Study on the Design of Line-Start Synchronous Reluctance Motor Replacing Induction Motor (유도전동기 대체 라인기동식 동기형 릴럭턴스 전동기 회전자의 설계 연구)

  • In this paper, LS-SynRM (Line Start-Synchronous Reluctance Motor) has been attracting attention in replace of induction motor which hardly provides high efficiency. Compared to induction motor, LS-SynRM has better efficiency per unit area. This study demonstrated the electromagnetic design methods of LS-SynRM while maintaining the frame of existing IE3 induction motor for blower. We documented the design procedures for generating high saliency which is the most essential and mechanical stress analysis is also treated. In conclusion, we proved the validity of our design by manufacturing and testing our LS-SynRM models.

  • The paper is proposed maximum torque control of SynRM drive using adaptive learning mechanism-fuzzy neural network(ALM-FNN) controller and artificial neural network(ANN). The control method is applicable over the entire speed range and considered the limits of the inverter's current and voltage rated value. For each control mode, a condition that determines the optimal d-axis current $^{i}d$ for maximum torque operation is derived. The proposed control algorithm is applied to SynRM drive system controlled ALM-FNN and ANN controller, the operating characteristics controlled by maximum torque control are examined in detail. Also, this paper is proposed the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of the ALM-FNN and ANN controller.

  • This paper presents characteristics of SynRM(Synchronous Reluctance Motor) that is compared with a high speed induction motor. SynRM is much suitable for high speed electric machines because of structural robustness. There are many kinds of SynRM according to the shape of rotors. Particularly, axially laminated anisotropic (ALA) rotor is suitable for high speed instruments. Characteristics of SynRM with ALA rotor is obtained from a governing voltage and torque equation mainly composed of d-axis and q-axis inductance that will be identified with finite element method.

  • This paper deals with the characteristics analysis of Synchronous Reluctance (SynRM) with anisotropy rotor using a coupled FEM & Preisach model. The focus of this paper is the design relative to the output power on the basis of rotor materials of a SynRM. The coupled Finite Elements Analysis (FEA) & Preisach model have been used to evaluate nonlinear solutions. Comparisons are given with characteristics of normal synchronous reluctance motor and those of anisotropy rotor SynRM (ANISO-SynRM), respectively.

  • RFC 4271 에 규정되어 있는 BGP 는 대규모네트워크 망에서 효과적인 라우팅 정보전달을 위해 사용되어지는 프로토콜이다. 이러한 BGP 는 TCP Port 179 번을 사용함에 따라 TCP/IP 가 가지고 있는 보안위협에 노출되어 있다. BGP 보안 위협은 AS-PATH 공격, IP Hijacking 공격, BGP Neighbor 공격으로 라우터 자체의 보안설정으로 대부분 방어가 가능하나 BGP SYN Attack 에 대해서는 취약하다. BGP SYN Attack 은 호스트나 서버가 아닌 BGP 를 사용하는 라우터를 직접 공격하여 라우터의 TCP 나 BGP 관련 리소스를 고갈시켜 정상적인 기존 BGP 세션을 단절시키거나 새로운 BGP 세션 연결을 방해하여 결국 BGP 라우팅 정보를 교란하여 네트워크를 마비시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 BGP SYN Attack 에 차단하기 위하여 이웃라우터간 안정적인 BGP 연결을 위해 설정한 BGP Neighbor Password 를 Key 로 활용한 개선된 BGP TCP 구조를 제안한다.

Nonlinear Backstepping Control of SynRM Drive Systems Using Reformed Recurrent Hermite Polynomial Neural Networks with Adaptive Law and Error Estimated Law

  • The synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) servo-drive system has highly nonlinear uncertainties owing to a convex construction effect. It is difficult for the linear control method to achieve good performance for the SynRM drive system. The nonlinear backstepping control system using upper bound with switching function is proposed to inhibit uncertainty action for controlling the SynRM drive system. However, this method uses a large upper bound with a switching function, which results in a large chattering. In order to reduce this chattering, a nonlinear backstepping control system using an adaptive law is proposed to estimate the lumped uncertainty. Since this method uses an adaptive law, it cannot achiever satisfactory performance. Therefore, a nonlinear backstepping control system using a reformed recurrent Hermite polynomial neural network with an adaptive law and an error estimated law is proposed to estimate the lumped uncertainty and to compensate the estimated error in order to enhance the robustness of the SynRM drive system. Further, the reformed recurrent Hermite polynomial neural network with two learning rates is derived according to an increment type Lyapunov function to speed-up the parameter convergence. Finally, some experimental results and a comparative analysis are presented to verify that the proposed control system has better control performance for controlling SynRM drive systems.

  • Studies based on food analysis or food databases use the national standard food database. Although Internet information services are increasing gradually, users are only able to get definitive and profitable information using standard food terms. Until now, it has been uncommon to find food retrieval services that include users' regional or historical characteristics. Thus, this study introduces a prototype for Food and Dish Synonym Retrieval (NutriSyn) that includes synonyms and related words. The environments which NutriSyn was implemented were Linux for the server operating system, the Microsoft Windows series for the users' operating system and Apache for a web server. The development languages used are PHP, JavaScript and HTLM with a MySQL database. Users can access NutriSyn using Internet browsers. The main menu items are (1) Food Synonym DB, (2) Dish Synonym DB, (3) Food Information DB, (4) Dish Information DB, and (5) Food and Menu Synonym Retrieval. This system is expected to be a useful tool for food experts and interdisciplinary research.

mPW1PW91 Conformational Study of Di-t-butyl-dinitro-tetramethoxysulfonylcalix[4]arene

  • The structures of the conformers for 1,3-di-t-butyl-2,4-dinitro-tetramethoxysulfonylcalix[4]arene (1) and 1,2-di-t-butyl-3,4-dinitro-tetramethoxysulfonylcalix[4]arene (2) were optimized using DFT BLYP and mPW1PW91/6-31G(d,p) (hybrid HF-DF) calculation methods. We have analyzed the total electronic and Gibbs free energies and the differences between the various conformations (cone, partial-cone (PC), 1,2-alternate, and 1,3-alternate) of 1 and 2. For both compounds, the 1,3-alternate (1,3-A) conformers were calculated to be the most stable, which correlate very well with the experimental results. The orderings of the relative stability of 1 and 2 that resulted from the mPW1PW91/6-31G(d,p) calculations are the following: 1: 1,3-A (syn) > PC (syn) > PC (anti) > 1,2-A (anti) > CONE (syn); 2: 1,3-A (anti) > PC (anti) > PC (syn) > 1,2-A (anti) > 1,2-A (syn) > CONE (syn). The BLYP/6-31G(d) calculated IR spectra of the most stable 1,3-A conformers of 1 and 2 are compared.

  • This paper proposed an adaptive fuzzy controller for controlling speed and positions of a container crane. The motor used in container crane is installed as SynRM with variable-speed drive having the robustness on the problems of energy and environment. The conventional PI controller is not able to accurately track the position, speed and sway angle of trolley due to the factors of environment and the parameter variety. In the paper, we analyzed the performance of SynRM derive applied to the container crane by using an adaptive fuzzy control of SynRM in order to solve those problems. This paper analyzed the characteristics of position and speed response and compared the performance of PI controller with an adapative Fuzzy controller, proving the validity.
