병원에 종사하는 의료기사 직종의 전문직업성과 조직성과 (The Medical Professionalism and Organizational Performance of Medical Technician in Hospital)

  • 본 연구는 35개 병원급 이상 의료기관에 종사하는 물리치료사, 방사선사, 임상병리사, 작업치료사 437명을 대상으로 전문직업성이 조직성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 의료기사 직종 종사자들의 전문직업성은 직업에 대한 가치 구성변수 중 직무수행능력과 직무의미성 보수의 적절성 직무자율성이 성별과 연령대에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었고, 직무에 대한 영향력은 연령에 따라서만 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 조직성과 측정변수인 직장에 대한 애착에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 변수는 직업에 대한 가치 변수중 보수의 적절성이었다. 셋째, 직무특성 중 현 병원 근무년수가 높을수록 직장에 대한 애착이 높다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 넷째, 직종별로 살펴본 결과, 의료기사 직종의 조직성과(직장에 대한 애착)에 영향을 미치는 전문직업성 변수들은 의료기사 직종에 따라 차이가 있었다.

Analysis of Factors Affecting the Quality of Work Life of Dental Hygienists Based on the Culture-Work-Health Model

  • This study investigated the relationship between the organizational culture, organizational support, organizational health, personal health, and quality of work life of dental hygienists and analyzed the factors affecting the quality of work life in order to identify ways to improve their quality of work life. A total of 320 dental hygienists completed a self-administered survey; after excluding data from 21 respondents, 299 responses were included in the analysis. Frequency analyses, t-tests, one-way analysis of variation (ANOVA), and correlation analyses were conducted. A path analysis was also conducted to confirm the causal relationships. The findings are as follows. First, there was a significant difference in several general characteristics of the organizational culture including years in the current job and the number of dental hygienists; organizational support including age and the number of dental hygienists; organizational health including years in the current job and annual salary; and personal health including annual salary. Second, the quality of work life showed a positive correlation with organizational culture, organizational support, personal health, and organizational health in that order. Third, the results of path analysis revealed that organizational culture had a positive effect on organizational support; organizational support and personal health on organizational health; organizational support on personal health; and organizational support and organizational health on quality of work life. In addition, organizational support and organizational health had a direct effect on the quality of work life, while organizational culture, organizational support, and personal health had an indirect effect. These results indicated existence of a relationship among organizational culture, organizational support, organizational health, personal health, and quality of work life. It is necessary to identify ways to improve the quality of work life of dental hygienists.

산림작업(山林作業) 영림단(營林團) 운영개선(運營改善) 방안(方案)에 관한 연구(硏究) (Strategies for Improving Forest Work Team Management)

  • 본 논문은 우리나라 기능인 영림단에 대하여 1999년부터 2003년까지 5년 동안의 영림단 운영실적을 분석하였으며, 그 결과를 통하여 영림단의 운영개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 기능인 영림단의 연간 사업일수가 너무 적어 수입이 낮고, 영림단원의 이탈을 방지하기 위하여 일반적인 숲 가꾸기 공공근로 사업을 줄이고 통합육림 사업을 확대하여, 연중 안정적으로 작업 할 수 있도록 사업량을 확대하여 기능인 영림단의 생계유지 및 소득을 증대시켜야 할 것이다. 모든 영림단원을 임업기능인 훈련교육을 받은 자격을 갖춘 영림단으로 유도하며, 국유림 영림단원이 숲 가꾸기 공공근로 사업에 참여할 경우 일반근로자와 구별하여 별도 수당을 지급해야 한다. 또한 미래의 기계화를 위해서도 기술자를 양성해야 하며, 교육훈련을 통해 기능화하고 자격증 보유비율을 높이도록 하며, 기능인 영림단의 산림작업 능력 향상과 전문 직업의식 고취를 위하여 기계화 교육을 실시하여 기계화률 정착시키며, 교육기간에는 일정한 수당을 지급해야 하는 것으로 판단되었다.

의약분업 전후 병원 재무성과의 변화 (Hospital Financial Performances and Separation of Dispensary from Medical Practice)

  • This study analyzes the effect of separation of dispensary from medical practice on hospital management performance. The results are as follow. The earning ratios of large size hospitals become deteriorated significantly after the separation of dispensary. The growth ratios of revenues from inpatient were unchanged, but the growth ratios of revenues from outpatient of large and middle size hospitals were decreased significantly. Hospitals can't sell the medicines to the outpatient after the separation of dispensary, but they can do to the outpatient. The labor cost ratios of small and large size hospitals are increased significantly after the separation of dispensary. There are two reasons for increase of labor cost ratios. One is the decrease of material cost ratio. The other is the increase of doctor's salary. The material cost ratios of every size hospital are decreased significantly after the separation of dispensary. Because medicines costs of outpatients are decreased. The labor cost and doctors' salary per patient of middle and large size hospitals are increased significantly after the separation of dispensary. And average treatment fees per day of inpatients of middle and large size hospitals are increased significantly after the separation of dispensary. But those of outpatients are decreased significantly. Average numbers of outpatients per bed of small and large hospitals are decreased significantly after the separation of dispensary. And average numbers of inpatients per bed of large hospitals are decreased significantly. In summary, as a consequence of separation of dispensary from medical practice, management performances of large size hospitals become deteriorated significantly.

