본 연구의 목적은 네트워크 이론 관점에서 정기선 운항에 따른 해운네트워크 분석을 통한 세계 주요 항만의 중심성을 분석해 보고 항만경쟁력으로 대변되는 항만물동량에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아봄으로써 선사 중심의 항만경쟁력 평가 및 항만당국 및 항만운영자의 컨테이너항만 경쟁력 향상방안과 개발정책에 필요한 근거를 마련하는데 있다. 항만의 네트워크 중심성을 파악하기 위해 이용된 데이터는 Containerization Yearbook과 online의 2007년부터 2011년까지 6년간의 정기선사 서비스 및 항만 데이터를 활용하였으며 분석방법으로는 그래프 이론의 한 부문인 사회 네트워크 분석(SNA: Social Network Analysis)을 이용하였다. 또한 이를 통해 도출된 주요 항만의 중심성과 항만경쟁력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 선행연구를 통해 도출하여 항만물동량과의 패널 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 세계 주요항만의 중심성을 분석하여 시간에 흐름에 따른 항만 네트워크 내 역할에 대해 파악되었고, 고정효과모형(Fixed effect model)으로 선택된 패널회귀분석을 통해 거시경제변수인 GDP, 선석의 변화율 및 항만 중심성 중 위세 중심성(Eigenvector Centrality)이 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 변수로 분석되었다.

The purpose of the study was to explore the potential of the Social Network Analysis as an analytical tool for scientific investigation of learner-learner, or learner-tutor interaction within an Computer Supported Corporative Learning (CSCL) environment. Theoretical and methodological implication of the Social Network Analysis had been discussed. Following theoretical analysis, an exploratory empirical study was conducted to test statistical correlation between traditional performance measures such as achievement and team contribution index, and the centrality measure, one of the many quantitative measures the Social Network Analysis provides. Results indicate the centrality measure was correlated with the higher order learning performance and the peer-evaluated contribution indices. An interpretation of the results and their implication to instructional design theory and practices were provided along with some suggestions for future research.

최근 온라인 소셜 네트워크 서비스(SNS)의 사용자가 크게 늘어나고 있으며 다양한 분야에서 SNS의 사용자 관계 구조 및 메시지를 분석하기 위한 연구를 진행하고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 소셜 네트워크 분석 방법들은 노드 사이의 최단 거리를 기초로 하고 있으므로 계산 시간이 오래 걸린다. 이는 점차 대형화 되어가는 SNS의 데이터를 여러 분야에서 활용하는데 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 SNS의 사용자 그래프에서 사용자간 최단거리를 빠르게 찾기 위한 휴리스틱 기반의 최단 경로 탐색 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 1) 트리로 표현된 소셜 네트워크에서 시작 노드와 목표 노드를 설정한다. 그리고 2) 만약 목표 노드가 경사 트리의 단말에 있다면 경사 트리가 시작하는 노드를 임시 골 노드로 설정한다. 마지막으로 3) 연결의 차수를 평가값으로 하는 휴리스틱 기반 최단거리 탐색을 수행한다. 이렇게 최단거리를 탐색한 후 매개 중심성 분석(Betweenness Centrality) 및 근접 중심성(Closeness Centrality)를 계산한다. 제안하는 방법을 사용하면 소셜 네트워크 분석에서 가장 많은 시간이 필요한 최단거리 탐색을 빠르게 수행할 수 있으므로 소셜 네트워크 분석의 효율성을 기대할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법을 검증하기 위하여 약 16만 명으로 구성된 SNS에서의 실제 데이터를 이용하여 매개 중심성 분석과 근접 중심성 분석을 수행하였다. 실험 결과, 제안하는 방법은 전통적 방식에 비하여 매개 중심성, 근접 중심성의 계산 시간이 각각 6.8배, 1.8배 더 빠른 결과를 보였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 소셜 네트워크 분석의 시간을 향상시켜 여러 분야에서 사회 현상 및 동향을 분석하는데 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.

This paper investigates the relationship between the structural characteristics of a virtual CoP and the measures of social network analysis. Several implications were developed by the results of the study First, the study, based on reviews of both the CoP and SNA literature, identified specific structural measures of SNA; connectedness, geodesic distance, and density. Second, the formal CoP investigated in this study showed greater development that the classic, informal CoP in terms of the structural dimension of a CoP. The results show that those measures of social network analysis provide an illuminating way to better understand the structural properties of CoP's. Implications of the study with some suggestions for future research are provided.

