Over the past $2{\sim}3$ years power utilities have shown a marked change in attitude by an ever increasing interest in using relay communication features. As yet there is no accepted international standard for communication protocol in automation systems. Recent work within the UCA work group has resulted in the proposal, UCA 2.0, as the informative interface for automation systems. This proposed standard embodies the generic principles developed and used within generic protocol. This paper describes and analyses various communication protocols for automation systems in electric power companies.

Objectives : The objective of this study is the Basic research for mind and body cure protocol construction through the Sim(心) study at Buddhism Medicine, Constitutional Medicine, and Oriental Medicine. Methods : 1. The Sim(心) in Buddhism is a target of spiritual culture and subjective awareness of An ascetic person in interior psychology. In this research, the Sim(心) has been modified within a concept of Early Buddhism and You-sic in order to have medical logicality. 2. Since the study deep into Sim(心) within Confucianism has various aspects, each Confucian's theory argument or era. We limited the significance of the Sim(心) to be associated with the category of the Sim(心) in Sasang Constitutional Medicine which is a product of practical Confucianism. 3. The criteria of debate for the Sim(心) is based on the "Hwang-je-nae-gyoung", because "Hwang-je-nae-gyoung" is founded to definite the term regarding spirit or mind in Oriental medicine Results : 1. "Hwang-je-nae-gyoung" which came from thought of You-Sic, thought of Taoism, and Early Buddhism becomes the theoretical basis for the Sim(心) in Buddhism Medicine, Sasang Constitutional Medicine, and Oriental Medicine. 2. The Sim(心) in the mind psychology of Buddhism Medicine, Sasang Constitutional Medicine, and Oriental Medicine has active aspects. but the visual thing // There are visual aspects being contrasted with 'Sim(心)' of mind psychology and aspects of activity in Buddhism medicine, Sasang constitutional Medicine and Oriental Medicine; which are 'Hrd', 'Hrdaya', 'four-large' 'five base', 'chin, chest, navel and abdomen', 'head, shoulder, waist and buttocks' consisting 'the body', and the heart and 'four interorgans' from the study of symbolical interorgans). In Buddhism Medicine, Sim(心)'s Epistemology is the most extensively understood fact about 'Sim(心)', and for Sasang Constitutional Medicine and Oriental Medicine. 'Sim(心)' is limited as an 'Element' that comprises the body. 3. The Functional area of the Sim(心) in the Buddhism Medicine, Sasang Constitutional Medicine, Oriental Medicine is composed with 'consciousness(意識)' 'manas-vij_na(末那識)', '_aya-vij_na(阿賴耶識)', 'mind greed(心欲)', 'Li(理)' and 'Sin(神)', about the interpretive area of 'Sim(心)', 'Sin(神)' of Oriental medicine is the most comprehensive concept, and on the side of the depth of 'thinking' and 'consciousness', '_aya-vij_na(阿賴耶識)' from Buddhism Medicine in the key point. 4. The Sim(心) in the Buddhism Medicine, Sasang Constitutional Medicine, has the positive and negative aspects, such as the 'Dukkha(煩惱)' and A merciful heart or Human Sim(心) and Taoism Sim(心).

This paper presents a multimedia mail system which transmit and redeive multimedia mailing messges on Intemet.This mail system is an extension of the exsting e-mail system for multimedia uncluding,text,image,MPEG video,and binary data,The MIME(Multipurpose Intert Mail Extensions)format,which is an extension of REF-822 maill format,is used to reprssent multimedia,and SMTP(Simple Mail Transfer Protocol)is utilized as a mail transport prttocol.The IMAP(Intenet Mail Access Protcol)which privides more functions than the widely used POP(Post Office Protocol)is used as a mailbox retrival protocol.The mail client is complemented on a multimedia PC while the server is implemented on a UNIX system.In the mail system, a mail sending program allows a user to attach binary files such as Postscript files and MPEG compressed video,while a receiving program provides direct interface to application programs to play back received multimedia mail messages.

