Phylogenetic and phylogeographic analyses of Anisakis simplex sensu stricto (Nematoda: Anisakidae) from the common minke whale in Korean waters

  • The genus Anisakis is among the most significant parasites to public health, as it causes anisakiasis, a parasitic infection in humans resulting from consuming raw or undercooked seafood. Although the infection status of Anisakis in second intermediate hosts, such as marine fishes and cephalopods, and humans have been severally reported in Korea, no information about the definitive host in Korean waters is available. In 2014, 2 adult gastric nematodes were collected from a common minke whale (Balaenoptera acutorostrata) found in the East Sea, Korea. These worms were identified as A. simplex sensu stricto (s.s.) by comparing the mitochondrial COX2 marker with previously deposited sequences. Phylogenetic and phylogeographic analyses of A. simplex (s.s.) worldwide revealed 2 distinct populations: the Pacific population and the European waters population. This is the first report on adult Anisakis and its definitive host species in Korea. Further studies on Anisakis infection in other cetacean species and marine mammals in Korean seas are warranted.

『강평상한론(康平傷寒論)』 맥(脉)에 관한 고찰: 임상 증례 분석 및 고문자학적 해석을 통하여 (A Conceptual Study of "Mai (脉)" in Gangpyeong-Shanghanlun Based on Comparative case analysis and Paleography)

  • Objective : The objective of this study was to explore the meaning of Mai (脉) in the fifteen letters provisions of Gangpyeong-Shanghanlun through the comparative analysis of 10 cases and paleography. Methods : We have collected 10 cases that have been diagnosed and treated by Gangpyeong-Shanghanlun Mai (脉) provision. And then, comparative analysis has been done among those 10 cases. Based on result of case analysis, paleographic meaning of each Mai (脉) have been studied to redefine Gangpyeong-Shanghanlun Mai (脉)'s meaning. Results : After administration of Mai (脉) provision's herbal medicine, all 10 patients recovered their mobility problem and pain. From this result, we could fomulate the hypothesis that Mai (脉) in Gangpyeong-Shanghanlun could mean mobility problems. After through further paleography studies, we could elaborate each Mai (脉)'s clinical meaning and related diseases. Conclusions : Mai (脉) in Gangpyeong-Shanghanlun could mean mobility problems caused by various diseases, which include musculoskeletal pain, neuropathy, syncope, fatigue, developmental disability and major depressive disorder.

  • In order to care about preserving the environment for future generations, each country has been required to make the laws of the environment. So car manufacturers must design, manufacture and sell cars and trucks that meet customer's need and must do this while meeting the needs of the environment. In this research we have developed product structure and configuration management system that treats electronic catalogs for recycling of automobile parts. This research focused on two system. One is XML-based electronic catalog that give the information about recycling of automobile parts. The other is product structure and configuration management system based on electronic catalog.

  • 모바일을 통한 커뮤니케이션은 우리 생활에 밀접하게 관련되어 있고, 없어서는 안될 부분이다. 이 현상은 웹을 가진 인터넷보다도 더 중요한 삶의 부분이 되었으며, 미래까지도 계속적으로 아주 빠르게 중요성을 더욱 커질 것이다. 우리는 인간과 인간의 커뮤니케이션을 넘어, 존재하는 모든 사물들과 커뮤니케이션을 원하고 있다. 자연스럽게 "Internet of Things"의 시대로 우리는 나아갈 것이고, 인간과 사물, 사물과 사물간의 커뮤니케이션 발전 정도에 비례하여 유비쿼터스 세상이 얼마나 빠르게 도래되는지 결정될 것이다. 인간과 사물과의 단순한 커뮤니케이션은 우리가 의도적으로 목적을 가지고 사물과의 커뮤니케이션을 원할 때만 가능한 것이다. 하지만, Internet of Things의 사회가 도래도면 우리가 관여하지 않아도 사물들간의 커뮤니케이션을 자율적으로 유지되고 지속적으로 연결되어 있어야만 한다. 이를 위하여 각 사물은 다른 사물들과의 구별, 차이를 가지기 위해 자신만의 고유한 성질인 메타데이터를 가지고 있어야 하고, "Spime" 개념을 이용하여 이를 구체화하고 이해관계를 설명할 수 있을 것이다.

