노심손상빈도 평가를 위한 APR+ PAFS의 안전 해석 (Safety Analysis of APR+ PAFS for CDF Evaluation)

  • The Advanced Power Reactor Plus(APR+), which is a GEN III+ reactor based on the APR1400, is being developed in Korea. In order to enhance the safety of the APR+, a passive auxiliary feedwater system(PAFS) has been adopted in the APR+. The PAFS replaces the conventional active auxiliary feedwater system(AFWS) by introducing a natural driving force mechanism while maintaining the system function of cooling the primary side and removing the decay heat. As the PAFS completely replaces the conventional AFWS, it is required to verify the cooling capacity of PAFS for the core damage frequency(CDF) evaluation. For this reason, this paper discusses the cooling performance of the PAFS during transient accidents. The test case and scenarios were picked from the result of the sensitivity analysis in APR+ Probabilistic Safety Assessment(PSA). The analysis was performed by the best estimate thermal-hydraulic code, RELAP5/.MOD3.3. This study shows that the plant maintains the stable state without the core damages under the given test scenarios. The results of PSA considering this analysis' results shows that the CDF values are decreased. The analysis results can be used for more realistic and accurate performance of a PSA.

자동차 기능안전 표준을 반영하는 개선된 FTA 및 위험원 분석 기법 (An Improved Method of FTA and Associated Risk Analysis Reflecting Automotive Functional Safety Standard)

  • 자동차 및 철도 등 수송 시스템에서 무인화 운전으로의 진전으로 인해 시스템 운영 시 안전성의 확보는 필수불가결한 요소로 간주되어 왔다. 자동차 안전설계를 뒷받침하기 위해 제정된 기능안전 표준인 ISO 26262에서는 위험원 분석 및 평가 그리고 안전 설계를 수행할 때 시스템 설계 정보를 적절하게 반영함으로써 안전성이 확보되는 자동차 시스템을 구현하기 위한 절차가 제시되어 있다. 이에 따라 위험원 분석에 관해 많은 연구가 이루어졌는데, 주로 이미 운영되고 있는 유사 시스템 사례에 의존하여 설계 정보를 활용하였다. 먼저 물리 구성품 수준에서 설계정보를 추출하고, 이로부터 기능 들을 역추적 한 후에 위험원을 식별하는 방법이 연구되었다. 이러한 방법은 빠르고 쉽게 위험원의 식별이 가능하기는 하지만, 설계 요구사항이 변경되거나 새로운 시스템을 설계할 때에는 설계 정보를 제대로 반영할 수 없어 일부 위험원이 누락될 수 있는 가능성이 있다. 이러한 점을 해결하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 기능안전표준에서 제시하는 안전수명주기 모델의 위험원 분석 단계에서 효과적인 방법을 연구하였다. 구체적으로 시스템 개념 설계를 Top-Down 방식으로 수행하면서 확보한 설계 정보를 위험원 분석에 적절하게 활용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 먼저 시스템 개념 설계를 수행하고, 획득된 기능 설계 결과를 분석하였다. 그러고 나서 기능 분석 결과를 활용하는 기능기반 Fault Tree Analysis 방법을 제시하고 위험원 분석을 수행하였다. 또한 자동차 시스템에서의 안전 설계 사례 연구를 통하여 본 논문에서 제시하는 방법이 대상 시스템의 설계 정보가 체계적으로 반영되어 누락 가능성이 줄어든 위험원 분석이 가능함을 보여 주었다.

  • The human hand is a complex structure that performs various functions for activities of daily living and occupations. This paper presents a literature review on the methodologies used to evaluate hand functions from a biomechanics standpoint, including anthropometry, kinematics, kinetics, and electromyography (EMG). Anthropometry describes the dimensions and measurements of the hand. Kinematics includes hand movements and the range of motion of finger joints. Kinetics includes hand models for tendon and joint force analysis. EMG is used on hand muscles associated with hand functions and with signal-processing technology.

  • In the article, an analysis of the factors was carried out, which injected into the efficiency of the function of navigation systems in the minds of unimportance. Carrying out analyzes allowing for the visibility of relevant direct adjustments to the effectiveness of the function Inertial navigation systems in the minds of non-value. The designation of the navigation system was assigned to a complex of navigation systems on ships processing of the vector of navigation parameters, so that they can be victorious in the control systems of the ship's collapse, and the safety of floating is safe.

