We find the Hilbert function and the minimal free resolution of a star-configuration in $\mathbb{P}^n$. The conditions are provided under which the Hilbert function of a star-configuration in $\mathbb{P}^2$ is generic or non-generic We also prove that if $\mathbb{X}$ and $\mathbb{Y}$ are linear star-configurations in $\mathbb{P}^2$ of types t and s, respectively, with $s{\geq}t{\geq}3$, then the Artinian k-algebra $R/(I_{\mathbb{X}}+I_{\mathbb{Y})$ has the weak Lefschetz property.

With the increase in multi-cultural families, Korea is seeing a rapid increase in immigrated housewives, who are closely related to food culture. However, studies for the diet of multi-cultural families, which is most closely related to our lives have not been sufficiently researched. With this background, this study conducted research for immigrated women nationwide about food cultures to provide the possibility which Korean food culture would be developed harmoniously with various foreign food cultures. In this study, the immigrated women seemed to have adapted to Korean food culture quickly, but they showed differences according to some conditions like countries they are from and the time they have been in Korea. To achieve this, we need to conduct consistent and in depth studies for food cultures in multi-cultural families so that we can make healthy development in food culture, harmonious with traditional Korean culture.

This paper wants to suggest some issues on the acceptance of payment order in Electronic Funds Transfer of USA. The result can be summarized as fellows; First, originator's bank accepts a payment order when it executes the order. Secondly, beneficiary's bank accepts a payment order at the earliest of the following times: (1) when the bank pays the beneficiary as stated in Section 4A-405(a) or 4A-405(b), (2) when the bank notifies the beneficiary of receipt of the order or that the account of the beneficiary has been credited with respect to the order unless the notice indicates that the bank is rejecting the order or that funds with respect to the order may not be withdrawn or used until receipt of payment from of the order. (3) when the bank receives payment of the entire amount of the sender's order pursuant to Section 4A-403(a)(1) or 4A-403(a)(2). Lastly, the acceptance of a payment order cannot occur before the order is received by the receiving bank.

Phylogenetic analyses were carried out using four Indonesian native chicken breeds; Kampung, Bangkok, Pelung and Kedu. Gene frequencies of four blood group (A, B, D and E) and eight electrophoretic loci (akp, Akp-2, Es-1, Amy-1, Alb, Tf, Pas and Pa-1) were examined. Geographical and breed specific trends in the gene frequencies were not found in the local population of Kampung breed or in four native breeds. The values of average heterozygosity were estimated as 0.35-0.45. Genetic distances among the local populations of Kampung breed and other native breeds were comparatively small. In a cluster analysis, the Bangkok breed and Kampung E population showed distance from another cluster. The coefficient of gene differentiation for local populations of Kampung breed was estimated as 0.099.

The purpose of the present paper is towards working out a unified version of the study of certain weak forms of generalized open sets and their neighbouring forms, as are already available in the literature. In terms of an operation, as initiated by $\acute{A}$. Cs$\acute{a}$sz$\acute{a}$r, we introduce unified definitions of ${\wedge}_{\psi}$-sets, ${\vee}_{\psi}$-sets, $g{\cdot}{\wedge}_{\psi}$-sets and $g{\cdot}{\vee}_{\psi}$-sets and derive results concerning them.

The importance of Human Resource Management is big issue in business management recently. However, employ's job satisfaction is appeared as low. In this study, surveys were conducted among those long-term employs. The importance of job satisfaction is prioritized by AHP analysis based on results of survey to compare to the results of previously studied research. And this study will contribute to improvement of job satisfaction by comparing the facts in two different groups of occupation.

A new all-optical flip-flop (AOFF) method based on the absorption nulls of an injection-locked Fabry-Perot laser diode (FP-LD) in transverse magnetic (TM) mode is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. For the set and reset operations of the AOFF, injection locking and the destructive minus of beating in transverse electric (TE) mode are used. The absorption nulls on the TM mode are modulated according to the operations, and then non-inverted (Q) and inverted (${\bar{Q}}$) outputs can be obtained simultaneously. Thanks to the use of several absorption nulls, the proposed AOFF can achieve multiple outputs with extinction ratios of more than 15 dB. Even though the experiment is demonstrated at 100 Mbit/s, the results of previous experiments using the injection of a CW holding beam imply that the operation speed can increase to 10 Gbit/s.

We fabricated gas sensors using carbon nanotubes (CNTs) as electron emitters for the purpose of detecting inert gases. By using the silicon-glass anodic bonding and glass patterning technologies with the typical Si process, we improved the compactness of the sensors and the reliability in process. The proposed sensor, based on, an electrical discharge theory known as Paschen's law in principle, works by figuring the variation of the discharge current depending on gas concentration. In the experiment, the initial breakdown characteristics were measured for air and Ar as a function of gas pressure. As the result, even though it should be realized that there are many other factors which have an effect on the breakdown of a gap, the sensors led to similar result as predicted by Paschen's law, and they showed a possibility as gas sensors which enable to detect the gas density ranged to the vacuum pressure from 1 to $10^{-3}$ Torr.
