  • The automation system oriented as one of the second year automation projects for the small and medium sized enterprises(SME) was developed for the improvement of the production rate and cut the required manpower in the field of the relay which is one of the small electric components used in various industrial fields. The objectives of this study are not only improving the international competition of the relay itself but also partially solving the technical and financial porblems featured by common bottlenecks of the SME for effecient assembly automation. For the purpose of these objectives, several topics are studied as followings. -. Analyzing the adjustment process and determining the specification of the automation system. -. Determining the layout for the automation system to meet the determined specification. -. Detail design ofthe automation system for relay adjusment and inspection. -. Control system design. -. Automation system development and performance test.

Korean E-commerce Platform's Dashboard Style Decision Support System

  • Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, SMEs are forced to converge themselves into online business to cope with the rapidly changing business environment. However, due to various difficulties of becoming an online business, most SMEs choose to use services provided by the online sales platform. These platforms offer valuable support such as DSS in return for the high amount of commission fee. We analyze a novel data set from Naver Corporation's 'Smart Store' platform with the quasi-experimental method (propensity score matching technique combined with the difference in differences analysis) to analyze DSS usage and SME's performance empirically. Our results suggest that DSS usage leads to an increase in SME's sales performance in means of sales frequency and sales amount. Additionally, we have found weak support that DSS usage enables SMEs to attract customers better than those not using DSS.

중소기업 정보시스템 활용실태와 수요 전망 (The Analysis on the Forecasting Demand & the Implementation of IT Systems for SMEs)

  • Recently, most managers of Small & Medium Enterprises(SMEs) think that all problem of a company is solved if only implementation of ERP or e-business. But it's too risky. Technology of IT is developing so radical, so managers didn't have enough time to consider what system is appropriate in their business process and how implement information system is when they establish Information System. This Study addresses the present Information System that operating and needed for SMEs based on the Value Chain of IS. Thus through the prediction on the consequence of IS implementation, we could cut down unnecessary investment cost and support core competence of a company. Next time, the study on the classification of more detail IS associated in SME's performance is required.

클라우드를 이용한 중소기업정보화 경영혁신플랫폼의 오픈 마켓 전략 연구 (Open Market Strategy of the Business Innovation Platform for SME Informatization based on Cloud Computing)

  • SMBA (Small and Medium Business Administration) and TIPA (Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs) have operated the Business Innovation Platform for SME Informatization based on cloud computing technology with the cooperation of seven industry cooperatives since 2013. This project will evolve into the open market platform where service providers and users voluntarily participate and transact. This research conducts the literature review about the concept of open market and the empirical analysis through survey for the software providers and the future users regarding the future operation methods. The policy about how the open market strategy for the business innovation platform needs to be designed and implemented are organized as the three differentiated government support strategies. The first is to provide free IT services including specialized core operation support S/W which is developed only for the small or home office group of firms which lack minimal informatization capability and budget. The second is to augment IT platform service through incorporating ERP supplier initiated commercial S/W sales window for those firms having medium level informatization capability. This includes to provide IT support for customization and system integration with existing government subsidized S/W. The third is to provide upgrading services of existing S/W functions to facilitate better system utilization. The results provide useful insight for government role to enhance SME competitiveness using IT.

Determine the Critical Factors of Information Systems Success (ISS) to Enhance Customer Satisfaction on SME Performance in Saudi Arabia

  • In today's worldwide environment, information systems (IS) usage is growing swiftly. As a result, it now affects every aspect of life and serves as a general growth tool for individuals, groups, and governments. information system success (ISS) is affected by customer satisfaction and their acceptance of using these services. In addition, this issue will be a critical thing for SMEs, especially in Saudi Arabia. SMEs have a shortage and lack IT experience and resources. The research's question is What are the ISS that will improve customer satisfaction and SME performance in Saudi Arabia. Through an online survey, The data on how Saudi SMEs succeed in IS was acquired. Citizens and residents users in Saudi Arabia, representing a range of ages and educational backgrounds. In the IS success factors evaluation, which assessed the degree of agreeability and disagreeability of specific statements related to the six dimensions based on the empirical data, it was found that the users agreed with the majority of the claims. For users, usability is the most important feature. This study discovered that enhancing the system's overall user experience might lead to higher overall satisfaction.

