제주특별자치도 사회복지시설종사자의 교육요구 조사 (Survey on Educational Needs for Workers in Social Welfare Facilities in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 제주지역 사회복지시설 종사자들이 업무 수행 과정에서 겪고 있는 요구 중에서 지식, 기술, 태도의 결핍과 관련된 교육요구를 밝히고, 다양한 형태의 교육활동을 전개하기 위한 교육체계의 수립 및 향후 교육과정 설계의 기초 자료를 제시하고자 함이다. 교육요구분석 결과, 사회복지시설 종사자에게 필요한 상위 10개의 교육과정을 살펴보면, 위기(응급)상황 대처기술의 요구가 가장 높았으며 클라이언트에 대한 이해와 실천(특성, 인권, 안전, 건강 등), 사례관리(심화), 상담기법(기본), 사례관리(기본), 상담기법(심화), 사회복지 프로그램 기획과 운영, 민원대응 및 감정노동 관리, 의사소통 능력향상(직원 간, 클라이언트 등), 사업성과(사업 계획, 실행, 관리 및 평가 등) 순으로 나타났다. 또한 제주지역 사회복지시설 종사자들은 직무전문교육의 필요성은 매우 높게 인식하고 있었으나, 도내 직무교육의 다양성과 체계적 훈련과정에 대한 만족도는 매우 낮게 나타났다. 사회복지종사자를 위한 체계적 교육훈련이 이루어지기 위해서는 직무교육의 질적 성장, 직무중심의 교육과정 확대, 전문성 있는 우수한 강사진의 확보 등 다양한 결과들이 도출되었다.

위탁급식경영업체의 영양사, 조리사의 고용형태 및 학력별 교육요구도 분석 (The Analysis of Education Needs of Dietitians and Cooks According to the Type of Hire and Education Background in Contracted Foodservice Management Company)

  • This study was designed to develop the education and training program of dietitians and cooks in contracted foodservice management company. The instruments were developed by reviewing extensive literatures on education programs and by interviewing with dietitians and cooks who were working in contracted foodservice management company. A total of 400 questionnaires were hand delivered at the fourteen contracted foodservice management companies by designated coordinators. A total of 286 questionnaires were usable; resulting in a 70.0% response rate. Statistics data analysis was completed using the SPSS for frequency analysis, reliability, mean value, t-test and ANOVA. The results of this study were summarized as follows: 1. The dietitians wanted to take a management course. The cooks wanted to take a culinary education. The dietitians and cooks took an emphasis on service education, foodborne illness & HACCP and sanitation & safety. Service as well as the taste of food and sanitation was emphasized according to the flow of customer satisfaction. 2. Contracted foodservice management company should provide dietitians and cooks with an education for the job to accomplish customer satisfactions.

음식윤리 접근에 의한 식생활교육 효과 증진 (Food Ethics Approach Improves the Effectiveness of Dietary Education)

  • This study was performed to improve the effectiveness of dietary education using a food ethics approach. Dietary education is a way of practicing food ethics based on Korean culture. The core values of dietary education and the keywords related to food ethics can be combined into environment·life, health·wisdom, and consideration·happiness. Sustainable dietary life comprises the value system of dietary education based on core values. To reach the ultimate goal of food ethics-sustaining the survival of the human race, the coexistence of humans and nature, the coexistence of humans and humans, and the fulfillment of food requirements are needed. These needs yield certain core principles, including respect for life, environmental preservation, justice, the priority of consumers, dynamic equilibrium, and the priority of safety. The extended ethical matrix with six core principles and three interest groups can be used for an ethical analysis either qualitative or quantitative. It is believed that if food ethics are introduced into dietary education programs, the effectiveness of education can be improved.

학교 재난안전 교육연수과정 실태분석 및 개선방향에 관한 연구 - 학교시설에 대한 재난안전관리 중심으로 - (A Study on the Actual Condition Analysis and Improvement Direction of Disaster Safety Education Training Course in School - Focused on Disaster Safety Management for School Facilities -)

