Blood and Serum Chemical Values on Deer Bred in Taegu Dalseung Park (사슴의 혈액 및 혈액화학치에 관한 연구)

  • The study was conducted to determine normal blood and serum chemical values on deer. Normal blood and serum chemical values were studied in 8 healthy deers bred at Dalseung Park in Taegu. The values were analyzed with a blood chemical analyzer and calculated by Chawen's statistical analysis. The blood values of RBC, WBC and PCV were $9.73{\pm}1.19{\times} 10^{6}/{\mu}l, 3.37{\pm}0.88{\times}10^{3}/{\mu}l, 47.25{\pm}4.65 % respectively. The serum chemical value were: GOT; 83.0{\pm}39.4 IU/L, GPT; 50.12{\pm}25.83 IU/L, BUN; 36.63{\pm}8.70 mg/dl. CPK ; 1,296{\pm}495 IU/L, ALP; 238{\pm}54 IU/L, glucose; 143{\pm}52 mg/dl, total protein; 6.95{\pm}0.61 g/dl, amylase ; 116.0{\pm}34.5 IU/L,$ respectively. These values will be clinically helpful to diagnose the disease of deer.

Effects of Blended Chinese Traditional Medicine, Ssang Wha Tang, on Hepatic Clearance of Sulfobromophthalein in Rats (쌍화탕이 슬포브로모프탈레인의 간클리어란스에 미치는 영향)

  • Effects of Ssang Wha Tang (SWT), a blended Chinese traditional medicine, on the pharmacokinetics of sulfobromophthalein (BSP) were studied in the rats. BSP was administered via portal vein to the control and the SWT-treated rats. The in vitro distribution of BSP to blood cells and the hemato-physiological conditions, liver weight, GOT. GPT activity were also examined. The systemic clearance $(CL_s)$ of BSP was increased with the administration of SWT, but no significant differences were observed in the liver weight and in vitro distribution of BSP to blood cells. These results suggest that the intrinsic clearance of free BSP of the liver is increased with the administration of SWT in the rats.

Analgesic and Antipyretic Effects of Acupucture in Ruminant (반추동물에 있어서 침술의 진통 및 해열효과)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the analgesic and antipyretic effects of acupuncture in goat suffered from pain and fever induced experimentally : electroacupuncture and laser acupuncture for the relief of pain and traditional needing for the of fever. Pain was induced by intraperitoneal injection of 0.7% acetic acid solution and it's extent was estimated with the number of writhing syndrom as indicator of pain. When lipopolysaccharide was given into the vein in goat, fever with biphasic type was produced. In the goats with pain the superior analgesic effects of electroacupuncture to aminopyrine and sulpyrine were found, but the effects of laser acupuncture were not satisfactory. The high body temperature of goats was gradually decreased with the lapse of time following traditional needling(venesection by needle) and showed a tendency to return to normal body temperature. Serum GOT, GPT:, BUN, creatinine values and acetylcholinesterase activity following electroacupuncture were not altered. It is considered that electroacupuncture combined with medicament can sucure exellent analgesic and antipyretic effects in animal practice.

  • 6.6KV 고전압 위험으로 접지계기용변압기(GPT)와 영상변류기(ZCT)의 2차측에 전압 전류 시험 유입방식으로는 해당 지락보호계전기의 정.부동작이 정확한지 검증이 되지 않아 안전사고 발생의 우려성이 존재하고 있었으며, 이의 해결을 위하여 6.6KV 고압측에 인공지락시험을 통하여 국내외 일부 계전기의 동작 전압 전류 극성이 사양과 상이한 것을 발견하여 실계통에 합당하도록 시정함과 동시에 감전시 인체 저항을 감안한 지락보호계전기(OVGR, SGR) 정정값을 도출하여 인명을 보호하게 하기 위한 지락보호계전 시스템에 대한 연구이다.

Effect of Prunus mume Extract on Gastric Secretion in Rats and Carbon Tetrachloride Induced Liver Damage of Rabbits (매실추출물이 흰쥐의 위액분비 및 사염화탄소로 유발시킨 가토의 간장장애에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study is to investigate effects of Prunus mume extract on gastric secretion in rats and experimentally carbon tetrachloride-induced liver damage of rabbits. The groups of Prunus mume extract showed excellent increasing effect in total acidity and peptic activity and decreasing effect on gastric volume than the control group whereas clear differences were not found between sample adminstered group and control group in gastric pH. In liver function test Prunus mume extract exhibited rapid recuperation of liver function that is sGPT activity showed an apparant decreasing effect from the 6th day total cholesterol and alkaline phosphatase level from the 10th day respectively compared to the control group in carbon tetrachloride-intoxicated rabbits. It is, is suggested that Pruns mume extract can be used as the stomachics to promote the gastric digestion by increasing the peptic activity and health food to shorten the recovery time from liver diseases.

