The Study on Receptive Attitude of Advertising Message Forms and Information Sources According to SNS' Type and Use Intensity (SNS 유형과 이용강도에 따른 광고 메시지 형태 및 정보원별 수용태도에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigated what kind of message forms and information sources more effect according to SNS' type and use intensity. To this end, this study did experimental analysis using collected data by survey which manufactured message forms and situational contents of information sources. According to analysis results, the effect of message forms showed difference according to SNS' type and use intensity. Realistic message showed greater effect in interest-based SNS and high use intensity. Evaluative message showed greater effect in relation-based SNS regardless of use intensity. The effect of information sources showed difference according to SNS' type. Friend or college and knower showed greater effect in relation- based SNS, and company showed greater effect in interest-based SNS. In the case of use intensity, friend or college showed the greatest effect without difference. Such results can provide a practical contribution in planning SNS advertising strategy. Future Studies need to expand survey variously into SNS and subject.

The Impact of SNS Advertising Attribute on Advertising Likeability and Purchase Intention: A Comparison of Difference According to Use Motive and Use Intensity of SNS (SNS 광고속성이 광고호감도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향: SNS 이용동기 및 이용강도에 따른 차이 비교)

  • This study investigated experimentally how factors of SNS advertising attribute impact on advertising likeability and purchase intention according to use motive and use intensity of SNS. Firstly showing difference according to use motive of SNS, in user of motive to managing human relation, reliability of advertising contents has effect the largest and entertainment of advertising interest has effect also as important factor. In user of motive to sharing interest information, irritation of advertising on using SNS has effect the largest negatively and information of advertising's information offering capability has effect larger as positive factor. Next showing difference according to use intensity of SNS, in user of high intensity, reliability and information of advertising contents has effect larger than other factors. In user of low intensity, irritation of advertising has effect the largest negatively and other factors have effect very small. This results can provide a practical contribution that explains important factors in producing effective SNS advertising according to using behavior characteristics of SNS.

The Correlation between Social Network Service Strength and Social Participation of University students (대학생의 소셜네트워크서비스 강도와 사회참여의 상관관계)

  • Purpose : By confirming the relationship of the Social Network Service(SNS) strength and social participation, it tries to present the basic data of the social participation of the university students. Method : Students that department of Occupational Therapy in K University was done to target 136 people. SNS strength was measured to be stored in the mobile phone SNS friends and KakaoTalk average call times. measurement tool of social participation was used Maastricht Social Participation Profile(MSPP) as modifed by Godelief et al.(2009). MSPP is composed of formal social participation(undertaking) and informal social participation(contact with friends and acquaintances and contact with family) item. Results : The study shows a significant correlation between the number of SNS friends and Undertaking item and between KakaoTalk average call times and Contact with friends and acquaintances item(${\alpha}=0.05$). Conclusion : College student SNS strength and social participation showed a correlation. Therefore, The higher the SNS strength and social participation is determined to have a positive impact on the daily life of college students.

Difference of Privacy Paradox on Open and Closed SNS (개방형 및 폐쇄형 SNS에서 프라이버시 역설의 차이)

  • In this study, we classified SNS into open and closed types, and empirically examined in which SNS activity the privacy paradox holds. The idea comes from the argument that privacy paradox may be observed differently in the open SNS, which is more vulnerable to the leakage of personal information due to public profiles, and the closed SNS, which is relatively less vulnerable by limiting the range of acquaintances, The results of the empirical analysis are as follows. First, in case of SNS usage, the privacy paradox holds in the overall SNS activities, but different conclusions are drawn according to open and closed SNS. In particular, it is found that as privacy concerns increase, individuals respond in a reasonable and desirable way to reduce SNS activity in the open SNS, which is more susceptible to infringement. Second, in the case of SNS activity intensity, (i) heavy users are more seriously aware of the probability of privacy infringement than light users, so there is a reasonable response to reducing the intensive margin with increasing privacy concerns, and (ii) this tendency is more clearly observed in open SNS, which is more vulnerable to privacy infringement. Accordingly, insisting that the privacy paradox is empirically established by observing only the overall SNS activities without distinguishing them into open and closed SNS may be interpreted as a "Fallacy of Composition."

