A Study on the Developmental Direction with Reference to User's Satisfaction of Urban Park -Cases study of Daeshin Natural Park in Pusan City- (도시공원 이용만족도에 기초한 도시공원의 개발방향에 관한 연구 - 부산시 대신자연공원을 사례로-)

  • The primary purpose of this study is to investigate factors and variables which have significant effects on user's satisfaction with recreational activities in Daeshin Natural Park, thereby establishing directions of development of urban parks. To test the causal models of this research, the data were gathered by self-administered questionnaires form 627 households in Pusan City which were selected by the multi-stage probability sampling method. The analysis of the data primarily consists of two-phase: The first analysis dealt exploratory factor analysis which identified major factors involved in satisfaction with recreational activities in Daeshin Natural Park and the second analysis tested the fit of the causal models of this research by employing LISREL methodology. The factor analysis identified that three factors are involved in satisfaction with recreational actitives. The three factors of satisfaction with recreational activities are facilities for health and phisical exercise, group recreational activity, maintenance activity. The second phase analysis tested the fit of the causal models for satisfaction with recreational activity to the data and identified statistically significant causal linkage among overall satisfaction with Daeshin Natural Park, other endogenous factors and exogenous variables.

The Effects of Preceptor Nurses' Self-leadership on Role Recognition and Job Satisfaction (프리셉터의 셀프리더십이 역할인식과 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of preceptor nurses' self-leadership on role recognition and job satisfaction. Method: The participants were 171 preceptor nurses worked in one of three general hospitals in Seoul. The data were collected from April 12 to May 12, 2011 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson correlation, Scheffe, and regression with SPSS Win 19.0 program. Result: The results of the study were as followed. The average score for preceptor nurses' self-leadership was 3.55, for role recognition, 3.81 and for job satisfaction, 3.28. The factors of the preceptors' self-leadership affecting role recognition were self-expectation (${\beta}$=260, p=.002) and goal setting (${\beta}$=199, p=.030), and those factors accounted for 18.9% of explanatory power. The factors of self-leadership influencing job satisfaction were self-expectation (${\beta}$=18.3, p=.021), and rehearsal (${\beta}$=-168, p=.030), and those factors accounted for 31.3% of explanatory power. Among the factors of self-leadership, self-expectation influenced both role recognition and job satisfaction. Conclusions: The results of the study indicate that to improve preceptor's role recognition and job satisfaction, there should be special training programs to enhance preceptor's self leadership.

A Study on the Residential Satisfaction Analysis for Street Space Design in Detached House Area (도시단독주택지 가로공간 계획을 위한 거주자 만족도 분석 연구)

  • This study surveys the degree of residents' satisfaction on the current street space to suggest alternatives for the improvement of the street space design in detached house areas. In the results of the survey, we find the following. First, in the result of analysis on age, residential term, having children or not, income level, and type of house ownership, residents are homogeneous in social and economic characteristics. There are similarity in geographical, locational conditions, neighboring facilities, deterioration of residential house, and the time of residential formation among residential areas. Second, satisfactory determinants of residents on street space according to street types, are maintenance, protection of privacy, and parking space. Third, satisfactory determinants of residents on street hierarchy is the inner circulation road while unsatisfactory one is the inner roads. Fourth, age, residential term and type of house ownership are significant factors influencing residents' satisfaction. Factors influencing satisfaction on street space are also affecting total satisfaction and factors associated with street environment are perceived more important ones than factors associated with street activities. Thus we find the degrees of satisfaction for residents on street type and street hierarchy are different despite that general characteristics of residents are similar. We also find residents consider street noise and maintenance as critical factor among physical factors of street space.

High School Boys′ Satisfaction with a Korean Traditional Style Uniform and Image Evaluation (우리옷 교복 착용 남자고등학생의 교복만족도와 이미지 평가)

  • The purpose of this paper was to understand the relationship of high school boy's satisfaction with a Korean traditional style school uniform and their attitudes and image evaluation to male regarding wearing school uniforms. A survey was administered to 128 male high school students. To find our factors of their attitudes and their images regarding wearing school uniforms, Varimax rotated factor analysis was adopted. The results showed that each few factors were identified in their wearing attitudes and images. Multiple regression analysis was to investigate the relationship between these factors and the satisfaction with their school uniform. As a result of this, if their satisfaction becomes greater, they tend to recognize the distinctive design of their school uniform and wear their school uniform on various occasions. In addition, the more they become satisfied with their school uniform, the more the students are comfortable with the uniform and recognize it as a symbol of status as well. The relationship between the factors of their wearing attitudes and satisfaction with their school uniform shows that of their satisfaction becomes greater, they recognize the school uniform as good looking, comfortable and as an intelligent image. The analysis of their attitudes and images indicates that the factor of a good looking images is correlated with all factors of their attitudes. Therefore the attitudes of high school boys toward wearing a school uniform have been changed and revealed to be different from previous research results.

