  • The SRG(Switched Reluctance Generator) consists of simple stator and rotor. The advantage of SRG is very endurance and low cost. Because of SRG have no magnetic, So we should obtain current of magnetic to stator. But in this step SRG have disadvantage. Disadvantage of SRG is more torque ripple, vibration and noise than other machines. This paper shows the simulation of SRG with 3phases, 6 stator poles and 4 rotor poles. We intpret the characteristics of SRG's constant voltage and torque ripple according to change switching angle.

  • Mouse T cells overexpressing the SRG3 protein displayed morphological changes; the cells were enlarged and their shapes were irregular compared to the normal parental cells. In addition, growth rate of the cells was dramatically reduced and their DNA contents were increased. The increased DNA contents were due to an increase in number of chromosomes in these cells. We have observed similar results in S. cerevisiae cells overex-pressing the yeast SWI3 protein. Yeast cells overexpressing SWI3 protein These results suggest that the SRG3/SWI3 protein plays an important role in cell growth and cell cycle progression.

  • SWIRM domain, a core domain of SRG3 is well conserved in SW13, RSC8, and MOIRA family proteins. To understand structural basis for cellular functions of the SWIRM domain, we have initiated biochemical and structural studies on SWIRM domain and mutants using gelfiltration chromatography, circular dichroism and NMR spectroscopy. The structural properties of the mutant SWIRM domains (K34A and M75A) have been characterized, showing that the structures of both wild-type and mutant proteins are a-helical conformation. The data conclude that mutations at interaction sites of its binding partner protein do not affect its secondary and tertiary structure.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the behavior and the strength of SRG (Steel Reinforced Grout) externally strengthened Reinforced Concrete (RC) beams by using a nonlinear numerical analysis. The numerical simulation was carried out by using a three-dimensional (3D) finite element model. An interface element with a suitable damage model was used to model the connection between concrete surface and SRG reinforcing layer. The reliability of the finite element 3D-model was checked using experimental data obtained on a set of three RC beams. The parameters taken into consideration were the external configuration, with or without U-end anchorages, the concrete strength, the amount of internal tensile steel reinforcement. Conclusions were made concerning the strength and the ductility of the strengthened beams by varying the parameters and on the effectiveness of the SRG reinforcing system applied with two types of external strengthening configuration.

  • In automated search of a design database to support mechanical design, it is necessaryto recognize a shape pattern which represents a design object. This paper introduces the concept of a surface relation graph (SRG) for recognizing shape patterns from a 3D boundary representation scheme of a solid model(a B-rep model). In SRG, the nodes and arcs correspond to the faces and edges shared by two adjacent faces, respectively. An attribute assigned to an arc is given by an integer which discriminates the relationship between two adjacent faces. The + sign of the integer represents the geometric convexity of the solid, and the -sign the concivity at the shared edge. The input shape is recognized by comparison with the predefined features which are subgraphs of the SRG. A hierarchyof the database for upporting the design is presented. A search for the design database is also discussed. The usefulness of this method is illustrated by some application results.

  • Medical image segmentation, which is essential in diagnosis and 3D reconstruction, is performed manually in most applications to produce accurate results. However, manual segmentation requires lots of time to segment, and is difficult even for the same operator to reproduce the same segmentation results for a region. To overcome such limitations, we propose a convenient and accurate semiautomatic segmentation method. The proposed method initially receives several control points of an ROI(Region of Interest Region) from a human operator, and then finds a boundary composed of a minimum cost path connecting the control points, which is the Live-wire method. Next, the boundary is modified to overcome limitations of the Live-wire, such as a zig-zag boundary and erosion of an ROI. Finally, the region is segmented by SRG(Seeded Region Growing), where the modified boundary acts as a blockage to prevent leakage. The proposed User-steered balloon method can overcome not only the limitations of the Live-wire but also the leakage problem of the SRG. Segmentation results of thigh muscles of the Visible Human are presented.

  • TDS (Thermal Lkso~ption Spectroscopy)system, for diagnosis of CRT manufacturing process, was designed and constructed. Outgassings and themla1 desorptions from the part or materials of CRT can be measured and analysed with this system at various temperatures. The system is consisted of 3 pirrts. vacuum chamher and pumping system with variable conductance, sample heating stages & their controller, and outgassing measurement devices, like as ion gauge or quadrupole mass spectrometer. The ultimate pressure of the system was under $1\times10^{-7}$ Pa. With the variable conductance system, the effective pumping speed of the chamber could he controlled from sub 11s to 100 11s. The effective pumping speed values were determined by dynamic flow measurement principle. The temperatures and ramp rate of sample were controlled by tungsten heater and PID controller up to $600^{\circ}C$ within t $\pm 1^{\circ}C$$difference to setting value. Ion gauge & QMS were calibrated for quantitative measurements. Some examples of TDS measurement data ;ind application on the CRT process analysis were shown.

  • This paper describes a control method of turn-on/off angles to improve the efficiency of the switched reluctance generator(SRG) with a power closed-loop control system, and the inner-loop of the system is current hysteresis control. The SRG control system is constituted by the PI power controller and the two-level current hysteresis controller. By measuring and analyzing the system losses of different reference powers, speeds and turn-on/off angles, selection strategy of optimal turn-on/off angles is discussed. The proposed method is simple, reliable, and easy to achieve.