의류무역회사의 해외생산공장 현황과 소싱지역의 한류 영향에 대한 연구 - 베트남과 인도네시아를 중심으로 - (A Study of Overseas Manufacturing Factories of Garment Vendors and the Influence of Korean Wave over the Sourcing Area - Focused on Vietnam and Indonesia -)

  • This study reviewed current facts on overseas manufacturing factories of garment vendors that were launched in the countries that have a great influence of the Korean Wave, and investigated the influence of Korean Wave in its sourcing area. By doing so, this study aims to present basic data in order to help fabric and garment vendors to enter into the fashion markets of different countries through a local network. For data collection and analysis, Windows SPSS 19.0 was used for frequency analysis of the facts and figures of the local manufacturing factories. In-depth interviews regarding the current facts on local manufacturing factories and the influence of Korean Wave were conducted with 16 Korean garment manufacturing factories in Vietnam and 9 in Indonesia among the overseas garment companies that were registered in the Korean Apparel Industry Association. Through the interview, it was found that new companies should investigate custom tariffs, salary level of the local employees, and infrastructure prior to launching above all. Also, as a result of analyzing competitors and competitive advantages, good treatment of local employees and a good labor environment were noted the most. As for the influence of the Korean Wave, the image of Korea was positive and favorable, but it did not directly affect the preference for Korean companies. After investigating the obstacles that prevented the entrance into local markets, it was found that the rise in the salary level was the biggest hindrance.

경기 안산지역 학교급식 조리종사원의 업무특성에 대한 만족도 (Job Satisfaction of School Food-Service Employee in Ansan Gyoeng-gi Do)

  • The objective of this study is to verify work satisfaction of school food-service employee, of their job characteristics. Subjects were comprised 9 elementary schools, 11 middle schools, and 3 high schools in Ansan city. Data were analyzed 203 questionnaires for frequency, means, one-way ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, t-test, and Pearson correlation using SPSS PC Package. Most of the respondents were high school graduate(91.1%), under one million won salary(41.9%), and non license holder(60.6%). Working conditions were part-time job(41.9%), unlimited contractors(51.2%), and 3-5 years of working experience(21.7%). Measure of overall job satisfaction by Likert-type 5 scale, satisfaction of work operation attitude was 3.55 points and work characteristic duty of 4.32 points. The certificate qualified and elementary school's working posture were more satisfied their work attitude than other groups(p<0.05). Salary satisfaction score showed 2.64 points, but the work esteem satisfaction showed 3.34 points. The factor of working circumstance and potentiality satisfaction was only 2.61 points, but interpersonal connection and communication satisfaction was 3.50 points. Between job satisfactions factors, they were highly correlated with each other. The pride and characteristic duty of the work showed the strongest correlated(p<0.001). The satisfaction score of work operation attitude were significantly correlated with characteristic duty(p<0.001), work esteem, interpersonal relationships and communication(p<0.01). With this results, work satisfaction of food service employees showed a relatively high to perform a job task characteristics and work attitudes. However, the working environment and growth in salaries satisfaction were low. A set of duties must be paid according to the labor intensity. As removing the disturbing factors, the improvement in the quality of the feed will be able to expect substantial effects.

보육교사의 사회인구학적 변인에 따른 직무환경의 인식 차이 (The Difference of Child-Care Teachers' Perception on the Working Environment by Social and Demographic Characteristics)

  • This study aims to analyze teachers job satisfaction according to the working environment of teachers working in child-care centers and to investigate which variables of the working environment relate to job satisfaction of child-care teachers. The main results of this study were as follows. First, married teachers are more satisfied with the job itself, supervision, and colleague relations compared to teachers who are not married. Teachers with certificates are more satisfied with the job itself compared to teachers without certificates. Second, teachers's job satisfaction is significantly correlated with their salary, welfare, and colleague relations. Also teachers' job satisfaction is correlated with responsibility in the case that teachers have a good relation with their principal and child-care parents. Third, the results of this study show that teachers consider substitute teachers, vacation systems, day care systems, compliant with the ratio of teacher and children, job security, order of legal status as important. With regard to external compensation, teachers want salary increase, payment on overtime labor, flexible work-time, use of both full-time and part-time teachers, expansion of educational materials, increase on purchasing cost for textbooks and materials. To improve the quality of child-care teachers' working environment as well as their satisfaction, practical policies need to be implemented.

