This study investigates the effects of information type, direction of information, method of suggestion, tie strength, and interactions among these variables on the acceptance and diffusion of fashion product information in the mobile Facebook environment. Two subsequent studies were conducted to test the relationships among mobile SNS WOM factors. Two independent on-line surveys were implemented. Six hundred forty consumers aged between 20 and 39 were recruited for Study 1, and four hundred and eighty for Study 2. We manipulated the WOM delivery situation by information type (factual/evaluative), information directionality (positive/negative), tie-strength (strong/weak), and information presentation method (text/image/rink). Eight scenarios were developed and randomly assigned to the research participants. Frequency analysis, reliability, factor analysis, regression analysis, and ANOVA were implemented using SPSS 18.0. The Analysis of experiment data produced interesting results. Most WOM factors (including the information type, information presentation method, and tie strength) influence WOM acceptance; however, only the tie strength effected WOM activity. It was also proven that people are prone to accept information that is more realistic, objective, and negative, and they tend to accept information with visual factors, such as images and video clips rather than a simple text message. In this study, we offer a practical perspective to fashion industry and marketers who have an interest in SNS marketing. We have defined the distinct characteristics of mobile WOM that have been formed by a combination of former on/off-line WOM characteristics. To examine the moderating roles of two types of consumer innovativeness, fashion innovativeness and technology innovativeness were also measured and found to have significant moderating effects between mobile SNS WOM factors and their consequences. The paper concludes with a discussion on managerial implications and limitations.
Purpose: In the restaurant sector, it has been known that consumers' positive perception of brands influences their positive WOM intention, and information sources play an important role in increasing credibility by enhancing consumer awareness and developing differentiated brands. This study examines the effects of information sources (e.g., advertisement, WOM, SNS) on trust (cognitive and affective) and, WOM and eWOM intention in the restaurant context. In the model, cognitive and affective trust play mediating roles in the relationships between information sources (e.g., advertisement, WOM, SNS) WOM and eWOM intention. Research design, data, and methodology: Research models and hypotheses were developed according to the research direction. The survey questionnaire items were developed and used appropriately according to the contents of this paper based on prior studies. All constructs were measured with multiple items developed and validated in prior studies. A total of 502 responses were collected from an online survey. The research model was evaluated using SmartPLS 4.0. Frequency analysis was performed to understand the demographic characteristics of the survey respondents. The reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity were assessed using measurement model analysis. The proposed model was verified using the structural equation model. Results: Advertisement, WOM, and SNS information sources all had a positive effect on affective trust, whereas only WOM had a significant effect on cognitive trust. In addition, affective trust had a positive effect on cognitive trust and eWOM intention but did not affect WOM intention. Finally, cognitive trust was found to have a positive effect on both WOM intention and eWOM intention. Conclusions: This study redefines the concept of where restaurant service companies should focus when providing consumers with information about their products and services. As a result, the conceptual framework of positive word of mouth intention to increase new customer visits to the restaurant brand has been expanded. In addition, this study not only presents an information source management strategy for restaurant brands, but also presents practical implications for resource allocation guidelines for customer management in the restaurant sector.
This study deals with the digital policy proposal through the path modeling study on the effect of the strength of weak ties & emotional perception leading to the user's satisfaction, WOM between game users, and the verification on the effect of the emotional real name SNS on the social network game's diffusion. Researcher confirmed that the effect of the strength of weak ties & emotional perception led to the user's satisfaction, WOM of SNG. Even though weak tie, researchers estimate that the users emotionally interact with the real name relation effect of SNS. And effective factors for WOM are not a tie relationship or emotional interactivity of weak tie antecedently but user's satisfaction. As a result, though antecedent factors (weak tie & interactivity) had a positive effect as real name SNS, eventually powerful factor of making buzz was the SNG user's satisfaction. Thus researchers expect the practical policy proposition for government & corporation, which means SNG service providers more carefully manage the service satisfaction for WOM with SNG user's experience.
Purpose Along with the growth of smart phones and social networking service (SNS), social commerce continues to expand. Although online reviews have become an important source of the information that consumers use to make purchasing decisions, theoretical development and empirical testing in this area are still limited. Thus, there is a need to develop further understanding about the influence of electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM). Drawing upon the heuristic - systematic model (HSM) which is one of the dual-process theories, this study develops a research model that explains key factors influencing consumers' eWOM credibility. Furthermore, this study verifies that consumer's eWOM credibility is a key determinant of eWOM and purchase intentions. Design/methodology/approach The proposed model is empirically tested with 493 users who have experience in WeChat-based social commerce. The structural equation model (SEM) analysis is used to evaluate the research model and hypotheses. Findings The major findings are as follows. First, argument quality of eWOM (a systematic factor) has a positive effect on eWOM credibility. Second, source credibility and recommendation consistency of eWOM (heuristic factors) are positively associated with eWOM credibility. Finally, purchase and eWOM intentions greatly depend on eWOM credibility. These results confirm the effectiveness of HSM in explaining eWOM mechanisms in SNS-based social commerce. The details of findings and implications are presented.