INTERBUSs를 이용한 모델 플랜트의 구동 소프트웨어의 개발 (Development of an Operating Software for a Model Plant using INTERBUSs)

  • This study develops and operating software for a model plant. The model plant consists of an AS/RS system, two machining centers, an assembly line, and supplementary material handling equipments. Devices of each component are connected with the IBS RT24 DIO 16/16-T I/O module. Each I/O module communicates digital signals with the INTERBUS controller board via SUB-D 9 Connector cable. This study is a previous stage for developing an educational CIM software. Petri Nets is used for modelling the storage/retrieval of the AS/RS system, the flow of workpieces and the assembly line for parts. The operating software is coded with Microsoft Visual $C^{++}$ 5.0 and Interbus Library which is a software driver for the controller board. The operating software can be run on a MS Windows 95. Microsoft Access is used for the implementation of databases for BOM, AS/RS, and parts.

회전체 결함 진단을 위한 특징 파라미터 분석 (Feature Parameter Analysis for Rotor Fault Diagnosis)

  • Rotor of rotating machinery is the highly damaged part. Fault of 7 different types was confirmed as the main causes of rotor damage from the pump failure history data in domestic and U.S. nuclear. For each fault types, simulation testing was performed and fault signals were collected form the sensors. To calculate the statistical parameters of time-domain & frequency-domain, measured signals were analyzed by using the discrete wavelet transform, fast fourier transform, statistical analysis. Total 84 parameters were obtained. And Effectiveness factor were used to evaluate the discrimination capacity of each parameter. From the effectiveness factor, RAW-P4/RAW-P7/WT2-NNL/WT2-EE/WT1-P1 showed high ranking. Finally, these parameters were selected as the feature parameters of intelligent fault diagnostics for rotor.

  • We have implemented the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) into the cosmological N-body simulation code. The pre-initial particle distribution is set to follow the glacial conditions and the initial temperature of hydro particles is calculated based on the adiabatic process in the expanding backgrounds. Typical adiabatic SPH equations are adopted and, additionally, non-adiabatic processes such as heating/cooling and supernova explosion are added. We study the effect of star formation criteria on the global star formation rate and compare it with the observations.

Compact Size Wideband Microstrip Antenna Element for Repeater and Base Stations at 2 GHz

  • A compact size microstrip antenna element using FR-4 substrate is proposed for use in repeater and base stations. Two stacked patches are aperture-coupled by two split feedlines. Rectangular stubs on the split feedlines are laid under the aperture and have the effect of considerably lowing the magnitude of $S_{11}$ [dB] and broadening impedance bandwidth. The designed structure has been fabricated and measured. Based on 20 dB, the return loss bandwidth is about 16.8% (1.86 GHz~2.20 GHz), which covers the frequency range assigned for IMT-2000 with a large margin. The overall dimension of the proposed antenna structure is 37 mm$\times$41 mm$\times$19mm (very compact). The antenna gain is more than 7.5 dBi over the required frequency range.

  • 본 논문은 돈사 내부의 환기부를 연속적으로 작동한 상태에서 환기부의 입기팬 및 배기팬의 회전수를 감소시키거나 증가시킴으로서 축사 내부로 유입되는 환기량을 조절하고, 이에 따라 환기 운영 시에 축사 내부의 온도 편차를 최소화함과 동시에 유해가스에 의한 돈사 내 공기오염을 방지할 수 있는 지능형 돈사 환기 제어 시스템 설계에 관한 연구이다. 본 시스템에는 온도 측정 데이터를 일정간격으로 저장하고, 저장된 온도 변화의 특성을 추출하여 지능적으로 돈사의 상태를 최적으로 유지할 수 있는 지능형 환기 제어 모델, 사용자의 연령 및 상황을 고려한 가시적이고 직관적인 사용자 위주의 인터페이스 설계가 포함된다.

CPW에 삽입된 T자형 DGS (T-Shaped DGS for CPW)

  • 본 논문에서는 CPW에 식각된 T자형 DGS를 제안하고 전송이론을 이용하여 전파 방사를 포함한 손실률, BW(3-dB fractional bandwidth) 등을 closed-form 형태의 수식으로 유도하고 이의 영향에 대해 분석한다. 제안된 T자형 DGS 구조는 기존의 아령형 DGS 구조보다 약 5.5배정도 큰 커패시턴스(C) 조절 특성을 가진다. 또 DGS 등가회로의 R, L, C값과 손실률, BW, 저지대역 공진 각주파수($\omega_0$)의 상관관계를 정량적으로 이끌어낸다.