사서의 직무만족도에 관한 메타분석 연구 (A Meta-Analysis of Librarians' Job Satisfaction Studies)

  • 본 연구는 선행연구의 연구결과를 데이터로 간주하여 통계분석하는 메타분석방법을 사용하여 사서의 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 요인을 연구하였다. 선행연구 27편으로부터 집단변수로는 남녀성별과 결혼유무, 종속변수로는 전체직무만족도와 7개 하위변수(직무자체, 급여, 승진, 감독, 근무환경, 사회적 인식, 자아실현)가 선정되어 분석되었다. 분석결과 남녀간 사회적 인식과, 승진, 감독, 근무환경의 효과크기는 유의한 차이를 보였으나, 감독과 근무환경의 효과크기만 동질적인 것으로 분석되었다. 이질적으로 분석된 사회적 인식과 승진에 대해서는 랜덤효과분석을 추가로 수행한 결과 승진의 효과크기만 유의한 차이를 보였다. 결혼여부에서는 직무자체와 급여, 자아실현의 효과크기가 유의한 차이를 보였으나, 이질적으로 판명된 직무자체의 효과크기는 랜덤효과분석에서 유의한 차이를 보이지 못하였다. 연구시기 (2000년전후)는 중재변수가 되지 못한 것으로 분석되었다.

일부 치과위생사의 사회심리적 스트레스 수준 및 관련요인 (Psychosocial distress of dental hygienists' and their related factors)

  • The levels of psychosocial stresses of dental hygienist were analyzed to reveal the various factors related to them. The self-administered questionnaires were performed, to 276 dental hygienist in Daejeon City. Univariate analysis and multiple regression were performed with survey results, in which a degree of psychosocial stress was dependent variable and others were independent variable. 1. In terms of various levels of psychosocial stress according to the higher level of stress was found in the group of lower age, unmarried, and without spare times for hobby activities, the group with shorter-term job career, lower salary, and stress was found in the group who think that their job is considered as low position or their job is not high position in society or their prospect about job is discouraging, the group without regularly exercise, without regularly eating habits, in the group with higher level of job demand, lower job autonomy, and lower social support from colleagues in work than their respective counterparts. 2. Concerning correlation between psychosocial stress and various factors, while level of stress was negatively correlated with age, job career, salary, socioeconomic status of oneself, socioeconomic status of dental hygienist, future status of dental hygienist, job autonomy, social support from superiors, social support from colleagues, social support, but it was positively correlated with job demand. 3. Multiple regression revealed that the factors which influence on psychosocial stress included hobby activities, sleeping hours, job demand, which has explanatory powers of 29.9%. Therefore, to reduce of stress of dental hygienists, it is required to develop an effective strategy that institutional support for improvement of job environments and research for them be revitalized.

종합병원 물리치료사의 임파워먼트가 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Empowerment on Job Satisfaction for Physical Therapists in General Hospitals)

  • PURPOSE: This study aimed to investigate the effect of empowerment on job satisfaction for physical therapists in general hospitals. METHODS: A total of 297 physical therapists working in general hospitals throughout the country participated in the study survey using self-administered questionnaires. The questionnaires comprised three major parts, i.e., questions about general characteristics, empowerment, and job satisfaction, which were rated using a 5-point Likert scale. Statistical analysis was performed to analyze the frequency and percentage of participants, and the independent t-test and analysis of variance were performed to determine the difference in job satisfaction according to the general characteristics. Stepwise multiple regression was used to evaluate the factors that affect job satisfaction. RESULTS: The average of total empowerment, including two subordinate concepts, was 3.29 points, that of psychological empowerment was 3.53 points, and that of structural empowerment was 3.05 points. The average job satisfaction of the participants was 3.43 points, and it showed a significant difference in age, overall work experience, current work experience, position, annual salary, and daily work hours. Moreover, job satisfaction increased as the subordinate factors for empowerment, i.e., support, resources, chance, and competence, increased. Other factors that affect job satisfaction were daily work hours, number of colleagues, type of work, annual salary, and therapeutic assistance. CONCLUSION: This study demonstrated that job satisfaction of physical therapists working in general hospitals was related to empowerment, thereby indicating that job satisfaction and work performance can be increased by improving their empowerment.
