This study aims to investigate research trends on disaster safety Information based on the language network analysis methods. To accomplish it, we collected 312 Korean thesis and scholarly articles on disaster safety information published between 2008 and 2017 from RISS (Research Information Sharing Service) site. With the collected data, this study performed the statistical analysis based on bibliographic data. Also, this study performed the analysis of frequency and language network on keyword extracted from titles on the collected scholarly articles and thesis. This study found out that researches recently on Bigdata related to disaster safety information have been rapidly increased. Also, the needs of sharing and utilizing disaster safety information have increased. Also the various types of disaster safety information such as spatial data, real-time information, geographic information has been used for the disaster response.

In this paper, we present a first step for developing a method of verifying both safety and correctness of object-oriented design specification. As first, we analyze the discrepancies, which can occur between requirements specification and design specification, to make clear target faults. Then, we propose a new design verification method which aims at detecting faults in the design specification. The key idea of the proposed framework is that all elements to be verified can be extracted based on the requirements specification, safety standards, and design specification given for the target product These elements are expressed using three kinds of tables for verification, and thus, the verification steps can be greatly simplified. Here, we assume that component library, standards for safety and design specification obtained from the Booch's object-oriented design method are given. At the beginning, the designers construct a design table based on a design specification, and the verifiers construct a correctness table and a safety table from component library and standards for safety Then, by comparing the items on three tables, the verifiers verification a given design specification and detect faults in it. Finally, using an example of object-oriented design specification, we show that faults concerning safety or correctness can be detected by the new design verification method.

CNG which was released as a substitute of the previous CAPI (Cryptography API) library from Microsoft is constructed with individual modules based on the plug-in architecture, this means CNG is exceedingly helpful in the cost of development as well as the facility of extension. On the opposite side of these advantages, considerations on security issues are quite insufficient. Therefore, a research on security assurance is strongly required in the environment of distributing and utilizing the CNG library, hence, we analyze possible security vulnerabilities on the CNG library. Based on analyzed vulnerabilities, proof-of-concept tools are implemented and vulnerabilities are verified using them. Verified results are that contents of mail, account information of mail server, and authentication information of web-sites such as Amazon, E-bay, Google, and Facebook are exposed in Outlook program and Internet Explorer program using CNG library. We consider that the analyzed result in this paper can improve the security for various applications using CNG library.

In order to evaluate the vibrational characteristics of huge finite element models such as ships and offshore structures, it is essential to perform eigenvalue analysis and frequency response analysis. However, these analyzes necessitate excessive equipment and computation time, which require the development of a high-performance analysis program. In particular, a considerable computational analysis time is required when calculating the inverse matrix in a linear system of equations and analyzing the eigenvalue analysis. Therefore, it can be improved by applying the latest high-performance library. In this paper, the vibration analysis program that enables fast and accurate analysis was developed by applying 'PARDISO', a parallel linear system of equation calculation library, and 'ARPACK', a high-performance eigenvalue analysis library. To verify the accuracy and efficiency of proposed method, we compare ABAQUS with proposed program using numerical examples of marine engineering.

Old-age public libraries constructed in the 1970s and 1980s are exposed to safety problems and user complaints due to facility aging. For this reasons, demands and in-depth discussions for the remodeling of old public libraries are on the rise. The Korean Committee on Library and Information Policy has set this issue as a major initiative, and local governments are also interested in establishing an action plan. The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility for remodeling of 8 obsolete public libraries in Busan metropolitan city. In details, this study analyzes the libraries that need to be remodeled with the reasonable grounds, and suggests in what order and manner the remodeling should proceed. The data were collected from literature review, on site field survey, and questionnaire survey targeting librarians and library users. The final conclusions were verified through working-level meetings and experts' advise.

The author explored the survival and prosperity strategies for Korean public libraries in the age of information technology. She reviewed that public libraries can perform these strategies or not. On the basis of the review, she identified 5 problems of public libraries : shortage of libraries and collections, staff inefficiency, inadequate services, inefficient design of library facilities. And then she proposed solutions to improve the present state of public libraries in Korea ; campaigning for constructing libraries, increasing the materials budget, turning nonprofessional work to professional work of staff, and constructing libraries for safety and preservation.

The main goal of construction projects from the past has been enhancing efficiency by reducing cost and time. Compared to this, it is true that for a long time not much attention was paid to safety management. For this reason, safety management is much behind cost and time management but nevertheless, not much improvement has been made. The current safety management is only focused on managing after an occurrence based on knowledge like safety standards and rules. Even though safety accident is reducing in domestic construction projects, the extent of a accident is getting greater because construction projects are getting more complex and sophisticated. Moreover, the actual loss due to accident is increasing and the severeness of a hazard is getting worse. Therefore, to improve the current conditions of safety management, we propose a more effective safety management program. This program is a safety managing method using virtual reality. Property, entity, safety library is applied and finally, aims to continuously manage and prevent rather than deal with an accident/disaster after it happens.

The purpose of this study was to examine the demand of parents and teachers for a children's library and analyze the need in consideration of their age and children's library-using frequency. The subjects in this study were 1,500 parents and teachers in the region of Gwangju, on whom a survey was implemented to find out the necessity of a children's library, what should be considered in terms of design and program development and what forms of materials should be provided. As a result of checking their needs for the functions of a library, the parents and teachers investigated attached importance to culture, welfare and hands-on culture/art programs as what a library should focus on. Second, as for design, they gave top priority to comfortableness(sanitary facilities, ventilation, humidity and temperature) and safety(sofas, cushions and carpets for children). Third, as to program preference, both of the parents and teachers considered activity, performance and educational programs necessary among multiple kinds of ongoing programs. Specifically, performance programs ranked first among the parents and third among the teachers. Activity programs ranked first among the teachers and third among the parents. Fourth, concerning the importance of materials possessed by a library, they placed the most emphasis on the kind of materials that could foster creativity and instill the right personality.

Objectives: There is a requirement to select target materials for mutagenicity(Genotoxicity) testing, so we determined to set the test priorities of them by searching the related database. Methods and Results: We searched a number of databases to find information on mutagenicity tests with chemicals under the Occupational Safety and Health Act(OSH Act), such as KOSHANET, National Toxicology Program(NTP), European Chemicals Agency(ECHA), US National Library of Medicine(NLM), and Genetic Toxicology Data Bank(GENE-TOX), as well as ChemIDplus webpage, and presented the information. Also we anticipated their hazards with ACToR sites to confirm the 58 mutagenicity(Genotoxicity) tests we will perform. Conclusions: We presented target materials for mutagenicity testing with specific GLP tests consisting of reverse mutation(Ames), chromosomal aberration and micronucleus test.

The purpose of this study is to derive evaluation elements on teen space in public libraries in Korea and to study current status and implications for teen space in public libraries. To this end, six items of space evaluation factors; Convenience, Accessibility, Safety, Diversity, Comfort and Emotionality - were derived based on the teen space guidelines by the Young Adult Library Service Association and previous studies. The research also conducted a case study on teen spaces of five public libraries in Seoul. As a result, teen space in libraries requires use guidance and convenience facilities, access to information resources, maintenance of user guidelines, various spaces for teens, pleasant library environment and learning motivation promotion, and provision space to support all necessary resources of teens.
