The modern public facility has been changed by complexity and diversity. It pursues public facility applying safety and amenity based on universal design. Among public facilities, the importance of street furniture is emphasized currently due to offer for pedestrians rest ares in a city street. However, it is very difficult for pedestrians to use street furniture conveniently and safely, because on the planning street furniture has not been considered thoroughly in aspects of universal design. The Purpose of this study is to evaluate street furniture in aspects of universal design. Also, this study suggests the Improvement plan for considering users of street furnitures. The method of this study is literature review and questionnaire survey. Firstly, we collected the data related to public facility and universal design, analyzed the data. Secondly, the items of questionnaire survey deduced based on analyzed data of literature review. Thirdly, we analyzed the result of questionnaire survey and evaluate the street furniture. Lastly, We discussed the solution to improve the present street furniture for a rest through the results and overseas cases. It has contributed in the improvement plan of street furniture thanks to deal with the evaluation of street furniture for pedestrians in aspects of universal design.

The purpose of this study was to small house plans according to the preferred type of emotional design. The human emotions was a major factor for small houses plan's needs. In this study is direction of the basic plan for the small houses of the spatial planning and services and the needs of community facilities. Preferred types of emotional design was identify the propensity of consume, adjectives, colors and forms. For this study, survey methods were used for data collection. The effective numbers of survey questionnaire was 183, and the survey analysis has been made by using of SPSS win 18.0. The major findings were as followings: 1) Preferred types of emotional design were "Eco-Classic oriented group", "Unspecified commonness group", "Creative design oriented group" classified. 2) "Eco-Classic oriented group" wanted Eco-system and the community space. "Unspecified commonness group" wanted Simple and universal style. "Creative design oriented group" wanted flexible styles and various items. Therefore, depending on need group is the main target-specific as well as flat planning and interior style facilities and the provision of services to be competitive in the small house could indicate. These results can provide improvement guidelines for the small house plans.

Transport survey has been conducted annually by the Korea National Statistical Office (KNSO) in order to acquire information on business activities of the transport industry such as the number of employees, remuneration, revenue, expenses and tangible fixed assets, etc. The results of this survey are widely used for formulating economic policies of government and management plans of business and also for research activities. In this thesis, we provide the sampling design of the transport survey, and describe the management of sample in KNSO.

The statistical survey and analysis is much restricted to time, space and material. The statistical survey and analysis could hardly resume. The statistical survey and analysis is very important to create various and accurate information. The statistical survey and analysis which is not a expert knowledge have many problems in productivity of information, reliability and etc. In this paper, we study the design and Implementation of web-based statistical survey and analysis consulting system which a client meet easily a statistical expert on the web.

The fishery household economy survey is a sample survey which produce estimates on the fishery household economy and fishery management in Korea. We propose a sample design for this survey. This design is developed based on results of 1990 fishery census and Shi-Do is assumed to be subpopulation for Shi-Do estimates. Samples are selected by stratified two-stage cluster sampling in Shi-Do and income function is found for stratification. Fishery household income is estimated by a linear estimator.

This paper describes an implementation of project-based learning in routing design course. The total students who enrolled in the class were 48 and were divided into groups of 3~4 students. At the beginning of the course, a survey was conducted to check the student's level of back ground knowledge acquired from the prerequisite courses. At the end of the curse, we also conducted a survey to evaluate the effect of project-based learning. According to the end of course survey, the course was helpful to identify the problems to solve by themselves, to develop the problem solving ability, and to understand the global picture of the subject by integrating knowledge of each chapter into a project. The survey also shows that students recognized the importance of the teamwork skill throughout the project activity.

This survey paper presents and overview on eigenstructure assignment (EA) control design methodologies. EA is an excellent control design method which may be used to assign the entire eigenstructure(eigenvalues, and right or left eigenvectors) of a closed-loop linear system via a full state or an output feedback control law. In general, EA is well-sutied for incorporating classical specifications on damping, settling time, and mode or disturbance decoupling into a modern multivariable control framework. The purpose of this paper is to provide an extensive survey on EA control design methods that might serve as an introduction to a study on EA. The fundamental concepts and formulations for understanding EA problems are extensively described. The recently reported results on EA are also presented.

It was the purpose of this study that propose architectural design process through analysis of concepts considering regional characteristics. The procedure of this study was as follows : First, classifying design process through investigating paper-survey and case studies. And We would investigate representation process of design concepts applied to design competitions entries. Finally, we would investigate design process applied to buildings in various districts. In the results, we could find that domestic architects were applying to site plan, floor plan, elevation plan, section plan and mass plan-led design process to express design concepts. And according to survey on buildings in various districts, we could verify that architects were applying various design process to express design concepts according to site characteristics. These results could help architects to design appropriately, according to site characteristics.

The purpose of this study was to identify the searching method and application of intoner design trend of interior designer. The questionnaire survey were used. The subjects of questionnaire survey were 50 interior designers in 6 interior design firms. Frequency, percentage, and cross-tab were used for data analysis. The major results were as follows. 1) Interior designers thought that consumers visiting at apartment model house were concerned about interior design trend and aware of interior design reflected trend. So interior designer gave expression to interior design trend. And they needed information about interior design trend and consumer's interior design preference. 2) Interior designers found interior design trend or consumer's preference from some exhibition or fair, journal, and internet materials. 3) Interior design trend was mainly expressed in living room design. And Interior designers utilized finishing material and color in expression of interior design trend.

The aim of this study is to find out the optimal goods for the marketing research through analysing the factor effecting the marketing survey by using the experimental design method. The decisive effecting factors in relation with the marketing survey were investigated as follows; 1. A row effect (Ai; i = 1, 2, ... n) is the design sorts of woman-clothes bias. 2. A column effect (Bi; i = 1, 2, ... n) is the woman-consumer bias. In this paper the experimental design, execution and statistical analys is were conducted to find out the optimal goods for marketing research.
