Due to the lack of a system that can detect/identify and strike North Korea's small unmanned aerial vehicles, no immediate response was made. In order to solve the problem of response, we should prepare for threats by developing weapons systems that can be immediately hit when identifying small-sized unmanned aerial vehicle detection radar and creating specialized research organizations for research and development of equipment.

This study evaluates the performance of an optical sensor and measurement system (CMA-24) which can analyze the fluctuation of dissolved oxygen and pH simultaneously. In the optical sensor system, the fluorescent materials, Rudpp and HPTS which are sensitive to dissolved oxygen and pH, respectively, are coated on the bottom of a 24-well -plate by the sol-gel technology. The detection times of the emission light of the oxygen sensor were $4,186{\pm}13.90{\mu}s$ and $4,452{\pm}36.68{\mu}s$ for the dissolved oxygen of 17% $O_2$ and 7.6% $O_2$, respectively. On the other hand, the detection times of the pH sensor were $6,699.43{\pm}14.64{\mu}s$, $6,722.24{\pm}6.21{\mu}s$, and $6,748.52{\pm}2.63{\mu}s$ using pH 6, 7, and 8, respectively. When we determined cellular respiration levels of C2C12 myocytes with CMA-24, $O_2$/pH measurement system, the ratio of the uncoupled to coupled OCR (oxygen consumption rate) was 1.41. The results mean that this CMA-24 system shows almost the same sensitiveness as the commercial system.
Laboratory workers, in resource-poor countries, still consider PCR detection of Giardia lamblia more costly and more time-consuming than the classical parasitological techniques. Based on 2 published primers, an in-house one-round touchdown PCR-RFLP assay was developed. The assay was validated with an internal amplification control included in reactions. Performance of the assay was assessed with DNA samples of various purities, 91 control fecal samples with various parasite load, and 472 samples of unknown results. Two cysts per reaction were enough for PCR detection by the assay with exhibited specificity (Sp) and sensitivity (Se) of 100% and 93%, respectively. Taking a published small subunit rRNA reference PCR test results (6%; 29/472) as a nominated gold standard, G. lamblia was identified in 5.9% (28/472), 5.2%, (25/472), and 3.6% (17/472) by PCR assay, $RIDA^{(R)}$ Quick Giardia antigen detection test (R-Biopharm, Darmstadt, Germany), and iodine-stained smear microscopy, respectively. The percent agreements (kappa values) of 99.7% (0.745), 98.9% (0.900), and 97.7% (0.981) were exhibited between the assay results and that of the reference PCR, immunoassay, and microscopy, respectively. Restriction digestion of the 28 Giardia-positive samples revealed genotype A pattern in 12 and genotype B profile in 16 samples. The PCR assay with the described format and exhibited performance has a great potential to be adopted in basic clinical laboratories as a detection tool for G. lamblia especially in asymptomatic infections. This potential is increased more in particular situations where identification of the parasite genotype represents a major requirement as in epidemiological studies and infection outbreaks.
To develop a selective medium for the isolation and the detection of leuconostocs from the various samples including fermented vegetables, ten strains of leuconostocs and seven strains of lactobacilli were tested for their sensitivity to various antibiotics. The basal-medium containing 5 ${\mu}g/ml$ of novobiocin inhibited the growth of lactobacilli completely, but not that of leuconostocs. On the basis of this result, a new selective medium was developed and to be named NLS medium. This medium contains 1% Tryptone (Difco), 0.1% Yeast Extract (Difco), 2% sucrose, 0.1% Beef Extract (BBL), 0.5% sodium acetate, 0.2% ammonium sulfate, 0.01% magnesium sulfate, 0.2% dipotassium phosphate, 0.05% sorbic acid, 75 ppm sodium azide (Sigma), 0.1% (vol/vol) Tween 80, 30 ${\mu}g/ml$ of Vancomycin (Sigma), 5${\mu}g/ml$ of Novobiocin (Sigma), 0.5${\mu}g/ml$ of cysteine HCI, and 1.5% Agar (Difco). All of the eighty six isolates obtained from some foodstuffs were identified as members of the genus Leuconostoc. Comparative counts with the MRS, PES, LUSM, and NLS medium indicated that the recovery percent was lower than other selective media. Therefore, this result suggested that NLS medium was suitable for the isolation of leuconostocs, but not for counting or enumerating.
