발전량, 가격, 장기금리 변동성을 기초로 한 풍력발전사업의 실물옵션 가치평가 (Real Option Valuation of a Wind Power Project Based on the Volatilities of Electricity Generation, Tariff and Long Term Interest Rate)

  • For a proper valuation of wind power project, it is necessary to consider volatilities of key parameters such as annual energy production, electricity sales price, and long term interest rate. Real option methodology allows to calculate option values of these parameters. Volatilities to be considered in wind project valuation are 1) annual energy production (AEP) estimation due to meteorological variation and estimation errors in wind speed distribution, 2) changes in system marginal price (SMP), and 3) interest rate fluctuation of project financing which provides refinancing option to be exercised during a loan tenor for commercial scale projects. Real option valuation turns out to be more than half of the sales value based on a case study for a FIT scheme wind project that was sold to a financial investor.

관상어 시장규모 및 인식도 분석을 통한 관상어산업의 개선과제 (Improvement of Ornamental Fish Industry through analysis of recognition and market scale of the Ornamental Fish)

  • This study estimated the size of ornamental fish market as the basis survey for the development of the ornamental fish industry in Korea. It presents improvement projects agendas for the development of the Korean ornamental fish industry by investigating the challenges of the ornamental fish industry and consumer awareness. First, looking at the size of the ornamental fish market, calculated on the basis of survey results, the size of ornamental fish market is analysed as 231.8 billion won. The actual ornamental fish market is presumed to be much larger than this considering unclear gross sales from e-commerce and group sales, goods excluded from the ornamental fish export, expensive ornamental fish transaction from smuggling are missing. Ornamental fish industry and consumer awareness survey results can be described as follows: First, revenue structure of the ornamental fish market depends on a handful of expensive purchasing group rather than on low-cost consumption group. Second, many members of the ornamental fish producers, wholesalers, road shops are small-scale. Third, the sale of aquarium fish and aquarium fish related supplies in road shop have different market structures. Fourth, ornamental fish consumption is in the ongoing recession. Fifth, ornamental fish industry hopes for expansion of distribution and Research & Development. Sixth, satisfaction of ornamental fish consumers is generally low. As described above, ornamental fish industry in Korea are vulnerable in the market structure and industry is small and the consumer's satisfaction degree is staying in the 'normal' level. If current state will continue, future consumption can be reduced. It is necessary to increase the competitiveness by using various method including reorganization of the structure of the ornamental fish industry even though it is hard to reach conclusion only with the results of the survey.

농공단지의 공간적 분포 특성에 관한 연구 - 농공단지 규모를 중심으로 - (The Characteristics of Spatial Distribution of Rural Industrial Parks - Focused on Rural Industrial Parks Size -)

  • 현재 농공단지의 지역적 공간분포 특성파악이 미흡한 실정으로 전국 농공단지의 규모측면에서 매출액, 종사자를 지표로 규모성장률 측면에서는 매출액성장률, 종사자성장률을 지표로 공간적 특성을 파악하였다. 분석을 위해 포트폴리오 분석과 ArcView 3.2를 활용한 IDW 내삽 방법을 이용하였다. 분석결과 전국 농공단지의 대부분은 규모와 규모성장률이 낮은 값을 보였다. 지역별로 포트폴리오 분석결과 경남지역이 규모와 규모성장률 값이 높게 나타난 반면 IDW 내삽에서는 전북지역이 높게 나타났다. 이는 개별적인 농공단지의 값과 주변 농공단지와 연계되었을 때의 값의 차이를 보이는 것요로 농공단지의 개별적인 활성화뿐만 아니라 주변 농공단지와 연계된 지원과 관리방안이 휠요하다.

A Study on Competition Analysis in Retail Distribution Industry Using GIS in Seoul

  • Purpose: This study aims to utilize geographic data to analyze how various retail formats of large-scale stores around the traditional market affect the performance of the traditional market in Seoul, Korea. Research design, data, and methodology: The two types of catchment areas were demarcated (circle of 1km radius and Thiessen polygon) for each traditional market, and the large-scale stores located within each catchment area were identified for 153 traditional markets in Seoul, Korea. Additionally, multiple regression analysis was utilized. Results: The results revealed that the influence on the performance of the traditional markets were different depending on the retail format of the large-scale stores. Large discount stores were found to have a negative effect on the sales and the visitors of traditional markets, whereas complex shopping malls and department stores had a positive effect on the traditional markets. Conclusions: As a result of the differences in the retail format such as product categories and leisure functions, the impact of some large-scale stores on the traditional market may have a greater agglomeration effect than the consumer churn effect. Therefore, it is suggested that in the regulation of these large-scale stores, the differences in retail format should be considered for the future.

