The purpose of this studied was to examine the reliability analysis of the GMFM in children with C.P. The subject of this study were 40 C. P patient who had been hospitalized Department of Sam-Yook Rehabilitation Hospital. Subjects were 28 boys and girls, aged 6 to 8 years. Reliability of each dimension of the GMFM were analyzed using Cronbach coefficients and to examine the intra-rater reliability were using Pearson correlation coefficients. The result of reliability analysis of the GMFM revealed higher reliability values. The reliability of the total dimension score was 95. Test-retest revealed intra-rater correlation coefficients from .71 to .98. The study presents that GMFM is useful in assessment of function of children with C. P by the quantitative description of the function.
Ginsenoside Rp1 (G-Rp1) is a novel ginseng saponin derivative with anti-tumor activity. However, the biochemical and molecular mechanisms of G-Rp1 on anti-tumor activity are not fully understood. In the present study, we report that G-Rp1 inhibits lung cancer cell proliferation, migration and adhesion in p53 wild-type A549 and p53-defi cient H1299 cells. Anti-proliferative activity of G-Rp1 in lung cancer cells is mediated by enhanced nuclear localization of cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors including $p27^{Kip1}$ and $p21^{WAF1/Cip1}$, and subsequent inhibition of pRb phosphorylation. We also show that these anti-tumor activities of G-Rp1 in both A549 and H1299 cells appear to be mediated by suppression of mitogenic signaling pathways such as ERK, Akt and $p70^{S6K}$. Taken together, these findings suggest further development and evaluation of G-Rp1 for the treatment of lung cancers with mutated p53 as well as wild-type p53.
Mutants having altered levels and/or types of EPS in exopolysaccharide biosynthesis were isolated after NTG mutagenesis of Zoogloea ramigera 115SLR. Mutant candidates were classfied with five groups based on the observed characteristics for EPS biosynthesis pattern. The recombinant plasmids pLEX3BS and pLEX3BM were constructed from pEX3B which was previously isolated from genomic DNA of Z. ramigera 115SLR. Plasmid pLEX3BM with a 7.8 kb insert DNA contains an additional 1.8kb DNA fragment which is not present in pLEX3BS containing 13 kb insert DNA. Plasmid pLEX3BM was able to complement the mutation responsible for the changes in morphology of Z. ramigera 115SLR. However, the complementation of EPS negative mutant strains was not successful with pLEX3BM. Plasmid pLEX3BS on the other hand complemented the mutation responsible for the loss of EPS biosynthesis, resulting in the restoration of Z. ramigera 115SLR phenotype. But this plasmid was not able to complement the morphological mutant strain, Z. ramigera 115SLR.
The aim of this study was to investigate whether trophic factor supplementation (TFS) enhance the survival of kidney cell during cold ischemic storage and rewarming. The effect of TFS on the phosphorylation of p44/42 and p38 mitogen activated protein kinases (MAPK) signaling pathway was determined by Western blot. Apoptotic changes after cold ischemic storage and rewarming was determined by 4',6'-diamino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) staining. The cell viability was evaluated by live assay. TFS significantly decreased p44/42 and p38 MAPK activity induced by cold ischemic injury and rewarming (p < 0.05). The number of apoptotic cells was decreased after 5 minute rewarming in the presence of TFS. TFS significantly increased the cell viability after 5 minute rewarming (p < 0.05). Therefore, it was concluded that trophic factor supplementation protects kidney tubule cells from cold ischemic and rewarming injury via the inhibition of p44/42 and p38 MAPK activation and reducing apoptotic change.
We have studied to develop a process for the preparation of protein isolates free of isothiocyanate and oxazolidine-thione when defatted meal was extrracted with a cold alkaline solution at pH11.0. The rapeseed protein isolates were separated at $0^{\circ}C$ using 1% sodium algiante of 500 cps as a precipitation aid, also. The proteins had original colors, namely, a grey curd at pH 6.7, a light cream at pH 5.6 and a yellow cream at pH 5.0, The purity and the color was improved by washing with water and freez-drying with acetone, not at room temperature. A countercurrent procedure was a prerequisite for a continuous large scale production of protein isolates.
