The glyoxal has been used as formaldehyde free DP(durable press) agents in wrinkle free treatment for cotton fabrics. However, the yellowing problem is a disadvantage of DP finishing process for cotton fabrics with glyoxal. In order to improve the whiteness, it was investigated that the effect of coreactant and treatment method with various whitening additives such as STB(sodium tetraborate, $Na_2B_4O_7$), SPB(sodium perborate, $NaBO_3$), SC(sodium chlorite, $NaClO_2$) and SPC(sodium percarbonate, $Na_2CO_3{\cdot}1.5$$H_2O_2$). The increasing the concentration of whitening additives(STB, SPB, SC and SPC), the whiteness and the strength retention ratio of cotton fabrics were increased but the wrinkle recovery angles were decreased in one bath method. It was not suitable to improve whiteness because the whiteness value is about 60. In the case of SC used two bath method, the whiteness is near 70, which is similar to untreated fabrics, without decreasing of WRA and strength.

Porous pavement (PP) has attracted attention as a new alternative measure against road traffic noise. PP refers to pavement that reduces the fines in the asphalt mixture to form voids. These voids can reduce traffic accidents and friction noise. For active application, verification of the noise reduction effect is required. In this study, the noise reduction of single-layer PP(SLPP) and double layer PP(DLPP) was analyzed. First, the Sejong section was selected, and traffic noise was measured using the SPB method on the roadside. The traffic volume, speed, and mixing ratio of large vehicles were measured. As a result, the DLPP was evaluated to be 7.95 dB(A) smaller on average and 7.57dB(A) smaller at the 95% reliability level than the SLPP. The traffic volume was more influential than the speed and the mixing rate of large vehicles. As the traffic volume increased, the noise increased, but the difference in noise between the two pavements decreased gradually. The results showed that the most effective way to reduce road traffic noise is to change the road pavement rather than reduce traffic speed, restrict traffic for heavy vehicles, or reduce traffic volume.

The amino acid composition, protein quality, and protein functionality of protein solution extracted from three edible insect species were investigated. We used 0.02% ascorbic acid and 0.58 M saline solution to extract water-soluble and salt-soluble proteins from the three insect species. Extracted protein solutions of Tenebrio molitor (TM), Allomyrina dichotoma (AD), and Protaetia brevitarsis seulensis (PB) were divided into six groups, according to species and solubility: WTM, WAD, WPB (water-soluble), and STM, SAD, and SPB (salt-soluble). Defatted TM had the highest protein content, but its protein solubility was the lowest, for both water and saline solutions. Amino acid composition differed by edible insect species and buffer type; SPB had the highest protein quality, followed by WPB. PB had a higher pH than the other species. Color values also differed among species. SPB had abundant high molecular weight proteins, compared with other treatments; and also had the highest foaming capacity, foam stability, and emulsifying capacity. In conclusion, PB is a good source of functional protein compared with the other studied species. Additionally, protein extraction using saline solution is promising as a useful method for improving edible insect protein functionality.

In this paper, the SMV 3D display method using liquid crystal shutter glass(LCSG) and SPB has been proposed. The proposed SMV display can solve the resolution degradation problem of conventional multiview displays that using based time-multiplexing method. Also, observers fatigue due to the mismatch between accommodation and vergence problem of glass-type 3D displays and conventional multiview displays, can be improved using SMV 3D display method.
A gas chromatographic method was developed for determination of the concentration of three major polyacetylene compounds in ginseng roots---panaxynol, panaxydol and panaxytriol. The column and the detector used were an SPB-1 fused silica capillary (0.2mm i.d.$\times$30m, Supelco) and a flame ionization detector (FID). The column oven temperature was kept at $250^{\circ}C$ isothermally The retention times of panaxynol, panaxydol and panaxytriol peaks were 4.2,5.1 and 6.9 min before TMS-derivatitration and 4.5,5.4 and 7.4 min after TMS-derivatization, respectively. The minimum determinable concentrations of panaxynol, panaxydol and panaxytriol before TMS-derivatiEation were at the 20, 50 and 100 ppm levels, while the concentrations of panaxydol and panaxytriol as well as panaxynol after TMS- derivatisation could be towered to the 5 ppm level. The panaxynol, panaxydol and panaxytriol contents in red ginseng were determined by use of this method after TMS-derivatization : the amounts obtained were 724, 721 and 71$\mu\textrm{g}$/g, respectively.