Causal relationship among quality factors, emotional responses, and satisfaction of school food service in Henan province, China

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: School food service has played an important role in promoting the health and physical condition of students by providing students with a balanced and nutritious diet. Therefore, boosting the quality of school food service and improving the students' satisfaction is critical. For this purpose, this study examined the structural causal relationship among the quality of school food service factors, emotional responses, and satisfaction in China. SUBJECTS/METHODS: This study was conducted with 4th-6th-grade students from 6 junior high schools in Henan province of China, with 590 questionnaire responses (87.3%) collected and statistically analyzed. RESULTS: The school food service quality factors (including menu management, dietary education, facilities management, price and food distribution management, and personal hygiene during meals) must be enhanced to boost the students' satisfaction. In addition, the study used questionnaire survey data to validate the full mediation of students' emotional responses between school food service quality factors and student satisfaction. CONCLUSIONS: Students' emotions also play an important role in influencing the quality of school food service, all of which affect the emotional responses of students. Therefore, students' positive emotions are an important indicator for improving the quality of school food service. A national support policy is necessary for the ongoing maintenance and development of various programs that drive students' satisfaction and promote the adoption of education guidelines for school food service in China.

The Effect of Mobile Food Delivery Application Usage Factors on Customer Satisfaction and Intention to Reuse

  • The number of delivery app users and their social impact have increased along with the number smartphone users. Accordingly, the present study attempted to suggest a method to improve the service quality of delivery apps for relevant businesses and researchers by determining the influences of delivery app usage factors on customer satisfaction and reuse intention. The present study distributed and collected questionnaires through on- and offline surveys targeting males and females in their 20s in the Daejeon area. The results of the regression analysis showed that the influence of delivery app usage factors on customer satisfaction was 43.8%, and informativeness, payment and safety, usefulness, and convenience were found to influence the increased satisfaction with the delivery apps. The influence of delivery app usage factors on customers' reuse intention was 37.3%, and among the four usage factors, informativeness and payment and safety were found to be the main factors for increasing the reuse intention. As providing more accurate information is a means to increase customer satisfaction and reuse intention by improving the service quality of the delivery apps, new menus and prices should be rapidly updated.

A Study on Satisfaction and Intention to Re-purchase Fashion Goods Through Social Commerce (소셜커머스를 통한 패션제품 구매자의 만족도와 재구매 의도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to find factors affecting satisfaction and intention to re-purchase fashion goods through social commerce. A questionnaire method was applied for 123 women aged from twenties to thirties, with buying experience in fashion goods through social commerce. Independent variables were service quality, fashion shopping orientation, and demographics. Factor analyses and multiple regression methods were used to analyze data. Factor analyses resulted in two factors for service quality and resulted in four factors for fashion shopping orientation. The results of multiple regression analyses showed that convenience & benefits and site layout factors of the service quality had significant impacts on satisfaction in fashion social commerce. Those two service quality factors, demographics like job, and satisfaction were shown significantly important to predict intention to re-purchase fashion goods on social commerce service. Intention to re-purchase was best explained in the model with satisfaction as an independent variable. Meanwhile, shopping orientation factors were not important in any model.

  • The purpose of the study is to analyze the impact of storytelling factor, technical factor and exhibition environment factor on the degree of satisfaction, degree of immersion and immersion types in and . Our findings show that the degree of satisfaction not only has a significant correlation with the degree of immersion, but also influences on the holding power and behavioral intention. According to the results of correlation analyses, three factors have an impact on the degree of satisfaction and immersion. Immersion factors influence negatively on Focused Attention and Heightened Enjoyment, however, the factors effect positively on Temporal Dissociation and Curiosity. As the influence of immersiveness on the degree of satisfaction and immersion, and immersion types have been verified, this study offers a fresh understanding of the importance of immersion factors as evaluation criteria for digital exhibitions.

To test the causal models of this research, The data were gathered by self-administered questionnaires from 1,147 households in Taegu city which were selected by the multi-stage probabiling sampling method. The analysis of the data primarily consist of two phases : The first analysis dealt with exploratory factor analysis which identified major factors involved in satisfaction with recreational activities and facilities in Apasn city natural park and the second analysis tested the fit of causal models of this research to the data using LISREL methodology. The factor analysis identified that three significant factors are involved in satisfaction with recreational activities and five significant factors are inherent in satisfaction with recreational facilities. The second phase analysis tested the fit of the causal models for satisfaction with recreational activities and facilities to the data and identified statistically significant causal linkage among overall satisfaction with the park, other indogenous factors and exogenous variables. These significant relationships represent important factors and variables that should be considered in planning and/of development of the city natural park. On the basis of there significant causal relationships implications for planning and/or development of the city natural park were suggested.

Effects of Empowerment and Job Satisfaction on Nursing Performance of Clinical Nurses (간호사의 임파워먼트와 직무만족이 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify factors that affect nursing performance; Those factors are personal characteristics, sub-categories of empowerment and job satisfaction of clinical nurses. Methods: Data were collected from November 24, 2012 to March 11, 2013, and participants were 451 hospital nurses in 6 hospitals. Descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression were used for data analysis. Results: Nurses who were older, married, highly educated, in the position of charge nurse, and with longer clinical careers showed relatively higher empowerment, higher job satisfaction, and higher nursing performance than others. Also, there were strong correlations between nursing performance and empowerment (r=.576)/job satisfaction (r=.617). Factors predicted nursing performance were relationship with coworkers (${\beta}=.398$), duty (${\beta}=.181$), promotion system (${\beta}=.134$), and turnover intention (${\beta}=-.109$). Factors predicting job satisfaction were competency of empowerment (${\beta}=.249$), and clinical career (${\beta}=.151$). These 6 factors explained 55.2% of the variance in nursing performance (F=93.37, <.001). Conclusion: Regarding human resource management, relationship with co-workers is a changeable factor. Therefore nursing organizations should apply these factors in human resource management to enhance nursing performance and achieve organizational goals.
