Multi-item Scale for Assessing Airline Cabin Service Quality)

  • Purpose: Recognizing the limitations of the previous researches that measured the quality of airline service quality only with partial evaluation items of cabin service quality. the purpose of this study is to standardize and develop assessment of the airline cabin service quality with considering the characteristics of cabin service and customer needs. Methods: The proposed method of this paper was the empirical items of airline cabin service quality was derived through reviewing and comparing the previous researches, industrial indicators like Skytrax and KS-SQI and NCS. Results: The result of this research proposed CSQ (Cabin SERVQUAL) which could consist of seven dimensions, separated by five direct customer satisfaction factors and two indirect factors required for providing customer service. Conclusion: The developed CSQ can be used for airline service quality measurement which will achieve establishing a strategy to improve customer satisfaction and satisfaction of Airline's employee.

  • This study address the variables affecting customer satisfaction and purchase intention of discount stores and outlets, based on service quality affecting on customer satisfaction and purchase intention, aiming to help provide a service quality affecting on customer's interest, satisfaction and revisit around discount stores and outlets. Today, consumer needs are diversified, continually changing and differentiated. Under the market conditions of unlimited competition to satisfy those needs, businesses focus on relationship-building with customers, as well as on quality of Services. The present age, an age of knowledge economy, with blessed three changes: 'information', 'globalization', and 'service enablement'. The most noteworthy fact is that along with the development of technology and increase of income, the phenomenon of soft and service enablement of economy giving a great deal of weight on service has been progressively spread throughout the whole process of development, sales, consumption, and employment geared with development of technology and gains in earnings.

Relationship between Perceived Neighborhood Characteristics and Vigorous Physical Activity among Adult Seoul Residents

  • Objectives : Vigorous physical activity is a well-known method to promote people s health. This research aims to investigate whether perceived neighborhood characteristics affect vigorous physical activity among adult Seoul residents (aged 19 to 64). Methods : Utilizing the 2005 Seoul Citizens Health Indicators Survey data, this study estimates the probability of vigorous physical activity. Particular attention is given to the effects of three perceived neighborhood characteristics satisfaction with relationship to the neighborhood, satisfaction with park and recreational facilities, and satisfaction with public security). Logistic regression models are analyzed separately by gender for the parameter estimation. Results : Vigorous physical activity is positively associated with three perceived neighborhood characteristics for women, while neither significant nor substantive association is found for men. Conclusions : As vigorous physical activity among Seoul citizens is differentially affected by perceived neighborhood characteristics and by gender, a different approach will be needed to increase vigorous physical activity of men and women in Seoul.

The Influence of Successful Ageing Indicators on Life Satisfaction among Elders in Korea

  • This study investigated differences in related factors affecting life satisfaction with the elderly in or above middle class experiencing successful ageing. In the study, the respondents were 206 elderly people whose occupation (professional career) placed them in the middle and upper class range residing in metropolitan Seoul. Major results are summarized as follows: (1) In order to test gender differences, results of t-test show that there are 13 variables with seven of those being statistically significant and the rest being insignificant. (2) Needs fulfillment and physical functioning are significant factors for Korean male elders to be satisfied with their later lives. Needs fulfillment, physical functioning, group activity, and learning activity are significant factors for Korean female elders to be satisfied with their later lives.

과학기술분야 학술정보 유통사업 성과평가에 관한 연구 (Study on Performance Evaluation of Academic Information Distribution Project in Scientific Technology Field)

  • 세계 각국은 국가경쟁력 향상을 위해 R&D 투자 확대 및 효율성 제고에 노력하고 있다. 따라서 국내 과학기술분야 학술정보 유통사업도 질적 제고 및 발전적 미래전략 도출을 위한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 국내의 대표적 과학기술 분야 학술정보 유통기관인 A기관을 대상으로 BSC 기반 성과지표를 적용하여 사업성과를 평가하고 평가결과를 이용하여 중요도 및 성과에 대한 포트폴리오 분석을 실시하였다. BSC기반 성과지표의 평가항목은 정보자원관점, 정보서비스관점, 이용자관점, 경제적관점의 4개 관점에서 정보자원 품질, 정보서비스 품질, 이용자 만족도 및 학술정보의 경제적 유용가치 등 12개 항목으로 구성하였다. 포트폴리오 분석에서는 성과지표별 포트폴리오 분석과 더불어 개별 성과지표의 구성요소별 분석을 실시하였으며, 성과평가 및 포트폴리오 분석결과에 기반하여 A기관의 학술정보 유통사업에 대한 관점별 개선방안을 제시하였다.

작은도서관 평가지표의 유효성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effectiveness of Evaluation Indicators for the Small Library)

  • 이 연구는 작은도서관의 활성화와 내실화를 위해 현행 작은도서관 실태조사 및 평가 결과 달성률 분석과 표적집단 인터뷰를 통하여 현행 평가지표의 유효성을 검증하였다. 이를 위해 현행 작은도서관 평가지표 문항을 검토하고, 시간 흐름에 따른 평가 점수와 항목의 차이를 살펴보기 위하여 2018년부터 2020년까지 총 19,476개관의 실태조사 데이터를 조사하여 평가 영역별 달성률을 분석하였다. 또한, 작은도서관 관련 단체와 담당자를 전문가로 선정하고 표적집단 인터뷰를 진행하여 현행 평가지표의 문제점과 개선사항에 대한 논의와 의견을 수렴하였다. 이를 통해 도출한 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 작은도서관 평가는 외적인 환경 평가보다는 내적인 질적 서비스 위주의 평가가 선행되어야 한다. 둘째, 체계적인 증빙이 가능한 지표를 설계하고, 용어의 모호성을 해소하기 위한 명확한 설명을 첨부해야 한다. 셋째, 공립작은도서관과 사립작은도서관의 평가 문항의 구분과 지방자체단체의 직접적인 평가가 필요하다. 넷째, 이용자들의 만족도를 측정할 수 있는 정성 평가 요소가 추가되어야 한다.