  • Process capability indices are widely used in industries and quality assurance system. When designing the parameter on the multiple quality characteristics, there has been a study for optimization of problems, but there has been few former study on the possible conflicting phenomena in considertion of the correlations among the characteristics. To solve the issue on the optimal design for muliple quality characteristics, the study propose the expected loss function with cross-product terms among the characteristics and derived range of the coefficients of terms. Therefore, the analysis have to be required a multivariate statistical technique. This paper introduces to multivariate capability indices and then selects a multivariate process capability index incorporated both the process variation and the process deviation from target among these indices under the multivariate normal distribution. We propose a new multivariate capability index $MC_{pm}^{++}$ using quality loss function instead of the process variation and this index is compared with the proposed indices when quality characteristics are independent and dependent of each other,

산화제 터보펌프의 구조 강도 및 진동 안전성에 관한 연구 (Investigation on the Strength and Vibration Safety of the Oxidizer Turbopump)

  • Structural and dynamic analyses of inducer and impeller for an oxidizer turbopump are peformed to investigate the safety level of strength and vibration at a design point. Due to high rotational speed of turbopump, effects of centrifugal forces are carefully considered in the structural analysis. Hydrodynamic pressure is also considered as an external force applied to inducer and impeller blades. A three-dimensional Finite Element Method (FEM) is used for linear and nonlinear structural analyses with modified Newton-Raphson iteration method. After the nonlinear trim solution is obtained from the structural analysis, dynamic characteristics are obtained as a function of rotational speed from the linearized eigenvalue analysis at an equilibrium position. According to the results of numerical analysis, the safety margins of strength and vibration resonances are sufficient enough for safe operation within the requited life cycle.

  • The Electronic Interlocking unit in railway signalling system is safety-related facilities to determine route and speed for train running. In particular, the SSI(Solid State Interlocking) is Electronic Interlocking unit for high-speed railway, and it performs safety-critical function by MPM(Micro-Processor Module). Meanwhile, MPM is composed of the PES(Programmable Electronic System)-based system, and the PES-based system in railway safety-related facilities should be implemented by complying with the safety requirements defined in IEC 62425 and IEC 61508. In this paper, we performed modeling of failure rate and reliability for MPM implemented by fault tolerance methods and analyzed functional safety for MPM. Moreover, we determined SIL(Safety Integrity Level) for MPM according to the safety requirements defined in IEC 61508 based on an analyzed functional safety.

초음파처리를 이용한 Haematococcus pluvialis로부터의 아스타잔틴의 추출 및 분석 (Extraction and Analysis of Astaxanthin from Haematococcus pluvialis Using Sonication)

  • 본 연구에서는 헤마토코커스 플루비알리스(H. pluvialis)의 파쇄세포(cracked cell)로부터 추출된 아스타잔틴의 HPLC 분석방법을 확립하고, UV/visible 및 FT-IR 분광분석법을 이용하여 헤마토코커스 추출물과 합성 아스타잔틴의 구조적 특성을 조사하였다. 아스타잔틴을 메탄올 용매에 녹이고, 45분 정도 초음파로 처리할 경우 교반처리하는 경우 보다 1.5배 정도 용해율이 높아지는 것을 확인하였다. 에스터 형태로 존재하는 추출물 중의 아스타잔틴의 분석을 위해 cholesterol esterase를 이용해 헤마토코커스 추출물을 가수분해처리를 하여 유리형으로 전환시킨 후 HPLC 분석을 수행하였다. 아스타잔틴의 함량을 분석하기 위해 역상칼럼(C18)과 UV/visible 검출기를 사용하였고, 이동상은 메탄올과 물(95:5)의 혼합용매를 사용하여 분석하였다. 효소처리 후, 헤마토코커스 추출물의 흡수스펙트럼이 합성 아스타잔틴과 유사한 패턴으로 변화하는 것을 확인함으로써 헤마토코커스로부터의 아스타잔틴의 추출 및 분석조건을 확립하였다.