A Study on the Management Efficiency Effect Factor of Korean Ocean Carriers

  • In this study, the current state of management efficiency of ocean carriers in Korea and the factors affecting them were analyzed. The purpose of this research is to enhance global competitiveness of ocean carriers by presenting suggestions that can improve management efficiency based on the analysis results. The measurement of management efficiency was made using the DEA model. The results of testing the adequacy of the input and output variables used are as follows. Appropriate inputs are total assets, cost of goods sold, charter expenses, sales and general management expenses, and interest expenses. Appropriate variables are sales, operating income, and operating cash flow. According to the analysis results of the DEA model by these variables, inefficient carriers (78%) are nearly four times more than efficient carriers(22%). However, container carriers have the most improved management efficiency compared to 2016 and 2017. According to the panel regression analysis, the charter rate has the greatest negative impact on efficiency (CRS), and the debt rate has a significant negative impact. Thus, it appears that reducing the charter size and the debt-to-sale rate facilitate improvement of the management efficiency of ocean carriers. Additionally, the pre-sales tax return rate, value added rate, total asset turnover rate, and the scale variable and interest coverage rate have a positive (+) effect. Thus ocean carriers should restore their global competitiveness by improving management efficiency by securing stable cargoes increasing sales profitability from the cost management perspective, increasing productivity, and enhancing the efficiency of their total assets through efficient fleet management.

인터넷상의 가상생산 기반 부품판매 에이전트 개발 (Development of Part Sales Agent Coupled with Virtual Manufacturing in Internet Environment)

  • The sales activity of most of small manufacturing companies is based on orders of buyers. The process of promotion, negotiation, receipt and selection of orders of the manufacturers is closely coupled with the load status of the production lines. The decision on whether to accept an order or not, or the selection of optimal order set among excessive orders is entirely dependent on the schedule of production lines. However, in the real world, since the production scheduling activity is mainly performed by human experts, most of small manufacturers are suffer from being unable to meet due dates, lack of rapid decision on the acceptance of new order. Recently, Internet based Electronic Commerce is recognized as one of the alternatives for strengthening sales power of small and medium companies. However, small and medium manufacturers can't adjust properly to the new environment because they are in short of money, personnel, and technology. To cope with this problem, this paper deals with development of part sales agent coupled with virtual manufacturing in Internet environment that consist of selection agent, advertisement agent, selection agent, negotiation agent, and virtual manufacturing system. This paper develops a time-bounded negotiation mechanism for small and medium manufacturers in agent-based automated negotiation between customers and negotiation agents. Furthermore, to select optimal order set maximized profit, we first formulate the order selection problem with mixed integer programming, but the computation time of IP is not acceptable for real world scale problem. To overcome this problem and dynamic nature of virtual manufacturing, we suggest a genetic algorithm approach, which shows a reasonable computation time for real world case and good incremental problem solving capability.

체질의료서비스산업의 현황파악을 위한 조사연구 - 전국 한방의료기관을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Present Status of Constitutional Medical Care Service)

Objects The objectives of this study were to examine the present state of Oriental clinical service based on Constitutional medicine and to make an accurate estimate of it’s scale after 10 years. 2. Methods The data for this study were collected from a questionnaire survey to 319 Traditional Korean Medical doctors who were selected as random samples. And this questionnaire is consist of several inquiries related with management and application of constitutional medicine. 3. Results and Conclusions The major results of this survey are following: l. The 52.8% facilities of all Oriental medical centers and Clinics in the whole country are applying Constitutional medicine for treating patients. 2. The 24.8% persons of all health workers are engaged in Constitutional clinical service. 3. The proportion of sales by Constitutional clinical services to the total sales by Traditional clinical service is 23.5% in 2005. 4. The proportion of application to medical care insurance by Constitutional clinical service is 17.9% of all amounts After taking these results into consideration, the sales of Constitutional clinical service now are estimated to make up 23.8% percent of the total traditional medical service and the amount of it’s sales after 10 years is expected to increase up to 3.6 times as much as the current quantity.

