Maslow의 욕구위계이론에 근거한 간호사 욕구만족도 측정도구 개발 및 타당화 (Development and Validation of the Nurse Needs Satisfaction Scale Based on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument to evaluate the needs satisfaction of nurses and examine its validity and reliability. Methods: The initial items for the instrument were developed through a literature review and interviews, using the conceptual framework of Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory. The initial items were evaluated for content validity by 14 experts. Four hundred and eighty-six clinical nurses participated in this study through offline and online surveys to test the reliability and validity of the instrument. The first evaluation (n = 256) was used for item analysis and exploratory factor analysis, and the second evaluation (n = 230) was used to conduct a confirmatory factor analysis and to assess the criterion-related validity and internal consistency of the instrument. Test-retest reliability was analyzed using data from 30 nurses. Results: The final instrument consisted of 30 items with two sub-factors for five needs that were identified through the confirmatory factor analysis. The criterion-related validity was established using the five need satisfaction measures (r = .56). Cronbach's α for total items was .90, and test-retest reliability was .89. Conclusion: The findings from this study indicate that this instrument has sufficient validity and reliability. This instrument can be used for the development of nursing interventions to improve the needs satisfaction of clinical nurses.

수업 구성 분석에 기반한 K-공과대학교의 동료수업컨설팅 프로그램 효과성 검증 (Effectiveness Validation of Peer Class Consulting Program Based on Class Composition Analysis at K-Institute of Technology)

  • This study introduces the peer class consulting program at K-Institute of Technology aimed at improving class quality through the diagnosis of professors' teaching methods, analysis of the pros and cons, and assessment of their class management ability. To carry out the program, 641 students taking classes with the professors were surveyed on their satisfaction and learning motivation levels. The class composition was analyzed by monitoring the professor's class. The effect of the consulting was verified by comparing students' class satisfaction scores before and after consulting. Additionally, 29 professors subject to the consulting were surveyed on their satisfaction with the program. According to the results, professors subject to the consulting recognized that the teaching methods and class management strategies presented through the consulting effectively improved student satisfaction and motivation and provided an opportunity to gain confidence through the class. Furthermore, professors subject to the consulting were able to acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to class management, and they perceived the program positively, stating that it allowed them to quickly adapt to the university education environment through cooperative communication with senior professors serving as consultants.

스포츠 유틸리티 차량의 테일게이트 개폐 불편도와 만족도 평가 (Evaluation of Perceived Exertion and Satisfaction in Opening and Closing Tailgates of Sport Utility Vehicles)

  • The difficulties in opening and closing a sport utility vehicle (SUV) tailgate is important aspect of JD (James David) power's Initial Quality Survey (IQS) assessment, and affective quality has a big impact on the the success of thesedays products. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the perceived difficulty and satisfaction of customers by the opening and closing of the tailgate and to grasp the relationship between them and the opening and closing reaction force. The mechanical force required to open and close 42 domestic and overseas SUV tailgates was measured with the help of an auto company. In the experiment, 100 male drivers in their 20s to 50s evaluated perceived difficulty and satisfaction with opening and closing the tailgate. The results of the analysis showed that perceived difficulty and satisfaction were statistically different depending on the vehicle, but did not depend on the personal characteristics of the participants. The perceived difficulty and satisfaction regression model of tailgate opening and closing was developed by mechanical force variables and had a relatively high adjusted $R^2$ ranging from 0.62 to 0.73. The models showed that the the initial close and open force, the difference between initial and maximum close force and the difference between initial and auto-fall angle should be small for the low perceived exertion and high satisfaction. In addition, the correlation analysis between IQS score of tailages and perceived difficulty and satisfaction showed that the IQS scores were more related to the perceived difficulty and satisfaction of closing than those of opening. The results of the study will be helpful to design and test mechanical open and close structure of SUV tailgates.