Soybean curd residues (SCR) obtained from hot and cold manufacturing processes were fermented by indigenous microorganisms, Lactobacillus rhamnosus LS and Bacillus firmus NA-l for 15 h at 37$^{\circ}C$. The pH, acidity, viable cell counts, and tyrosine content were evaluated in samples with variations in sugar, starter and type of SCR. The raw Doowon SCR (D-SCR, cold-processed) fermented by indigenous microorganism had a 0.9% acidity and 6.7 ${\times}$ 10$^{7}$ CFU/g viable cell counts, compared with the 0.11 % acidity and 6.7 ${\times}$ 10$^{6}$ CFU/g viable cell counts of raw fermented Pulmuwon SCR (P-SCR, hot-processed). After fermentation of raw P-SCR with 1 % glucose and 1 % L. rhamnosus LS starter, the viable cell counts, tyrosine content and acidity were 4.7 ${\times}$ 10$^{8}$ CFU/g, 16.3 mg% and 0.9%, respectively. In addition, the raw P-SCR fermented with Bacillus firmus NA-l as co-starter had a 0.45% acidity, 2.4 ${\times}$ 10$^{8}$ CFU/g lactic acid bacteria, and 3.3 ${\times}$ 10$^{6}$ CFU/g Bacillus sp. In particular, the tyrosine content was increased 5 fold. The drying of fermented SCR was completed by hot-air drying (5$0^{\circ}C$) within 12 h; the dried P-SCR and D-SCR had 1.8 ${\times}$ 10$^{7}$ CFU/g and 5.3 ${\times}$ 10$^{6}$ CFU/g viable cell counts, respectively. The concentrate of methanol extract from fermented D-SCR inhibited the initial cell growth of E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa in liquid culture.
Eight flavonoids were isolated from the BuOH fraction of the 70% EtOH extract of Zizyphus jujuba var. spinosa seeds along with three known compounds, daucosterol (1), butyl ${\beta}$-D-fructofuranoside (2), and magnoflorine (4). On the basis of spectroscopic methods and comparison with literature values their structures were elucidated as 6"'-feruloylspinosin (3), nicotiflorin (5), 6"'-p-coumaroylspinosin (6), isospinosin (7), 6"'-vanilloylspinosin (8), spinosin (9), hovetrichoside C (10), and camelliaside B (11). Compounds 1, 2, 10, and 11 were isolated from this plant for the first time.

This paper suggests $p$-facility locations in $m$ candidate locations and $n$ areas in optimal cost side(population${\times}$shortest distance). This problem has been classified by NP-complete because there is not a polynomial time algorithm. In this paper, we suggests reverse-delete method that deletes a candidate facility one by one from $p=m$ until $p=2$. As a result of the proposed algorithm for the $5{\times}5$ and $7{\times}7$, the initial solution is obtained. For the Swain's 55-node network, we obtain the optimal solution through a solution improvement process with $p=4$ and it by using the initial solution with $p=5$.
A total of 80 photographs on 29 nights and another total of 44(22 each in B and V) photoelectric observations on 6 nights are secured for P/Halley(1982 ⅰ) for seven months before and after the perihelion passage. The photographic observations have been mode at different places depending on the position of the comet and the development of the tail, while the photoelectric observations were made only with 61-cm reflector at Yonsei University Observatory(YUO). Four most representative photographs are presented only to illustrate the remarkable features of the comet. The second one of these shows a coma with a possible flash activity on 1985 SEPT. 18.56 UT. The third one shows the largest tail recorded among our plates, and the last one prepresents unusual record made on northern hemisphere at a latitude as high as about $33^{circ}$12' N on the occasion of the comet's second perigee on 1976 APR. 11.6 UT. Photoelectric observations, on the other hand, determine the V and B-V of the total and the coma of the comet before its perihelion passage, and exhibit the light variations of 0m.6 in V in an hour and a half. Two new sets of m and n, one before and the other after the perihelion passage, determined based on the collected data, but the values are dissimilar one another significantly.

Purpose: This study was a descriptive correlation study to increase understanding of, and relationships among critical thinking disposition, clinical decision making and job satisfaction of cancer center nurses. Method: The participants in this study were 150 nurses working in one cancer center located in Gyeonggi Province. The statistic program, SPSS WIN17.0 was used for data analysis and data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation. Results: The critical thinking disposition of the participants showed statistically significant differences according to areas of practice (F=4.426, p=.005), and current position (F=9.346, p=.000). For clinical decision making of the participants, statistically significant differences were found according to current position (F=10.667, p=.000). Furthermore, for job satisfaction, there were statistically significant differences according to income (F=6.779, p=.002), length of career (F=2.701, p=.033) and current position (F=5.423, p=.005). There were significant positive correlations for critical thinking disposition with clinical decision making, and with job satisfaction. Conclusions: The results of the study indicate that to improve clinical decision making and job satisfaction of cancer center nurses, it is necessary to increase critical thinking disposition. To make this change, appropriate programs are needed to increase critical thinking and clinical decision making of general cancer center nurses.
