  • The traveling purchaser problem (TPP) is a generalization of the well-known traveling salesman problem (TSP), which has many real-world applications such as purchasing the required raw materials for the manufacturing factories and the scheduling of a set of jobs over some machines, and many others. In the last decade, TPP has received some attention of the researchers in the operational research area. However, all of the past researches for TPP are restricted on a single purchaser (vehicle). It could be the limitation to solve the real world problem. The purpose of this paper is to suggest the capacitated multiple TPP (CMTPP). It could be used in inbound logistics optimization in supply chain management area and many others. Since TPP is known as NP-hard, we also developed the heuristic algorithm to solve the CMTPP.

  • A 31-year old salesman living in 요eoul developed sudden피y abdominal pain due to intestinal obstruction. Exploratory laparotomy exhibited segmental jejunal cellulitis caused by penetrating Anisakis larva. The patient had eaten raw fish. The typical history of intestinal anisakiasis was presented with a short review of Korean patients of anisakiasis.

유전자 알고리즘의 우수형질 선택기법에 관한 연구

  • 유전자 알고리즘(Genetic Algorithms)은 자연의 법칙에서 그 아이디어를 찾은 것으로 순회 방문자 문제(Traveling Salesman Problem : TSP) , 분배문제, 라우팅문제 등과 같은 전형적인 Combinatorial Optimization 문제에 적용되고 있다. 한편 이러한 유전자 알고리즘의 성능을 향상시키기 위해 알고리즘 실행과정에 적용할 수많은 이론과 경험적인 기법이 제시되고 있는데 이러한 기법들은 대부분 우수형질을 확보함으로써 최적의 값을 효과적으로 탐색하기 위한 것이다. 즉, 개체의 우수 형질 확보를 위한 부모 선택방법, 교차의 범위와 위치 및 방법, 그리고 돌연변이의 크기와 방법등이 포함된다. 본 연구에서는 자연의 법칙에서와 같이 자손 세대의 형질이 부모 세대보다 우수할 수 있음을 전제로 적응도 가중치에 의한 확률적인 방법에 의해서 선택하는 방법을 개선하여 부모세대가 같지 않게 하고, 우수형질이 유전되도록 하여 자손세대의 적응도가 부모세대보다 높도록 함으로써 최적의 값을 효과적으로 탐색할 수 있음을 실험하였다.

  • DNA 컴퓨팅에 대한 연구가 진행되어 강에 따라 기존의 튜링 머신과 동등한 계산 능력을 가진 다양한 계산 모델이 제안되고 있으며, 이와 함께 DNA의 병렬성을 이용하여 NP 문제들을 풀고자 하는 시도가 계속되고 있다. 그러나 전통적인 폰 노이만 기계에서의 알고리즘이 해집합에 대한 순차적 탐색을 하는 것과는 달리 가능한 모든 해를 미리 생성해 놓고 그 중에서 해를 찾아내는 기존의 DNA 컴퓨팅 알고리즘으로는 NP 문제의 크기가 증가함에 따라 초기 해의 생성조차도 불가능하게 된다. 이에 대한 해법의 하나로 진화적인 방법론을 생각할 수 있지만, 이 경우에는 진화 연산을 위한 추가적인 연산자의 고안과 이의 적용에 따른 어려움이 생긴다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 DNA 컴퓨팅에서 가능한 초기 해를 모두 생성할 수 있는지를 열역학적인 데이터에 근거한 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해서 값비싼 실제 실험의 성공 여부나 실험 디자인의 정당성 등을 미리 예측할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, DNA 컴퓨팅이 보다 큰 크기의 NP 문제를 해결할 수 있는 가능성을 제공할 수 있다.

A study on the factors and the source of information in PC purchase

  • This paper presents a direction that can help PC sales manager establish more effective marketing strategy by understanding how they get information on the products and what they consider most when the consumers purchase personal Computer. The survey was conducted on the two groups of OSAN College students classified according to their computer handling skill. Frequency analysis has shown that consumers largely got information on the products through word of mouth of friends or family members rather than mass media advertisement. And factor analysis has shown that consumers consider the qualify of after service has brand name most when they buy PC. Particularly, the consumers who are good at dealing with PC are more concerned with the quality of after service, brand name, salesman's kindness and delivery-installation than the ones having poor PC skills are. This survey results indicate that PC sales managers need to set up different marketing strategies in accordance with the consumer's PC utilizing capability.

