Microstrip antennas have many applications in wireless communication system. This paper propose a analytical far-field pattern of radiation for application of the wireless communication. The triangular slot antenna fed by micorstrip line is proposed at resonance frequency 10 GHz. The simulation results of the electromagnetic field radiation pattern, S parameter, characteristic of input impedance are obtain by using the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method. The analytical space in FDTD analysis are $50{\times}171{\times}120$ cells with the cell dimension ${\Delta}x=0.152\;mm$, ${\Delta}y={\Delta}z=0.15\;mm$.

Microstructural features and their related mechanical property changes in the 309L cladding and the heat affected zone (HAZ) of SA508 cl.3 steel were investigated through the use of TEM, tensile and small punch (SP) tests. The specimens were irradiated at 563 K up to the neutron fluences of $5.79{\times}10^{19}n/cm^2$ (>1MeV). The microstructure of the clad was mainly composed of a fcc ${\gamma}-phase$, a low percentage of bcc ${\delta}-ferrite$, and a brittle ${\sigma}-phase$. Along the weld fusion line there formed a heavy carbide precipitation with a width of $20{\sim}40{\mu}m$, showing preferential cracking during plastic deformation. The yield stress and ductile-to-brittle transition temperature (DBTT) of the irradiated clads increased. The origin of the hardening and the shift of the DBTT are discussed in terms of the irradiation-produced defect clusters of a fine size and brittle ${\sigma}-phase$.

We propose a novel n-type a-Si:H TFT pixel circuit which is proper to AMOLED display for the large size and high resolution. Proposed pixel circuit will be suit to panel for the high resolution because of different threshold sampling method. Driving method of proposed pixel circuit is very simple like an AMLCD. Our simulation indicates that the proposed pixel circuit can compensate the Vth shift and IR rising of power line so that provide better quality image.

The occurrence of fires under transmission lines is responsible for a great number of power line outages. In this paper, the ac flashover voltages and the corona onset voltages of a needle-plane electrode gap of vertical arrangement in the presence of flame were investigated. We also observed the corona discharge current and variation of shapes in flame with increasing the applied voltages. We found that the corona onset voltages and the flashover voltages were drastically decreased with the position of flames and gap length of electrodes, and observed that the deflection or fluctuation phenomena in the shape of flames.

Generalized order statistics (gos) introduced by Kamps [8] as a unified approach to several models of order random variables (rv's), e.g., (ordinary) order statistics (oos), records, sequential order statistics (sos). In a wide subclass of gos, included oos and sos, the possible limit distribution functions (df's) of the maximum gos are obtained in Nasri-Roudsari [10]. In this paper, for this subclass, as the df of the suitably normalized extreme gos converges on an interval [c, d] to one of possible limit df's of the extreme gos, the continuation of this (weak) convergence on the whole real line to this limit df is proved.

In this paper, 10$\mu$ m-elevated MEMS CPWs on various substrates are presented. Effective dielectric constants of elevated CPW(ECPW) on polyimide-loaded silicon or alumina substrate are examined and characteristic impedances are also computed versus elevation height. Dispersive property of ECPW and its electromagnetic field distributions are studied through 3-D FDTD algorithm for optimum design. Attenuation of ECPW is measured with TRL calibration procedure and revealed about 3.2 43 lower than that of conventional CPW on the same low-resistivity silicon at 40 CHz. ECPW on polyimide-loaded silicon with overlapped configuration reveals 0.2 dB/mm. Especially, alumina substrate imposes better attenuation than silicon.

We present results of a new high-resolution spectroscopic study of the RS CVn-type binary system EI Eridani (HD26337). We used high S/N ratio LSD profiles to measure a new RV orbit of the primary component and new orbital parameters. We found evidence of strong spectral line profile variations at time intervals indicating the existence of short-lived (few days) spots on the surface of the primary component. We measured a projected rotation velocity of star of 53.2 km/s.

In order to development of diagnosis system for mold transformer, partial discharge measurement technique is recommended the best effective method for the evaluation of insulation condition on high voltage winding part. However, this technique was not applied to mold transformer yet. The purpose of this paper is to describe the method of partial discharge measurement for mold transformer with coupling sensor and measuring system. As we reviewed and developed the on-line partial discharge test technique, ceramic coupling sensor, measuring system, terminal box and index parameters.

Owing to the limits of IT System-driven knowledge management(KM) for innovation processes, alternative KM methods has been suggested such as: (1) the knowledge network of experts or (2) communities-of-practice. This study analyzes two cases in terms of on-line expert knowledge networks for problem-solving, with the dimensions of analysis based on a theoretical framework. By analyzing the cases of S company's expert network and Naver's Ji-sik-iN, we found that system quality(e.g., ease of use, accessibility, and searching function), information/knowledge quality(e.g., usefulness, accuracy, and timeliness), knowledge-sharing culture, social capital and relevant reward systems are important for stimulating a Q&A-based problem-solving knowledge network. Implications of the findings and future research directions are discussed.

최근의 전력선통신(PLC: Power Line Communication)은 협대역인 450KHz에서 광대역인 30MHz로 확대되어 고속의 데이터 전송이 가능하게 되었다[1]. 본 논문에서는 광대역 채널특성과 더불어 고속의 데이터 전송까지 가능하도록 하기 위해 새로운M-ary SS(spread spectrum) 기반의 고속 전력선통신시스템을 제시하고 임펄스잡음과 같은 전력선 채널환경 하에서의 BER(Bite Error Rate)특성에 대한 모의실험을 거쳐서 제안 방식의 유용성을 확인하였다