An exploratory study of applying SNS to lecture and professor trust (SNS 활용한 강의와 교수신뢰에 대한 탐색적 연구)

  • This is an exploratory study to verify the impact of applying SNS to lecture on the professor trust and students achievement. The subject of the study is two groups which consist of SNS applied class and the group using legacy online class supporting system and the contents, material, activities of class are same. We verified the differences between two groups with the professor trust divided into 4 constructs such as intimacy, expertise, teaching ability, leadership based on the literature review and students achievement classified into midterm and final. The results shows that intimacy and final evaluation are statistically significant between two groups.

  • The explosive growth of social networking services based on smart devices popularize these relationships and activities online in accordance with the far larger impact of this on the real life offline, the interest and importance for the online activity is increasing. In this study, factors affecting the SNS activity are defined by object, user, influence direction, influence distance and proposed a method to measure organic terms in effect between the SNS users. Influence Direction and Influence Strength (or Distance) are elaborated by using the existing influence measurement element such as structured data - the number of friends, the difference between the number of contacts - and the new influence measurement element such as unstructured data - gap between the former time and the latter time, preference and type of response behavior - that occur in social network service. In addition, the system for collecting and analysing data for measuring influence from social network service and the process model on the method for measuring influence is tested by using sample data on Facebook and explained the implementation probability.

  • Recently, in order to provide the mobile multimedia service cost-effectively, the user's demand has been greatly increasing to use wireless LAN (WLAN). But existing WLAN (Wireless LAN) is vulnerable to attack of outside, as users are connecting AP using Open Authentication. In this article, we have designed and implemented WLAN Information Sharing System using social network service (SNS) which is efficiently managing. WLAN secure key. A proposed WLAN Information Sharing System model has been proposed in which the social trust strength between people is employed for WLAN access control.

  • Korea, as a leader of Internet and game sector in IT industry, has been playing an important role in increasing its industrial development. This country has won the first place in wireless broadband usage and contributed to Internet game industry development. This means that Korean use smartphones most. It is juveniles that use Internet and smartphones most among Korean who use teenage., the number of the teenagers who overuse smartphones or Internet has surpassed 200,000. The number of the adolescents who spend more time using smartphone and Internet is about 180,000 and the number of the teens who are over-dependent to smartphone having trouble living their lives is over 22,000. The SNS usage rate of the contents that teens are most likely to use has accounted for over 80 percent. Among teens, SNS is being considered as a major means that builds relationship due to smartphone technology and the prevalence of smartphones. However, the use of SNS among youths has two sides; one is positive, the other negative. Not only does SNS have a positive function that it keeps relationship but it also has a negative function that it can lead to smartphone addiction.

Differences in Sentiment on SNS: Comparison among Six Languages (SNS에서의 언어 간 감성 차이 연구: 6개 언어를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the differences in sentiment on social networking sites among six languages (English, German, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Dutch). A total of 204 million tweets were collected using Streaming API. Subjective/objective ratio, sentiment strength, positive/negative ratio, number of retweets and boundary impermeability were analyzed with SentiStrength to estimate the trends of emotional expression via Twitter. The results showed that subjective/objective ratio and the positive/negative ratio of tweets were significantly different by languages (p<0.001). And, there were significant effects of language on sentiment strength, boundary impermeability and the number of retweets (p<0.001). The results also indicate that the cross-cultural, language differences should be taken into account in sentiment analysis on SNS.

  • 본 연구는 농산물 전자상거래를 이용하는 소비자들의 신뢰와 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 소셜네트워크 특성을 분석함으로써 그동안 상대적으로 소홀했던 농산물 전자상거래 분야의 소셜네트워크 활용 방안 및 구매의도를 개선하기 위한 시사점을 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 위해 농산물 전자상거래 이용 소비자들을 대상으로 소셜네트워크특성이 신뢰를 매개로 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 소셜네트워크 특성으로 도출한 교류빈도, 친밀감, 호혜성, 감정의 강도 중 친밀감, 호혜성, 감정의 강도는 신뢰에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 교류빈도는 정(+)의 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 신뢰는 구매의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.