  • 최근 ITS(Intelligent Transportation Systems)의 개발과 함께 차량용 내비게이션의 사용이 급증하면서 경로탐색의 중요성이 더욱 가속화되고 있다. 현재 차량용 내비게이션은 멀티미디어 및 정보통신 기술의 결합과 함께 다양한 기능 및 정보를 사용자에게 제공하고 있으며 이러한 기능과 정보를 사용해서 목적지점까지의 최단경로를 탐색하는 것이 내비게이션 시스템의 핵심기능이다. 이러한 경로탐색 알고리즘은 교통시스템, 통신 네트워크, 운송 시스템은 물론 이동 로봇의 경로 설정 등 다양한 분야에 사용되고 있다. 개미 집단 최적화(Ant Colony Optimization, ACO) 알고리즘은 메타 휴리스틱 탐색 방법으로 그리디 탐색(Greedy Search)뿐만 아니라 긍정적 반응의 탐색을 사용한 모집단에 근거한 접근법으로 순환 판매원 문제(Traveling Salesman Problem, TSP)를 풀기 위해 처음으로 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 개미 집단 최적화(ACO) 알고리즘이 기존의 경로 탐색 알고리즘으로 알려진 Dijkstra 보다 최단경로 탐색에 있어서 더 적합한 알고리즘이라는 것을 설명하고자 한다.

Truss Size Optimization with Frequency Constraints using ACO Algorithm (개미군락 최적화 알고리즘을 이용한 진동수 구속조건을 가진 트러스구조물의 크기최적화)

  • Ant colony optimization(ACO) technique is utilized in truss size optimization with frequency constraints. Total weight of truss to be minimized is considered as the objective function and multiple natural frequencies are adopted as constraints. The modified traveling salesman problem(TSP) is adopted and total length of the TSP tour is interpreted as the weight of the structure. The present ACO-based design optimization procedure uses discrete design variables and the penalty function is introduced to enforce design constraints during optimization process. Three numerical examples are carried out to verify the capability of ACO in truss optimization with frequency constraints. From numerical results, the present ACO is a very effective way of finding optimum design of truss structures in free vibration. Finally, we provide the present numerical results as future reference solutions.

A Hybrid Routing Protocol Based on Bio-Inspired Methods in a Mobile Ad Hoc Network

  • Networks in Mobile ad hoc contain distribution and do not have a predefined structure which practically means that network modes can play the role of being clients or servers. The routing protocols used in mobile Ad-hoc networks (MANETs) are characterized by limited bandwidth, mobility, limited power supply, and routing protocols. Hybrid routing protocols solve the delay problem of reactive routing protocols and the routing overhead of proactive routing protocols. The Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm is used to solve other real-life problems such as the travelling salesman problem, capacity planning, and the vehicle routing challenge. Bio-inspired methods have probed lethal in helping to solve the problem domains in these networks. Hybrid routing protocols combine the distance vector routing protocol (DVRP) and the link-state routing protocol (LSRP) to solve the routing problem.

  • Global e-commerce and delivery companies are actively pursuing last-mile delivery service using drones, and various delivery schedule planning studies have been conducted. In this study, separate individual route networks were constructed to reflect drone route constraints such as prohibited airspace and truck route constraints such as rivers, which previous studies did not incorporate. The A* algorithm was used to calculate the shortest path distance matrix between the starting point and destinations. In addition, we proposed an optimal delivery schedule plan using genetic algorithms and applied it to compare the efficiency with that of vehicle-only delivery.

Energy-efficient charging of sensors for UAV-aided wireless sensor network

  • Lack of sufficient battery capacity is one of the most important challenges impeding the development of wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Recent innovations in the areas of wireless energy transfer and rechargeable batteries have made it possible to advance WSNs. Therefore, in this article, we propose an energy-efficient charging of sensors in a WSN scenario. First, we have formulated the problem as an integer linear programming (ILP) problem. Then a utility function-based greedy algorithm named UGreedy/UF1 is proposed for solving the problem. Finally, the performance of UGreedy/UF1 is analyzed along with other baseline algorithms: UGreedy/UF2, 2-opt TSP, and Greedy TSP. The simulation results show that UGreedy/UF1 performs better than others both in terms of the deadline missing ratio of sensors and the total energy consumption of UAVs.