The relationship between workplace violence, depression, burnout, subjective health status, job and life satisfaction of physical therapists in South Korea

  • Objective: To investigate the physical therapists' actual experience of workplace violence and examine its relationship with depression, burnout, subjective health status, and job and life satisfaction. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: The level of workplace violence was assessed using the Korean Workplace Violence Scale composed of 24 questions in the following 4 subscales of workplace violence. Depression was assessed using the Korean version of the Patient Health Questionnaire-9. Burnout was assessed using the Korean version of the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey, which is a 5-item scale. Subjective health status was measured on a 5-point scale. Job and life satisfaction was measured based on the assessment tool used in the World Values Survey. Results: There was a significant correlation between the three subscales of workplace violence and health indicators, including depression, subjective health status, job and life satisfaction (p<0.05). The organizational protective system subscale showed a significant negative correlation with depression and a positive correlation with subjective health status as well as job and life satisfaction (p<0.05). The area of 'psychological and sexual violence from customers' showed a significant moderate correlation with depression and job satisfaction (p<0.05). Also, there was a negative correlation that was significant between depression and subjective health status, job satisfaction, and life satisfaction (p<0.05). Conclusions: This study suggested that future studies should continue to investigate and reveal the causal relationships between workplace violence and physical therapists' health indicators.

남원 향토음식에 대한 관광객의 인지도 및 만족도 (Tourist Perception and Satisfaction with Native Local Foods of Namwon)

  • This study was conducted to develop the unique native local foods of Namwon and to provide basic data needed to reinvigoratethe tourist industry and local economy. Perception and satisfaction with native local foods of Namwon were surveyed in 483 tourists (246 men and 237 women 53% visiting Namwon for the first time). Of the participants, 41.2% did not stay or eat in Namwon. Most tourists visited with other family members and spent approximately 20,000 won per capita on food. Of the foods sampled for the first time, preferred foods were (in order of preference and intention to order again) Chueo-tang, Hanjeongsik, wild edible greens-jeongsik, and black pork. The degree of food satisfaction was relatively favorable (3.54${\pm}$0.08 points on a 5-point satisfaction scale), with taste being the most important factor affecting the degree of satisfaction for 92.9% of the subjects. However, willingness to revisit Namwon on the basis of the local foods was not as high as the degree of satisfaction with the foods. Insufficient information and publicity concerning Namwon local foods were cited as impediments, and suggested improvements included taste, sanitation and food-based tourism. The degree of satisfaction was higher in men than in women. Age, residence, and occupation were not related to the degree of satisfaction. But, the willingness to revisit Namwon to sample local foods was related with gender (men more willing) and occupation (public service personnel, business owners, salaried employees, professionals, and housewives more willing, in order). Women in general and housewives in particular were most critical in food assessment.

회전교차로 주행 만족도 및 안전성 평가 (Driving Satisfaction and Safety Assessment for Roundabout)

  • 본 연구는 도로 교통전문가에 대한 개인속성 및 운전행태를 비롯한 회전교차로 주행경험에 따른 만족도에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 요인들을 분석하였다. 회전교차로의 주행환경 만족도 특성을 명확하게 규명하기 위해 주성분분석을 실시하여 구성요인을 추출하고 변수들을 3개의 요인으로 그룹화하였으며, 각 그룹을 만족요인속성, 운전행태속성, 개인속성으로 명명하였다. 변수들의 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증하기 위해 확인적 요인분석을 통하여 변수정제과정을 거친 후 회전교차로 주행성 인지와 만족요인속성을 내생잠재변수로, 개인속성과 운전행태속성을 외생잠재변수로 구조화한 회전교차로 주행환경 만족도 모형을 개발하였다. 모형 추정결과, 회전교차로 주행만족도는 차량지체 감소, 교통안전성 향상, 도로용량 증대, 도시미관 개선, 교통환경 개선, 심각사고 감소, 자전거 이용 편의 등 만족요인속성에 직접적인 영향을 받으며 성별, 연령, 운전시간, 운전경력 등 개인속성에 간접적인 영향을 받는 것으로 분석되었다. 교통법규 준수, 양보운전, 교통표지 준수, 끼어들기 운전 등 운전행태속성은 주행 만족도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 끼치지 못하였다. 그리고 AHP분석결과, 회전교차로 안전성 확보를 위해서는 기하구조의 회전반경과 운전자특성의 운전습관이 가장 중요한 요소로 선정되었다.