  • 이 연구는 학교 재난안전관리 교육연수과정의 운영실태 분석과 교직원의 수요조사를 통해 바람직한 재난안전 교육과정을 제시하는데 있으며, 분석 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, 학교 재난안전 교육연수과정의 문제점으로 법 제도의 미비와 학교 재난안전 직무와 연계되지 못한 교육과정이었으며 둘째, 전문적 지식을 습득할 수 있도록 법 제도의 개선과 교육연수과정이 다양화 되어야 한다. 셋째, 교육행정직은 시설물 안전 및 유지관리와 재난대응 교육과정으로, 교육(지원)청 기술직은 학교시설 사업승인 절차 및 방법과 건물의 내진보강, 구조안전, 석면 해체 제거 등의 교육과정으로, 교육전문직은 학교 재난안전관리 책임자로서 재난대응을 위한 역할, 재난발생시 조치사항 등의 교육과정으로 편성하고, 교사는 학생의 안전지도 중심으로 편성함으로써 교직원의 직렬별 수요에 맞는 교육연수과정으로 개선해야 할 필요성이 있다. 넷째, 바람직한 교수학습 방법으로는 강의 및 체험학습 방식이 가장 바람직한 것으로 확인되었고, 주요 순위는 지진재해, 화재, 가스, 태풍, 통학로, 전기안전으로 나타났다.

단체급식소 조리종사자를 위한 위생교육매체(CD-ROM) 개발 및 평가 (Development and Evaluation of Food Safety Training Program for Employees in Foodservice Operations)

  • This study was conducted to develop and evaluate food safety training program for employees in foodservice operations. The developed CD-ROM was consisted of 5 parts: foodbome illness, personal hygiene, food handling in food production steps, HACCP system, and sanitary facilities. It has made slides for all contents, the animation and movie to raise interests and concentrations, and illustrations and pictures to understand. The evaluation checklists were developed 15 questionnaires including understanding(5), information(3), concentration(4), recommendation(2), and the most important factor(1) and measured by Likert 5-point scale. Fifty-four dietitians in Daegu and Gyeongbuk schools, hospitals, and industries foodservice operations responded to the surveys. The results are as follows; The most important part in the CD-ROM was personal hygiene(33.3%). The total mean was $3.95{\pm}0.41,\;3.91{\pm}0.46$ on understanding, $3.89{\pm}0.50$ on information, $3.87{\pm}0.55$ on concentration and $4.29{\pm}0.49$ on recommendation. The score was significantly higher in the recommendation part than others. Overall, as the developed CD-ROM has achieved fine score, a study on the effect of education needs to be followed. Moreover, consistent and organized education by developing a variety of sanitation education methods should be conducted.

현장 활용성과 효과 제고를 위한 물질안전보건자료 제도개선 방안 (Improvement of Material Safety Data Sheet Regulation for Enhancing the Effectiveness and Efficiency in the Field)

  • Objective: The Korean Industrial Hygiene Association(KIHA) held a forum on "Improvement of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) regulations for enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency in the field" at its 2018 Winter Conference(February 2, 2018). This article summarized the major consensus opinions developed at the forum. Methods: Since the initial implementation of the MSDS system, the contents of the system have changed and related studies have been reviewed. Before the forum, online questionnaires were developed and opinions on the effectiveness of MSDS program were collected from various strata of the occupational health field. We also summarized the key opinions of companies, trade unions, experts, and government officials as discussed at the forums. Results: A total of 265 opinions were gathered through online questionnaire surveys from safety and health managers, trade unions, government officials, and health professionals. The results of online surveys and discussions showed some differences of opinion, but it was a common perception that the current MSDS system is not working effectively in the workplace. It was considered necessary to strengthen MSDS education and to make it easier for workers to understand and deliver the necessary information. In addition, it was confirmed that the supply of and education on MSDS to small- and medium-sized enterprise workers is not being well executed. In particular, MSDS training for subcontract workers should be carried out under the responsibility of the contracting employer. Conclusions: In order for the MSDS system to serve more effectively in the field in the future, it needs to be improved in terms of the effective education and training considering the type of industry and employment.

해상 구조 봉사단체의 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Marine Rescue Volunteer Organizations)

