STEP을 이용한 특징형상 정보의 호환

  • STEP(Standard for the Exchange of Product Data)은 제품데이타의 표현 및 교환에 관한 국제표준으로서, 특정 시스템에 관계없이 제품생산에 관계된 정보를 표현할 수 있는 중립표준을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. STEP은 화일교환을 위한 중립표준을 제공할 뿐만 아니라 , 제품데이타베이스를 수현하는 기반을 제공한다. 따라서, 향후 STEP은 좁은 의미 로서는 시스템간의 데이타 교환의 표준으로,넓은 의미로서는 컴퓨터통합 생사시스템(CIMS) 의 구현시 정보모델의 근간으로 사용될 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 STEP을 이용하여 CAD의 형상정보와 특징형상정보를 변환하는 변환기를 개발하였다. 변환기의 개발은 크게 3단계로 나뉘어 지는데, 1) STEP에서 제정한 데이타 정의어인 EXPRESS를 이용하여 각 CAD 시스템에서 사용하는 포멧을 따라 형상정보및 특징형상정보의 스키마를 모델링하는 단계 2) 실제데이터를 이용하여 모델링된 스키마에 맴핑(mapping0하는 단계, 3) 피니컬 화일로 변환하는 단계를 거치게 된다. 이글에서는 STEP을 이용한 특징형상정보의 호환을 위한 변환기의 구조를 제안하고, EXPRESS를 이용한 스키마 모델링 및 특징형상 정보의 변환사례를 소개한다.

  • STEP-NC는 차세대 수치제어 장치의 인터페이스 표준 제정 및 새 표준을 기반으로 한 지능적인 고성능 수치제어 장치의 개발을 목표로 한다. 차세대 수치제어 장치의 인터페이스 표준제정은 ISO TC184/SC1/WG7에서 ISO 14649라는 이름으로 수행하고 있으며, 여기에는 밀링, 선반, EDM, 그라인딩 등 수치제어를 사용할 수 있는 전 공정을 대상으로 한 수치제어 장치의 인터페이스 표준을 제정 중에 있고 현재는 밀링 공정을 위한 데이터 모델이 CD 또는 DIS 버전으로 개발되어 있다.

  • NC(Numerical Control)는 1949년 미 공군이 Parson (Fig. 1 (a))이라는 사람에게 프로펠러 (Propeller)용 블레이드(Blade)의 윤곽을 검사하기 위한 판 게이지(Gauge)(Fig. 1 b)) 개발을 의뢰한 것이 계기가 되어 발명되었다. 이후, 신시나티 미라크론(Cincinati Miracle)이라는 공작기계 업체가 NC 사업에 참여하게 되고, 1952년 최초로 MIT(Massachusetts Institute of Technology)의 서보기구연구소(Servo-mechanism laboratory)에 의해 NC 공작기계가 탄생(Fig. 1 (c)) 되었다.(중략)

  • 분산 제조 시스템간의 협업을 가능케 하는 e-Manufacturing paradigm 의 성공을 위해서는 CAD-CAM-CNC chain 의 제조 분야뿐만 아니라 SCM, ERP, CRM 등의 상위 시스템과의 제품 및 가공 정보의 원활한 흐름이 필수적이다. STEP 과 STEP-NC 는 이를 해결할 표준으로 자리매김 할 것으로 기대되고 있다. 본 논문은 STEP-NC 의 국내 promotion 차원에서 참고문헌 [1]의 밀링용 파트프로그래밍 소개에 이어: 1) 선반용 데이터 모델, 2) 선반용 파트 프로그램의 작성 방법, 3) XML 을 이용한 파트 프로그램의 표현 방법들을 소개하고, 4) STEP-NC 기반의 생산 환경 구축을 위한 방안을 기술하였다.