병원 외래 방문 환자의 만족도 평가 및 관련 요인에 대한 연구 - 한 3차 병원 방문 환자를 중심으로 - (Measurement of Ambulatory Patients' Satisfaction and Its Influencing Factors in a Tertiary Hospital)

  • 환자 만족도의 증진은 의료 제공의 궁극적인 목적의 하나이며, 의료의 질적 수준 향상을 위해서는 환자의 만족도 평가가 매우 중요하다. 따라서 판자의 만족도를 타당도와 신뢰도가 높은 도구를 이용하여 측정하고, 환자의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명할 필요가 있다. 이 연구는 우리 나라 실정에 적합한 표준화된 설문서의 개발에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하기 위하여 환자의 만족도를 평가하는 설문지를 개발하고 한 3차 병원 외래를 방문한 827명의 환자를 대상으로 이의 신뢰도와 타당도를 평가하였으며, 환자의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하였다. 외래 방문 환자가 질을 평가하는 차원은 인자 분석을 통하여 병원 환경 및 편의 시설에 관련된 요인, 원무관리 및 보조 서비스에 관련된 요인과 의사진료에 관련된 요인으로 분류되었으며, 이 3개의 병원내 과정에 대한 척도들은 비교적 높은 신뢰도와 타당도를 나타내고 있었다. 전반적인 진료 결과를 나타내는 3개 문항은 신뢰도가 낮아, 서로 다른 별도 차원의 개념임을 의미하고 있었다. 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과 전반적인 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 최근의 건강 상태, 진료비에 대한 인식과 진료에 따른 건강상태의 변화였고, 타인에게 병원을 추천할 의향에 영향을 미치는 요인은 환자의 성, 초 재진 여부, 진료에 따른 건강상태의 호전에 대한 기대, 진료비에 대한 인식과 진료에 따른 건강상태의 변화였다. 앞으로의 환자 만족도에 대한 연구에서는 이 연구 결과를 참고로 하여 조사 대상의 확대, 포괄적인 설문 문항의 개발, 조사 방법의 보완 등이 필요할 것이다. 이 연구에 사용된 설문지의 입수를 원하시는 분은 저자에게 개인적으로 연락하여 주시면, 설문지를 보내드리겠습니다.

치과위생사 취업 역량, 업무, 직무만족에 관한 연구 - 공무원·공기업 취업자·연구원 중심으로 (A study on career competency, task and job satisfaction of dental hygienists - Focusing on public officials, public institution workers, and researchers)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate career competency, tasks, and job satisfaction of public servants, public institutions, and researchers. Methods: The survey was conducted about career competency, job satisfaction, and satisfaction on work life. Next, they interviewed on the characteristics of each job by two or three dimensions. The following conclusions were obtained from July to August 2017. Results: Career competencies were GPA with 3.87, 818 points of TOEIC score, and ITQ certification. Public servants required the information on literacy skills for employment and job performance, while civil servants need more than one year of clinical experience in the dental hospital. The non-commissioned officer needed a written test and fitness training. The health insurance review and assessment center required more than one year of experience from general hospital or medical institutions. Researchers required a research career, language skill, and professors required research and teaching experiences with clinical experience more than three years. The main job tasks were as follows; for public servants, they were official document processing and community projects. For the civilian workers and military/noncommissioned officers, they were medical assistant and administrative works. The employees of the health insurance review and assessment service are examining the medical expenses and the medical examination, the researchers are experimenting, researching and writing articles, and the teaching staff are lecturing and conducting individual research. Conclusions: The results of job satisfaction survey showed that occupational satisfaction was the highest in civil servants, researchers, and teaching professions. Job security was the highest in health workers and health inspectors' evaluation centers, and time vacancy was the highest in civilian workers and military/noncommissioned officers. If you want to work in such an institution, you should prepare elements that match your basic literacy and job specific characteristics. And we should try to increase the satisfaction of work even after work.

