  • In this paper, we suggested a model that reflects the role played by the consumer's regulatory focus (promotion focus and prevention focus) as determinant factors of trust in the Web site. Also, we considered the moderating effects of consumers' purchasing experience toward online shopping. We conducted a two-month survey of 230 individuals using online shopping sites for hypotheses testing. The study results are summarized as follows. Firstly, promotion focused consumers showed higher trust to a web site compared to prevention focused consumers. Secondly, the moderating effect of purchasing experience between regulatory focus and consumer trust to a web site is statistically significant. The effect of a prevention focused consumers on consumer trust to a web site is stronger when purchasing experience toward online shopping is high compared to low. Based on these findings, this study presents practical and academic implications of the research.

  • Objective: The main purpose of this study was to investigate the direct effect of maternal parenting behavior and indirect effects through preschoolers'executive function on three types of social behavior, prosocial, aggressive and withdrawn behavior. Methods: A total of 299 mothers and their preschool-aged children were the subjects of this study. Mothers completed the questionnaire that included measures of their parenting behavior, preschoolers' executive function, and social behavior. Results: First, mothers' positive parenting behavior had a direct effect on preschoolers' prosocial behavior, and mothers' negative parenting behavior had direct effects on preschoolers' aggressive and withdrawn behavior. Second, mothers' positive parenting behavior had indirect effects on preschoolers' prosocial, aggressive and withdrawn behavior through preschoolers' executive function. In contrast, indirect paths from maternal negative parenting behavior to social behavior through preschoolers' execution function were not significant. Conclusion/Implications: These findings underscore the importance of executive function during early childhood and suggest the need for effective parenting programs to promote executive function.

  • The entrapment of intracranial air from the check valve system results in a tension pneumocephalus. It should be distinguished from simple pneumocephalus because they are intracranial space-occupying masses that can threaten life. Communicating hydrocephalus is a serious and frequent complication of post-traumatic head injury. Head injury is one of the most common causes in etiopathogenesis of communicating hydrocephalus. Here, we describe a case of a 65-year-old man who developed communicating hydrocephalus after a post-traumatic tension pneumocephalus. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first reported case of communicating hydrocephalus developed after a post-traumatic tension pneumocephalus. Although the exact pathogenic mechanisms underlying the cascade following trauma remain unclear, communicating hydrocephalus after a tension pneumocephalus could be considered a possible complication.

  • A new monoterpene, crocusatin M (1), was isolated from the flower buds of Buddleja officinalis, together with four known monoterpenes, (6R)-hydroxy-1,1,5-trimethylcyclohex-4-enone (2), (+)-dehydrovomifoliol (3), 7-epiloliolide (4), and crocusatin D (5). Their structures were determined by an extensive analysis of 1D, 2D NMR, HRESI-MS, and CD data as well as by comparison of their spectroscopic data with those of literatures. All isolates were evaluated for inhibitory activities on LPS-induced nitric oxide production in RAW 264.7 cells. Among them, compounds 2 and 3 showed moderate inhibitory effects with $IC_{50}$ values of 63.8 and 24.4 ${\mu}g/ml$, respectively.

  • Blades of wind energy plants are exposed to external shocks or internal cracks during operation. Furthermore, the blade surfaces can be contaminated by substances such as dust, blood of birds, salt or insects which can decrease the electricity generation efficiency significantly. For this reason, many blade cleaning companies started to appear and a variety of methods for cleaning were suggested. Despite these diverse methods, there has been no study to investigate how effectively to clean the substances in quantitative manner. In this paper, the cleaning efficiency of two rotor blade cleaning methods, brush and water-jet, is examined through experiments by changing operating parameters. Then, the optimal operating conditions for both methods are derived.

  • Cobalt-immobilized SBA-15 6a-c was synthesized from alkyne-attached SBA 5a-c by the reaction with $Co_2(CO)_8$ in toluene. Alkyne group was introduced into amino SBA-15 (4) by imine-linkage or substitution with propargyl bromide to afford iminoalkyne 5a and aminoalkyne 5b, respectively. Meanwhile, alkyne 5c was prepared in one-step by reacting triethoxysilyl hexyne with SBA-15. Dicobalt-complexes 6a-c were characterized by means of FT-IR, solid-state NMR and elemental analysis.

  • Transparent $TiO_2$ films in various thicknesses were prepared by sol-gel and MOCVD method, respectively, and their photocatalytic activities in decomposing gaseous 2-propanol were evaluated. The surfaces and grain structures of the prepared films were characterized by FESEM, XRD, and AFM. It was found that the photocatalytic activities of $TiO_2$ films were greatly dependent on the film thickness and surface roughness: The photocatalytic activity increases with the increase of film thickness, while it decreases with the increase of surface roughness. We have proposed that these phenomena originate from the transfer of photogenerated electron and hole pairs from the bulk to the surface of $TiO_2$ film. Several experimental evidences supporting this mechanism have also been provided.

  • In this study, we present an approach for reducing the information inaccuracy of existing star aggregation based on bypass links when there are multi-constraint QoS parameters in asymmetric networks. In our approach, bypass links with low similarity are selected. Links that are not chosen as bypass links are included in each group depending on the star's link characteristics. Moreover, each link group is aggregated differently according to the similarity of the links that make up the group. The selection of a bypass link by using link similarity reduces the existing time complexity of O($N^3$) to O(N) by virtue of the simplification of the selection process. In addition, the adaptive integration according to the characteristics of the links in each group is designed to reduce the information inaccuracy caused by static aggregation. Simulation results show that the proposed method maintains low information distortion; specifically, it is 3.8 times lower than that of the existing method, even when the number of nodes in a network increases.

  • The DRM+ is the newest digital radio standard for in-band environment. Although various state of the art technologies are adopted, the performance evaluation information is not sufficient. It is hard that many countries and stations considering the DRM+ as their digital radio standard check the performance of DRM+. To evaluate the performance of the DRM+ system, this paper depicts the laboratory trial results of DRM+ standard. In the laboratory trial, the rack type DRM+ test bed is built. To reflect the practical broadcasting environment, various tests are executed. Many countries and stations can efficiently use these test results, which are considering converting their analog radio broadcasting to digital broadcasting.