창원시 다가구주택의 매매가격에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석 (An Analysis of the Factors Influencing Sales Price of Multi-Household Houses in Chang-won City)

  • 다가구주택은 수익형부동산으로 활용되고 있는 주택의 유형들 중 상대적으로 적은 금액으로 투자가 가능하고 소유주가 직접 거주하며 임대수익을 누릴 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 아파트에 비해 상대적으로 연구가 미진했던 주택 유형 중 하나인 다가구주택의 매매가격에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 분석을 통하여 다가구주택의 실수요자와 투자자의 매수 의사결정 및 디벨로퍼의 개발전략 수립 시 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 실증분석을 위해 경상남도 창원시에서 2016년에서 2018년 사이에 거래된 다가구주택 매매사례 299개를 구득하여 헤도닉 가격모형을 활용하여 분석하였다. 종속변수는 다가구주택의 연면 적당 매매가격으로 선정하였으며, 독립변수는 지역특성, 입지특성, 주택특성 및 시기더미로 구분하여 설정하였다. 실증분석 결과 지역적으로는 의창구과 성산구 지역의 가격이 높았고, 입지특성에서 유의한 변수로는 '주요상권과의 거리(-)', '대로 및 광로와의 거리(-)', '도로 2면 접면 여부(+)'인 것으로 나타났다. 주택특성의 변수들 중에서는 '연면적(+)', '원룸형 여부(+)', '남향여부(+)', '경과연수(-)', '옵션제공여부(+)'가 매매가격에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

패널회귀분석을 이용한 글로벌 선사의 재무요인 특성분석에 관한 연구 (An analysis of Financial Factors' Characteristic for Global Shipping Companies using Panel Regression Analysis)

  • 연구는 부채비율을 종속변수로 하고 ROE(자기자본 이익률), 매출액, 유동비율, 자본총계, 운임지수인 SCFI(Shanghai Containerized Freight Index)를 독립변수로 하여 패널회귀분석을 실시하였다. GLS 분석결과, 유동비율의 경우 부채비율에 부(-)의 영향을 끼쳤고, 매출액의 경우 부채비율에 정(+)의 영향을 끼쳤다. 또한 자본총계는 부채비율에 부(-)의 영향을 미쳤다. 하지만 ROE의 경우 가설과는 다르게 부채비율에는 부(-)의 영향을 끼쳤고, SCFI지수는 유의미하지 않았다. 본 연구의 시사점으로 글로벌 선사의 부채비율이 높아질수록 글로벌 선사가 규모의 경제를 달성해 매출이 증가한 것을 확인했다. 하지만 타인자본 투입을 통한 규모의 경제실현은 매출액 증가에는 도움은 되지만, 당기순이익에는 영향을 미치지 못함을 확인하였다. 선사는 영업력을 확대하고 대형 컨테이너선을 확보하는 등의 화주 신뢰성을 확보하는 전략에 병행해야 한다. 향후 연구에서는 환율, 세계 경제 성장률, 제조업 생산지수 등을 고려한 분석이 필요하다.

Additive DEA 모형을 이용한 지상파방송사업자와 종합편성 방송채널사용사업자의 효율성 분석 (Efficiency Analysis of Terrestrial Broadcasters and Comprehensive Programming Program Providers by Additive DEA)

  • 우리나라 전체 방송사업매출액이 증가하고 있는 상황에서 지상파방송사업자의 매출액은 정체되는 반면 후발 진입자인 종합편성 방송채널사용사업자의 매출액은 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 상황에서 3개 중앙 지상파방송과 4개 종합편성방송의 상대적 효율성과 초효율성을 분석하여 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 2012년부터 2019년까지의 투입 및 산출 자료를 활용하였으며 상대적 효율성을 측정하는 DEA 모형 중에서 비방사형 모형인 Additive DEA와 Additive Super-efficiency DEA를 사용하였다. 분석에서는 규모의 경제가 존재하는 방송산업의 특성을 반영하여 가변규모수익(VRS)을 가정하였다. 분석결과, 유형자산의 투입여유분이 중앙 지상파방송의 효율성을 감소시키는 가장 두드러진 비효율의 원인으로 나타났으며 종합편성방송은 유형자산의 투입여유분과 매출액의 산출여유분에서 비효율의 원인이 발생하였다.