The new biotelemetry method and system that the installation and the treatment of equipment is convenient and the instantaneously detailed position of the fish attached a pinger is able to track comparatively easily had been developed, an practicality of it were verified in the water tank and the small sea port through the tracking of fish. The biotelemetry method had been gotten the three dimensional locations of fish to the receiving transducer by combining of the super short base line (SSBL) method to detect the direction of pinger and the pinger synchronizing method to measure the range from receiving transducer to pinger. The receiving system had been designed to realize the high precision or wide detection range by application of the basic design method for receiving system of biotelemetry and the hydrophone array configuration. From tracking test of carp in the water tank, the migration course and the velocity of carp was investigated and the observed migration course was compared with measurement. The measured migration course of carp coincided with the observation in the main and the position of carp was able to track three dimensionally. The velocity of carp measured by the moving average method was 11.2cm/s. From tracking test of yellowtail in the small sea port, the migration course and the velocity of yellowtail was investigated at natural condition. The position of yellowtail was able to track three dimensionally and the velocity of it measured by moving average method was 43.9cm/s.
This study was designed to establish an analytical method for the properties of leaf tobacco smoke. Lyophilized TPM from leaf tobacco smoke was extracted with MeOH, dried under reduced pressure, and trimethyl-silylated(TMS). Gas chromatography of the material using SPB-5 column showed 120 quantifiable peaks. Among those, 26 compounds including a hydrocarbons, Neophytadiene. and Levulinic acid could be identified through GC-MS. Smoke properties of 5 manufacturing grades and 2 oriental cultivars of domestic and imported leaf tobacco including AB3O-1 were analyzed. For flue-cured tobacco, content of the compounds in the smoke was generally higher in American leaf tobacco except for glycerol compounds. For burley tobacco, domestic leaves were found to have much higher amount of smoke compound than imported leaves. Among oriental tobacco, Izmir contained slightly higher amount of smoke compounds than Basma. Key words : GC - profile. TPM. TMS. Leaf tobacco.
Estimation of shield TBM tunnelling-induced volume loss is of great importance for ground settlement control. This study proposed a simple method for evaluation of volume loss during TBM tunnlling, which is able to take into account of shield machine configurations and main driving data in calculation. The method was applied to analyze the tunnelling cases with earth pressure balanced and slurry pressure balanced shiled TBM, and mostly, reasonable agreements with monitoring results were found. Additional discussions were made for some disagreements.
The determinabilities of several lignan compounds by capillary-GC (F1D) were studied. The lignan compounds used were deoxyschizandrin, gomisin N, schizandrin, wuweizisu C, gomisin A, angeloylgomisin H and tigloylgomisin H which were isolated from fruits of Schisandra chinensis BAILLON and identified with GC/MS(EI, 70eV), 1H-NMR(300MHz) and IR. The GC column used was SPB-1 fused silica capillary$(0.25mm\;ID{\times}30m,\;Supelco)$, and the column oven temperature was programmed from $200^{\circ}C$ to $300^{\circ}C$ at the rate of $4^{\circ}C$ per minute. The linearities between concentration and FID response were maintained in $2{\sim}500ppm$ of deoxyschizandrin and wuweizisu C and in $5{\sim}500ppm$ of gomisin N, schizandrin, gomisin A, angeloylgomisin H and tigloylgomisin H. The contents of lignan compounds in fruits of S. chinensis BAILLON produced at Moo-ju area were analyzed by the GC method: the values obtained of schizandrin and gomisin N were 6.5 and 5.9mg/g respectively, and those of gomisin A, wuweizisu C, angeloylgomisin H, deoxyschizandrin and tigloylgomisin H were $0.5{\sim}1.6mg/g$.
This study is to perform economic analysis of a PVT-GSHP (Photovoltaic Thermal-Ground Source Heat Pump) system compared to the conventional system which consists of a boiler and a chiller. This research has simulated, developed and analyzed four systems for application in a residential and an office building which was based on the hourly EPI (Energy Performance Index, $kWh/m^2yr$). Case 1 includes a boiler and a chiller to meet heating and cooling demands for a house. Case 2 is the same conventional system as Case 1 for a office. Case 3 is simple summation of Case 1 and 2. And Case 4 is utilizing a PVT-GSHP to meet the combined loads of the house and office. The economic evaluation study was based on IEA ECBCS Annex 54 subtasks C economic assessment methods. This study indicated that PVT-GSHP system can save a building's energy up to 53.9%. Also the SPB (Simple Payback) of the PVT-GSHP system with 0%, 50% initial incentive was 14.5, 6.7 year respectively.