The brominated flame retardants (BFRs) are one of the unregulated pollutants in Korea, which is recently highlighted the new pollutants of environmental contamination. In this study, the previous research papers related the BFRs were surveyed, and the analytical methods of BFRs were established. The results are followed; The 40 kinds of PBDEs standards were used to establish the analytical methods to perform the experiments of recoveries and detection limits in water and soil. The detection limits of PBDEs using GC/MS represented 5.0~10.0 pg/L for water and 0.5~2.0 ng/g for soil samples. The average recoveries of water samples were 89~98% with ethylacetate, n-hexane and dichloromethane, and 89~103% in combined solvent with n-hexane and acetone. In soxhlet extraction, the higher recoveries obtained the acetone:n-hexane(1:1) comparing with acetone:dichloromethane(1:1).
The growth of incidents on the Internet has reflected growth of the internet itself and growth of the computing Power. while in Previous years, external attacks tended to originate from those interested trend in exploring the Internet for its own sake and testing their skills, there is an increasing trend towards intrusions motivated by financial, Political, and military objectives. so, attacks on the nation's computer infrastructures are becoming an increasingly serious problem. Even though the problem is ubiquitious, government agencies are particularly appealing targets and they tend to be more willing to reveal such events than commercial organizations. The threat of damage made necessity of security's recognition, as a result, many researches have been carried out into security of system actively. Intrusion Detection technology is detection of intrusion using audit data differently from using traditional simple filtering and informs manager of it. It has security manager of system deal with the intrusion more quickly. but, cause current environment of Internet manager can't doing response Intrusion alert immediately That's why IPS needed. IPS can response automatically the intrusion alert. so, manager is more comfortable and can response quickly.
An ultrasonic technique using normal-incident compressional waves was used to evaluate the surface and subsurface damage in ceramics produced by Hertzian indentation. Damage was produced by a blunt indenter (tungsten carbide ball) in glass-ceramic, green glass and silicon nitride. The damage was classified into two types; (1) Hertzian cone crack, in green glass and fine grain silicon nitride, and (2) distributed subsurface micro fractures, without surface damage, produced in glass ceramic. The ultrasonic technique was successful in detecting cone craks. The measurement results with the Hertzian cone cracks indicated that cracks perpendicular to the surface could be detected by the normal-incident compressional waws. Also shown is the capability of normal-incident compressional waves in detection distributed micro-sized cracks size of subsurface microfractures.
A simplified but reliable method was developed for the polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based detection of genetically modified (GM) plants. The modified CTAB (mCTAB) method enabled us to prepare a high quality of genomic DNA from several hundred plant leaf samples in one day. Using DNA samples prepared from seven dicots and two monocots, approximately 1.75-kb regions spanning 17 S to 25 S ribosomal RNA genes were successfully amplified in a 2X PCR pre-mix containing BLOTTO. Further fidelity assessment of the mCTAB method by PCR analysis with Roundup Ready soybean (RRS) and non-RRS plants showed that the DNA samples prepared alternately from each of two lines were evidently free of cross-contamination. These results demonstrate that the mCTAB method is highly recommended for the rapid detection of transgenes in large numbers of leaf samples from diverse transgenic plants.

Long-lived flowed termed as elephant flows in data center networks have a tendency to consume a lot of bandwidth, leaving delay-sensitive short-lived flows referred to as mice flows choked behind them. This results in non-trivial delays for mice flows, eventually degrading application performance running on the network. Therefore, a datacenter network should be able to classify, detect, and visualize elephant flows as well as provide QoS guarantees in real-time. In this paper we aim to focus on: 1) a proposed framework for real-time detection and visualization of elephant flows in SDN using sFlow. This allows to examine elephant flows traversing a switch by double-clicking the switch node in the topology visualization UI; 2) an approach to guarantee QoS that is defined and administered by a SDN controller and specifications offered by OpenFlow. In the scope of this paper, we will focus on the use of rate-limiting (traffic-shaping) classification technique within an SDN network.
The measure of motor speed using encoder is difficult to detect accurate speed and direction in very low speed because the intervals between an encoder pulse and pulse are long. So various speed estimation techniques were proposed to have the good dynamic performance in low speed. And direction detection is so important as speed measurement in very low speed. But because the conventional direction detection circuit check the direction only 1 time in 1 period of each encoder pulses, so it has long delayed detection time in very low speed, thus accurate detection of direction is difficult. In this paper, we propose a 2 way edge detection method which can detect at the rising and filling edge of each encoder pulses. So it can check the direction 4 times in 1 period of each encoder pulses. Therefore if we use proposed method, we can reduce the detection time as 1/4 than that of conventional circuit and can detect more accurate speed and direction. And computer simulation and experiment is performed to verify the perfomance and effect of proposed circuit and we analyze it's results by comparing with that of conventional circuit.
