Dynamic contact of a cantilever beam with Sap at the end is discussed. The gap in a structure induces dynamic contact, and the contact problem is always accompanied by inequality constraints which mean that the solution of the structure with contact condition should satisfy variational inequality. Inequality, but, can be reduced to equality condition considering convex penalty function. In this paper, formulation of a beam with contact is derived using quasi convex penalty function. General coordinate solution which is needed to increase computational efficiency is applied. Nonlinear behavior of a beam with rigid and elastic contact condition was discussed.

The dynamics of a typical PWR fuel rod are investigated. Mathematical models of the support grid and fuel rod were derived and verified experimentally. The finite element model and SAP V computer program were used to calculate the natural frequencies and mode shapes. A singlespan beam model is also given for predicting the fundamental mode dynamics of prototype fuel rods. The results agree quite well with the finite-element model results.

Dramatic development of information technology requires new type of sales strategy to enterprise S/W dealers. That is, one should thoroughly consider diversified types of enterprise S/W and more elaborated consumer needs to establish successful sales strategy. However, various factors that should be considered in establishing enterprise S/W sales strategy are different according to types of enterprise S/W and hard to be managed systematically which led to the current situation where they have not been discussed enough. Therefore, this study introduced the relationship between the factors that affect selection of enterprise S/W using the concept of cognitive map on various enterprise S/W sales cases. Through this process, this study grouped the cognitive maps of similar cases to introduce their characteristics and made this result to be practically useful to enterprise S/W sales strategy.

인터넷을 기반으로 하는 비즈니스의 활성화로 웹 서비스의 필요성이 증가함에 따라 웹 서비스의 등록 및 검색을 지원하는 UDDI의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 현재 범용 UDDI 레지스트리(UBR, UDDI Business Registry)를 운용하고 있는 IBM, Microsoft, Ariba, SAP등은 상호간에 UDDI의 복제(Replication)를 지원하며 하나의 UDDI 레지스트리에 웹 서비스를 등록하면 다른 UDDI에도 자동으로 웹 서비스가 등록된다. 하지만 이러한 복제는 최소 24시간을 주기로 복제되며, 또한 업데이트에 대해서는 복제작업이 명확히 이루어지지 않는다. 이는 환율 정보 서비스, 예약 서비스, 주식 정보 서비스 등 실시간적인 동기화가 필요한 서비스들의 사용자에게 많은 문제점을 안겨준다. 이에 본 논문에서는 모니터링 및 UDDI 동기화 에이전트를 이용하여 웹서비스의 등록, 삭제 및 업데이트 발생시 등록되어있는 모든 UDDI의 동기화를 수행하여 서비스 사용자에게 항상 신뢰할 수 있는 서비스를 제공 할 수 있도록 한다.

현대의 기업 활동을 위한 시장 상황은 제품에 대한 글로벌 환경규제가 갈수록 강화되어가고 있으며, 기업들은 생존을 위해서는 다양한 환경규제에 능동적으로 대응하며, 기업의 지속적인 성장을 모색해야 하는 것이 현실이다. 본 연구 논문에서는 글로벌 환경 정책의 변화 트랜드를 살펴보고, 글로벌 핵심 환경 규제 및 지침인 RoHS, WEEE, EuP, REACH 및 ISO 14000 환경경영시스템 등 국내기업들이 각종 환경 규제에 대응하기 위해서 구축하고 있는 환경관리 정보시스템들에 대하여 그 종류 및 형태를 살펴보고, 효율적인 환경관리정보시스템(EMIS) 구축을 위한 방안을 도출하였다.

Reverse transcription and polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) techiniques were used to identification and differentiation of cucumber mosaic virus isolated from Forsythia koreana (CMV-Fk). RT-PCT used by two set of 20-mer primers one was CMV-common primers and another was CMV subgroup I-specific primers designed in a conserved region of the 3' end of CMV RNA3, amplified about 490 bp and 200 bp DNA fragments from CMV-Fk, respectively. CMV could be detected by RT-PCR at a dilution as low as 10-4 in forsythia crude sap extracts. Restriction enzyme analysis of RT-PCR products using EcoRI and MspI showed that CMV-Fk belonged to CMV subgroup I. But, analysis of RNA fingerprinting by arbitrarily primed polymerase chain reaction (RAP-PCR) showed heterogeneity of RNA3 between CMV-Fk and CMV-Y as a member of subgroup I.

This paper deals with a subject for implementation of L+ayer 1 and Layer 2(LAPD) of ISDN user-network interface on the basis of CCITT recommandation I.411, I.412, I.441 (Q.921), I.450(Q.930) and I.451 (Q.931) for ultrasonic image transfer. For the implementa tion of LAPD protocol of ISDN in this study. PC-CARD based hardware(TA :Terminal Adopt) is proposed and operating system (PC-XINU) supporting the Multiprocessing is transplanted to it. As the Service Access Point(SAP) is accessed by using the port of XINU and Layers which consist of transmitting and receiving part are independantly processed for each other in this proposed system. It can be easy and flexible to implement LAPD protocol for the message transfer.

And the contents in Woehyung pyon are divided into head, face, eyes, ears, nose, mouth and tongue, teeth thoat from upper to lower part of the body.

Base isolation, having quite simple contents, aims to protect the buildings from earthquake-induced damages by installing structural components having low horizontal stiffness between substructure and superstructure. In this study, an appropriate base isolation system for 2-D reinforced concrete frame is investigated. For different structural heights, the structural systems of 2, 3 and 4 bays are modeled by applying base isolation systems and results are compared with conventional structural systems. 1999 Marmara earthquake data is used for applying the model by time history method in SAP2000 package. Results of various parameters such as base shear force, structure drift ratio, structure period and superstructure acceleration are discussed for all models.

Performance evaluation of RC frame building by nonlinear static pushover analysis that accounts for elastic and post elastic behavior is becoming very popular as a valid decision making tool in seismic hazard resistant designs. Available literature suggests great amount of interest has shown by researchers in suggesting refinements to geometric and material modelling to bridge the gap between analytical predictions and observed performances. Notwithstanding the attempts gaps still exists. Sequence of plastic hinge formation which has great influence on pushover analysis results is an area less investigated. This paper attempts to highlight the importance of hinge sequence considerations to make analysis results more meaningful. Variation in analysis results due to different hinge sequences have been quantified, compared and bounds on analysis results have been presented.