In this paper, we propose a SInk-initiated geographic Multicast (SIM) protocol to reduce frequent location updates from mobile sinks to a source and to achieve fast multicast tree construction and data delivery. The proposed protocol allows sinks to construct their own data delivery paths to a source node and a multicast tree to be atomically constructed by merging the paths. Then, the source forwards data to the destinations down the multicast tree. This paper also propose a round-based virtual infrastructure with a radial shape for increasing the merging probability of data delivery paths and reducing reconstruction ratio of the multicast tree due to mobility of sinks. Simulation results show that the proposed protocol is superior to previous SOurce-initiated geographic Multicast (SOM) protocols in term of average data delivery delay and average energy consumption.

In large-scale wireless sensor networks, the deployed nodes cannot be replaced or recharged after first deployment. Also, dead nodes maγ lead to the partition of whole networks. While performing data dissemination under a battery power constraint, energy efficiency is a key design factor of routing protocol. As a solution for the efficient data dissemination, in this paper, we propose a protocol namely Hierarchical Data Dissemination (HDD) which provides scalable and efficient data delivery to multiple sources and mobile sinks. HDD uses the facts that sink nodes are central gathering Points and source-centric data forwarding paths are constructed and it is maintained with two-tier communications. The performance of HDD is compared with TTDD about the energy consumption, data delivery time and data success ration. The extensive simulation results show that HDD Routing Protocol outperforms TIDD by more than $1.5{\sim}3times$ on energy consumption.

This article describes the useful way to measure the torque and RPM of the geared motor. For this, we have made the planetary geared reduction motor including the torque sensor unit which consists of hall effects sensor and permanent magnet. Our monitoring system displays the sensing values (torque, rpm) and the calculated value (power) and it also has the network capability using the Bluetooth protocol. We will show that our solution is much more inexpensive and simple method to measure torque and rpm than before.

현재 ad hoc 라우팅 프로토콜들은 두 노드사이의 동일한 전파 전송 영역을 가정한 대칭 링크만을 지원하는데 반해 이동 ad hoc 망에서는 각각의 노드들의 전파 전송 영역의 차이로 인해 잦은 비대칭 링크가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 라우팅 프로토콜의 성능을 향상 시키고 비대칭 라우팅 프로토콜을 구현하기 위한 링3설정 알고리즘을 제시한다. 이를 기존 AODV 라우팅 프로토콜에 적용한 경우를 GlomoSim을 이용한 시뮬레이션을 통해 성능 평가하였다.

2 세대 GSM 통신에서는 SIM 을 이용하여 망이 사용자를 인식하는 단방향 인증 서비스만 제공한다. 하지만, 3 세대 비동기 방식의 IMT-2000 에서는 2 세대 인증 메커니즘의 취약성 보완 및 양방향 인증을 위해서 새로운 인증 프로토콜을 설계하였다. 이에 3GPP 는 인증 메커니즘의 핵심 알고리즘으로 Milenage를 사용할 것을 권고하고 사업자는 이를 사용하여 인증 서비스를 제공할 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문은 JCOS 기반의 USIM 플랫폼에서 상호인증 기능을 수행하는 자바 애플릿 구현에 관한 것이다. 결과에 관해 에뮬레이터 환경에서 테스트하여 표준문서에서 제시하는 값과 동일함을 확인하였다.

The central challenge in the design of ad-hoc networks is the development of dynamic routing protocol that efficiently finds route between mobile nodes. Several routing protocols such as DSR, AODV and DSDV have been proposed in the literature to facilitate communication in such dynamically changing network topology. In this paper, a Node Transition Probability (NTP) based routing algorithm, which determines stable routes using the received power from all other neighboring nodes is proposed. NTP based routing algorithm is designed and implemented using Global Mobile Simulator (GloMoSim), a scalable network simulator. The performance of this routing algorithm is studied for various mobility models and throughput, control overhead, average end-to-end delay, and percentage of packet dropped are compared with the existing routing protocols. This algorithm shows acceptable performance under all mobility conditions. The results show that this algorithm maximizes the bandwidth utilization during heavy traffic with lesser overhead.