재가암환자 요구도 조사 (Need Assessment of Home-based Cancer Patients)

  • 목적 : 우리나라의 주된 사망원인인 암은 최근 들어 진단기술의 발전과 치료방법의 개선으로 전점 만성화되고 있어 결과적으로 집에서 치료받고 있는 재가암환자의 수가 증가추세에 있다. 그러나 지속적이고 체계적인 암환자 관리체계의 미비로 많은 환자들이 적정한 보건의료서비스를 받지 못하고 방치되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 재가암환자의 삶의 질을 높이고 가족의 부담을 줄여주기 위한 지역사회 재가암환자 관리체계를 개발하기 위한 전단계로서 재가암환자의 서비스 요구를 파악하고자 한다. 방법 : 본 연구는 재가 암환자와 환자를 주로 돌보고 있는 가족을 대상으로 그들이 겪고 있는 어려움과 보건의료 분야의 도움을 필요로 하는 요구를 직접 면접 조사를 실시하여 조사하였다(연구대상, 중앙암등록본부 등록 환자, 455명). 결과 : 1) 암환자의 가장 중요한 증상인 통증조절에 대한 만족도는 경증 환자에서는 25.5%, 중증환자의 경우에는 46.5%가 불만이라고 응답하여 만족스러운 통증조절이 안되고 있었다. 2) 재가 암환자 및 보호자에 대한 요구도 조사결과를 보면 가장 필요한 도움으로는 경제적인 도움, 통증 및 증상조절 의료에 대한 정보제공 및 상담이었다. 3) 기본간호에 대해서는 간호필요율에 대한 충족율이 대부분 $20{\sim}30%$ 대로 낮았다. 특수간호의 경우에는 요구도가 있는 재가암환자가 많지 않았으며(5% 이내), 기본간호에 비해 간호충족율이 높았으나, 여전히 50% 정도로 낮아, 충분한 서비스가 충족되고 있지 않았다. 결론 : 재가암환자들의 서비스 요구도를 분석한 결과 암환자들이 충분한 통증 및 증상조절이 이루어지지 않고 있으며, 기본 및 특수간호의 충족률이 매우 낮은 실정이다. 향후에 재가암환자의 삶의 질을 높이고 가족의 부담을 줄여주기 위한 재가암환자 관리체계를 개발이 필요하다.

국내 건강정보 웹사이트의 신뢰성과 만족도 현황분석 (The Analyses of Confidence and Satisfaction for Domestic Health Information Web-Sites)

  • 국내에서 건강 소비자들을 대상으로 건강정보를 제공하는 웹사이트들 중 순위가 높은 18개 웹사이트를 선정하여 각 웹사이트의 건강정보 신뢰도와 만족도에 대한 현황을 분석하였다. 선택된 18개 사이트는 방문자의 수와 트래픽 정보 등을 이용하여 웹사이트의 순위를 평가하는 전문 기관의 순위 정보에 의해 선택되었다. 각 웹사이트에서 제공되는 건강 정보의 신뢰도와 만족도 현황을 파악하기 위하여 19가지의 평가 항목에 대한 충족 정도와 5가지 중요 요소의 유무에 대한 현황을 분석하였다. 이를 통하여 국내의 대표적인 건강정보 웹사이트들에 대한 신뢰성과 만족도 측면에서의 현황을 파악할 수 있었으며 평가 결과를 활용하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.
