A decoupling controller design for the seeker scan loop with a spin-stabilized platform (자전 안정화형 탐색기 주사루프의 비연성 제어기 설계)

  • This paper presents a decoupling controller of the missile seeker scan loop with a spin-stabilized platform. A precise seeker motion with respect to the scan command is essential for the higher acquisition probability of the target. As the seeker scan loop is a deeply cross-coupled two input two output system, an accurate pointing or scanning for each axis to the target is very difficult, even though provided with the help of a high performance controller. When a decoupling control is applied to the seeker scan loop, the cross-coupling between two axes can be reduced to a remarkable amount. As a low order of controller is required for the real time operation, a PI controller with decoupling filter is suggested and compared with other controllers. A linearized dynamic model of seeker scan loop is used and validated through the comparison of experimental results of step responses.

Current Mode Integrated Control Technique for Z-Source Inverter Fed Induction Motor Drives

  • This paper presents a current mode integrated control technique (CM-ICT) using a modified voltage space vector modulation (MSVM) for Z-source inverter (ZSI) fed induction motor drives. MSVM provides a better DC voltage boost in the dc-link, a wide range of AC output voltage controllability and a better line harmonic profile. In a voltage mode ICT (VM-ICT), the outer voltage feedback loop alone is designed and it enforces the desired line voltage to the motor drive. An integrated control technique (ICT), with an inner current feedback loop is proposed in this paper for the purpose of line current limiting and soft operation of the drive. The current command generated by the PI controller and limiter in the outer voltage feedback loop, is compared with the actual line current, and the error is processed through the PI controller and a limiter. This limiter ensures that, the voltage control signal to the Z-source inverter is constrained to a safe level. The rise and fall of the control signal voltage are made to be gradual, so as to protect the induction motor drive and the Z-source inverter from transients. The single stage controller arrangement of the proposed CM-ICT offers easier compensation. Analysis, Matlab/Simulink simulations, and experimental results have been presented to validate the proposed technique.

  • In this paper, we describe a design procedure for cascade controller for induction motor drives based on Genetic Algorithms(GAs). Most electric drives have two separate controllers for current and speed control, which are in general designed in two consecutive steps(firstly the current controller and then the speed controller). We search simultaneously for the couple of discrete anti-windup controllers achieving the optimal compromise of weighted cost and performance indices related to both current and speed responses.

  • This paper describes a method of approximate reasoning for fuzzy control of servo system, based on decomposition of -level fuzzy sets. It is propose that logic circuits for fuzzy PI+PD are a body from fuzzy inference to defuzzificaion in cases where the output variable u directly is generated PWM. The effectiveness for robust and faster response of the fuzzy control scheme is verified for a variable parameter by comparison with a PID control and fuzzy control. A position control of DC servo system with a fuzzy logic controller successfully demonstrated.

  • In this paper, we applied step motor drive using a fuzzy logic control based on PID controller. A designed this controller's purpose is improved robust and autonomous characteristic in which the variation of external load affects plant parameter. Therefore, in this paper, using a fuzzy logic control based on PID controller of two fuzzy-PI and fuzzy-D is obtained decremental overshoot and a special response quality.

  • With people's continuous research and exploration in the field of artificial intelligence, more relatively mature artificial intelligence technology is applied in people's daily life. Mirrors are the most commonly used daily necessities in life, and it should be applied to artificial intelligence. The research results of this paper show that the smart mirror designed based on the raspberry pi displays weather, temperature, greetings, and has a human-mirror interaction function. The research method of this paper uses the Raspberry pi 3B + as the core controller and Google Assistant as the intelligent control. When connected to the network via Raspberry Pi's own WiFi, the mirror can automatically display and update time, weather and news information features. You can wake up the Google Assistant using keywords, then control the mirror to play music, remind the time, It implements the function of smart mirror voice interaction. Also, all the hardware used in this study is modular assembly. Later, it is convenient for user to assemble by himself later. It is suitable for market promotion at an affordable price.

  • The practical control problems for the lime-delay system is considered. The delay-free characteristics of the Smith Predictor is available only when both the process and it's model are exactly matched. So it does not used widely in practical industrial processes. In this paper, using the 2nd-order plus dead time model in place of the plant model of the Smith Predictor, the proposed controller shows the improved performance in case of the very long time delay. And the range of integral constant of the PI controller is also proposed.

  • NREL(National Renewable Energy Laboratory) Baseline controller conduct using method proposed RISO National Laboratory in Region 3. which designed the blade-pitch control system using a single degree-of-freedom model of the wind turbine. Idealized PID-Controlled rotor-speed error will respond as a second-order system with the natural frequency and damping ratio. RISO proposed specific natural frequency(=0.6 rad/s) and damping ratio(=0.7). If specific Eigen value apply to NREL 5 MW wind turbine, differ with pitch respond for simulation results of RISO report. Variation of specific eigen value investigate performance of NREL 5 MW wind turbine.

  • In vector control of induction motor, to improve stability of system generated by load and disturbance have used the speed controller, however this regulator is unquestionably the most common PI controller. If it is tuned, it's performance become sactisfactory. In spite of this, in system requiring more complete control algorithms, the ability of controller is losed totally. Therefore, in this system, it is requiring to tune controller and to design more complex regulator. It may also be costly and time consuming to tune such regulator. This paper proposes in vector control that implement more complete speed control using adaptive IP controller.

  • In the two-mass system driving a load through a flexible shaft or transmission system, a shaft torsional vibration is often generated. In this case, it's difficult to control only by conventional PI controller. To solve this problem. the two-mass speed control system with PID controller is designed by using pole assignment method, and an optimum PID parameters are derived by evaluating ITAE(Integral of time multiplied by the absolute error) performance index. Simulation results show the validity of the proposed PID controller and this controller is compared with the conventional PID controller.