SNS media is gaining its media share with the benefits of digital technology, such as the convenience of physical access and the entertainment and interactivity of contents, and are becoming a part of users' lives. As media contents consumers move from traditional media to SNS, marketing communication activities are rapidly adapting to leading SNS platforms such as Facebook. This study compares how users perceive four advertisement attributes in each SNS, focusing on Facebook, Instagram, Kakao Story, and Twitter, where the media content creation and consumption systems are relatively similar to each other. The impact on eWOM intention was identified. In addition, we discussed effective SNS operation.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impacts of two different kinds of interactivity, such as user-to-user and user-to-media interaction, on the relationship between SNS motivation and online word of mouth (WOM). An online survey was conducted with SNS users in Korea. Using the convenience-sampling method, 300 surveys were collected and 295 were used in the actual analysis after excluding data with careless responses or missing values. Hypotheses were tested using Structure Equation Model (SEM) and path analysis by using AMOS22. The results indicate that four different SNS motivations (self-expression, relational, fun, and browsing motivation) have a partially significant positive effect on perceived user-to-user and user-to-media interaction in SNS. Although both user-to-user interactivity and user-to-media interactivity were found to have a significant effect on online word of mouth, by comparing the standardized regression coefficients in these relationships, it was found that user-to-user interactivity has a greater effect on online WOM than user-to-media interactivity. These results show that the motivated SNS users want to express their desire to communicate with other users in contrast than their desire to learn media functions when motivated SNS users reveal their personalities, knowledge, and abilities. Theoretical and managerial implications are discussed.
This study notices that corporate crisis spreading throughout society through SNS, according to the growing influence of online e-WOM on the basis Mobile and SNS. The study will prove that users' psychological tendencies can be affected by online e-WOM and played a role factors of crisis management on Facebook fanpage. This study conducted Facebook Fanpages users' perception of authenticity, Fanpage identification theory and interactivity affected Online e-WOM before a crisis, and authenticity, Fanpage identification theory and interactivity affected negative Online e-WOM after a crisis. The result through the sample of 290 men and women in their 20s and 30s who use a Facebook fanpage. found that Facebook fanpage users' perception of authenticity, Fanpage identification theory and interactivity affect on Online e-WOM before a crisis. On the other hand, the results found that Facebook fanpage users' perception of authenticity, and interactivity affect on Online e-WOM in caused crisis. Based on the results from the present study, suggested authenticity, Fanpage identification theory and Interactivity function in the aspect of the relationship marketing or crisis communication.

Interest in and use of social media as a communication channel are consistently evolving; in addition therefore, corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities have been often conducted on online channels such as social media due to the advantages offered by the rapid spread of information. Consumers can be persuaded differently and their cognition can be influenced depending on who delivers what message. This study examines the influence of information source characteristics on eWOM acceptance of CSR messages and attitudes toward a company. This study compares cases: when a company sends their CSR message versus when an individual (i.e., consumer's acquaintance) sends the company's CSR message. A total of 320 respondents were presented with online stimuli and responded to the questionnaire to identify this phenomenon. Vegan fashion (which refers to products made from raw materials without animal cruelty) was used as stimuli in this study because it is a representative example of CSR activities. As a result, when consumers are exposed to CSR messages online, perceived expertise, trustworthiness and attractiveness of information source affect consumer's electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) acceptance and attitude toward a company. However, only trustworthiness influences eWOM acceptance in cases of a corporation information source. This study confirms the differences in eWOM acceptance and in attitudes to the company depending on to whom the messages were sent and with what content.

With the rapid development of mobile communication tools, customers are using SNS as a major information tool. SNS can provide information to a small number of customers as well as people around them, with information about a product or service that a small number of customers know through experience. With these characteristics, dessert cafes are being used as a major marketing tool for online websites and mobile phones using SNS. Therefore, in this study, theoretical considerations about e-WOM quality, perceived value, and visit intention were performed. The effect of e-WOM quality of dessert cafe on perceived value was analyzed and the effect of perceived value on visit intention was analyzed. Based on these results, I would like to suggest theoretical implications and practical implications for online marketing of dessert cafes. This study was conducted to survey the customers who have visited dessert cafe through oral communication within the last 6 months. The survey was conducted from September 4, 2018 to September 18, 2018, and was used for the analysis of 317 additional items. The research hypotheses between the e-WOM quality of the dessert cafe and the utilitarian value, hedonic value, and visiting intention were used the structural equation model(SEM). First, neutrality and interactivity have a significant effect on utilitarian value, but consensus and vividness have not significant effect. Second, It was found that the consensus, vividness, and neutrality had a significant effect on the hedonic value but interactivity was not found to have a significant effect. Third, hedonic value has a significant effect on visit intention, but utilitarian value has not significant effect. As a result, online e-WOM quality management is important.

With the recent paradigm shift towards 'sustainable management', corporate social responsibility is recognized as an important factor for the continuous and long-term growth of a company. This study examines how the perception of CRM performing companies and NGOs affect attitude toward donation. In addition, it was empirically investigates how the perception of donation affects the SNS word of mouth intention. In this study, a total of 180 usable responses were obtained for analysis, and SPSS and AMOS 26.0 were used to verify the validity and hypothesis of the study. As a result of the study, it was found that validity and reliability were secured. As a result of the hypothesis testing, all the hypotheses were supported, but the effect of the perception of the company implementing CRM on the donation attitude was very weakly supported. This study suggests that raising a positive awareness of CRM-performing companies and NGOs collaborating with them is an effective strategy to increase donation attitudes and SNS word-of-mouth intentions for CRM.