  • STEP-NC is the next generation CNC controller taking STEP-based data model as the interface scheme (or language) between CAM and CNC, and carrying out various intelligent functions. At the moment, efforts are being made worldwide to establish international standard for the new interface scheme formalized as ISO14649. As the new language is being established, increasing attention is being paid to the development of the new CNC. Korea STEP-NC is an integrated STEP-NC system taking ISO 14649 as an input, and carrying out various intelligent functions. It is composed of 5 modules: 1) Shop Floor Programming System (PosSFP), 2) Tool Path Generator (PosTPG), 3) Tool Path Viewer (PosTPV), 4) Man Machine Interface (PosMMI), and 5) CNC Kernel (PosCNC). Distinguished from other prototypes (of Europe and USA), the Korea STEP-NC is top-down designed, and bottom-up implemented comprehensively incorporating all the crucial components for realizing the full benefit of STEP-NC paradigm, without using any existing commercial CAD/CAM systems and CNC kernels. The Korea STEP-NC prototype was successfully demonstrated and evaluated in the ISO conventions Together with prototypes of Europe and USA, Korea STEP-NC will be used as a reference system fur the Triangular Conformance Test to be jointly carried out by ISO TC184 SC1, SC4, and IMS Project.

  • The technological advances such as communication, sensor, and artificial intelligence lead smart factory construction. Smart factory aims at efficient process control by utilizing data from the existing automation process and intelligence technology such as machine learning. As a result of constructing smart factory, productivity increases, but costs increase. Therefore, small companies try to make a step-by-step transition from existing process to smart factory. In this paper, we have proposed a remote control system that support data collection, monitoring, and control for manufacturing equipment to support the construction of CNC cutting machine based small-scale smart factory. We have proposed the structure and design of the proposed system and efficient sensing data transmission scheme. To check the feasibility, the system was implemented for CNC cutting machine and functionality verification was performed. For performance evaluation, the web page access time was measured. The results means that the implemented system is available level.

A Study on Extraction of Metadata Elements Based on ISAD Rules for Official Document (ISAD에 기반한 공문서 메타데이터 요소 설정에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to collect and manage in the step of creation metadata information to effectively manage and use official document which is a typical and normal records. To do it. data elements are extracted through analyzing structure of official document format. And we also select metadata elements reflecting creation background, publisher's intention, characteristic of official documents through evaluating and comparing extracted elements with data elements defined in ISAD rules. It would be draft data in constructing standardized metadata structure for records in Korea.

Computation of the Shortest Distance of Container Yard Tractor for Multi-Cycle System (다중 사이클 시스템을 위한 실시간 위치 기반 컨테이너 야드 트랙터 최단거리 계산)

  • A container terminal productivity is maximized by a minimized time for processing containers. So, we have been elevated the container terminal productivity through an improvement of computing system, but there are a limitation because of problems for transportation management and method. A Y/T(Yard Tractor), which is a representative transportation, is able to do only one process, loading or unloading, at one time. So if the Y/T can do loading and unloading step by step at a same time, the processing time would be shortened. In this paper, we proposed an effective operating process of Y/T(Yard Tractor) Multi-Cycle System by applying RTLS(Real Time Location System) to Y/T(Yard Tractor) in order to improve the process of loading and unloading at the container terminal. For this, we described Multi-Cycle System. This system consists of a real time location of Y/T based on RTLS, an indicating of Y/T location in real time with GIS technology, and an algorithm(Dijkstra's algorithm) of the shortest distance. And we used the system in container terminal process and could improve the container terminal productivity. As the result of simulation for the proposed system in this paper, we could verify that 9% of driving distance was reduced compared with the existing rate and 19% of driving distance was reduced compared with the maximum rate. Consequently, we could find out the container performance is maximized.

A Modeling Methodology for Analysis of Dynamic Systems Using Heuristic Search and Design of Interface for CRM (휴리스틱 탐색을 통한 동적시스템 분석을 위한 모델링 방법과 CRM 위한 인터페이스 설계)

  • Most real world systems contain a series of dynamic and complex phenomena. One of common methods to understand these systems is to build a model and analyze the behavior of them. A two-step methodology comprised of clustering and then model creation is proposed for the analysis on time series data. An interface is designed for CRM(Customer Relationship Management) that provides user with 1:1 customized information using system modeling. It was confirmed from experiments that better clustering would be derived from model based approach than similarity based one. Clustering is followed by model creation over the clustered groups, by which future direction of time series data movement could be predicted. The effectiveness of the method was validated by checking how similarly predicted values from the models move together with real data such as stock prices.
