  • According of the development and spread of CAD/CAM, a number of prostheses we have done had been replaced. Dental technicians have a difficulty reproducing natural color when producing these zirconia crowns. Difficulty reproducing natural color when producing these zirconia crowns. In my case, in the beginning of experimenting with zirconia, I had a hard time dealing with zirconia and I have tried solve these problems. Therefore, I would like to share Ko's coloring technique made of my effort with you.

A VELOCITY STRUCTURE ANALYSIS OF GIANT MOLECULAR CLOUD ASSOCIATED WITH HII REGION S152 (HII 영역 S152에 접해 있는 거대 분자운의 속도 구조 분석)

  • S152 is a small bright emission nebula located in the Perseus arm. Its optical diameter corresponds to 1.5 pc for an adopted distance 3.5 kpc. However, S152 is a part of a giant molecular cloud complex, which consists of several dense cores, containing active star-forming sites, and well aligned arm-like features. We analyzed the FCRAO $^{12}CO(J=\;1{\to}0)$ Outer Galaxy Survey data in this region to study the kinematical structure of this region, which resembles a big "scorpion". We found that there exist three different velocity components, about -54.5, -50.4, -48.8 km $s^{-1}$, depending on the position of the "scorpion". There also exist velocity gradients of 0.21 km $s^{-1}pc^{-1}$ and 0.16 km $s^{-1}pc^{-1}$ through the whole extent of the "scorpion". Interestingly, these two velocity gradients show an opposite direction with each other. It is likely that the velocity structure of this region may result from the mergence of different gas clouds, and the interaction with the SNR 109.1-1.0 occurred later, mostly at the region around the "head of the scorpion" only.

  • The separation of scintillation phenomena concurrent with rain attenuation phenomena can be accomplished by filtering. Based on the analysis of satellite signal fading during rain, scintillation and rain attenuation phenomena are examined and extracting from raw data by using adaptive IIR high-pass filter and adaptive IIR low-pass filter. Adaptive IIR filter are designed by using the algorithm of Least Mean p-Power (LMP) Error Criterion which have been modified by Quantizing Gradient technique.   • With the realization that the police's personal information gathering activities can violate the authority to decide one's information guaranteed by the Constitution, many people are interested in the legal terms of the police's information gathering and handling. The police's personal information gathering activities imply both the purpose of public welfare and order and the risk of violation of basic rights of citizens, their effective balance is critical. In this respect, this study reviews the principle of proportion as a principle of control of personal information gathering and handling (police intelligence activities) by state to discuss its implications on legislation.

Analysis of the Regional Inequalities of Renewable Energy Resources using Gini's Coefficients (지니계수를 이용한 시군구별 신재생에너지 자원의 불균등성 분석)

  • Most of countries are trying to increase the supply of renewable energy as the substitute of the fossil energy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. However, renewable energy sources account for only about 3.86% of the total Korea primary energy supply. To increase the rate of renewable energy in Korea's energy consumption, various policies for expanding the use of renewable energy should be applied. Also these policies should be consider renewable energy resources distribution and regional inequality. In this study, the potentials of photovoltaic, wind power and bioenergy from rice straw, livestock waste and food waste are calculated and the distribution characteristic and regional inequalities are analyzed using Gini's coefficient and Gini decomposition method. As the results, technical potentials of photovoltaic and wind power of city region(Gu) has more potential rate than theoretical potentials. Livestock waste has the most unequal distribution (Gini's coefficient: 0.617) among renewable resources.

High Concentrated Spore Production of Bacillus thuringliensis by Fed-Batch Processes (유가식 배양공정에 의한 Bacillus thurngiensis의 고농도 포자생산)

  • Both the production of high spore concentration and high insecticidal activity are required in the production of Bacillus thuringiensis to be used for the bacterial insecticide. In the production of high cell and spore concentrations of B. thuringiensis the continuous fed-batch culture(CFBC) and intermittent fed-batch culture(IFBC) were investigated at $28^{\circ}C$ by maintaining 40% dissolved oxygen concentration. When the final glucose concentration was 50 g/L the maximum viable cell number obtained using the CFBC with linear gradient feeding was $9.37{\times}109$ cells/mL and maximum spore concentration was $8.33{\times}109$ spores/mL which was approximately 84.4% yield of spore formation. When the final glucose concentration was 100 g/L the aximum viable cell and spore concentrations obtained using the IFBC with pH-statb were $1.38{\times}$1010 cells/mL and $1.35{\times}1010$ spores/mL respectively and the yield of spore formation was approximately 97.8%.