본 연구의 목적은 컴퓨터지원협동 학습 환경에서 학습자-학습자, 학습자-온라인교사간 상호작용을 계량화시켜 파악할 수 있는 기법으로서 네크워크 마이닝 기법의 일종인 사회 연결망 분석(Social Network Analysis: SNA)의 가능성에 대해 살펴보는 것이다. 이러한 연구 목적의 달성을 위해 먼저 사회학과 인류학 분야를 중심으로 최근 활발히 활용되고 있는 이 기법의 이론적 및 방법론적 배경을 살펴보고, 이어서 웹 기반 기업교육 운영 과정에서 생성된 질문방 로그파일을 활용하여 SNA변인 중 하나인 중심도와 학업 성취도 및 팀활동 기여도 간의 상관관계를 분석하는 탐색적 실증 연구를 실시하였다. 연구의 결과 중심도는 학업 성취도, 특히 적용 평가 등 고차학습 성취도 및 동료들에 의해 평가된 팀 학습 기여도와 높은 상관이 있음이 나타났다. 결론으로서 이러한 연구 결과가 제시하는 교수 설계적 함의 및 그 제한성에 대해 살펴보고 아울러 향후 연구 방향에 대한 제언을 덧붙였다.

The online social networking services (SNS) have been growing as the means of communication. In this study, we investigated word-of-mouth (WOM) effect under the SNS environment and evaluated the impact of message sender's influence on the WOM effect. Especially, this study focused on the betweenness centrality calculated through the social network analysis (SNA) of SNS network information, and proposed it as the measure of WOM message sender's influence, SNA may provide more accurate and objective measures than subjective self-reporting survey method. Fifty-one Facebook users responded to each of their four Facebook friends, who had been selected based on their betweenness centrality, Statistical analyses were performed using the responses and the betweenness centralities of the Facebook friends. The results showed that the direction (positive vs, negative) of a WOM message in SNS had an impact on the attitude of the message receiver toward the product. Moreover, the betweenness centrality of the message sender as well as his/her opinion leadership had a moderating effect on the WOM effect. Opinion leadership is a measure that has been frequently used for indicating the influence of WOM message sender in the previous studies. Considering the result that the betweenness centrality of the message sender was Significantly correlated to his/her opinion leadership, the betweenness centrality can be used for indicating the influence of WOM message sender.

In this paper, the relationships between code-share networks and performances in airline industry were analyzed by using Social Network Analysis (SNA). We first analyzed the schedule data from OAG (Official Airline Guide) to obtain core-share information of airline industries. SNA was, then, applied to the code-share information. Finally, statistical analysis was conducted to analyze the relationships between code-share social networks and performances. The result shows that the size and out-degree centrality have relatively significant effects on the performance of airline industries, while in-degree and betweenness centrality has less significant effects.

본 연구는 AEO 제도관련 기존연구의 연구동향 및 특징을 파악하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 하였다. 연구의 방법론으로는 SNA법에서 제시하는 연결중심성, 근접중심성, 매개중심성을 활용하였다. 키워드 네트워크 분석결과, 연결중심성 결과에서는 "MRA", "Logistics Security"가, 근접중심성 결과에서는 "MRA", "Logistics Security"가 그리고 매개중심성 분석 결과, "AEO 활용혜택", "신뢰성"이 상위 키워드 결과값으로 도출되었다. 또한 기간별 중심성 차이분석를 통하여 특정시점을 기준으로 연구의 동향이 바뀌어 왔음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 AEO 제도에 대한 키워드 네트워크 분석을 통하여 전 세계적인 연구 동향을 제시하였다는 점에서 연구의 시사점이 있다.

This study analyzes how the port connectivity network has changed with the restructuring of the liner shipping alliance and explores the impact of these changes on network characteristics using social network analysis (SNA). While due to economies of scale, the scale of ports and liner shipping has expanded, the goal of shipping companies has changed to achieve cost-effectiveness due to the diseconomies of scale. Such changes in the environment have greatly affected ports according to the strategies of major liner alliances, and port centrality has shifted in response to restructuring in strategic alliances. This research confirmed that port centrality has continuously changed, and the reason for this phenomenon was analyzed through the derived main network centrality indices. This finding provides significant implications for port authorities and terminal operators to consider different perspectives when planning for sustainable growth and management.

In a construction project in which cooperation among project members gets its importance, trust among construction site members should be foundation to enhance team spirit and achievement. This study analyzes the trust network among staff by using social network analysis (SNA) theory for organizations in apartment complex construction sites in Korea. The analysis illustrates higher level of trust for those positioning in the higher positions in hierarchy and having greater experiences. It might be attributable to own features of construction works where skills are acquired by site experience.