  • 광활한 바다에서 발생하는 해상 사고를 정부기관의 제한된 자원만으로 대응하기 어렵기 때문에 해상 안전관리에는 적극적 민간 참여가 요구된다. 이 연구에서는 재난 안전관리 거버넌스에 대한 고찰을 바탕으로 한국과 미국, 일본, 영국의 해상 구조 봉사단체를 비교하여 한국의 해상 구조 봉사단체 발전 방안을 제안하였다. 선진 해상 구조봉사단체들은 오랜 역사적 전통을 가지고 있으며, 전국의 관할 해역을 포괄할 수 있는 조직네트워크를 구축하여 자주적으로 운영한다. 주요 일상 활동에 해상 구조와 함께 대중 해상 안전교육, 기금모금이 포함된다. 각 국가의 해상 안전관리 책임 행정기관과 협력관계를 맺고 있으며, 이는 제도적으로 보장되고 있다. 기부금을 주요 재원으로 하며 구성원은 주로 시민 자원봉사자이며 부분적으로 비용에 대한 보상을 받는다. 한국의 해상 구조 봉사단체 발전을 위해서는 '민간자율구조대'의 소속감 강화, 대중교육과 기금모금 사업 정착, 법령 개정을 통한 제도적 뒷받침 등이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

학교 영양교육 수행 현황 및 영양교사 직무 비중 변화 인식 (Investigation of Status of School Nutrition Education and Changes in Perception of Nutrition Teacher's Job)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of school nutrition education and changes in perception of nutrition teacher's job in order to determine the need for redesign to achieve their ideal job. The questionnaire was distributed to 1,550 nutrition teachers, and a total of 1,487 usable data were collected with a 96% response rate from August to December 2015. Statistical data analysis was completed by using SPSS/Win 21.0 for descriptive analysis. The results were as follows: 45.5% of nutrition teachers periodically implemented nutrition education classes, and 32.7% of responses used creative activity times for nutrition and dietary life education. Various topics were taught such as strategies to improve dietary habits, choice of healthy foods and nutrition labeling, nutrition information, food safety, and environmental problems, etc. Current performance ratios of nutrition teacher's duties and tasks were as follows: nutrition operation 31.3%, foodservice hygiene and safety 28.0%, nutrition management 22.7%, nutrition and dietary life education and counselling 11.6%, and professional development 6.4%. Opinions about ideal job performance of nutrition teachers were investigated to determine needs for job redesign. Two in nutrition management duty tasks and four foodservice management duties duty tasks were reduced. On the other hand, another two nutrition management duty tasks and three nutrition and dietary life education and counselling tasks were increased compared to current job performance.

한국항공운항학회 조직 내 안전문화가 항공정비사의 안전행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Organization's Safety Culture on Aircraft Maintenance Technician's Safety Behavior)

  • Domestic and foreign aviation industries showed steep growth along with rapid increase in aviation demand, but the industries got directly hit by COVID-19. Now, with the recovery of daily life, aviation demand is gradually increasing, too. However, the risk of aviation accidents also increases proportionally to the increasing demand for aviation. Although it is a point that safety management needs to be actively conducted to prevent safety accidents resulted from the growth of aviation industries, research on safety culture and organizations is not sufficiently done in terms of the depth and scope of it despite the importance of the discussion. Studies in various areas have reported that an organization's safety culture forms the group's safety atmosphere and then results in the workers' safety behavior. Accordingly, this study examined the effects of safety culture in an organization on the safety behavior of its members who are aircraft maintenance technicians. The results of this research can be summed up as follows: first, it has been found that the roles of the person in charge grounded on clear goals and guidelines for the organization's safety policy influence the technicians' attitudes. Second, the important factor in the technicians' safety observance is that the attitude to follow safety rules when performing aviation maintenance raises their awareness of safety, for instance, following standard operation procedures or wearing personal equipment for protection. Third, their attitudes have positive effects on safety participation, and consequently, their intention to comply with safety rules is shown as an active action to achieve the ultimate goal of safety behavior.

A Survey on First Aid Knowledge and Education Needs of Jeollabukdo Police Officers

  • This study surveyed 171 police officers working in Jeollabuk-do to investigate their first aid knowledge and the need for education. The results showed that the correct answer rate for first aid knowledge among police officers was 75.61 points out of a possible 100 points. Additionally, 98.8% of respondents indicated a need for first aid training, expressing a preference for 2-hour sessions integrated with their work education. There was a statistically significant difference in the correct answer rate for first aid knowledge based on education level and experience in emergency situations, but no significant difference in the need for education was observed across respondents. The significance of this research lies in its provision of foundational data for first aid education among police officers, which can be instrumental in developing training programs and policies aimed at enhancing their first aid capabilities. Specifically, the study contributes to improving the effectiveness of police officers' responses in emergency situations by offering concrete suggestions on the content, method, and duration of first aid training. These findings underscore the necessity and importance of providing comprehensive and effective first aid training not only to police officers but to all first responders, emphasizing that such training is crucial for ensuring public safety.