  • Alloxan is a diabetogenic agent which destroys the beta-cell of the Langerhan's islet of pancreas and it disturbs the secretion of insulin. It is known that alloxan interfers with the hepatic enzyme activity and some aspect of the other metabolism. The author attempted to investigate the influence of reserpine upon the serum transaminase activity, blood sugar and serum total cholesterol contents of rabbit treated alloxan. The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1. The serum GOT and GPT activity of alloxanized rabbit pretreated with reserpine showed marked decrease compared with alloxan control group. 2. The blood sugar level of alloxanized rabbit pretreated with reserpine showed lower than the alloxan control group. 3. The total cholesterol level of alloxanized rabbit pretreated with reserpine was lower than that of alloxan control group.

  • Ketoconazole is an imidazole antifungal agent which inhibits the biosynthesis of fungal cellmembrane ergosterol and has immunosuppressive properties in vitro. Biphenyl dimethyl dicarboxylate (PMC) has been utilized for antioxidative action and for liver-protective purposes. Studies were undertaken to investigate effects of biphenyl dimethyl dicarboxylate (PMC) on the immunosuppression of ketoconazole in ICR mice. In the combination of PMC and ketoconazole, as compared with the treatment of ketoconazole alone, there were significant increases in activities of natural killer (NK) cells and phagocytes along with circulation leukocytes. The elevation of serum glutamic-pyruvic transaminase (S-GPT) and total protein levels caused by ketoconazole were reduced by the combination of PMC and ketoconazole. In addition, lower serum albumin and albumin/globulin (A/G) ratio were also increased to normal level.

Protective Effect of Brazilin on Cisplatin Nephrotoxicity

  • Cisplatin is one of the most effective antitumor agents currently available for cancer therapy. However, its clinical use has been limited by its severe side effects, especially nephrotoxicity. Therefore, brazilin, which has a radical scavenging effect, was given intraperitoneally to evaluate the effect on cisplatin nephrotoxicity in rats. Remarkable protective effects against nephrotoxicity of cisplatin were observed when brazilin was administered to rats simultaneously with cisplatin. Hepatotoxicity induced by combination treatment of cisplatin and brazilin was evaluated by measuring serum glutamic pyruvate transaminase and serum glutamic oxalate transaminase. Combination treatment did not affect the levels of sGPT and SGOT, and any combination treatment did not induce metallothionein in kidney. Brazilin which has radical scavenging effect directly reduced nephrotoxicity of wisplatin in vivo. Thus, it seems that nephrotoxicity of cisplatin was caused by free radicals. The present results Indicate that brazilin, when it is given with cisplatin, may provide protection against cisplatin nephrotoxicity in rats.

  • 최근 ChatGPT, 코딩교육, 디지털교과서 등의 새로운 용어와 산물들이 전국 단위 언론사를 통해, 교육 전문가(교사 등)와 일반 국민들에게 어떤 형태의 보도가 진행되는지 확인하는 것이 중요한 연구 출발점이다. 본 연구는 오늘날 학교교육, 교육방법(매체론) 등에 큰 변화를 줄 '인공지능'에 대한 전국 단위 언론사(일간지-11개사, 방송사-5개사)의 최근(2020-2023년) 보도형태를 분석하고 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 2020년 1월부터 2023년 5월까지(3년 5개월간) 총 16개 언론사(일간지와 방송사)에서 보도한 '인공지능'와 '학교' 용어가 모두 포함된 관련 뉴스 기사들을 분석하였다. 분석대상 뉴스 빅데이터들을 대상으로 연도별 보도기사 건수 분석, 키워드 트렌드 분석, 연관어 분석(워드클라우드 제시) 등을 진행하였다.

  • 본 프로젝트는 Azure OpenAI Service (large language models and generative AI) 를 이용하여 IT 기술 및 현황을 생성형 AI (GPT-4)를 활용한 IT 카드 뉴스 서비스로서 업계 현직자들에게 정보를 제공하는 시스템을 구현하였다. IT 카드 뉴스 서비스의 부재와 뉴스 제작의 비용 및 시간 소요의 문제를 해결하기 위해 생성형 AI 시스템을 고안하였다. 해당 서비스를 통해 IT 업계에 관심이 많은 사용자에게 정리된 뉴스를 한 번에 제공하는 효과를 가져올 것으로 예상한다.