컨설팅 연구기관의 지속가능을 위한 수익모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Profit Model for Sustainability of Consulting Research Institutes)

  • Among the government-sponsored projects supported by Ministry of SMEs and Startups(MSS), the financial support of the Consulting Research Institutes of our university is scheduled to be ended this year. In this regard, this study is to develop a profit model for R&D center of Consulting Research Institute that can cultivate the financial independence of R&D center of Consulting Research Institutes and foster technology convergence consulting manpower to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs in preparation for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The profit model were derived from the current status of consulting industry and similar organizations, the current status of consulting graduate R&D centers, case studies of other universities, and focus group interviews. In order to select three high profit models and commercialize them, BMC (Biz Model Canvas) was used and business feasibility was examined. Therefore, three profit model of R&D center of Consulting Research Institute are: First, SCB (SME's Consulting Business: Total Solution Provider for SMEs through Technology Convergence Consulting), Second, SNB (SME's Network Business: Experts connection in Consulting Graduate School for Solving Problems and Problems of SMEs / Industry Consolidation) And third, SM (Sustainable Management: Financial independence through structural improvement of Consulting Research Institute), and the road-map was established. As an implementation plan, the company intends to seek financial independence by developing a profit model for R&D center of Consulting Research Institutes and by establishing business goals and strategies, manpower operation plan, organization, and investment plan for three years.

  • 4차 산업혁명은 제조업을 시작으로 전 산업의 환경을 빠르게 변화시키고 있으며, 4차 산업혁명에 포함된 신기술이 이러한 변화를 주도하고 있다. 국내 중소기업은 4차 산업혁명에 따른 변화가 필요하며, 특히 스마트 공장의 도입이 필요한 시기이다. 본 연구는 스마트 공장 도입에 대해 중소기업의 현황을 SWOT 분석을 통해 성공적인 도입을 위한 전략을 제언하였다. 강점 활용 전략으로 첫째 우수한 경쟁력을 통한 활성화, 둘째 우수한 기술력과 정보화를 이용, 셋째 세계적인 네트워크 기반의 환경을 활용을 제언하였으며, 약점 보완 전략으로는 첫째 정보보안에 대한 인식 제고, 둘째 기술 표준화 수립을 위한 평가 체계 확립, 셋째 전문 인력 확보를 위한 인력 양성 추진으로 제언하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 중소기업에 효과적인 전략과 4차 산업 혁명에 따른 다양한 외부의 전략을 이해하고 대비할 수 있도록 스마트 공장의 필요성에 대한 제언을 하였다.

  • 조직의 성과 향상을 위한 정보시스템 설계, 구성, 실행 노력은 정보기술 활용을 조직 전략과 연계하여 경쟁적 우위를 확보하는 방향으로 이루어져 왔다. 하지만 국내 중소기업의 정보화는 자금, 인력 등의 측면에서 매우 열악한 환경에 머무르고 있다. 중소기업의 열악한 환경을 극복하기 위해 조직 내 정보시스템 수준을 올바르게 평가하고, 정보화 투자가 향후 경쟁력 강화에 기여한다는 이론적 대안을 추구하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 정보시스템 사용 환경에서 SERVQUAL을 정보시스템 부서가 제공하는 서비스에 대한 측정도구로 활용하기 위해, 기존 마케팅 중심의 서비스 범주에서 벗어나 정보시스템 환경에 적용 가능한 모델을 개발하고 그 신뢰도와 타당성을 확인해보았다. 그 결과, 서비스 품질의 향상은 시스템과 정보 품질 등을 향상시킴으로 조직 구성원이 업무환경에 대해 만족하게 되고 결국 순차적으로 정보시스템을 이용하고자 하는 협업성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

중소기업 정보보호 컨설팅 개선을 위한 방법론 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of Methodology for Improving Information Security Consulting for SMEs in Korea)

  • 정부는 중소기업 정보보호 활동의 어려움을 해결하고자 정보보호 컨설팅 지원 사업을 수행하고 있으나, 중소기업에 적용하는 정보보호 컨설팅 방법론이 주요정보통신기반시설(CIIP), ISMS, ISO27001 등과 같은 검증된 방법론을 적용하지 않고 컨설팅 수행업체별 다양한 방법을 적용하다 보니 중소기업 형태, 규모 등 조직 상황에 따라 적절한 대응이 어렵다는 것이다. 이러한 중소기업 정보보호 컨설팅의 문제점을 개선하고 보다 효과적이고 실효적이며 표준적인 방법론을 개선하기 위하여 현행 제도에서 적용하고 있는 정보보호 컨설팅 방법론을 비교 분석하여 중소기업에 적합한 정보보호 체계를 구축하는 정보보호 컨설팅이 될 수 있도록 하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 중소기업 정보보호 컨설팅 방법 개선 방안을 통해 중소기업 규모나 사업 형태에 상관없이 모든 기업에 적합한 정보보호 컨설팅이 가능하여 컨설팅 품질 제고에 이바지하고 중소기업이 정보보호 활동에 만족하고 지속해서 이행되기를 기대한다.
